Another Dimension

-Lovenote's P.O.V.-

A loud scream came from my friends bedroom. I galloped down the long corridor. Once I finally reached her room I bucked open the door knowing she always keeps it locked. Right at the edge of her bed was a snake specifically Venus's snake.

"Sparkler really, you don't need to scream.", I said taking the frightening snake off her bed with my magic. Sparkler just simply lifted her legs in fear.

"That snake is just simply terrifying. Venus, how can you stand to have that monster?", Sparkler snarled at Venus rudely.

"Viper is not a monster! She is sweet as long as you don't bother her and evidently you did something to disturb her peace!", Venus said taking the snake and letting it wrap around her neck like a scarf. She just simply smiled and walked away from view. Sparkler rolled her eyes and looked at the moon that was in the night sky. I trotted over to the window and looked out following the moon's decent into the horizon. The sun began to rise over the horizon it was a bright yellow-orange.

"Well might as well get up anyway, the suns up. Thanks a lot to Venus's dumb snake I just lost ten minutes of extra beauty sleep.", Sparkler said looking at me annoyed.

"Sparkler it's not that big of a deal.", Pearl said walking into the room her purple mane was all over the place and her teal coat, that was normally a shiny color, was dull and dusty. She had this off look about her but that must be because her mane wasn't combed nor did she get a shower last night. From what I could hear in her room she was up all night. Pearl never usually gets sleep she reads all night. She's never usually outside and is always reading. When we do go outside I have to drag her with my magic.

"Uh! Not a big deal! I didn't get my extra ten minutes of sleep!", Sparkler spoke angrily. She didn't notice the bags under Pearl's eyes.

"Ok, I didn't even get an hour of sleep so stop complaining for Celestia's sake.", Pearl said walking away from the door that was kicked in and now on the floor.

"What does Celestia have to do with this?", Sparkler yelled towards Pearl's direction.

"It is her sun, isn't it?", Pearl questioned smartly. Sparkler didn't answer she just rolled her eyes and got out of bed. I walked out of the room to mine. I opened the mailbox on the side of the wall and looked inside. An envelope was put inside but there was no return address. My horn lit up with magic as so did the envelope. I stepped into my room and kicked the door shut. The envelope was blue, opening it with magic a paper was folded inside. I unfolded it and looked at it. My horn stopped lighting with the magic when I saw what was on the paper. It fell to the ground and I jumped. On the piece of paper was lyrics to a song. I looked a million times before understanding what the lyrics meant.

Later that day

"Hey can everyone meet me outside in a few minutes I want to show all of you something.", I yelled down the hall making the announcement. I practiced the song all day and was so excited to perform it in front of my friends. I walked out the door and walked over to a stage that was just around the corner. The first to arrive was Sky Dancer she was always on time never late. The next to arrive was Pink Beats we had sort of the same interest but she was into the electronic stuff but she was still a great friend. Pearl was the next one to arrive she had a book tucked under her wing the purple and teal feathers covering the title of the book. Even though Venus was very precise with the was she looks she was never the last one to come never early nor late. When Sparkler arrived I was getting agitated she is so specific with the way she looks that she takes forever to get here and calls it fashionably late.

"Ok so I got this song I'm going to sing to you.", I announced as I saw that everypony was now seated. I took the piece of paper and began to sing.

"Worlds and worlds away,

It only takes one day,

For your friends too come,

Just take take one step then run,

Believe what is said,

And leave the dead,

For it is better this way,

For you will go to a different day.", as I sang my horn began to light up with a force of magic unknown to my powers I was capable of. Then I realized it was a spell as I sang the last word. A light beam shot into the air and then it all went black.
