I galloped down the long corridor. Once I finally reached her room I bucked open the door knowing she always keeps it locked. Right at the edge of her bed was a snake specifically Venus's snake. "Sparkler really, you don't need to scream.", I said taking the frightening snake off her bed with my magic. Sparkler just simply lifted her legs in fear. "That snake is just simply terrifying. Venus, how can you stand to have that monster?", Sparkler snarled at Venus rudely. "Viper is not a monster! She is sweet as long as you don't bother her and evidently you did something to disturb her peace!", Venus said taking the snake and letting it wrap around her neck like a scarf. She just simply smiled and walked away from view. Sparkler rolled her eyes and looked at the moon that was in the night sky. I trotted over to the window and looked out following the moon's decent into the horizon. The sun began to rise over the horizon it was a bright yellow-orange. "Well might as well get up anyway, the suns up. Thanks a lot to Venus's dumb snake I just lost ten minutes of extra beauty sleep.", Sparkler said looking at me annoyed. "Sparkler it's not that big of a deal.", Pearl said walking into the room her purple mane was all over the place and her teal coat, that was normally a shiny color, was dull and dusty. She had this off look about her but that must be because her mane wasn't combed nor did she get a shower last night. From what I could hear in her room she was up all night. Pearl never usually gets sleep she reads all night. She's never usually outside and is always reading. When we do go outside I have to drag her with my magic. "Uh! Not a big deal! I didn't get my extra ten minutes of sleep!", Sparkler spoke angrily. She didn't notice the bags under Pearl's eyes. "Ok, I didn't even get an hour of sleep so stop complaining for Celestia's sake.", Pearl said walking away from the door that was kicked in and now on the floor. "What does Celestia have to do with this?", Sparkler yelled towards Pearl's direction. "It is her sun, isn't it?", Pearl questioned smartly. Sparkler didn't answer she just rolled her eyes and got out of bed. I walked out of the room to mine. I opened the mailbox on the side of the wall and looked inside. An envelope was put inside but there was no return address. My horn lit up with magic as so did the envelope. I stepped into my room and kicked the door shut. The envelope was blue, opening it with magic a paper was folded inside. I unfolded it and looked at it. My horn stopped lighting with the magic when I saw what was on the paper. It fell to the ground and I jumped. On the piece of paper was lyrics to a song. I looked a million times before understanding what the lyrics meant. Later that day "Hey can everyone meet me outside in a few minutes I want to show all of you something.", I yelled down the hall making the announcement. I practiced the song all day and was so excited to perform it in front of my friends. I walked out the door and walked over to a stage that was just around the corner. The first to arrive was Sky Dancer she was always on time never late. The next to arrive was Pink Beats we had sort of the same interest but she was into the electronic stuff but she was still a great friend. Pearl was the next one to arrive she had a book tucked under her wing the purple and teal feathers covering the title of the book. Even though Venus was very precise with the was she looks she was never the last one to come never early nor late. When Sparkler arrived I was getting agitated she is so specific with the way she looks that she takes forever to get here and calls it fashionably late. "Ok so I got this song I'm going to sing to you.", I announced as I saw that everypony was now seated. I took the piece of paper and began to sing. "Worlds and worlds away, It only takes one day, For your friends too come, Just take take one step then run, Believe what is said, And leave the dead, For it is better this way, For you will go to a different day.", as I sang my horn began to light up with a force of magic unknown to my powers I was capable of. Then I realized it was a spell as I sang the last word. A light beam shot into the air and then it all went black. //-------------------------------------------------------// Where are we? //-------------------------------------------------------// Where are we? -Sparkler's P.O.V.