The curtains were closed in the Carousel Boutique. A white unicorn snuggled in her warm bed while a sleeping mask covered her eyes. She rolled in the bed, not wanting to get up from the luxury, but duties called for the white unicorn. She rose from her slumber while removing her mask by her magical grasp. She walked over to the curtains drawing them while covering herself from the blinding sun. Her eyes adjusted to the new found life and she made way for her bathroom.
The running of the tap filled the room. She drove her hoof under the water, lifting it up and rubbing her face. She tried to escape the tiredness but to no a veal. She took a brush to her mane while curlers floated close by in a blue aura. Bedtime knots and curves were made straight while still keeping a wavy mane. She took the curlers to the end of her mane and rolled her hair into a curling ocean of purple.
She walked down the stairs while her cat still slept on its porch. In the kitchen she poured boiling water into a cup with a tea bag nearby. She lowered the tea bag, letting it soak while dabbing it in the water, then stopped and threw it away in a stylish bin with curves of colour. She sat at the the table while sipping at her hot tea checking her "To Do" list for the day, which mostly involved making dresses. The chin of a empty tea cup hit the table with a ting.
The white unicorn walked up stairs into her "Inspiration Room" just to be found at a desk with measurements, pencils, pens and clear paper. She sat there for a while, thinking of any possible idea. Soon she got bored and walked over to the window where the light shone in. She spotted a yellow Pegasus walking down the street with a bag over her back, with a flower in her mane. The Pegasus was smiling with glee but that was another story for the unicorn, for she was stuck working.
To the Unicorn's surprise, the Pegasus was heading her way. Then from below she heard two light knocks on her fancy door. She trotted downstairs, for her spirits rose seeing her friend. She opened the door to the cheerful mare.
"Hi Rarity! I know you have to work all day, so I brought you some lunch to snack on." She revealed the bag to her friend and held it out.
"Why thank you Fluttershy, that's very sweet of you." Rarity politely took the bag and hovered it to her side. The container the lunch was in had a beautiful patterns of flowers on the sides.
"It's no problem Rarity, anything for a friend!" Fluttershy said smiling, the word 'friend' hurt Rarity a bit, but she had no idea why. The sun shone over the butter Pegasus' natural beauty that Rarity did not intend her to have. " So Rarity, how has your day been so far?" The words knocked Rarity out of her not intended trance she was held in. Suddenly, a spark lit in her head for a dress.
" Oh, the entire morning I couldn't find any inspiration, but I think I have got it. I''ll call it " A Flower's Bloom" Oh thank thank you darling!" She hugged Fluttershy in a tight hug.
"It's no problem Rarity..... For whatever I did" Fluttershy was released from the embrace.
"I'm so very sorry but I have to cut the chat short, I have work to do." Rarity frowned just to go back to that plain desk of work.
"Oh, its fine Rarity. Bye!" Rarity waved as her friend turned and left to a new place. Rarity closed the door in a huff. She hated when her best friend had to go. She really enjoyed her presents when it was lonely.
The white unicorn was running to side to side collecting fabric for this dress and so often taken a bite if the sandwich her "dear" friend made her. The sandwich was Rarity's favourite it was a rose sandwich witch the roses were in perfect bloom to eat. The manikin in the corner was being cover in fabrics perfectly stitched to together while some of the fabric on it shiny and others silk with the colour yellow.
Rarity wiped her head from the sweat of working for two hours it was finally done. The dress had yellow curves and twists going across it with pink strands and a darker pink for the lining with a small train to be found at the end. This was a master peace a true work of art that she adored. She took it of her manikin with her blue magic and lifted it to her with a flash of slow growling light it appeared on her in seconds. She looked in the mirror in case of details overall the dress was magnificent.
She looked at the time it was now five o'clock but she still had a lot of work to attend to. She heard the door open then after a few moments it closed and a young voice called up "Rarity am home!" Rarity groaned but she still loved her little sister but at this moment she was busy and had no time to watch her. Rarity made her way down the stairs to greet her younger sister.
"Hi sweetie belle how was your day?" Rarity asked looking down at her sister.
The little pony lumped with joy at the question " oh it was great me and apple loom and scoota loo done loads of crusading. We held a race "tried" to fixed a roof" her younger sister giggled at the thought of what happened but she trailed with other adventures her trio had." Wow rarity! That dress your wearing is amazing you just make it!" Sweetie belles eyes sparkled at the dress her sister was wearing.
"Isn't it though I got some inspiration and this came along its call "flour in bloom" and am so proud of it!" Rarity scanned over the dress again.
