Prequel to Deep In The Everfree

Shadowleaf is a pegasus. He's also been through a lot in his life. Wars, massacres, you name it. He's a royal guard for Princess Luna. When a unicorn comes into Canterlot, havoc breaks lose. He kills a guard in the street, threatens the whole city, and demands Luna allows him to murder Celestia and pass it off as suicide. She has one week.

Shadowleaf is sent to follow him back. The monster created during his pursuit will change the Everfree Forest forever.
