Love For Two Special Ponies

The next day, at the school playground in the afternoon.

"Hi Sweetie Belle!" Apple Bloom and Scootaloo greeted.

"Hi girls!" Sweetie said.

"So how was your date with Button yesterday?" Scootaloo asked.

Sweetie Belle blushed at the word date and said,

"It was amazing."

Sweetie Belle turned around and saw Button walking happily towards her. She smiled and waved to him and he said,

"Hi Sweetie Belle!"

"Hi Button Mash!" said Sweetie

They continued to talk while a pony was spying on them in a bush. Diamond Tiara watched as her heart broke in pieces, she was heartbroken and unable to move as her eyes were filled with tears,

"H-how c-could he l-l-love her instead of me?" she said while sobbing.

"She then saw both of them kiss each other on the lips and she looked at Sweetie Belle and thought in her mind,

"I will get him to love me, and I will have to do it by force!"

Meanwhile... back to the two lovebirds,

Apple Bloom and Scootaloo smiled as they saw their best friend kiss the Colt of her dreams. Button Mash then decided to ask Sweetie Belle to be his Special Somepony and said,

"Hey Sweetie Belle, I was wondering if you'd like to-"

"HOLD IT RIGHT THERE! Sweetie Belle!" Diamond Tiara yelled.

Sweetie Belle and Button looked at Diamond Tiara and Sweetie said,

"Can you leave me alone? You bother me everyday!, and its getting on my nerves." Sweetie Belle said.

Diamond Tiara than looked at Button Mash and approached him. Button prepared for what was about to come, he thought that Diamond would attack him, or embarrass him, or do anything to him, until he froze in shock as he realized the most painful moment of his life. Diamond Tiara kissed Button straight on his mouth, Button tried to break free from the kiss, but Diamond Tiara held him in a tight grip. Button was very confused about everything happening all of a sudden. Then he focused his eyes on Sweetie Belle, she had a sad look on her face and he knew that she must've thought that he enjoyed the kiss by not breaking free. Diamond ended the kiss and Button Mash backed away from her and walked towards Sweetie Belle.

"Button? Why?" Sweetie Belle said in a sad tone.

"WAIT PLEASE LET ME EXPLAIN!" he said in panic.

"Explain then!" Sweetie Belle said in an angry voice.

"I didn't kiss her she forced the kiss, I tried to break free, please you have to believe me!" he said

"Oh Button!, want to hang out at my house? " Diamond asked.

Button turned his head in anger and gave Diamond a killer look.

"Wait a minute, Diamond Tiara!, you love him?, you honestly think that he loves you?" Sweetie Belle said.

"Well of course! after all, I'm certain you don't love him either." Diamond said.

"I do too love him!" Sweetie said.

"Alright then, let's have a little wager to make this fair!" Diamond said.

"What's the prize?" Sweetie asked.

"The love for Button Mash, whoever wins the school talent show later today, gets to keep Button Mash, and the loser gets nopony to love!" Diamond said.

Sweetie Belle was confident that she'd win the bet with Diamond and said,

"I accept"

"Very well Sweetie Belle, good luck!" Diamond said.

Diamond Tiara walked away from the group, and Scootaloo said,

"Girls we need to decide what we should do for the talent show tonight!"

"You should sing the song from last time!, The Cutie Mark Crusaders song!" Button Mash said.

"Button Mash, we embarrassed ourselves last time." Sweetie Belle said.

"Well, we could always ask Twilight Sparkle about what we could do to change it!" said Scootaloo

"You guys can go on without me, I got a bunch of homework to do." Button Mash said, as he walked away to his house.

They frowned, knowing Button wasn't coming with them and they ran to Twilight's house. When they got there, they knocked on the door and waited for Twilight to answer the door. Twilight opened the door and smiled as she saw the Crusaders and said,

"Hi girls!"

"Hi Twilight!" they all said.

"What brings you here?" Twilight asked.

"We wanted to perform in the talent show tonight, and we came here to ask you about what we could do to change what we did last year." Scootaloo said.

"Well if your going to do what you did last year, I could give you helpful advice!" Twilight said.

They all followed her into the house and Twilight began to talk,

"Now, last time you all didn't do so well because you didn't have the right parts."

"What do you mean by right parts?" Sweetie Belle asked.

"Well for example, Sweetie Belle you should sing, I've head you sing before , and you have quite a voice, and Scootaloo, you should do the dancing, and Apple Bloom you should do background props." Twilight said.

They all listened to Twilight and took the advice really helpful.

"Now, you should all give it a try! your welcome to practice here if you want, call me over when your ready to perform." Twilight said, as she walked away to do some stuff.

"Ok girls! let's start practicing!" Scootaloo said.

