Time Never Stops
Time never stops.

Time never slows down.
Never.
And so you must always be ready, for when time finally catches up.
Pinkie Pie was busy chasing Pound Cake around Sugarcube Corner. It brought back memories of when he was just a month old and she had to foalsit for a day. Luckily, this was just a friendly game of tag unlike years ago.
“Pinkie Pie, could you come here,” Mr. Cake called from upstairs.
Both Pinkie and Pound stopped immediately, “Okie dokie lokie,” she replied.
She began to walk upstairs but Pound Cake grabbed her from behind, “But I want to keep playing.”
“Don’t worry. I’ll be down in just a minute.”
And with the peace of mind that their game would resume, he released her.
Pinkie Pie trotted up the stairs but, for some reason she had the strangest feeling that something bad was going to happen.
She entered a small room that the Cake’s used for making the precise calculations to run their business. Mrs. Cake gestured towards a chair and Pinkie sat down. There was a bit of silence and each moment felt like an eternity. Finally, Mr. Cake looked up at Pinkie Pie.
“Pinkie Pie,” he began to speak.
She wasn’t accustomed to this much seriousness coming from Mr. Cake, ‘Oh no, what if he’s firing me for taking some of the pastries without paying?’ the thought crossed her mind.
