Love Tap was sleeping in her bed with her husband Cinnamon Swirl while dreaming of a huge brown monster with a blade revolving around it’s head while screeching a horrible sound...then she met him in pony.
“Mom!” shouted Button Mash at the bedroom door. “Mom!” he said coming inside.
Love Tap just shot open her bloodshot eyes to the sight of her husband sleeping peacefully. “I knew I should have gone with him to that heavy sleeper class,” she grumbled.
“What?” said Button at the hoof of the bed.
“Nothing sweetie,” said Love looking at her son. “Do you need something?”
“Eeyup remember what today is?” said Button with a smile.
Going thru her mind Love Tap’s eyes widened. “It’s your eighth birthday!”
“Eeyu-ahh!” said Button being tackled by his hugging smoth-mother.
“I remember the day you were born,” said Love with a joyful tear. “It was one of the best days of my life.”
“Buck you!” said a sweat ridden Love Tap with her mane clinging tightly to her muzzle. “Buck you and your bucking dick!” she shouted to her husband who was trying to calm her down while the hospital staff was delivering Button. “You did this to me!”
“But Lovey,” said Cinnamon Swirl. “You and I agreed on having another foal-whoa!” he said dodging a syringe.
“Buck you and your memories you baka!” she said in japonese. “I hope you endure a tarutres worst then the bucking pain I feel now!”
“It was a magical day,” signed Love while Button squirmed out of his mother’s arms. “Oh I better get Pinkie Pie to make your birthday party ready!” she said Galloping out of the house to Sugarcube Corner.
“Hey dad?” said Button to his father who had awoken when he felt the sense of pregnancy memories.
“Yes honey?” said Cinnamon Swirl hugging his son.
“Why does mom always go in a dream state when talking about my birth but you get sweaty?” said Button with a tilt.
“Well,” said Cinnamon with a rush of memories to Gibson’s birth.
“You bucking ghwor!” Love growled. “I’ll kill you!” she said to Cinammon who had been taken out of the room after suffering a syringe to the flank.
“Your mother and I had diffrent times that day,” said Cinnamon.
After a few hours the guest to Buttons birthday started showing up.
“Hey Button,” said Rumble who had come with his brother Thunderlane. “Happy birthday!”
“Thanks!” said Button looking outside waiting for a squeaky filly.
“Gibson!” said Thunderlane seeing his friend at the punch table along with his band mates.
“Thunderlane!” said Gibson doing a hoof pump with his friend. “What are you doing here?”
“My mom wanted me to take Rumble here while she and dad went on a trip,” said Thunderlane with a groan looking at Rumble who was talking to Pipsqueak.
“Well nice to see you too,” said Crash.
“Crash and Wave!” said Thunderlane hoof pumping them as well. “How you guys doing? Still playing in a band?”
“Course, music is our life,” said Gibson taking a sip of punch. “And chicks.”
“Speaking of chicks, where are the mares?” said Wave. “Hey Thunderlane are Cloudchaser and her sister coming?”
“Nah, they had to go to the dentists,” said Thunderland with a hint of disappointment.
“On the bright side we got Mrs. Tap,” said Crash.
Groaning at this Gibson said, “Guys don’t tal-”
“One fine mare she is,” said Wave dreaming of things not appropriate for fillies and colts.
“Wave!” said Gibson before hearing something even weirder.
“The things I would do to that hair,” said Cinnamon Swirl taking a bite out of a donut.
“Dad!” said Gibson. “Don’t mention mom-”
“Don’t mention mom what?” said Love Tap glaring at her husband. “And just what would you do with my mane Swirly dear?”
“Umm, brush it?” said Cinnamon with a nervous chuckle.
“Yeah, how about you and Wave and Crash go to basement and bring out some more drinks, hmm?” said Love with a smirk.
“Uh yeah whatever you say milf-I mean Mrs. Tap!” said Crash and Wave before galloping toward the basement with Cinnamon Swirl along with them.
“So,” said Love turning around to her son and Thunderlane. “Gibby could you go help Pinkie with the cake?”
“Uh yeah sure,” said Gibson before leaving.
“So Thunderlane,” said Love to a nervous Thunderlane. “How are you and Cloudchaser doing together?”
“We’re pretty good,” lied Thunderlane.
“Dear I’m a mother I know when ponies lie, what’s going on?” said Love.
Thunderlane just signed. “It’s just that her sister Flitter is well don’t get me wrong she’s nice.”
“But?” said Love.
“Well..”
“Aren’t you just the most adorable little thing!” said Flitter hugging a purple face Rumble. “I could eat you right up!”
“Please don’t,” gasped Rumble. “Can’t breathe!”
“Flitter put Rumble down!” said Cloudchaser as she and a groaning in annoyance Thunderlane sat on the couch watching a movie. “He’s not a toy!”
“But he’s so cuddly like one!” said Flitter.
“And yeah,” said Thunderlane finishing his short story.
“Don’t worry dear, I know when I get near baby foals I get just like that,” said Love patting Thunderlane on the head. “Luckily I have two babies of my own.”
“Honey?” said Cinnamon Swirl from downstairs. “My hoof is stuck in the jar of candy again!”
“Make that three,” said Love with a giggle before heading downstairs. “Coming dear!”
