(Chris’s POV)
I clicked the button on the screen. I saw the words: Your payment has been accepted. I called Sean to tell him the news.
“Hey Sean, guess what?”
“What?”
“I’m going to Bronycon, and Eilymonty’s gonna be there!”
“Great dude. Sorry, I cant make it, but have a good time”
“Thanks, and OHMIGOSHIMSOEXCIT-“
Then the phone just kinda hang up for some reason. I guess it couldn’t handle that altitude of fanboying.
When I arrived at BronyCon on the last day, I spied Antony and KP, who were talking, together, OH MI GOSH MY SHIPS BECOMING REAL! I raced over and ran into them.
“AHH YOU GUYS ARE CANON”
“AHH!” Shouted KP.
“Where in the world did you come from?” Said Antony.
“Oh, I just saw you guys together and had to see if it was real.”
“You scared me bro” said KP, heavily breating.
“So, are you guys, like, a thing?”
“Ever since Toon Kritic and Eliyora became canon at last year’s BC, people have been expecting all the ships to become real,” Said KP.
“So, we decided to troll are fans and go to the con together,” Said Antony.
“Oh” I said, a little bit disappointed. “Well, I still ship it.” And I made a heart around their faces. I swear, if I could draw better I would make tons of fanart. We all laughed, but through all the laughter, out of the corner of my eye, I saw Eily, walking in the other direction.
“And there’s the other thing I ship.” I pushed Antony as a ran after Eily. As I ran, Antony fell into KP’s arms, and looked into her eyes for the first time.
“Eily! Eily!” I shouted as I sprinted down the hall, excited to see her.
She turned around. “Oh, do you want an autogra- Oh Chris! I thought you were some random fanboy!”
We hugged, and I squeed.
“Well, you certainly are random, and you certainly are a fanboy.”
“Oh, you decided to cosplay too?”
It was just than that I realized that I went as Shining Armour and she went as Princess Cadence. ITS MEANT TO BE.
“Yeah, it looks like were matching.”
“Yeah…”
“Well, I was just heading over to the Bronies React panel, I’m supposed to be in it, wanna come?”
“Oh yeah… Umm… I mean… sure.” I responded as I snapped out of my daze.
“Oh no, it starts in five minutes! C’mon, let’s go.”
We quickly saw ACRacebest getting everyone ready.
“Hey Race!” Shouted Eilymonty.
“Oh hey Eily! Said ACRaceBest. Sorry, I’m a little bit stressed right now. JaxBlade just had to leave the con early, and we need an extra person so the fans don’t, like, murder us or somethi- Hey Chris, you’re a youtuber, right?”
“I’m pretty sure.”
“Well, would you like to be on the panel today? Then we could feature you in the next Bronies React, so our fans wouldn’t think we lied to them.”
“Sure! I said. Being in Bronies React was always a dream of mine, and I was excited to not only be on the panel, but to actually be featured in the next episode. As I daydreamed of all my fantasies, I totally forgot that the panel was starting right now. As the crowds rushed into the room, I quickly sprinted it. “Hey, wait up!”
Sadly, the Bronies React panel was the last panel of the con. I was about to exit, when I saw Antony and KP KISSING by the wall. I casually walked over there. “So, is this trolling too?” They just giggled. A LOT. I was very confused.
“Do you wanna tell him?”
“No, you tell him.”
“Okay, we’ll both tell him.”
“WERE GETTING MARRIED!” They shouted in excitement. Then I did the biggest flippin spit take ever.
“ARE YOU SERIOUS?”
“YEAH! AFTER SPENDING THE DAY TOGETHER, WE REALIZED HOW MUCH WE HAVE IN COMMON! AND THEN ANTONY PROPOSED WITH SOME TACKY DISCORD RING HE FOUND AT THE VENDORS! AND IT HAD DISCORD ON IT! Shouted KP.
“OHMIGOSH OHMIGOSH OHMIGOSH!” I screamed. They then ran off together. This is like, the 3rd ship within the fandom to become a real thing. Now lets see about that, like, the 4th.
The day had finally come. Bronies react was here! I picked up the third Equestria Girls on Blue Ray, and I was all ready to watch it. I think I got some good lines in there, although when Octavia had that singing part, and I started talking about Eily… I hope I didn’t mention my crush… Oh well, I’m probably just overreacting. I sent in the footage and waited for a response.
ACRaceBest was busy editing for the next BC when he saw EilyMonty and Aficionados Chris’s footages arrive in his email. While he was editing, he noticed some… embarrassing clips…
“Welp, better edit those out, wouldn’t want the whole world to see tha-“
“YOU NEVER TOLD ME YOU HAD A SECRET RELATIONSHIP WITH SABERSPARK!” screamed Race’s girlfriend, Sara, as she barged through the door to his office.
“WHAT SECRET RELATIONSHIP?”
“I WAS JUST ON FOUR CHAN-“
“YOU TRUSTED FOUR CHAN FOR ACURATTE INFORMATION?”
