The griffins have defeated Equestria in a great war. Equestria now lays in ruins, with small settlements spread over the former country. These small settlements are constantly harassed by griffin patrols, and some are destroyed entirely. In a small settlement near the ruins of Vanhoover, 4 friends are about to go on the adventure of a lifetime. These 4 ponies will, unknowingly, shape the future of Equestria.