A knock at the door caught the attention of Thunderlane, looking down at Button he said, “So is that Sweetie Belle?”
“Nope just Dinky,” said Button still waiting for his fillyfriend.
Opening the door Thunderlane saw Dinky Doo along with her mother Derpy who was fixing the bowtie of Dr. Time Turner and Carrot Top who just laughed at the sight.
“I said it’s alright!” said Time Turner trying to swipe away Derpy's motherly hoofs.
“No, it’s not I told you should just wear a tie,” said Derpy. “Not a bowtie.”
“Bowties are cool,” said Time with a roll of his eyes. “Oh hi Thunderlane, nice to see you.”
“Hi guys how-woah!” said Thunderlane as Dinky rushed past him.
“Wow!” said Dinky at the amazing party before her. “Hi Button!”
“Hi,” said Button his attention still at the window.
“What are you waiting-” said Dinky before the rush of Button Mash’s form interrupted her.
“Hi Sweetie Belle!” said Button to the filly and her sister who had appeared at the front of the lawn.
“Hi Button!” said Sweetie Belle in a white dress. “Umm, how are you doing?”
“Good,” said Button with a Blush. “And how are you doing?”
“Good,” said Sweetie Belle with a blush as well.
A cough interrupted their “conversation” causing the two foals to look at Rarity.
“Happy birthday Button,” said Rarity with a giggle. “So you're finally eight?”
“Uh yeah so Sweetie Belle?” said Button.
“Yeah?” said Sweetie Belle who was angry at her sister for interrupting her.
“Wanna come inside?”
“Yeah.”
So the three went inside to the sight of the party goers (the elements of harmony, the cmc, some fillies and colts from class and their parents/siblings) inside the house. After a while of playing (which included pin the pink on the pinkie which was more of trying to paint a grey painted Pinkie back to pink but was hard with her laughing from being tickled which turned her pink again) they sung Button his birthday song
“Happy birthday dear Button
Happy birthday to you,” said the crowd to an air filled Button before he blew out the candles to an applause.
“So which gift should I open first?” said Button.
“Mine,” said Gibson planting a small gift in front of his brother.
“Wait!” said Sweetie Belle. “Take mine first!” she said taking out a giant box. “Please?”
“Okay!” said Button ripping it open/
“Remember Button save the wrapping paper,” said Love.
“But I get my heart warming bonus from gift wrap sales,” said Derpy who was quickly cheered up by a hug from Dinky.
“Oh my Celestia!” said Button at the sight before him. “A Pbox one! Thanks Sweetie Belle!”
Blushing at this Sweetie said, “There is something else I can show you inside, but only in private.”
“Oh,” said Button with a knowing smile. “Lets go!” he said as he and Sweetie Belle galloped upstairs with the console and box along with the gibson gift.
“What just happened?” said Applebloom not understanding the urgent situation before them.
“My baby!” said Love galloping upstairs.
“My sister!” said Rarity galloping with her.
“Caw!” said a crow.
“Seriously what is with the crows these days?” said Carrot Top shooing the bird out.
“Calm down honey,” said Cinnamon trying to calm his wife.
“Yeah listen to him Rarity,” said Rainbow Dash. “So Sweetie Belle and Button are alone, what’s the worst that could-”
“It’s so big!” said the muffled voice of Sweetie Belle behind Button’s room door.
“And look at the shine!” said the muffled voice of Button to the four adult horror. “and the magazine from Gibson has so many positions!”
“My sisters innocence!” said Rarity before fainting.
“You're so mature Button!” said Sweetie Belle.”Can I touch your joystick?”
“No!” said Love smashing thru the door.”Stop right-huh?” she said looking at the sight of Sweetie Belle and Button sitting on the floor with the shiny Pbox one out, a game magazine with cheat codes on it, and a video game out.
“Mom!,” said Button putting his joystick away. “Why did you just crash thru my door!”
“I thought umm well,” said Love trying not to turn this into a fact of life talk. “What are you doing?”
“Not playing a mature rated game!” said Sweetie Belle before clamping her mouth shut.
“M rated?” said Cinnamon before looking at the game in question with the title “Ponies Creed United” on it.
“A mature rated Game!” said Love taking the game away. “You're too young for these!”
“We’re sorry,” said Button and Sweetie Belle.
“It’s alright kids,” said Love with a gentler tone. “I buy you a different game later.” And put this one in my shack.
After the upstair fiasco Pinkie decided it was time to dance.
“Hey Button?” said Sweetie Belle blushing even more blusher.
“Yeah?” said Button with a blush.
“Wanna dance?” said Sweetie Belle while rubbing her neck.
“Uh, sure?” said Button before being swept up by Sweetie Belle. “Wait I don’t know how to dance!”
“Just follow me,” said Sweetie Belle putting her neck to Buttons.
“O-okay.”
“Aww,” said Love Tap and Rarity by the table.
“That’d do adorable,” aid Rarity only to hear sniffling. “It's alright Love.”
“I know but my babies are growing up so fast!” said Love blowing a tissue. “Soon they will leave me.”
“Sweetie?” said Cinnamon Swirl from the kitchen. “My hoof is stuck in the pickle jar.”
“Well maybe not all of them,” said Love as she and Rarity giggled.
