spike at a new home: finding ways home book 1
I'm Matt Trent. A 13 year old brony a fan of the show my little pony friendship is magic. One day when I was riding my bike home from the.first day of school I saw a box. I stopped and, wondered if there was something inside it maybe a book but, no inside the box was a Dragon. It was spike. He looked about the same age as he was in the show. I picked up the box and went home. When I got home I had to come up with a lie to hide spike.
"it's for a school project about ancient Egypt."I said and thankfully they believed me
When I got to my room I opened the box and I asked some questions even though I already knew some of them I didn't want to come off as weird.
"I'm Matt. what's your name little guy?" I asked
"Spike and I'm a dragon. I'm sorry that's all I can remember." He said starting to cry.
"no no it's okay spike." I said Spike stopped crying immediately afterwards.
"do you wanna help me with my homework?" I asked spike
"Um ok." Spike replied.
We started working he helped me with my homework and then I had a idea "spike do you wanna come to school with me tomorrow?" I asked the baby dragon.
"that would be amazing Matt!" Spike said
We went downstairs and found my mum and dad sitting on the couch watching the TV. eating pizza and chips as thay watched Doctor Who.
"mum dad I have something to tell you I made friends with a baby dragon named spike." Now my parents did watch the first episode of MLP with me and they fought it was okay.
"You what!" My dad exclaimed and my mother had a different reaction "that's some nice Matt wearies Spike." Then spike walked in the room.
"mum can spike go to school with me?" I asked at first she said no but after some persuading she finally said yes
The next day me and spike got ready for school.it was kind of weird having a baby dragon living with me. wen we got to School we went right to our classroom.
"Hello class today we- oh my god a dragon!" Exclaimed Ms.Key
"Um hi I'm spike." Spike said sheepishly as he waved his hand.
When the rest of the class got to school they had the same reaction as ms.key.
