A Reformed Evil

Vegas. That is the only word he can think of to describe this situation. One moment he is drinking, having a relatively good time, then gets attacked by somepony he pisses off, makes a deal with a demon, and awakens in a bed with some insect/pony hybrid who is a queen and calling him lover. As Daniel gets out of bed, he groans as he feels something wrong with his back as he sits up and tries to stand. He stops "Fuck I hurt" he says as he goes and stands up now, but feeling... different. As he goes over to the mirror, he can see a tail swaying, bedroom eye Chrysalis looking at him. Whatever the hell happened last night must of been done right. As he turns around, he goes wide eye to see his back covered in scratches, his neck with small fang marks and some large black image on his back. It was a demonic like head with two large horns on his head and two tusk like horns near the mouth. Around the head were two large demonic wings as he facepalms. All he hears is giggling as he turns around to see Chrysalis smiling "Seems you found my love marks... then again, you did some yourself" she says. She stands as she shows her neck of love bites causing him to facepalm yet again.

As he moves around more, he feels something cold at his foot as he looks down. When he does, he sees what looks like a tail, but with a sharp blade at the end of it. The rest of it was what looked to be made out of black metal as it moves a bit when he turns. He feels the tail up the metal and to his tail bone as he sighs "At this point.... I am not surprised. Reason? Magic" he says to no one in particular.

He looks at his clothing as he shakes his head. He goes to his drawers as he pulls out his usual ensemble as he goes to take a quick shower. As he does so, he feels somepony follow him as he turns around and sees Chrysalis. Now he can see her in all her tallness as she towered over him, yet pulls him into a firm, yet not so tight hug "Oh? Share a shower to get it over with?" she asks. Normally, he would of denied that since he just met the woman, but seeing as how he really wants to find out what happened last night he simply nods. As they got in the shower, he sees a green flame as he turns around to see a smaller Chrysalis, his height now as he backs away. She seems a bit confused "I told you before I can change myself" she says. She reaches up after getting some shampoo and runs her hands through his hair as she scratches and massages his scalp.

To just make conversation Daniel looks up at Chrysalis "So... exactly what kind of pony are you Chrysalis?"

"I am not a pony or a Equestrian like the others. I am a Changeling" she says as Daniel turns around to look at her.

"A Changeling? Like a creature that feeds on love by replacing children or other loved ones?" he asks. She looks at him as her ears fold down as he simply smiles "It's mere folklore in my world, but I wonder how interesting it be to meet one. I'm surprised my first meeting is with the queen" he says. After the shower, he gets dressed and hands Chrysalis a large coat since he didn't have anything else for her, the two made their way to the large room as it had more then the simple Mane 6 in there. Such a good show human, very good show!" the voice says. As the mirror folds in on itself, a bright light comes out as the voice appears. Daniel looks him over and thinks of him as similar to a chimera, yet without the extra heads. This creature had a deer antler on the right, a blue goat horn on the left, one long fang, different-sized pupils, a snake tongue, a goat beard, and white bushy eyebrows. He has the right arm of a lion, the left claw of an eagle, the right leg of a lizard, and the left leg of a goat. In addition, he has a bat's right wing, a Pegasus' left wing, a horse's mane, and a dragon-like snake's tail with a white tail tuft. Basically he looked something a toddler thrown together.

As the creature keeps laughing, Daniel whistles to get his attention "I believe a introduction is in order?" he asks.

Discord laughs a bit "Oh but of course human. I am Discord, Spirit of Chaos and a draconequus" he says. Daniel sits down in his chair as Chrysalis takes a seat next to him. Discord smirks a bit "Well... this certainly adds to the long list of chaos you caused" he says as he magically makes a scroll appear as it extends to outside the castle doors of Twilight's castle. Daniel just leans back and runs a hand through his hair as he shakes his head.

Twilight now clears her throat as Discord makes the scroll smaller to simple parchment. as she looks over "Daniel. You say you don't remember anything that happened?"

"No, I don't remember a damn thing. The last thing I do remember is Princey blasting me down Canterlot's steps" he says. They all seem to grimace as if something bad happened as he leans back.

Discord now laughs "I got photos if you want to see them, but then again Princess Bookworm has a better idea" he says with a roll of his eyes to the glare Twilight shot.

The alicorn walks over to Daniel as her horn glows "I am going to show you memories of what happened" she says as a large orb appears over the table as Daniel's mind pieces it together. Oh great, they are going to  see a show of my memories during my 'blackout' period. As he relaxs, the spell comes over him as he sees the orb glow as he relaxes.

He opens them as he is getting up off the ground with a clear blast in his chest, but unbeknownst to the ponies, they are watching what Diabalos is doing during the time of all this and Daniel is watching what Diabalos did. The first thing he notices is that when everypony was turned away, Daniel's eyes open to show a sliver of orange around his usual light brown eyes as the orange fades. Daniel looks over as he sees the mark heal up to the scar he has as this was one of Diabalos's gifts, a healing factor. As Diabalos got up, he can hear the two aunts yelling at Blueblood as he yells out "You!" he says as he points at Blueblood.

The prince jumped as Diabalos came walking up the steps "When I get up there! I will take that horn and ram it through your eye!" he threatens. Blueblood simply turn and ran as Diabalos gave chase to him. The only real reason Diabalos is chasing him is to make him fear him and feed off of that. As Diabalos calms down he straightens his suit and looks over at them, putting on a smile "I do humbly apologize for my actions today. Humans are quite a temperamental species when it comes to events like being sucker punched" he says. One upside of keeping Daniel alive, that he didn't tell him, was that he had a connection to his memories so he knows most of the ponies names, but also of his own memories. The history memories, the occult, the experience, all of the memories of the mortal while the said mortal sleeps.

