Pinkie's Nightmarish Nightmare Night
It was an okey dokey loki Nightmare Night for Pinkie Pie. Over the course of last year, Twilight became a princess, Twilight's brother got married, lots of new villans had been fought and Pinkie Pie’s friends had gotten rainbow powers. Her costume was different this year. She was a police officer. She wasn’t afraid of anypony! And she had gotten lots and lots of candy to eat, as if she didn’t eat enough sugar already.
As she galloped over to the Spa to see if they were handing out lollipops this year, or Plum Fool’s nasty pumpkin rice cookies again, she saw her friends having fun around town. Applejack, dressed as Mistress Mare-velous, and Rarity, dressed as Queen Chrysalis, were taking the Cutie Mark Crusaders, dressed as Franken-Berry, Boo Berry, and Count Chocula, to Sugarcube Corner while bonding more and chatting about what they were doing, and if Apple Bloom or Sweetie Belle were getting better grades. Twilight Sparkle, her still newish Alicorn wings glistening, was busy having a discussion with Mayor Mare and Princess Luna about what was going on with the castles and what not. Whatever, it didn’t interest Pinkie Pie like candy did. Delicious, tongue tingling candy. Pinkie Pie started drooling like Discord had summoned her a personal chocolate milk cloud.
Pinkie Pie turned her attention to Fluttershy, who was dressed like a jazz singer and handing out treats to an annoyed Diamond Tiara, and an excited Silver Spoon and Pipsqueak, happy with the goodies they’d received. Rainbow Dash, dressed as Daring Do, was naturally playing a few pranks on Lyra Heartstrings and Sweetie Drops, mostly involving egging, toilet papering, and dog doo on fire left on the porch, all of which Sweetie Drops tutted at while Lyra giggled. The Flim Flam brothers were trying to peddle worn out last minute costumes to Colgate and Berry Punch.
Pinkie saw two mares standing in front of the spa with Zecora standing with them, dressed as Spider Mare, along with Derpy as Goku, and Doctor Whooves as a heavy metal guitarist. Pinkie Pie made her way closer, but Zecora whispered as she passed, “If it is delicious lollypops you seek, I think that you will now go eek. For now,all lollypops are gone. Cookies will stay here quite long.”
“Aw, man!” said Pinkie Pie, kicking a stone at her feet. “Oh well, I’ll just go play in the Everfree Forest since I have all my candy.”she said, skipping off into the forest. Rarity, who had walked up behind her to talk, noticed her going off in the direction of the Everfree Forest. Rarity couldn’t quite place why she couldn’t go into the forest. She sauntered back over to Applejack and Sweetie Belle, to go through Cranky Doodle’s haunted house with them.
It was dark and scary looking in the forest, but Pinkie Pie just laughed away the scariness. As she galloped towards the Castle of the Two Sisters, she heard some crackling and snapping in the bushes. A stallion wearing a suit walked out. His face was blank, and his cutie mark was a circle with an X going through it.
“Hello, who are you?” asked Pinkie Pie. The faceless pony tilted his head towards her. Pinkie saw the lack of face, and giggled. She had heard the stories around town, but had never believed them, not even as a filly. “C’mon, Rainbow Dash, nice prank, but there’s no such thing as…” Pinkie started, but the pony rose up, with black, slimy looking tendrils boosting him off the ground. “Slender Pony!” screamed Pinkie Pie.
Pinkie Pie sprinted towards the castle, trying to laugh at the Slender Pony, but he was just too scary. But Pinkie Pie remembered, “I’m a police officer, and I’m not afraid of anything!” she shouted, holding up a squirt gun at Slender Pony. He turned without speaking and trotted off.
Pinkie Pie hopped off to the castle of the Two Sisters, and opened the door. She saw an ugly shade on non-Pinkie pink liquid on the floor. She clicked on the flashlight she had, but an ugly looking creature with a torn-up face looked at her. She had heard the stories that the castle was haunted, and now she knew that they were true!
“Castle Monster!” screamed Pinkie, rushing out the door, and slamming it. She tried to laugh at the monster thing she had seen, but it was just too scary.
“Wait, a minute, I’m a police officer, and I’m not afraid of anything!” Pinkie declared. She opened the door and turned on the light. An old tapestry was draped over a hat rack, and the liquid was some paint primer spilled on the floor from some restorations of the castle as a museum.
“I think I’ve had enough adventure for one night. I’ll go grab some pizza and go back to Sugarcube Corner.” Pinkie decided. She galloped happily, going back through town. Everyone stayed up extremely late on Nightmare Night, so she decided to go to her favorite pizza place. She opened the door. On the Stage were three animals. A bear, a chicken, and a bunny. Pinkie noticed that the place was empty. Then again, Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza was never open this late. Odd that the door was open though. As she walked across the dining hall, she saw the bear look at her. Pinkie Pie had heard the rumors but had laughed them off. Walking robots in a pizza restaurant? It seemed way to farfetched for Pinkie Pie. But still she was a little unnerved.
“I’m not afraid, I’m a police officer!” declared Pinkie. She turned her back, and then checked again. The bear gnashed his teeth at her, about two feet away from her face. Pinkie screamed and ran, leaving behind a pool of yellow liquid and one of her numerous saddlebags of candy. The bear took its head off. Rainbow Dash grinned as she bit into a taffy. Sometimes, the best pranks were just sweet.
As she bit in, Dashie looked around. Did that bunny move? No, couldn’t be.