“WELL THERES ALSO ALL THEESE FANFICS-“
“YOU TRUSTED FANFICS FOR ACURATTE INFORMATION?”
“WELL THERES ALSO THE WMG PAGE ON TV TROPES-“
“SARA, ALL THE PEOPLE WHO WRITE WMGS ARE ON DRUGS!”
“WELL, THAN I GUESS YOU DIDN’T HAVE A SECRET RELATIONSHIP WITH SABERSPARK!”
“YEAH”
“WHY ARE WE STILL SCREAMING?”
“I HAVE NO IDEA!”
“I GUESS ILL LEAVE NOW!”
“Okay, now where was I- oops, it looks like I accidentally hit the enter button, by accident. Oh well, I was practically done editing anyways… Oh look! A text from SaberSpark!”
I was in my room when I got the email that the new Bronies React was just posted on youtube! I dashed to my computer, and couldn’t wait to check it out! All was going good, until the part where Octavia spoke came up , and my face was suddenly on the screen. I played the clip.
“EilyMonty, I love you.”
I played that clip over and over again. It couldn’t even be true. Race would never do that. It didn’t even make sense in context! But there it was right in front of my face. Literally. I ran to my bedroom and cried. I kept getting calls from Eily, but I didn’t want to answer. Not like this. I never wanted to know her reaction to this.
I eventually gave in and answered the call.
“Eily- I can explain-“
However, she seemed very excited.
“Chris, did you see the new Bronies React?!?”
“Yeah, I saw it…”
“Did you see the ENTIRE thing?”
It was then that I realized I had never taken the time to actually finish watching the episode. I had just stopped it after that one clip, I was too upset to continue.
“No… I guess I didn’t…”
“Well, go watch it! And after you’re done, Skype me. And wear your Shining Armor cosplay too… I have a surprise for you…”
I walked to my computer and pressed play. Turns out all I needed to see was the clip right after mine:
“Aficionados Chris, I love you.”
Then I got into my cosplay as fast as possible, and lept to my computer.
“CHRIS, DID YOU SEE!”
She was in her Cadence cosplay. Is this going where I think its going…
“ YEAH”
“Chris, I have some news… Will you marry me?”
“AHHH YES! YES! YES! 5 BAJILLION YESSES!”
“ I cant believe this is actually happening?
“I KNOW! WELL GET MARRIED AND RUN OFF INTO THE SUNSET AND IT WILL BE JUST LIKE A FAIRY TALE!
“But wait… Your vows aren’t just going to be: Um… CHEEKS! Right?”
“No, of course not…” Crap, now I have to change my vows.
It’s been about two weeks since we decided to get married. I had written out new vows, and I was super excited, when… I got a call from Eily. Normally, this would be a good thing… but when I picked up the phone… she was crying.
“Eily, whats wrong?”
“Well, I’m starting to work on my singing career!”
“Wow, that’s great! Now, why are you crying?”
“Chris… I have to move to England.”
“Its fine! We can still stay together, no matter what countries we’re in!”
“Im just… Im just not sure…”
Eily was packing in her room, when her roommate, Nowacking, walked in.
“So, you’re really leaving?”
“Yeah, but don’t worry, I’ll come back, someday”
“I know, but I was just wondering if you could help me pay the rent. “
They both started laughing.
“It’s sad to see you go.”
“Yeah, I’m going to miss you.
“YOU HURT ME NOW, BUT I WONT CRY, I AM VIIIINYLL SCRATCHHHH!” Sang Nowacking.
They both laughed again.
“Bye, Vinyl.”
“Bye, Octy.”
They both hugged. Now, Eily was far away, and would probably never come back to America any time soon.
A month has passed since we cancelled our wedding. I haven’t been on YouTube since then, it all reminds me of her… But YouTube is my job. And by now my subscribers probably think I’m dead or something. I have to get some content out. I took an idea from a commenter. I searched in my fridge for a while until I found it- a potato. As a wise man once said, if all hope is lost, review a potato. Actually, no one said that. I made it up. Well, I took the potato to my filming room and began filming. I used the least enthusiastic voice possible.
“So, today I am reviewing this potato. Potato how was your day?”
I then spoke as the potato.
“MERMERMERMERMER”
“No, that’s what Charlie brown’s parents say- Okay, this is officially the stupidest thing I have ever done.”
I then had a genius idea. I threw all my Blu Rays into a suitcase and ran as fast as I can to the Airport.
EilyMonty’s new house in England was cluttered with boxes of all sizes, but she had taken one thing out; the picture she kept of Chris.
“Chris…”
However, she was interrupted by the doorbell ringing.
“Wow, my new doorbell sucks- Oh MY Gosh, this cant be happening-“
She had opened the door to find me standing there, outside her doorway, with a bouquet of flowers.
“Is it too late to run into the sunset together, and live happily ever after?”
Then we joined hands and ran together, following the rays of the sun. We had no idea where we are going, but all we knew was that if we are together, everything will be okay.
