"APPLEBLOOM!?"
The joint exclamations roofed from the muzzles of the young mares known by the names Scootaloo and Sweetie belle. Their surprise was understandable, and their voices hinted the slightest undertones of confusion. And both continued to stand, completely slack-jawed, as the pony that could have once been known as adorable, or innocent, or even slightly weak, stood in the barn-like doorway of the high school front door, the illuminious light of a new day glaring gloriously behind her and casting a long, grey shadow onto the class hallway. But the lighting was not in the least the reason for their shock.
For their cute little friend, who had always chose the fashions of a dorky country style, was proudly sporting a black leather jacket studded with unique and unevenly cut points of silver. her mane was pulled back and held in place by what appeared to be a slick, expensive hair gel. Her face had a ruthless grin, her eyes narrowed. The sudden change in appearance was a total renovation for Applebloom's two fillyhood friends. Her newfound style left them entirely and utterly dumbfounded. Applebloom snickered as she stepped out of the pathway of light, her gaze rough.