With that said, Sweetie Belle began singing the song, and Scootaloo began dancing. Apple Bloom grabbed stuff to act like the props that they would use in the act. After hours of practicing, they performed it in front of Twilight.

"Wow!, much much better than last time!" Twilight said.

The Crusaders finally thought they were ready, and ran out of the door to the talent show. When they got to the talent show, they went backstage, and saw Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon.

"Hey look! It's the Blank Flanks!" Silver Spoon said.

"It's also Squeaky Belle!" Diamond Tiara said.

"Stop!, why ya'll always gotta call her that?" Apple Bloom asked.

"Because Blank Flank, her voice squeaks and cracks all the time!" Diamond Tiara said.

"My voice doesn't CRACK!" Sweetie Belle yelled, as her voice squeaked when she said the word crack.

The two bullies laughed at her. Sweetie Belle was embarrassed in front of her friends and started to tear up, until Button saw and came up to them,

"Leave her alone!" he yelled.

Sweetie Belle noticed him and smiled at him.

The two bullies turned their heads to see the brown colt.

"Hey look!, it's another Blank Flank!" Silver Spoon said.

Diamond Tiara didn't find it funny one bit and said,

"Hi Button!, I can't wait till you ask me to marry you in the future!"

"NO WAY! I'd rather be with some pony else!" Button yelled.

"Doesn't matter anyway, your not going to win the talent show Sweetie Belle, besides me and Silver Spoon have a special dance act, and it'll be better than yours." Diamond Tiara said.

"Yea right!, I bet it won't even be as good as ours!" Sweetie Belle said.

"Let me guess, your all doing the same routine last time? It was a fantastic act showing the Cutie Mark Crusaders as losers!, no wonder you three don't have any new members." Diamond said harshly.

"Well Diamond Tiara, we're planning on doing it way better than last year!, and it'll probably amaze you." Scootaloo said.

"Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon your next!" Miss Cheerilee announced.

Diamond and Silver went on stage, and performed their act.

"Ugh, just look at them." Sweetie Belle said.

"I know! they chose to do dancing? that's stupid!" Scootaloo said.

"Ya'll ready to perform next?" Apple Bloom said.

"Yea!, and we're going to win!" Sweetie Belle said.

"Hopefully you girls win!, I would hate to go out with her." Button Mash said.

"And who's this Special Somepony of yours?" Scootaloo asked, causing Button and Sweetie to blush.

"Uhh, nopony at all, I don't like anypony!" Button said nervously.

"Suuureee!, we all know who your Special Somepony is!, It's pretty obvious." Scootaloo said.

"Ah think it's Sweetie Belle!" Apple Bloom said.

Button Mash and Sweetie Belle blushed even harder than before.

"Aww, she's blushing!" Scootaloo said.

"And so is he!" Apple Bloom said.

Button then looked at Sweetie Belle and decided it was the perfect time to ask her to be his Special Somepony, but he got interrupted by Miss Cheerilee.

"Girls! your next!" she announced.

"Good luck guys!" Button said.

"Yea good luck failing!" Diamond Tiara said confidently, knowing that she and Silver Spoon were the best.

The Crusaders ignored her and ran on stage. When they were ready to perform, Sweetie Belle wasn't really prepared.

"I didn't know there were this many ponies coming!" Sweetie Belle whispered.

"Just do your part Sweetie Belle, and just pretend nopony is here just like at Twilight's house." Scootaloo whispered.

"Ok girls let's do this!" Apple Bloom whispered.

They all waited for Sweetie Belle to start, but she had terrible stage fright, and thought in her head,

"Oh my Celestia!, everypony in Equestria came!, even Rarity and her friends!"

"Uh Sweetie Belle, are you going to start or what?" Scootaloo asked, waiting impatiently.

"I get terrible stage fright I can't!" Sweetie Belle whispered nervously.

"Just pretend nopony is there, and if ya don't start now we're going to embarrass ourselves!" Apple Bloom whispered.

Sweetie Belle nodded her head and began to sing the song, as Apple Bloom and Scootaloo prepared for their parts to come.

They finished the act, and expected everypony watching to laugh at them again just like last time, but found out that nothing went wrong and all of Ponyville were cheering and clapping. They bowed and went back to Button Mash backstage.

"That was AMAZING!" Button Mash yelled in excitement.

"Yea and good job with the props Apple Bloom! You did much better than Sweetie Belle last time!" Scootaloo complimented.

"Thanks Scoots, and also your dancing was very good! better mine!"  Apple Bloom said.

"Don't forget about my singing!" Sweetie Belle said, trying to make herself sound popular.

"Yea!, whoever knew that you had such an amazing voice!" Button said while blushing while he was thinking of the fact that he loved it when she sang.

