Not so much for Button Mash, all he wanted was for the day to come to an end. You see, he began his day like any other; wake up, take a bath, eat breakfast, and play video games, but as fate would have it, his mother didn't want him spending all of his time in the house. As a result he was forced to go outside and do something "productive". This resulted in yet another argument with his mother about not having anything to do, but as usual he lost, was tossed outside, and is left off with his mother yelling after him, "Don't forget to be back by dark sweetie!" This is where the story begins, Button Mash sitting on a bench and moping around thinking about how miserable his life was, he didn't even have his portable Joyboy. Several hours later, Button decided to go to Sugarcube Corner to get something to eat. "Might as well get something to eat while I'm out." he thought to himself, as he got off the bench. He slowly walked his way towards the restaurant in a grumpy mood, until something went flying past him making him stop dead in his tracks watching it leave his line of sight. "Phew that was close." he said. He started off trotting again, until another object hit him hard making him and the object tumble backwards. "Ouch! what in the name of Celestia was that?" he said. "Button?" said a familiar voice. "Oh no it can't be...not her! Of all of the possible ponies to bump into at a time like this…." he thought. Button opened his eyes to see two great big, beautiful, lime-green eyes staring at him. "Uhhhh, Sweetie Belle?" He could feel his face starting to turn red. "She's so close to my muzzle, it's so embarrassing." Sweetie Belle started to make that wonderful smile of hers, when she realized how close she was to Button. "Oh…heehee." she said. Her face turning a bright shade of red as well. "Sorry Button, me and the other crusaders were trying to get a racing cutie mark, but I guess I just lost control of my scooter." She slowly climbed off of him. "As embarrassing as it is, I kinda wish she hadn't realized how close she was." Button thought. While he started to get up on all fours, he started to feel a large amount of pain on his left front hoof. "W-whoa!" He couldn't quite get his balance, and the pain caused him to walk. He clumsily tried walking over to a park bench to rest his hoof, but he just couldn't manage it on his own. "Here, let me help you out." Sweetie suggested as she tried holding down a giggle. "I-I think I can manage-" He started to protest, but soon found it easier to walk as he felt Sweetie press her self up against him so he could find his balance. "W-whoa, this is really awkward...but at the same time feels kinda alright." He looked at Sweetiebelle at his side, but as soon as she looked back at him with her beautiful emerald colored eyes, he started to blush and looked away quickly hoping Sweetie Belle wouldn't see his blushing face. "Seriously just my luck, one the most beautiful fillies in Ponyville just had to ram into me when I'm having a bad day." As soon as the pair reached the bench, Button weakly got up and sat down on it. "So uh sorry about running into you like that. I guess racing isn't my special talent after all." She smiled shyly. "I-its alright, I guess…Not like I was headed anywhere in particular." Button lied. He didn't want to make her feel any worse, though he was starting to think of how he could turn this whole thing around to his advantage. "I'm feeling kinda hungry." Button decided he was going to take this chance to at least make the day worth all of the annoyances. Sweetie Belle looked at Button in thought, "I guess it is getting close to lunch time…" She looked at the ground with a frown. "But I don't have any bits and I don't want to just leave you here after making you hurt your hoof even if it's just to go and get some money…" she continued. She kicked the ground a little embarrassed. Button lifted his head and smiled. "Great, this could be my chance." He thought with excitement. "Well you don't have to pay, I have plenty to cover the expenses for both meals, and we can get whatever you want." Sweetie Belle looked up at him still frowning. "But that would be worse than me going home to get the money and leaving you here….like adding insult to injury." Button frowned thinking of this fact and said, "But wait…" He once again smiled then said, "I will need help getting to a restaurant, or my house...If you help me get to a place with food and maybe home then it will be just like payment." Sweetie Belle looked at him in thought for a moment. "Alright that would work I guess." She smiled and looked at Button with those big, beautiful, lime-green colored eyes. The two had left the park bench to get to the fast food joint and to Button, it was the best time of his life. He and Sweetie had leaned against each other to give him support. It felt amazing to not only have the warmth of a filly press against him for the first time in his life, but it also felt amazing to actually hold an interesting and ongoing conversation with one. It felt like only seconds for Button when they got to the restaurant. "I think I can manage walking on my own now… I don't think that I got injured too badly." He felt the warmth fade as Sweetie stopped leaning on him. It made him feel a bit sad, but he knew he wouldn't have been able to keep it going forever no matter how badly he wanted it to. As he started to move forward he stepped on the hoof carefully, even such a small amount of pressure sent the feeling of pins and needles through his whole leg. After standing there for a bit, almost blinded by pain it began to subside as Sweetie called his name with a worried look, "Button are you sure you can make?" He breathed in deeply and said, "This is going to hurt." He looked back attempting a smile. "Yes I can manage." He said as he started awkwardly walking towards the doors of the building before them. The two entered the building and approached the counter. "Hello and welcome to Pete's Hay House, what would the lovely young couple like to have to have today?" Button and Sweetie both blushed at the word "Couple". It was embarrassing to hear that, as Button knew he wanted nothing more but to ask Sweetie out, but he knew he'd get rejected instantly. "U-uh she'll be ordering first and I'll be paying for our meal later." Button said. "Alright kid" the employee said, as he was giving a small smirk at the young ponies. Sweetie looked up at the employee, still blushing as she ordered the food, "Uh, I would like to have the double pony combo please." She smiled, looking at Button with a cross between a sly and seductive face. "W-wait is she?..." Button's entire face turned a bright pink after seeing this, and quickly turned to the employee. "Uh I don't think I want anything…" he said. The employee smirked trying desperately to hold down a chuckle and said, "Alrighty then!, here's your number, go and find a table, and when the food is ready, it'll be brought out." Button took the number still burning bright pink. *POV change* (Sweetie Belle) "So cute…" Sweetie Belle thought. "He's still a pretty sheltered kid, even after having been in this town so long, he doesn't have a single friend…Let's change that." "I'm so glad you decided you would help me finish this meal, I don't think I could do it on my own." Sweetie gave a huge smile at this. "Uh thanks." Button said as his face turned a darker shade of red. "I'm just glad I got the hint…" Button flinched stepping on the injured hoof. I'm Sweetie looked at it, and said, "Yeah that's definitely not ok, It's so adorable to think that he's trying to play it tough for me, But let's test it shall we?" Sweetie made a worried face after the quote she made. "Are you sure you don't need a doctor? I mean I think it's sweet that you wanna do this even though I still feel like you shouldn't because I don't deserve it, but I think you shouldn't because I don't want you to push yourself." Sweetie said. The two found a table and sat down. As they did,Button looked like he was about to say something, but the food was brought out at that moment. "Here you go, enjoy!" the Waiter said. *POV change* (Button Mash] The two ate happily while continuing their discussion. After what felt like ages to Button they finished and he finally got to pay. As the young two ponies walked out of the dining room, they heard two voices, one being Apple Bloom calling over to Sweetie, "Howdy SweetieBelle! We've been looking for ya every where. Where ya been?" The other being Buttons mom calling out to him, "Sweetie!, I completely forgot to ask you when you would be coming home for dinner, so I decided I would come looking for you, but it looks like you're having a good time with your little filly-friend there...Sorry if I  interrupted anything." Button was completely burning up with embarrassment by now and said, "N-no mom I was just about to walk Sweetie Belle home." He turned to Sweetie who was giving Him a sly grin, and then turned back to her friends and yelled. "Don't worry girls I'll explain later, but give me a moment…" She leaned in really close and whispered "Thank you for the nice supper and pleasant talk." She then kissed him on the cheek and started trotting down the street. "U-uh mom?" Button asked. "Yes honey?" Button's mom replied." "I think I have a crush!" he said excitingly. Button's mom smiled at him and said, "Looks like my little Colt is growing up!" //-------------------------------------------------------// School Trouble //-------------------------------------------------------// School Trouble It was Monday, and Button Mash was walking to school happily, when he got there, he searched for Sweetie Belle and her friends. POV change: (Diamond Tiara) "Right there! there he is Silver Spoon! the Colt of my dreams." "Him? why? he doesn't even got his cutie mark yet!" Silver Spoon said. "So what, Cutie Mark or no Cutie Mark, he's the Colt that I love!" I said I looked at where he was going, and I instantly froze in shock as I saw him... Talking to the Blank Flanks that I make fun of everyday. POV change: (Button Mash) "Hiya girls!" I said "Hi Button!" the 3 fillies greeted. I looked at Sweetie Belle and instantly blushed from seeing her beautiful pink and purple mane, and her perfect emerald eyes. After a long period of silence, I noticed her blushing, then I asked her, "Hey Sweetie Belle, do you want to play on our laptops at your place after school today?" Sweetie Belle then said, "As a d-d-date?" I instantly blushed harder than before and instantly panicked, "NO NO no no no! not as a date, I meant like hangout?" "Of course Button Mash! I'd love too!" she said POV change: (Diamond Tiara) Diamond Tiara had a look of jealousy on her face, and quickly walked over to interrupt them, "Hi Button!" Diamond Tiara greeted. "Uh hi?" Button said, feeling confused knowing that he's never saw this pony ever in his life. "I was wondering if you'd like to come sit with me at lunch!" Diamond Tiara asked. "Umm, ok I guess." Button said. Diamond Tiara and Sweetie Belle gave each other dirty glances. "Well anyways, see you at lunch Button!" Diamond said. Diamond Tiara walked back to Silver Spoon and said, "Now if my plan works perfectly he'll love me instead of that squeaking brat." Diamond said. "What if he and Sweetie Belle become a couple today?" asked Silver Spoon "Easy, I have a plan B!" said Diamond The school bell rang and all of the Colts and Fillys from the playground all ran inside the school. Miss Cheerilee had arranged a seating chart and began telling everypony where their seat was, "I hope I get to sit next to you girls! and also Button Mash!" said Sweetie Belle Scootaloo and Apple Bloom instantly noticed what their friend felt about Button. "Yah got a crush on him don't ya?" asked Apple Bloom "WHAT? don't be crazy! I would never have a crush on Button, he's just my friend." said Sweetie "Sweetie Belle it's pretty obvious that you have a crush on him!" said Scootaloo Sweetie Belle blushed and Scootaloo and Apple Bloom noticed and sang, "Sweetie Belle and Button Mash! Sitting in a tree! K-I-S-S-I-N-G, First comes love! Then comes marriage then comes a-" "ALRIGHT ALRIGHT! I GET IT!" said Sweetie Belle Miss Cheerilee finished calling out the seating chart and luckily enough, Sweetie Belle sat in front of Button Mash. "Yes! Silver Spoon, we get to sit next to each other! and also I get to sit behind Button!" Diamond Tiara said. "Good for you! and do I care? NO!"  Silver Spoon said. "Why the attitude?" Diamond Tiara asked. "I have a feeling your not going to date Button and also, he probably likes Sweetie Belle more than you!" Silver Spoon said. "Fine then, continue pouting your just jealous cause you can't date anypony in our class!" Diamond said. "Well good luck!" Silver Spoon said. "I don't need luck, watch I got this." Diamond Tiara said. Silver Spoon rolled her eyes and payed attention to what Miss Cheerilee was teaching as Diamond was thinking of evil plans to win Button's heart. The lunch bell rang and Diamond Tiara was waiting for Button to sit with her, until her heart broke in half when she saw that he was hanging out with Sweetie Belle than her. A tear fell from Diamond Tiara's face, and she was instantly filled with rage, then thought in her head, "Sweetie Belle, your going to pay, and I just came up with the best and most evil plan that I've ever created!" said Diamond POV change: (Button Mash) "Sweetie Belle! I was wondering." Button said. "Come on Button! Just ask her to be your Special Somepony, ARGHH I can't do it, I'll have to do it when the time comes." "Yes Button?" Sweetie Belle asked. "Oh, uhh nothing!" said Button as he was nervously shaking violently. Scootaloo and Apple Bloom looked at both of them and said, "Aww! Looks like they need some private time!" Apple Bloom and Scootaloo both got out of their seats and walked torwards the playground. "Oh my Celestia! They left me alone with my crush? Ok Sweetie Belle you got this, just act good enough just to encourage him to ask you to be his Special Somepony." Sweetie thought "Sooo... Ready for today!" Button asked. "You bet!" Sweetie Belle said. They both continued their conversation as Diamond Tiara grew more furious as the jealousy in her heart was beginning to rise drastically. "By the way! I brought my two Joyboys so we could play together during Recess." said Button "Aww you brought one just for me?" asked Sweetie Belle Button nodded his head and Sweetie Belle blushed and hugged him, Button's face was as red as a tomato when the hug ended, and he smiled at Sweetie Belle and she smiled at him. After playing together at Recess, the school bell rang again and it was the end of school. Button Mash and Sweetie Belle both walked together on their so called "hangout" to play together on their laptops. They finally reached Sweetie's house and she got her computer and opened it up, Button realized that he had forgotten his laptop at his house and said, "I uhh forgot my laptop at home, I can get it and come right back." "Can I come with you? just in case, you might get lonely?" asked Sweetie. “Of course! C’mon!” and the two little ponies galloped side by side towards Button’s house. When they got to his house, they began searching for his laptop. “Check in the kitchen!” he called from the living room. Sweetie Belle ran in there, and checked everywhere, Nothing. She heard noises coming from his parent’s room, and she peeked her head around the corner. Button Mash was checking under the bed, and in the drawers of his parent’s dresser. Then a certain item caught his eye. He quickly grabbed the mustache, and slapped it onto his muzzle, gazing at it in the mirror. Sweetie Belle giggled, and walked in. She looked around. His parents had a beautiful room. With the lavender-purple walls, the green bed frame with gray-purple sheets and blankets, and the closet. Sweetie Belle always liked to see Mrs. Mash wear dresses that Rarity designed. She opened the closet door to look at all her beautiful dresses. There was a whole rainbow of colors to choose from. But one certain dress caught Sweetie’s eye. A gorgeous white one with lacy trim, and pearls lining the collar. It had a very long train of fabric in the back. Sweetie Belle recognized her sister’s handiwork, and marveled at it for a bit longer before she turned around to ask about it, “What dress is this?” Button turned around, and looked at it, “Thats my mom’s wedding dress... I think.” Sweetie turned around to gaze at it again. She took it off the hanger, and put it on. It was a bit big, but it looked beautiful next to her beautiful pink-and-purple mane. She turned around for Button Mash to see. When she showed him, his jaw dropped. She was the most beautiful pony he had ever seen. She blushed, and