- My eyes open to Celestia's bright sun high in the sky. All my friends were laying on the ground but we were no longer near a stage. Everything in that area seemed to vanish. I immediately began to panic. "LOVENOTE! WHERE IN EQUESTRIA DID YOU TAKE US!", I screamed at her angrily before noticing a pony that looked sort of like me. "Everypony calm down. I can't tell you where we are but it looks like Baltimare. We were here before but the stage is no longer here and it still looks like the normal busy city so don't worry.", Lovenote said calmly as I began to panic. "Stay calm, how are we supposed to stay calm when we don't even know where we are!", I screamed panicking even more than before. I began to pace back and forth and the more I paced the more panicked I became. "Sparkler please stop pacing. You are going to get tired before we even move.", Lovenote said calmly. I stopped pacing and sat down on the grass it wasn't very comfortable. Each blade of grass rubbed up against my fur and skin making me flinch a few times. I swear if we are anywhere but Equestria I will snap her head in half. Standing up I walked over to a building that looked a lot  like our hotel we were staying in. On the front of the building a big sign read "L'Etalon de Luxe" and of course I knew what it meant, The Luxurious Stallion. Which honestly made no sense the hotel we were staying at was called The Luxurious Mare and it too was in French and looked exactly like this building. That's when I began to panic. Pink Beats walked over to me and began to calm me down. Which worked and I became less panicked and more worried. "The Luxurious Stallion? That's odd it's supposed to be The Luxurious Mare." Lovenote said finally noticing a difference on the sign. "Wait you know french." I said surprised. "Sparkler just because I'm not fancy like you doesn't mean I don't know a fancy language." Lovenote said smirking. A pony with a darker purple and pink mane than Lovenote's mane came to the door. I dragged her away from the entrance and instead stood there I grabbed a green scarf out of my bag. I stood in front of now what I could tell was a stallion. "Sparks what's up what are you doing here are you here to hear me sing." he said. That's something that Lovenote would say even though no one has ever called me Sparks before. I had a glance of his cutie mark for a second and realized it looked exactly like Lovenote's. Then it hit me we are in a different dimension where ourselves are stallions instead of mares. "Um I gotta go Note." I said giving him a nickname which he didn't mind as I ran down an alley my friends were hiding. "Why do I always have to do the hard work? Oh and girls I have a bit of bad news." I said panting as I approached them. "Because you are an amazing actress and what's the bad news?" Lovenote answered. "We are sorta in an alternate dimension. Everypony here is the opposite gender if the are a female. Including, us." I said. "Wait you mean to tell me we are all males here." Lovenote said shocked. "Yes I just met your's." I said trying to sound as calm as I could. "You did?" She asked. "Yeah, he's alot like you oh wait he is you." I said and then we all laughed in unison. "Hold up does this mean there's another Sky dancer. Oh Celestia help us." Pearl added no longer laughing. We all walked into the hotel and it all looked the same the only difference was the name and the fountains. Back in "our dimension" the fountains were maremaids. Here they were a stallion with a mermaid tail I think Pearl would know more about those than I would or anyone else in the group would. The walls were a familiar purple and gray putting the "lobby area" in a slight gloomy but still vibrant setting. Flowers filled the room and gave a sweet aroma that would make any stallion think he found the mare of his dreams. Oddly enough it was a pleasant smell and it made me want to buy some of those flowers once we got back home. I was finally pulled away from my thought when Pearl yelled for me to follow them to a room. "Sparkler come on we need to go.", she said impatiently. "Ok, ok. I'm coming.", I stated and turned around and ran to a staircase that seemed to go on forever. "What floor are we?", I added hoping we weren't to far up. "25th floor.", Lovenote answered my question. Unfortunately my hope didn't help and by the end of this horrifying adventure I would be more tired than ever. When we finally reached our hotel room I walked in to see a large kitchen, a bathroom to the left, and three bedrooms. Running into all of them I noticed they all were the same size. After exiting the last one I looked at Lovenote and questioned her. "Of course you got one where every room was the same size. I call dibs on the second bedroom." I said running from the third room to the second. Lovenote smiled and said, "Ok but everypony has to share a room with somepony so you share a room with Pearl. I share a room with Pink Beats and Venus shares a room with Sky Dancer." Everyone went to their rooms and Pearl came into our room. Something I was very glad about was that each room had two beds and I definitely was not going to share my bed not if my life depended on it I wouldn't. Slipping under the cover I closed my eyes I was glad Pearl had no books to read so she would keep me up. Slowly falling asleep an image popped into my head of how I looked as a male pony. I tried to stop thinking about it but I was so curious. Opening my eyes back up I squirmed and shifted my position in the bed. Closing my eyes once more I found myself in complete peace as if I was back home in my own bed. My head against my fluffy pillow and my soft blankets covering me. The fact of even being trapped in this other world faded away as I fell into a deep sleep.
