"Quick question..." Asked Archer. "What does something my father did have anything to do with you going on a suicide mission?"
Dusk leaned back in his chair. "You got a point... Should've waited until Cloud got here for it to make sense."
"Well you did make Palmer's kidnapping sound interesting."
Dusk rolled his eyes. "Then I'm glad you made it."
Cloud walked into the armory and shut the door behind him. He pulled a small black box out of his pocket and tossed it to Dusk. "You're really lucky that I managed to dodge my parents with that."
Dusk opened the box, looking at the small golden ring, topped with a canary diamond. "Then you don't know what type of hell I had to go through to get Dart's ring size." He looked over at Archer and glowered. "This doesn't leave this room, got it?"
Archer nodded. "I don't even know what we're talking about."
"Good kid." Muttered Dusk. "You know if everything is ready for dinner tomorrow?"
Cloud nodded. "Blueblood is just tying up the loose ends with the kitchen staff."
"What about Steeljack and Patch? You know if they'll be there?"
Cloud nodded once more. "They just came through the portal this morning. Blueblood has them set up in the palace while they're here."
"Good... Now, you want to join us?"
Cloud shrugged. "Why not? I'm not doing anything else today."
"Alright then... We were just getting onto the suicide mission."
