This was item that fell into the possession of Twilight Sparkle, a scholar from the city who is unknowingly moments away from achieving her very fate; for the time being though, she has enlisted the help of her friend Applejack, a farmhand from the countryside for research purpose.

Little did any of the two know this tome in question would perhaps prove to be not like the others that the former has read throughout her very life, let alone research and report on; as a matter of fact, only the latter will be the first to learn why.
