When the bird’s sung like they did that day the last thing you would expect is trouble. Ponyville was not due for any weather other than sunshine for the next few days. The pegusi, with Rainbow Dash in charge, made sure of that. They chased away every cloud around Ponyville not expecting clouds to come out of the nowhere in the middle of town. It was Derpy who first noticed the storm clouds. He was busy kicking a small white cloud at the time, when lightening erupted on his tail. “Derp. Uh Rainbow I know were supposed to chase clouds away from Ponyville but what about the ones already over the town.” He questioned. Irritated, Rainbow retorted without looking, “Derpy there are no storm clouuuu-” Her mouth gaped open in shock at all the new storm clouds continuously growing. “Oh those storm clouds.” He sighed “COME ON EVERYPONY, CHARGE!” He yelled. With the order just out of his mouth he darted of towards the storm clouds. Following his lead every pegusi charged after him. Rainbow was just moments away from one storm cloud when he abruptly stopped squashed by what seemed to be air. The other pegusi charged on hardly noticing the squashed pony in front of them. Every pegusi crashed in roughly the same spot. A flood of random pony’s rush to see what might of caused this. Almost as if on cue a magical purple glow gleamed as the spell was renewed. Everyone gasped in awe as they realized the spell surrounded only the library refusing any entry. One by one each pegusi peeled him/herself off of the magical barrior, ashamed that they had not noticed its presence. Ponies began to get scared as they never knew what would happen when that one unicorn that lived in the library went into a rage. All but seven remained by the barrier each started to try and get through the magic but there attempts were not greeted with success. Each knew that the unicorn needed time to relax. All but one baby dragon. “TWIIIIILLLLIIIIIGGGGHHHHT!” ======= Twilight was very angry her horn aglow. She had sent out spike earlier saying she really wanted an apple, so spike had left to get an apple during which she had cast a shield charm around the library and had created the storm clouds to match her mood. She had received a letter the previous day and thankfully spike never read it or there would have been tons of questions. It read. Dear Twilight After your last letter of an update helped me make up my mind. I no longer love you Twilight. I wonder if I ever did. So goodbye. Flash P.S. I have found a new mare friend who never complains. After reading this Twilight’s eyes had filled with tears. Her heart in agony. Her mane had suddenly burst to flame and her fur had become a brilliant white. Her magic now very strong she had blasted her bedroom door to dust. Spike behind the door had ducked just in time to receive only some burnt scales. The next morning she had awoken to find the letter singed in places. She took the parchment and restored it to its original look, scrunched it up and flung it as hard as she could at her mirror. The glass had shattered to the floor only one piece remained unscathed and it was in perfect line with her eye. Seeing the anger within she had calmed herself enough so that spike believed she was back to normal. He had left dutifully to fetch what she asked for. Leaving her enough time to make sure she was not disturbed. “TWIIIIILLLLIIIIIGGGGHHHHT!” a screaming yell brought Twilight back to the present. “Spike?” murmured Twilight “has it really been that long”. The pain in spike’s voice almost made Twilight lower her barrier. Her magic weakened a little. “NO!” a burst of magic erupted from her horn making the barrier stronger. *CRASH* ======= Rainbow saw the barrier slacken a little in power so she had put on a burst of speed to get through. She was a tad slow and her tail was caught in the magic. Flapping hard she tore her tail free spinning out of control towards the tree house. *CRASH* She smashed through the bedroom window. Hoofsteps thundered towards her. Rainbow, nervous, began dancing on the spot wondering which way to run when suddenly the door burst open revealing a very angry unicorn. “Whoa Twilight take it easy I didn’t mean no harm, just wanted to know what’s upset ya this time” Rainbow grinned. Rainbow saw Twilight’s eyes flick towards her shattered mirror where the crumpled parchment still lay before glaring coldly at Rainbow. “NONE OF YOUR BUISNESS!” Twilight snapped. Rainbow began inching towards the parchment trying to make her movements invisible. She was almost there when the letter glowed purple and began to float towards Twilight. “DON’T YOU DARE! EVER HEARD OF PRIVACY!” screamed Twilight Rainbow found this very tempting to read the letter now. Without a warning of any kind she launched herself towards Twilight. She grabbed the letter in her teeth, distracting Twilight from her spell allowing Rainbow to escape the library. ======= The rest of Twilight’s friends had been pacing anxiously outside as they heard the shouting, and were very surprised when the barrier went down completely and a rainbow streak flew out which muttered the words. “Apple Barn.” The friends were confused by this until a lavender mare stormed out of the library with the look of murder upon her face. For a moment Twilight just glared at them before a cloud appeared around her friends as they sped towards Applejack’s barn.