"At least you don't have to marry Diamond Tiara!" Scootaloo said.

Button gasped in amazement as he saw their flanks.

"What's wrong Button?" Sweetie Belle asked.

"Y-y-your flanks! you got your Cutie Marks!" he responded shockingly.

They all looked at their flanks and gasped in excitement. After a long time, they finally found their special talents. Sweetie Belle's talent was singing, Scootaloo's was dancing, and Apple Bloom was Carprentry and Building. Diamond Tiara noticed them and she gasped and said,

"WHAT?!?!? YOU GOT YOUR CUTIE MARKS?"

"Yup!, and you can't bully us no more!" Sweetie Belle said happily.

"Well we can't bully you, but at least I get to go out with Button Mash when this is all over!" Diamond said as she walked away with Silver Spoon following her.

Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy spotted them backstage and walked up to them.

"That was so AWESOME!" Rainbow Dash yelled.

"Yea!, that was like a billion trillion million times amazing than anything I've ever seen in my whole life!" Pinkie Pie said.

"See girls!, I told you that this would be a better change!" Twilight Sparkle said.

"Thanks Twilight for helping us!" they all said.

"Ooo!, and you also got your cutie marks!" Fluttershy said.

"Scootaloo what's your special talent?" Rainbow Dash said.

"Umm, dancing, but it's not cool is it?" Scootaloo said in disappointment.

"Not cool?, your talent is dancing!, wether it's cool or not, your still a pretty cool pony to me!" Rainbow Dash said.

Scootaloo smiled at her, and hugged her.

"Nice talent ya got there sugarcube!, your good at repairing stuff and building things!" said Applejack

"Thanks sis!" Apple Bloom said.

"Sweetie Belle! your voice was truly magnificent!, I never knew you could sing better than anypony else in Equestria!" Rarity said.

"Thanks Rarity!" Sweetie Belle said.

"Girls it's time to announce the winners of the talent show!" Miss Cheerilee said.

"Well, I hope you girls win it!" Fluttershy said.

The Crusaders went up on stage next to the other contestants, and Miss Cheerilee began to speak,

"The winner of Ponyville's talent show is!,

After a long silence she said,

The Cutie Mark Crusaders!" she finishes as she gave them three gold medals.

"WHAT?" Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon yelled in shock.

"We won!, we did it girls!" Sweetie Belle said.

"BUT, BUT, HOW?" Diamond Tiara asked.

"We already told ya Diamond!, we're The Cutie Mark Crusaders!, we always win!" Apple Bloom said.

Diamond Tiara ran away in tears fleeing from the place, and Silver Spoon ran after her friend.

"Diamond Tiara don't feel bad!" Silver Spoon said so that she could cheer up her best friend.

"How can I not feel bad Silver Spoon?, I just lost the Colt of my dreams to that Squeaking Brat!" Diamond Tiara said.

"Well, what about that Colt over there?" Silver Spoon said.

She was pointing to a gray Pegasus pony who had purple eyes and a black and gray mane.

Diamond looked at the Colt and waved at him. He noticed her, and waved back to her happily. She walked up to him and said,

"Hi!"

"Hi!" the Colt said.

"I'm Diamond Tiara."

"My names Rumble!"

"Diamond I'll just head home, bye!"

Silver Spoon said, knowing what her friend was going to do with the Colt.

She walked away from the two ponies.

"Soo, I was wondering Diamond Tiara." Rumble said.

"What is it Rumble?" she asked.

"Do you want to be my Special Somepony?, I mean I don't have anypony for Hearts and Hooves Day tomorrow and-" he didn't get to finish his sentence as he realized that Diamond Tiara kissed him. When she ended it she said,

"Yes, I'd love to!"

Rumble smiled at her and took her hoove into his a nd took her to Sugarcube Corner.

MEANWHILE...

The Crusaders went back to the Clubhouse for a sleepover, and invited Button Mash to come over. Scootaloo and Apple Bloom were asleep, while Button Mash and Sweetie Belle were awake sleeping next to each other.

"Hey Sweetie Belle?" Button whispered.

"Yes Button?" Sweetie Belle whispered.

"I don't have anypony for Hearts and Hooves day tomorrow, so I was wondering if y-y-you'd like to be my Special Somepony?" he asked.

Sweetie Belle has been waiting forever for him to say that to her, and said,

"Button Mash!, YES, I'D LOVE TO!" she said while hugging him tightly.

"Are you crying?" he asked.

"No, it's just, tears of happiness, I always had a crush on you since the first day of school!" she responded.

Button smiled at her, and kissed her. When the kiss ended, they both held each others hooves and fell asleep together.