giggled, as she pointed at his mustache. He laughed nervously, and took it off. Then she looked on his  father’s side of the closet. She found the tuxedo that his father probably wore on his wedding day also. She called Button over, and showed him the tux, “Wanna play wedding?” He smiled, and grabbed the tux, trying to put it on. Sweetie Belle looked at him fondly, then turned her head towards the dresser. She saw Mrs. Mash’s makeup kit. Sweetie couldn’t resist. She hopped up on the ottoman, and put on mascara, lipstick, and perfume. When she turned  around, she saw Button dressed in the tux, slathering his father’s hair-gel in his mane. She couldn’t help but giggle as he tried to spray the cologne, but ended up spraying some in his eyes. Once they were all dressed up, Button knelt down on one hoof and mockingly said, “Sweetie Belle, will you marry me?” She blushed, and giggled, “Yes!” Then Button stood up, took her hoof in his, and pretended to “walk down the aisle” with her, which was just walking down the length of the bedroom. When they got to the wall, he took his mother’s wedding ring, and slid it delicately onto Sweetie Belle’s horn. Then they stopped and stared at each other. Button looked at her nervously and said, “Are we going to do this?” She blushed bright red and responded, “I guess we have to.” The two ponies leaned in, and kissed. Each of their hearts were racing, and they were both blushing bloodred when they finally broke apart. Sweetie and Button looked at each other. They had both enjoyed the kiss very much. Then, without words, Sweetie Belle kissed him again, making it last several seconds before she broke away. The two little ponies looked at each other, and finally Button spoke up, "Sweetie, I- I...” he stopped. She smiled and began to take her makeup off, “C’mon, lets get out of these clothes and get some milkshakes from SugarCube Corner.” He nodded, and put his head under the bathtub faucet, to rinsed the gel from his mane. He then shook it dry, and added his propeller hat to complete the look. Then he and Sweetie Belle walked side by side towards SugarCube Corner together. When they got to SugarCube Corner, and ordered their milkshakes, they just sat there, hugging each other, with Sweetie Belle’s head resting in the crook of his neck. Both of their eyes were closed, they were just savoring the moment. When the milkshakes were ready and placed on the table, the ponies were kissing again, paying no attention to their drinks. Button reached up while they were still kissing, and stroked Sweetie’s soft mane, then brought his hoof down to her face, and caressed it, memorizing every detail of her delicate jaw. When they broke away, Sweetie Belle was bright red again. Button loved it when she blushed. Just then, Pinkie Pie burst through the door, “Hey, Sweetie Belle! Hi, Button Mash!” “Hi Pinkie!” replied both ponies. The pink mare was running around in excitement, “I would love to stay and chat, but Rainbow Dash says that she’s been spying on Cranky, and she wants to prank him and Matilda!!!” she began to laugh, “It’ll be great!!! See ya later!” and with that, she was off. Button and Sweetie Belle just sat next to each other in silence. Button lost track of time and noticed how much time has passed and said, "Well, it's been fun Sweetie Belle, I have to go, my mother would kill me if I'm not home before 6:00, bye!" Before he could rush out the door, Sweetie Belle stopped him and said, "Button, do you like me?" Button froze in shock, and blushed hard. After a long silence he said, "Yes." Sweetie Belle smiled at him and hugged him. She waved bye to him, and she cherished every moment of spending the day with him. //-------------------------------------------------------// The Bet //-------------------------------------------------------// The Bet The next day, at the school playground in the afternoon. "Hi Sweetie Belle!" Apple Bloom and Scootaloo greeted. "Hi girls!" Sweetie said. "So how was your date with Button yesterday?" Scootaloo asked. Sweetie Belle blushed at the word date and said, "It was amazing." Sweetie Belle turned around and saw Button walking happily towards her. She smiled and waved to him and he said, "Hi Sweetie Belle!" "Hi Button Mash!" said Sweetie They continued to talk while a pony was spying on them in a bush. Diamond Tiara watched as her heart broke in pieces, she was heartbroken and unable to move as her eyes were filled with tears, "H-how c-could he l-l-love her instead of me?" she said while sobbing. "She then saw both of them kiss each other on the lips and she looked at Sweetie Belle and thought in her mind, "I will get him to love me, and I will have to do it by force!" Meanwhile... back to the two lovebirds, Apple Bloom and Scootaloo smiled as they saw their best friend kiss the Colt of her dreams. Button Mash then decided to ask Sweetie Belle to be his Special Somepony and said, "Hey Sweetie Belle, I was wondering if you'd like to-" "HOLD IT RIGHT THERE! Sweetie Belle!" Diamond Tiara yelled. Sweetie Belle and Button looked at Diamond Tiara and Sweetie said, "Can you leave me alone? You bother me everyday!, and its getting on my nerves." Sweetie Belle said. Diamond Tiara than looked at Button Mash and approached him. Button prepared for what was about to come, he thought that Diamond would attack him, or embarrass him, or do anything to him, until he froze in shock as he realized the most painful moment of his life. Diamond Tiara kissed Button straight on his mouth, Button tried to break free from the kiss, but Diamond Tiara held him in a tight grip. Button was very confused about everything happening all of a sudden. Then he focused his eyes on Sweetie Belle, she had a sad look on her face and he knew that she must've thought that he enjoyed the kiss by not breaking free. Diamond ended the kiss and Button Mash backed away from her and walked towards Sweetie Belle. "Button? Why?" Sweetie Belle said in a sad tone. "WAIT PLEASE LET ME EXPLAIN!" he said in panic. "Explain then!" Sweetie Belle said in an angry voice. "I didn't kiss her she forced the kiss, I tried to break free, please you have to believe me!" he said "Oh Button!, want to hang out at my house? " Diamond asked. Button turned his head in anger and gave Diamond a killer look. "Wait a minute, Diamond Tiara!, you love him?, you honestly think that he loves you?" Sweetie Belle said. "Well of course! after all, I'm certain you don't love him either." Diamond said. "I do too love him!" Sweetie said. "Alright then, let's have a little wager to make this fair!" Diamond said. "What's the prize?" Sweetie asked. "The love for Button Mash, whoever wins the school talent show later today, gets to keep Button Mash, and the loser gets nopony to love!" Diamond said. Sweetie Belle was confident that she'd win the bet with Diamond and said, "I accept" "Very well Sweetie Belle, good luck!" Diamond said. Diamond Tiara walked away from the group, and Scootaloo said, "Girls we need to decide what we should do for the talent show tonight!" "You should sing the song from last time!, The Cutie Mark Crusaders song!" Button Mash said. "Button Mash, we embarrassed ourselves last time." Sweetie Belle said. "Well, we could always ask Twilight Sparkle about what we could do to change it!" said Scootaloo "You guys can go on without me, I got a bunch of homework to do." Button Mash said, as he walked away to his house. They frowned, knowing Button wasn't coming with them and they ran to Twilight's house. When they got there, they knocked on the door and waited for Twilight to answer the door. Twilight opened the door and smiled as she saw the Crusaders and said, "Hi girls!" "Hi Twilight!" they all said. "What brings you here?" Twilight asked. "We wanted to perform in the talent show tonight, and we came here to ask you about what we could do to change what we did last year." Scootaloo said. "Well if your going to do what you did last year, I could give you helpful advice!" Twilight said. They all followed her into the house and Twilight began to talk, "Now, last time you all didn't do so well because you didn't have the right parts." "What do you mean by right parts?" Sweetie Belle asked. "Well for example, Sweetie Belle you should sing, I've head you sing before , and you have quite a voice, and Scootaloo, you should do the dancing, and Apple Bloom you should do background