Rise of the Ponies part 1
In the city of Canterlot it would look like it is a peaceful city, most of the time. Other times, they aren't so peaceful. Which is why the those who are destined to protect this city is training right now in the basement of a certain abandoned building.
Four female ninjas were just about to get ready for training by fighting each other. But these aren't just ordinary ninjas, for they are only half human, while the other half of them are ponies, so they have hands, instead of feet they have hooves, pony ears, and human bodies and faces. One had light orange skin, blonde hair and tail, had a red hair bow, wore a regular orange ninja suit with a symbol of three silhouetted apples and had a blue ninja mask , with two katana swords. Her name was Applejack. The second had cyan skin, rainbow colored hair and tail, wore a dark blue ninja suit with a symbol of a silhouetted cloud and lightning and had a red ninja mask, with two sai. Her name was Rainbow Dash. The third had lavender skin, sapphire blue hair and tail with violet and rose streaks, wore a violet ninja suit with a symbol of a silhouetted six-pointed star and had a regular purple ninja mask, with a bō which converts into a naginata. Her name was Twilight Sparkle. The fourth had light pink skin, regular pink, fluffy, hair and tail, wore a ninja suit that matched her hair color with a symbol of three silhouetted balloons and had an orange ninja mask, with two nunchuks which convert into kusarigama. Her name was Pinkie Pie.
For their training exercise they were going to face each other in battle. Rainbow Dash versus Twilight Sparkle and Applejack versus Pinkie Pie. Applejack and Pinkie Pie readied their weapons and began to fight.
"Yeah let's do this!" