Silver TIp in Ponyville

I trudged onward, ignoring the pain in my hooves. Why did I feel compelled to walk to Ponyville? Because my artistic mind gave me a great idea for my next novel but I couldn't start it until I had the proper setting. I felt the best place to have my story would be Ponyville. However, I had never been to Ponyville. I then came to the conclusion that I had to go to Ponyville so I packed my saddle-pack and left Fillydelphia. Unfortunately, I left all my bits at home and couldn't get a room at a hotel so I had been walking for several days straight without any sleep. As you can imagine, by the time I arrived in Ponyville, I was rather cranky.

A light pink mare with a fluffy, dark pink mane and tail and bright blue eyes ran into me and gasped dramatically, somehow floating in midair for a millisecond. I felt my eye twitch in anger so I walked around the earth pony. She hopped next to me as I walked through the town square.

"You're new in town!" she exclaimed. "I know every-pony in Ponyville and since I don't know you, you have to be new!"

I didn't respond to her rather unusual excitement in fear of saying something that would upset her.

"I'm gonna throw you a Welcome-to-Ponyville party! I'm Pinkie Pie and I just LOVE parties and making ponies smile!" She suddenly jumped in front of me. "What's your name, grumpy-wumpy-frowny-face?"

I paused, uncertain as if I should respond to this ludicrous mare. "Silver Tip."

She stopped her jump and stayed floating there. "How does she do that?" I thought to myself. "She's an earth pony, not a pegasus." Pinkie's eyes appeared to pop out of her head as she gasped again. "The author?!"

Slowly, I nodded.

"OOOOOOOH! I know some-pony who would LOVE to meet you!" Pinkie said happily, jumping up and down.

I groaned right as my stomach growled.

"YAY! I can take you to Sugar Cube Corner the bestest, best place in all of Ponyville to get sweets!"

Before I could protest and tell Pinkie that I didn't have any money, she had dragged me to Sugar Cube Corner. I immediately sat in one of the stools, happy to relax. Pinkie suddenly put a slice of apple pie in front of me.

"On the house!"

I greedily ate it and hardly noticed five other ponies walk into the store.

"Twilight!" Pinkie exclaimed, waving a hoof to some-pony behind me. "I want you to meet some-pony!"

"Pinkie," the pony called Twilight replied in a scolding manner. "You were late for our pet play date so we came to get you."

"We were very worried, Pinkie," said a quiet voice.

"Who's this?" a cyan colored mare commented, floating above me. I looked up at the pegasus pony and was slightly amazed at her rainbow colored mane and magenta eyes. I stared back at her with brown/purple eyes.

Suddenly I belched. "Excuse me," I said, my light brown face flushing slightly.

"Oh, my," said one pony in disbelief.

"Why Ah never," added another pony with a southern accent.

"Eeep," another said quietly.

"Wh - what?" one commented.

The cyan pegasus looked at Pinkie and they both burst out laughing.

"That was awesome!" the pegasus exclaimed and patted my back.

Pinkie was laughing too hard to say anything.

"Thanks," I said in uncertainty.

"I'm Rainbow Dash!" she said and held out a hoof.

I took her hoof and shook it. "I'm Silver Tip."

Next thing I knew, there was a purple unicorn in my face. I blinked. "You're Silver Tip?" she exclaimed.

I nodded.

"I have everyone of your books! You are such an amazing author."

"Thank you," I replied.

"You must come to my library and sign my books!"

"Now?"

She smiled and nodded.

I sighed. "Okay."
