Battle of Manehattan

The sky was tainted with black smoke as fire surrounded the entire landscape, the earth broken and scattered all around the battlefield as blood was being splattered across the grass. Dragons roared as they breathed fire at their adversaries, trying to crush the mysterious foes before them with all of their might, but to no avail. The Blood Ancients were a foe that they have never encountered or even faced before in combat, dragons were being cut down one by one as the Blood Ancients only advanced further down the battlefront. Lenesia only smiled in pure blood-lust as she stood upon a dragons scorched corpse, holding the bleeding heart of her enemy as she savagely chomped down onto the large dragon heart with her sharp canines. The delicate and metallic liquid oozed from her lips as she licked them slowly, her vicious red eyes were glowing beautifully, leaving aura trails at the corner of her eyelids. Lenesia held her golden shield and her large lance as her soldiers advanced with haste, she casted herself from the dragons corpse and onto the battlefield below. Joining her fellow soldiers in combat, she held her lance by her side as she thrusted it forward and impaling a lesser dragon with it. The sensation of feeling the sharp metal piercing the scales and puncturing the dragons heart made Lenesia smile. She pulled her lance free from the fallen dragon as one of her soldiers approached her while holding a shield.

"My queen, larger dragons are closing in from the north. They appear to be wearing stronger armor." The soldier spoke with a stern look toward his queen. Lenesia only chuckled as she stabbed her lance into the bloodied dirt beneath her. "Do not fear my subject, assemble three of my enchanters." Lenesia spoke as her loyal soldier nodded and dashed behind her to gather her enchanters. Lenesia turned her vision as four lesser dragons rushed toward her with their swords and spears raised, she slammed her shield on the ground as it created a shock-wave. The sudden shock-wave sent the lesser dragons staggering and trying to regain their balance, but Lenesia quickly disposed of them. She thrusted her right fist forward with incredible speed as her knuckles crashed into the first dragons windpipe, she then slammed her shield into the seconds temple; Caving his skull in. The last two she thrown her shield with massive force toward the two soldiers as it collided with the third soldiers rib-cage and tore through him entirely. The last soldier was decapitated by the speeding shield as his head rolled across the dirt.

Lenesia quickly picked up her bloody shield as she looked past her shoulder and her three enchanters were waiting with their wands. Lenesia stood in front of them as she waited for the larger dragons to appear over the mountains. "Now my enchanters when the dragons are in sight, cast your fellow soldiers with the blessing of the Ancients." Lenesia commanded as her enchanters began to cast their spells onto their fellow soldiers, including Lenesia. As the larger dragons came into view, Lenesia was dashing across the battlefield with her soldiers. The power of the blessings was coursing through her veins as her body took upon a pure white hue, she held up her lance and threw it at one of the flying behemoths as it impacted and exploded into a giant ball of holy light. The large dragon roared in agony as it rapidly fell to the earth and collided with the dirt, the rest of Lenesia's soldiers attacked with no mercy. Thousands of blessed arrows tore through the lesser dragons as if they were butter, the battle was coming closer to an end as more dragons fell.

Lenesia held up her shield as the flurry of scorching fireballs smashed against it, her soldiers followed close behind her in perfect unison as the fire was rendered useless against the Blood Ancient steel. "FIRE!!!" Lenesia shouted as she ducked and her enchanters unleashed a group attack, casting a massive beam of light toward the flying dragons as the beam engulfed their enemies with bone decaying light. Lenesia could see the ashes fall from the sky as the large dragons were vanquished, the remaining lesser dragons were cut down by her soldiers. The battle over Manehattan was victorious for Equestria.

Lenesia calmly walked down the dirt road with her soldiers, covered in blood and from their slaughtered enemies she could see the looks of pride from her subjects. "You all have done your duty well today." Lenesia said as her soldiers shouted in praise. Joined alongside her was one small stallion scout, he was shaking all over as he had never seen so much death in his life. Lenesia smiled as she place her bloody armored glove on the stallions mane as he cringed with fear, she simply petted him gently as the stallion calmed down a tiny bit. "So why have you decided to travel alongside me and my fellow soldiers stallion?" Lenesia asked with an raised eyebrow. The stallion straightened his back and shook his head a few times before he spoke, "I am Whispering Note, one of the royal scouts, it is my duty to report the status of the battle." Note said as he looked up at Lenesia, her golden armor was smeared with dragon blood, the mere smell alone was making him gag.  Lenesia chuckled at the pony as she patted him on the back.