props." Twilight said. They all listened to Twilight and took the advice really helpful. "Now, you should all give it a try! your welcome to practice here if you want, call me over when your ready to perform." Twilight said, as she walked away to do some stuff. "Ok girls! let's start practicing!" Scootaloo said. With that said, Sweetie Belle began singing the song, and Scootaloo began dancing. Apple Bloom grabbed stuff to act like the props that they would use in the act. After hours of practicing, they performed it in front of Twilight. "Wow!, much much better than last time!" Twilight said. The Crusaders finally thought they were ready, and ran out of the door to the talent show. When they got to the talent show, they went backstage, and saw Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon. "Hey look! It's the Blank Flanks!" Silver Spoon said. "It's also Squeaky Belle!" Diamond Tiara said. "Stop!, why ya'll always gotta call her that?" Apple Bloom asked. "Because Blank Flank, her voice squeaks and cracks all the time!" Diamond Tiara said. "My voice doesn't CRACK!" Sweetie Belle yelled, as her voice squeaked when she said the word crack. The two bullies laughed at her. Sweetie Belle was embarrassed in front of her friends and started to tear up, until Button saw and came up to them, "Leave her alone!" he yelled. Sweetie Belle noticed him and smiled at him. The two bullies turned their heads to see the brown colt. "Hey look!, it's another Blank Flank!" Silver Spoon said. Diamond Tiara didn't find it funny one bit and said, "Hi Button!, I can't wait till you ask me to marry you in the future!" "NO WAY! I'd rather be with some pony else!" Button yelled. "Doesn't matter anyway, your not going to win the talent show Sweetie Belle, besides me and Silver Spoon have a special dance act, and it'll be better than yours." Diamond Tiara said. "Yea right!, I bet it won't even be as good as ours!" Sweetie Belle said. "Let me guess, your all doing the same routine last time? It was a fantastic act showing the Cutie Mark Crusaders as losers!, no wonder you three don't have any new members." Diamond said harshly. "Well Diamond Tiara, we're planning on doing it way better than last year!, and it'll probably amaze you." Scootaloo said. "Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon your next!" Miss Cheerilee announced. Diamond and Silver went on stage, and performed their act. "Ugh, just look at them." Sweetie Belle said. "I know! they chose to do dancing? that's stupid!" Scootaloo said. "Ya'll ready to perform next?" Apple Bloom said. "Yea!, and we're going to win!" Sweetie Belle said. "Hopefully you girls win!, I would hate to go out with her." Button Mash said. "And who's this Special Somepony of yours?" Scootaloo asked, causing Button and Sweetie to blush. "Uhh, nopony at all, I don't like anypony!" Button said nervously. "Suuureee!, we all know who your Special Somepony is!, It's pretty obvious." Scootaloo said. "Ah think it's Sweetie Belle!" Apple Bloom said. Button Mash and Sweetie Belle blushed even harder than before. "Aww, she's blushing!" Scootaloo said. "And so is he!" Apple Bloom said. Button then looked at Sweetie Belle and decided it was the perfect time to ask her to be his Special Somepony, but he got interrupted by Miss Cheerilee. "Girls! your next!" she announced. "Good luck guys!" Button said. "Yea good luck failing!" Diamond Tiara said confidently, knowing that she and Silver Spoon were the best. The Crusaders ignored her and ran on stage. When they were ready to perform, Sweetie Belle wasn't really prepared. "I didn't know there were this many ponies coming!" Sweetie Belle whispered. "Just do your part Sweetie Belle, and just pretend nopony is here just like at Twilight's house." Scootaloo whispered. "Ok girls let's do this!" Apple Bloom whispered. They all waited for Sweetie Belle to start, but she had terrible stage fright, and thought in her head, "Oh my Celestia!, everypony in Equestria came!, even Rarity and her friends!" "Uh Sweetie Belle, are you going to start or what?" Scootaloo asked, waiting impatiently. "I get terrible stage fright I can't!" Sweetie Belle whispered nervously. "Just pretend nopony is there, and if ya don't start now we're going to embarrass ourselves!" Apple Bloom whispered. Sweetie Belle nodded her head and began to sing the song, as Apple Bloom and Scootaloo prepared for their parts to come. They finished the act, and expected everypony watching to laugh at them again just like last time, but found out that nothing went wrong and all of Ponyville were cheering and clapping. They bowed and went back to Button Mash backstage. "That was AMAZING!" Button Mash yelled in excitement. "Yea and good job with the props Apple Bloom! You did much better than Sweetie Belle last time!" Scootaloo complimented. "Thanks Scoots, and also your dancing was very good! better mine!"  Apple Bloom said. "Don't forget about my singing!" Sweetie Belle said, trying to make herself sound popular. "Yea!, whoever knew that you had such an amazing voice!" Button said while blushing while he was thinking of the fact that he loved it when she sang. "At least you don't have to marry Diamond Tiara!" Scootaloo said. Button gasped in amazement as he saw their flanks. "What's wrong Button?" Sweetie Belle asked. "Y-y-your flanks! you got your Cutie Marks!" he responded shockingly. They all looked at their flanks and gasped in excitement. After a long time, they finally found their special talents. Sweetie Belle's talent was singing, Scootaloo's was dancing, and Apple Bloom was Carprentry and Building. Diamond Tiara noticed them and she gasped and said, "WHAT?!?!? YOU GOT YOUR CUTIE MARKS?" "Yup!, and you can't bully us no more!" Sweetie Belle said happily. "Well we can't bully you, but at least I get to go out with Button Mash when this is all over!" Diamond said as she walked away with Silver Spoon following her. Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy spotted them backstage and walked up to them. "That was so AWESOME!" Rainbow Dash yelled. "Yea!, that was like a billion trillion million times amazing than anything I've ever seen in my whole life!" Pinkie Pie said. "See girls!, I told you that this would be a better change!" Twilight Sparkle said. "Thanks Twilight for helping us!" they all said. "Ooo!, and you also got your cutie marks!" Fluttershy said. "Scootaloo what's your special talent?" Rainbow Dash said. "Umm, dancing, but it's not cool is it?" Scootaloo said in disappointment. "Not cool?, your talent is dancing!, wether it's cool or not, your still a pretty cool pony to me!" Rainbow Dash said. Scootaloo smiled at her, and hugged her. "Nice talent ya got there sugarcube!, your good at repairing stuff and building things!" said Applejack "Thanks sis!" Apple Bloom said. "Sweetie Belle! your voice was truly magnificent!, I never knew you could sing better than anypony else in Equestria!" Rarity said. "Thanks Rarity!" Sweetie Belle said. "Girls it's time to announce the winners of the talent show!" Miss Cheerilee said. "Well, I hope you girls win it!" Fluttershy said. The Crusaders went up on stage next to the other contestants, and Miss Cheerilee began to speak, "The winner of Ponyville's talent show is!, After a long silence she said, The Cutie Mark Crusaders!" she finishes as she gave them three gold medals. "WHAT?" Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon yelled in shock. "We won!, we did it girls!" Sweetie Belle said. "BUT, BUT, HOW?" Diamond Tiara asked. "We already told ya Diamond!, we're The Cutie Mark Crusaders!, we always win!" Apple Bloom said. Diamond Tiara ran away in tears fleeing from the place, and Silver Spoon ran after her friend. "Diamond Tiara don't feel bad!" Silver Spoon said so that she could cheer up her best friend. "How can I not feel bad Silver Spoon?, I just lost the Colt of my dreams to that Squeaking Brat!" Diamond Tiara said. "Well, what about that Colt over there?" Silver Spoon said. She was pointing to a gray Pegasus pony who had purple eyes and a black and gray mane. Diamond looked at the Colt and waved at him. He noticed her, and waved back to her happily. She walked up to him and said, "Hi!" "Hi!" the Colt said. "I'm Diamond Tiara." "My names Rumble!" "Diamond I'll just head home, bye!" Silver Spoon said, knowing what her friend was going to do with the Colt. She walked away from the two ponies. "Soo, I was wondering Diamond Tiara." Rumble said. "What is it Rumble?" she asked. "Do you want to be my Special Somepony?, I mean I don't have anypony for Hearts and Hooves Day tomorrow and-" he didn't get to finish his sentence as he realized that Diamond Tiara kissed him. When she ended it she said, "Yes, I'd love to!" Rumble smiled at her and took her hoove into his a nd took her to Sugarcube Corner. MEANWHILE... The Crusaders went back to the Clubhouse for a sleepover, and invited Button Mash to come over. Scootaloo and Apple Bloom were asleep, while Button Mash and Sweetie Belle were awake sleeping next to each other. "Hey Sweetie Belle?" Button whispered. "Yes Button?" Sweetie Belle whispered. "I don't have anypony for Hearts and Hooves day tomorrow, so I was wondering if y-y-you'd like to be my Special Somepony?" he asked. Sweetie Belle has been waiting forever for him to say that to her, and said, "Button Mash!, YES, I'D LOVE TO!" she said while hugging him tightly. "Are you crying?" he asked. "No, it's just, tears of happiness, I always had a crush on you since the first day of school!" she responded. Button smiled at her, and kissed her. When the kiss ended, they both held each others hooves and fell asleep together. //-------------------------------------------------------// The Last Day //-------------------------------------------------------// The Last Day Two years later... Button Mash and Sweetie Belle were still dating and were both 10 years old, Ponyville was still the same as usual. The Crusaders were in the treehouse trying to figure out what to do. Things changed over the past 2 years, they didn't find any fun activities to do since they've gotten their cutie marks two years ago. "I'm so bored! there's absolutely nothing that we can do today!" Scootaloo complained. "I might as well hangout with Button Mash if we can't think of anything to do." Sweetie Belle replied. Apple Bloom and Scootaloo looked at each other and frowned, then looked back at Sweetie Belle. "He's moving the day after tomorrow." Scootaloo sighed. Sweetie Belle froze in shock, and galloped out the Cutie Mark Crusader clubhouse as fast as she could. It can't be true! It just can't be! Sweetie Belle thought to herself. "Button!" She galloped up to his house and saw him sitting outside his house. "Hi, Sweetie Belle..." Button said, glumly. "The rumors aren't true... are they...?" "Afraid so, Sweetie Belle, my dad got a new job in Manehattan. We have to move." Sweetie Belle started crying. Button hugged her. "Hey, it's ok, we'll see each other again!. Here, I want you to have this." Button said. She wiped her eyes and looked. It was a necklace and the pendant was a Minecraft Diamond. "Button..." she sniffled as Button put it on her. "We still have today. Sweetie Belle, our anniversary is coming up, and since it's our last day. Maybe we could spend the day together before I leave." Button smiled. "I... I just want this last day..." saying that killed her, "... to be special." she gulped. "With you, everyday's special, Sweetie Belle!" Button smiled. Smiling back, Sweetie Belle kissed his lips. "So what do you want to do today?" he asked. "Want to play Minecraft at your house?" she asked. "Sure!" he said as they both held each others hooves and walked together to Button's house. When they got there, she said hi to Button's mom and they went to his room. She stopped when she noticed the wedding dress that his mother wore on her wedding day. "Hey Button." she said. "Yea?" he asked. "Remember when we played wedding?" she said. Button blushed at the thought thinking that eventually in his life he'd love to marry her. They both went into his room as she opened her saddlebags and got her laptop out. Button was already pounding his hoofs at the keyboard. By the time Sweetie Belle logged on, Button had already made a house right by a large cave. The second Sweetie Belle logged on, she ran into the cave. “No, Sweetie Belle!” Button yelled. “Why not? I want to explore!” Sweetie Belle said back. Button could do nothing but chase after her. “Iron!” Sweetie Belle said. She ran over to mine it, but Button saw a skeleton sneak up behind her. He ran up to kill it, and then realized that there was a huge crowd of monsters behind him. “Ahh!” Button screamed as he ran away in fear. Sweetie Belle, not noticing a thing, had already smelted more than half a dozen iron blocks and was making an iron pickaxe. She ventured deeper in the cave. “Diamond! already!” Sweetie Belle exclaimed. She pulled a cookie out of her inventory and ate it while mining all 8 diamonds. Button saw a zombie sneak up behind Sweetie Belle. "I should protect her…" Button thought. He went up and hit the zombie. Sweetie Belle carelessly walked out of the cave, while Button was killed by an exploding creeper that Button didn’t notice was behind him. “RAGE QUIT!” Button yelled. He didn't feel like joining back, but remembered it was his last day, plus Sweetie Belles dog puppy eyes pleading him to play with her. He sighed in defeat, he went back on Minecraft to play with her again. After hours of playing they got bored, and Button decided that he should show her as much romance as she wanted. So he decided to take her out somewhere. "Sweetie Belle! Are you done brushing your hair yet?” Button eagerly asked. Sweetie Belle shook her head and continued brushing her curly purple and pink mane. “How about now?” Button asked. “Nope.” Sweetie Belle said. “Now?” “No.” Sweetie Belle continued brushing her mane. “Now?” Button asked. “Just finished!” Sweetie Belle responded, “Let's go!” she said. Button let out a cheer and nodded his head while his mother came up behind him. “Button!, you need to brush your hair! before you go on a date with Sweetie Belle!" His mother told him. Button’s smile quickly became a large frown. “Do I have to?” Button glumly asked. His mother thought for a while. “I guess not…” She started. Button’s smile came back, hoping that he didn't have to get his hair brushed. His mother knew what he was thinking and quickly said, “I guess Sweetie Belle could always brush your hair for you.” “Yay!” Sweetie Belle said as she ran over with her hairbrush. “Grrr…” Button grumbled feeling embarrassed as Sweetie Belle brushed his brown hair down in front of his caramel brown eyes. At the Train Station... “Thank you, Rarity!” Sweetie Belle said, “You are the best big sister ever!” “Well, your going on an anniversary date with Button Mash, so why not?" Rarity said, but she was cut off by a huge hug from Sweetie Belle, who had just been given two tickets for the train ride, and Rarity thought it was a good idea to buy her little sister tickets so that she could spend the day with Button Mash. Later that evening, Rarity dropped Sweetie Belle and Button off at the train station. Button, of course, brought his toy train to play with. “I’ve never been on a real train, before!” Button told Sweetie Belle. He sat restless on the bench outside the train station, while Sweetie Belle calmly sat, watching for the train. After about five minutes have passed, and Button was bored, he took out his toy train from his saddlebags, and played with it. Sweetie Belle was also bored, and decided to pass the train back and fourth with Button. That is, until the train caught on fire and surprised the two of them, "W-w-what?," Button said. Sweetie Belle just walked away not saying a thing. They both waited and waited for the train to show up, and eventually it did. “Well, that was quick.” Sweetie Belle said. “Are you kidding? It was more than an hour!” Button complained. Button grabbed Sweetie Belle’s hoove, making her blush, and dragged her onto the train. They both took their seats next to each other as the train started moving. Sweetie Belle laid her head on Button's shoulder and he enjoyed the feeling. They both fell asleep 10 minutes after, and woke up to the worst pony they could ever see, Diamond Tiara. "Well, well, well, look who it is!, it's Squeaky Belle and her Blank Flank Coltfriend!" Diamond Tiara said. Button Mash looked at his flank, embarrassed at the fact he didn't have a cutie mark yet, and Sweetie Belle and her friends had theirs. Sweetie Belle went up to Diamond Tiara with an angry look on her face. "Diamond Tiara, of course, it's you, the most annoying and bragging pony in Equestria." Sweetie Belle said. "I don't brag!" Diamond Tiara yelled. "Yes