Daniel looks at it as he rubs his temples "So... I beat down Blueblood? I really don't see a bad side of that. Bastard had it coming" he says. While that didn't get any popular points with the ponies, he had to keep up the façade of him doing this and not the 'other voice'.

Discord laughs a bit "And got a good picture  of it too" he says. He shows a picture of Blueblood's face on point of impact as they all laugh, except for Celestia who is stifling a giggle.

As Diabalos walks around, feeling his body, he rolls his shoulders as he groans "Damn brat blasted me pretty good" he says to nopony. As he continues to walk down the hall, he stopped as he felt his nose assaulted with the smell of food as he walks over and finds the buffet hall. Inside, Applejack was selling her food to hungry patrons, but what really caught his eye were two Wonderbolts arguing over something. One had orange hair and in the usual blue and yellow suit as the other one had black hair as the memory seems to be fastforward a bit as Diabalos is having another glass of Griffonian Vodka as he seems to wobble a bit, all for the illusion of Daniel looking drunk as he wanders over to the table. He hears them talk about relationship as he says "Take it from a guy whose been around... just go for it. Don't plan it, just do it. Spontaneous is the best way to go" he says.

Before he even turns, the orange haired mare had leaped over the table and kissed the black haired stallion hard making both wings go 'fwoom'.

Rainbow looks over at Daniel "So your the reason Spitfire and Soarin weren't at the Gala the whole time?" she asks with a slight glare. Daniel gulps as Twilight pats his shoulder as Pinkie just smiles at him.

She bounces on over "Oh aren't you the special matchmaker!" she says getting him in a hug as Chrysalis just glares slightly. Daniel pats her back as Pinkie resumes her seat at the table.

As Diabalos wanders around the halls and parties, he can see the rest of the ponies doing their own thing. RD trying to find the rest of the Wonderbolts, Fluttershy speaking with the animals in the garden, Twilight and Celestia talking about something,  Pinkie being Pinkie, and finally Rarity speaking with some noble about clothing. As he made his way outside to the balcony, he stops at the railing as he rubs his temple. He groans as he looks into his glass "Oh to woe is mortality. A fleeting passage of life and love, that ends with overwhelming sorrow. A life once lived, that is a mere fleeting day, but opens to everlasting night" he says. He hears a small clap as he turns and sees Luna in a star constellation made dress.

She smiles "To whom does that saying belong to?" she asks as she stands next to him.

Diabalos shakes his head "Noone. I just made it up on the spot. I tend to do that when I got a headache from the stuffy, snobby air" he says referring to the nobles.

Luna simply nods "Indeed. We do enjoy the more open air to these closed roof parties. Still you mister Daniel complex us" she says as he looks over. She has a calm expression "Thee has dreams and nightmares that we cannot enter. Thee shows no greeting of us as Princess, yet simply Luna. Thee also are quite the talk of the kingdom as a weird creature. Many fear thee, yet they also respect thee" she says.

Diabalos turns and looks at her "What about you? What do you think of me?"

Luna is silent for a few minutes "We... know not what to think. We respect thee as a new species, a kind, gentle, but also soft soul. Yet thee cause us to fear thee. Your a unknown creature with unknown power or even any power. Thee also assaulted our nephew, but even we admit he 'had it coming' as our ponies call it. We also fear thee for we know not if you wish for harmony or disharmony"

"So in sort your neutral about me?"

"Nay.... we feel thy true path will show in time" was all Luna said

Diabalos smiles as he puts his drink down "Then allow me to show my own form of thanks for this meeting" he says. Before she even responds, his hand hooks around her head, pulls her down and kisses her passionately.

Everypony and the only human gaze wide eye and open mouthed at what had happened "Did I just-"

As he stops to 'admire' a stain glass window, he starts to hear music echo of a small group of instruments as he followed it. The echoes led him to a small ballroom as it was a slow dance floor as he walks in and smiles. His ears and mind feel at ease of the music, well easing the human mind anyway. As he scans the room, his eyes stop towards a tall mare in the corner, away from others as it was Chrysalis.

Chrysalis smiles and hugs Daniel "The first time we met"

"I figure seeing as how it was last night" he jokes as she kisses his cheek.

Chrysalis smiles as she purrs and wraps her wings and tail around him as the memory continues.

Diabalos drinks another shot as he breathes slowly. He walks through the crowd as he does a bow to Chrysalis "Dear fair maiden, why are you here in the shadows and not out in the open?" he asks.

Chrysalis simply looks at him "I am here to make a treaty, not talk and dance with ponies or... whatever you are. Begone" she says with a hiss.

Diabalos chuckles "Ah, but how will anyone suspect a treaty to work if you keep yourself away from others they will think this is a simple betrayal. To ensure no harm comes to you or others, then I would suggest getting to know others" he says as he sits on a table next to her.

Chrysalis raises a eyebrow "And what of you? Why do they trust you?" she asks.

Diabalos shrugs "They don't have a need to. All they do know is I am kept under a careful eye. Now.. why not dance since nobles hate the both of us because we are not trustworthy as it seems. I will say they hate me for I am about middle-class and did punch Blueblood" he says. That seemed to get a smirk out of Chrysalis as he motions her to lean down. He whispers "Also.