you do, you brag about how you and Rumble are the best ponies in school." Sweetie Belle exclaimed. "And what about you Sweetie Belle!, you showed off that one day about your singing, even though nopony in school cared" Diamond said back. "Hey leave her alone!, I for one think her singing is amazing." Button said, trying to defend Sweetie Belle. "Well, Button Mash!, it's been two years and you haven't found your cutie mark yet!, and also your anti-social with everypony in Ponyville, and to top it all off, you don't even have any friends!. Button felt offended by the comment she made, and started to tear up. Sweetie Belle saw this and grew more furious at Diamond Tiara. Sweetie Belle was about to attack Diamond Tiara, but was blocked off when a certain pony guarded her. "Thanks Rumble!, I knew you'd rescue me from these babies." Diamond Tiara said. "Anything for you Diamond!" Rumble responded not letting Sweetie Belle get through. Sweetie Belle gave up and stood next to Button Mash "Doesn't matter, let's go Rumble, we got better things to do then talk to these two." Diamond Tiara said while she took Rumble's hoove and they got off the train. "Button, just ignore them she's just being a brat like always, Button?" Sweetie Belle said as she turned her head to him and he was sad. "Hey, don't be sad Button, don't worry we'll have a great day!, besides, we won't even see those two again." Sweetie Belle said trying to comfort him. He nodded and they got off the train. "So, we got the whole day to ourselves, what do you want to do?" he asked "How about we just enjoy our last day together before you leave, so let's do as many things today!" she said. Button smiled at her and they explored Canterlot and what it had to offer for them both. They both decided to go eat lunch together then watch a movie after. They went to a nearby restaurant, and ate outside. They didn't spot Diamond Tiara around to annoy them. They talked and laughed with each other, but Sweetie Belle kept thinking in her mind about Button leaving her, and this saddened her. He noticed this and he wanted to show her as much love as possible, so he did. He pressed his lips against hers, and she enjoyed it. All the other ponies around them noticed and smiled at them. "Well, Rumble, let's ruin there little date shall we?" Diamond Tiara said causing Rumble to frown, he's not usually into bullying or stuff like that, but Diamond Tiara forced him to. Diamond looked down at her food and came up with an idea. "Let's ruin their little kiss.!" She said happily. Rumble didn't want to throw food and ruin their kiss, he wanted to enjoy his date with Diamond Tiara instead of bullying other ponies. Diamond Tiara picked up her plate and sneaked up to the couple. "Hey Sweetie Belle?" Button asked. "What is it Button?" She responded. "When we get older-" He said causing her to blush hard, she must've got the message he was going to say. "Would you like to-" He said, but was cut off when a pile of food was dumped on his head. Sweetie Belle gasped at the sight, and looked around to see who did it. Somehow, Diamond Tiara threw it from a far enough distance, and it hit Button instead of Sweetie Belle "Hmm, it didn't hit my target, but at least it hit one of them!" Diamond Tiara said happily. She went back to Rumble and said, "Why didn't you come and help me?" She asked. Rumble just shrugged not saying a word, she rolled her eyes and she saw Silver Spoon. She ran up to her and yelled out, "Silver Spoon!,what are you doing here?" "My dad forced me to come here cause he got a new job in Canterlot, and he said he wanted me to come with him, I didn't expect to see you here either!" Silver Spoon said, smiling at her friend. The two of them finished greeting each other and went back to Rumble. "Silver Spoon!, I'm trying to ruin Squeaky Belle and Button Mash's date, so will you help me!" Diamond Tiara asked. Silver Spoon nodded happily, she missed her friend acting like this, all she would do is talk to Rumble and ignore bullying ponies at their school. Silver Spoon and Diamond Tiara walked away to the couple, leaving Rumble by himself. He frowned and he knew what she was going to do. They both snuck up on them, and hid in a nearby bush. "Button!" Sweetie Belle said. Button frowned at how he was a mess, and Sweetie Belle just sat there with her mouth opened still confused on who did it. Silver Spoon was drinking a milkshake until she looked down and had an idea. She splashed the liquid on Sweetie Belle's Mane. Sweetie Belle gasped in surprise as she was covered in the sticky mess. Button and Sweetie Belle looked around and saw everypony laughing at them. They both felt embarrassed and blushed red hard. Behind a bush, Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon laughed at the scene and noticed their blushing faces. "He he he, Silver Spoon!, nice moves you got there." Diamond Tiara complimented. "Thanks Diamond!, let's do this more!, I miss the feeling, evil coursing through our bodies as it used too." Silver Spoon said causing Diamond Tiara to get more evil. They both exchanged dark mean glances at each other and wanted to do more than just spill food on both of them. "Button, what just happened!" Sweetie Belle said starting to get disappointed knowing that their lunch date was ruined. Button sighed and said, "I don't know Sweetie, let's just leave this place and go see a movie or something." Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon looking evil as ever, both had the same idea in each others head. Button and Sweetie Belle both covered in a mess. They went to the restaurants bathrooms to make themselves presentable. When they finished, their manes were covered with scraps of food. They both frowned at each other. "Look, let's just go see a movie!, that's what we could do together!, just you and me!" Button said in an enthusiastic tone. Sweetie Belle nodded her head at him and they walked towards the movie theater. Silver Spoon and Diamond Tiara saw them and they followed them. Rumble was left alone at the restaurant, and he was disappointed at how Diamond Tiara ditched him. "She-she-she left me for Silver Spoon?, she told me she was going to hang out with me the whole day, instead she ditched me to bully those two ponies from our school." Rumble thought. Rumble sighed and had an angry look on his face. He didn't like it when she bullied both of them, all she'd talk about is how much she hates them. "Well then, if all she wants to do is bully those two instead of hanging out with me, then I might as well dump her." He thought. He had an angry look on his face and he went to go look for her. Button Mash and Sweetie Belle, still holding each others Hooves, walked their way to the movie theater. When they got there, they didn't worry about being interrupted by any pony. 45 minutes later... The movie was coming towards its end and Sweetie Belle and Button Mash enjoyed it very much. Action and Romance, Button loved the action parts, and Sweetie loved the romance parts. They both enjoyed sitting close to each other and sharing popcorn. However, Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon came into the movie theater looking for where they both sat. Silver Spoon said, "There!, over there!, they're sitting right there!" "Quiet Silver Spoon we don't want them knowing we're here." Diamond Tiara whispered. "Or do we?" Silver Spoon whispered back. "Quick!, find something sticky we can throw on them or anything to do!" Diamond Tiara whispered. They both went into the maintenance area of the theater, and they both looked around at what they could throw on them or anything to do to them. Silver Spoon saw a bag of marbles, and Diamond Tiara saw a bucket of glue in the corner of the room. "Here's the plan!, we throw this bucket glue at Sweetie Belle, and I'll pour the bag of marbles down the stairs, and Sweetie Belle will slip and fall down the stairs!, then we'll pour the bucket because obviously It's going to take her a while to get back up." Diamond Tiara said. "Diamond Tiara!, you are a genius!" Silver Spoon complimented. Diamond Tiara smiled at her and they began setting up the plan. Button Mash and Sweetie Belle loved it when they would on dates like this. They had feelings for each other like no other pony, both of them were alike in some ways. Sweetie Belle just kept thinking in her head about Button leaving, and he thought the same thing. both of them were enjoying the day, but they both got sad when they knew they wouldn't see each other in a long time. "Button, I-i don't want this day to end, what if we never see each other again?" Sweetie Belle asked. Button sighed and frowned at her and said, "Sweetie Belle we'll see each other don't worry!, let's just enjoy our final day together and not worry about that for now?" Sweetie Belle smiled at him and he held her in a hug to comfort her. After a long 30 minutes, the movie was finally over. Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon finished setting up their trap. "Ok Diamond!, the movies finally over!, we can start the trap!" Silver Spoon said happily. Diamond Tiara smiled at her and looked at the two lovebirds making out. "Ugh, just look at them, they think there so cute together, and Button was suppose to be my Colt, not that Squeaky Belle's." Diamond Tiara said. Suddenly, Diamond realized that she abandoned Rumble and had forgotten about him. She felt like she had just did the worst mistake she could've done, breaking his heart. "Diamond, quit day dreaming and get ready!, they're about to get out of their seats!" Silver Spoon said. Diamond Tiara saw them both getting out of their seats and grabbed the bag of marbles. Sweetie Belle and Button Mash were holding each other hooves and we're both making their way down the stairs. Diamond Tiara poured the marbles down the stairs and the marbles rolled under Sweetie Belle. Sweetie didn't notice the marbles and kept going down the stairs. "Sweetie Belle we only have an hour left till the train leaves, so let's do one more thing!" Button said. "Ok, what the!-" Sweetie Belle said, but was cut off as she slipped and fell down the stairs. Button was surprised and rushed down to help her out and see if she was ok, but before he could reach her, Silver Spoon grabbed the bucket of glue and threw the bucket from safe distance so that they wouldn't  see her. The bucket was flying towards Sweetie Belle and it landed on her head. Button stood there frozen in shock as he noticed the bucket on her head. He rushed over to her and he removed the bucket off her, and it was revealing her head covered in glue. Sweetie Belle just sat there, the glue was all over her face, she couldn't talk and she couldn't open her eye's. He quickly grabbed her, and rushed to the bathroom to clean her up. Button was crying, he thought that the glue would dry up and also thought that she wouldn't talk or see ever again. He went into the bathroom, turned on the sink, and put her head under the faucet. After 5 minutes of making sure there was no glue on her, and he told her that she could open her eyes. She opened them slowly, and she was left silent. "I'm so glad your ok!, if the glue dried up, you wouldn't be able to speak or see!" Button said. "Button, you do know that glue comes off easily even if it's dried." She said. Button facehooved himself knowing that he was a complete idiot. Sweetie Belle giggled at him and she said, "Thank you!" "No problem, but I just realized something strange." Button said. "What is it?" She asked. "Have you noticed that today was partially ruined by somepony?" He asked. Sweetie Belle frowned and said, "I don't know who did it, but we'll have to be more alert." Button smiled at her, and kissed her, Meanwhile... "Diamond Tiara we did it!" Silver Spoon said happily. "He, he, he, yea we did!, let's go bother them some more!" Diamond Tiara said. Both of them smiled at each other and began looking for them. Sweetie Belle and Button Mash exited the movie theater, and tried to figure out what they could do next. "Well, it doesn't have to be romantic, it could be anything, you can choose." Button Mash said. Sweetie Belle smiled at him and hugged him tightly, they kept hugging until Button saw Rumble in the distance. Rumble noticed them and walked up to them. "Hi guys!" He greeted. They both have him dirty looks and Button said, "What are you doing here!, aren't you suppose to be with Diamond Tiara!" "She ditched me!, just to ruin your date!, she went with Silver Spoon." He said quickly. Sweetie Belle and Button Mash looked at each other and they quickly raged with anger realizing that Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon must've been the ones who ruined their date. "Hey Button!, our last activity should be to get back at Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon!" Sweetie Belle said. Button nodded his head and they both looked at Rumble. Rumble looked at them and he nodded his head joining them. The three of them went back to the restaurant, and they saw Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon sitting together at a table. They hid in a bush close to them so that they could hear their conversation. "So Diamond Tiara, what should we do?, I'm bored." Silver Spoon complained. "Well, I heard there were talent show auditions in town!, so let's go there and let's do our act that we did 2 years ago in Ponyville!" Diamond Tiara said happily. Both of them agreed to do that and they got out of their seats, and made their way towards the talent show place. Sweetie Belle, Button Mash, and Rumble all thought of an idea to get back at them. "She ditched me!, and she went to bully you two, I told her that if she'd bully somepony again, then I'd break up with her!" Rumble said furiously. "Well then!, why don't we break her heart!" Sweetie Belle said. The three ponies followed Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon. Once Diamond and Silver got there, they went backstage. Rumble, Button, and Sweetie went backstage and began thinking of a plan. They wanted to do what Diamond and Silver did to them, so they did. They found feathers, glue, and Rumble was apart of their plan as well. "Here's the plan!, I'll pour the glue on Diamond Tiara and Button, you'll throw the feathers on her!, an old fashion prank!, and Rumble will go up to her and break up with her!" Sweetie Belle said. Both of the Colts looked at her and agreed with the plan. "Silver Spoon, were up next!, I can't wait for the cheers and claps were going to get!" Diamond Tiara cheered. Silver Spoon nodded her head and said, "Yup!, and to top it all off!, I bet Button Mash and Sweetie Belle probably had the worst day ever!" "Girls!, your next!" The announcer said. Both of them went on stage and began to do their routine. Button Mash and Sweetie Belle were hiding above the stage so that nopony could see them, while Rumble was waiting backstage watching Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon. "Button, get ready! When they finish their lame dancing, we'll pour this stuff on Diamond Tiara." Sweetie Belle said. "Why not Silver Spoon?" Button asked. "I hate Diamond Tiara even more than Silver Spoon!, remember two years ago?, she tried to ruin our relationship in the talent show!" Sweetie Belle said "Oh yea, I remember." He said. "So, what do you want to do to pass time?" She asked. "Want to make out?" He asked with a blush on his face. Sweetie Belle blushed hard red and said, "What is it with you?, you always want to kiss me!" "I can't help it!, I love kissing you!, your my Special Somepony!" He said nervously. Sweetie Belle blushed at the word Special Somepony, and without further words she jumped on him and kissed him. They kept kissing for a full minute, they didn't want to let go, Button loves it when he kisses Sweetie, and she enjoys kissing him as well. After a long 2 minutes, they broke apart and looked at each other smiling with a light blush on their faces. Sweetie Belle looked down and saw Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon ending their dance and said, "Get ready Button!, their about to finish!" Button got the pile of feathers ready to dump on Diamond Tiara, and Sweetie Belle got herself ready as well. Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon finished their dance, and everypony in the audience were clapping and cheering for them. "Oh my Celestia!, Silver Spoon!, they loved us!" Diamond Tiara cheered. "We're going to have fans!, watch!" Silver Spoon said confidently. Sweetie Belle poured the glue and it landed on Diamond Tiara, and Button dropped the feathers and they stuck on Diamond Tiara making her look like a chicken. "OH MY CELESTIA!, IM SO EMBARRASSED!" Diamond Tiara said, and she ran off the stage crying. Silver Spoon ran after her friend and went to go cheer her up. "Diamond Tiara are you ok?" Silver Spoon asked. "Do I look ok to you Silver Spoon!, look at me I'm a mess." Diamond Tiara said. "Be glad you didn't lose anything else!" Silver Spoon said happily. Rumble walked up to Diamond Tiara and showed her a grumpy face. "Hi Rumble!" Diamond Tiara said happily as she ran up to him and tried to kiss him. Rumble pushed her away and said, "Diamond Tiara!, look, I-" "Look Rumble!, I know I ditched you earlier!, and I'm sorry!, please forgive me!" Diamond Tiara pleaded. "Which is why!, I'm done hanging out with you!, have fun finding another Colt who would like to date a mean, selfish bully like you!" He said in anger, as he walked away from her and left her frozen in shock. "B-but Rumble!, PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME!, IM SORRY OK?, come back, please..., RUUUMBLEEE!" Diamond Tiara yelled, and cried nonstop watching her Ex-Coltfriend leaving her. Silver Spoon just sat there hugging her friend doing the best she could do to cheer her up, but sadly, she just kept on hugging her heartbroken friend. Back at Ponyville's train station... "Well guys!, it's been fun!, I'll see you both at school tomorrow ok?" Rumble said. "Yea!, we'd like that!, but Button Mash is leaving, so I don't know if he'll be here tomorrow." Sweetie Belle said in a sad depressed tone. "Bummer, bye Button Mash, hope I'll see you again one day!" Rumble said. Button smiled at him and nodded his head. Rumble got the message and waved bye to both of them, and he left them alone. "Button Mash!, thank you for taking me out!, I enjoyed it, even though some of it was ruined, I still got to hangout with you." Sweetie Belle said. "Thanks Sweetie Belle! Glad you enjoyed hanging out with me today!, want me to walk you home?" Button offered. Sweetie Belle nodded her head, took his hoove, and they walked together to Sweetie Belle's house. Along the way, Sweetie Belle felt sad and depressed as she knew that she wouldn't see him for a long time. He was cute and funny, Loyal as he could be, she loved him to pieces. They arrived to her house and Sweetie Belle said, "When are you leaving?" "Tomorrow morning." He replied. "I'll see you then." she said, as she kissed him on the lips once more and went in. Her mind was racing that night. She'd eventually cried herself to sleep. Next morning, she was right next to Button as his parents loaded the car. "This is it." Button sighed. "Here..." Sweetie Belle said. She gave him a music note necklace. "To remember me." "Thanks, Sweetie Belle." Button said. He smiled, hugging her, Sweetie Belle cried harder and said, "I'm going to miss you Button!, I love you!" "I'll miss you too Sweetie Belle, I love you too!" He said, as he kissed her one last time. "Button, time to leave, sweetie!" Button's mother yelled. With one last tight hug, Button got into the car and it began to pull away. Her body acted on its own, Sweetie Belle, crying harder than ever, took off after the car. She looked up and saw Button crying as well with his hoove on the window. She ran and ran until her little legs couldn't take it anymore. She watched the Mash family's car turn a corner. Button had left Ponyville, had left Sweetie Belle. She sat there alone on the empty road. "Oh Button Mash, why?, why did you have to leave me, I'll never forget you," She said, as she looked down at the necklace Button gave her and cried uncontrollably. Apple Bloom and Scootaloo were searching for Sweetie Belle and spotted her sitting alone in the middle of the road. They walked up to her and Scootaloo said, "What's wrong Sweetie Belle?" "B-B-B-Button Mash, h-he's gone." She said, while sobbing. Scootaloo and Apple Bloom hugged her trying everything they could to cheer her up, but it didn't work. A week had passed, Sweetie Belle just sat there alone in her room. All she could think about was Button Mash, and she cried even more when she remembered all the good memories they shared together. Flashback: It was the first day of school, and Sweetie Belle and her friends were at the playground talking to each other. "So!, what should we do to get our cutie marks?" Scootaloo asked. "Ah don't know, there's nothing that we could do." Apple Bloom said. "Well of course!, there's always something to do!" Sweetie Belle said. "Well there ain't nothing!, and we should probably start heading inside, class is about to start!" Apple Bloom said. The Crusaders went inside and sat at their seats from last year. Miss Cheerilee greeted the whole class and welcomed them back to school. She began teaching the class, until a certain brown Colt entered the classroom coming in late on his first day of school. "Sorry I'm late!, I overslept!" Button said, as the whole class laughed at him, except Sweetie Belle. Miss Cheerilee let him pass, and he tried looking for a spot to sit, but there were none. He noticed an open seat next to Sweetie Belle. He sat in it and looked embarrassed as the whole class just looked at him and laughed. "Ok my little ponies! turn to the pony next to you and discuss the answer!" Miss Cheerilee said. Sweetie Belle looked at Button Mash and he looked at her. There was a silence between the two, until Sweetie Belle broke the silence and said, "Hi" "Hi" he replied. "My names Sweetie Belle." "I'm Button Mash." He looked at her and smiled, she blushed and he blushed as well. After the lesson was over, it was time for recess. "Girls, can you excuse me for a minute please?" Sweetie Belle asked. Apple Bloom and Scootaloo looked at her and nodded their heads. Sweetie Belle walked away to go find Button Mash. She saw him sitting alone under a tree, and she walked up to him. "Hey, why are you alone?" Sweetie Belle asked. "Oh, I don't really have any friends, I just moved here a week ago, and I'm trying to make friends, but I guess my entrance to the class didn't go as well as I expected it to." He said while frowning. "Well, I could be your friend." She said "Really?" He asked. "Yup!, and I also know two friends of mine who would also like to be your friend as well!" She said. Button Mash smiled at her as she sat next to him, and they continued to talk. Flashback end: Or the other memory where they had a milkshake date, and their first lunch date together. She cherished these moments and she would never forget them. She cried nonstop, all she would do is cry and sob. Her friends Scootaloo and Apple Bloom decided to have a chat with her, so they went to her house and knocked on the door. Rarity opened the door and said, "Hello there darlings!, If your looking for Sweetie Belle she's in her room." Apple Bloom and Scootaloo went upstairs and knocked on Sweetie Belle's door. Sweetie Belle opened it and didn't say hi to them. Instead, she just let them in and she sat back down in the center of her room staring at a picture of Button Mash. "Look Sweetie Belle, we know what your going through right now." Scootaloo said. "You don't know because you never dated anypony." Sweetie Belle said. "Your right we don't know, but yah gotta move on Sweetie Belle." Apple Bloom said. "How can I move on?, I'm miserable without him, he was the Colt of my dreams, the other part of what my heart was missing, love." Sweetie Belle said. "Sweetie Belle, he'll come back someday!, You've been ignoring us and its getting annoying." Scootaloo said. Sweetie Belle began to cry again, and she didn't like the feeling, she was heartbroken and couldn't say anything. Scootaloo went up to her and hugged her tightly, "Don't worry Sweetie Belle, he'll come back before you know it!" Scootaloo said. "Yea, and also without ya, it's not the same!." Apple Bloom said. "We are a trio, without you we wouldn't be nothing, you gotta move on!, and don't worry!, Button Mash said he'd be back." Scootaloo said. Sweetie Belle wiped her tears and stood up. "Yea, I'll see him one day." Sweetie Belle said. "Glad to have ya back Sweetie Belle!, besides, we have to help find Rumble's special talent!" Apple Bloom said. Sweetie Belle nodded her head and told them that she'd meet them at the clubhouse, Scootaloo and Apple Bloom ran to the clubhouse, and Sweetie Belle walked up to her window and looked up at the sky. "Goodbye Button, see you someday, and when we meet I'll show you how much I missed you, till then, goodbye, my hero!" she said, while she walked out of her room and ran for the treehouse.
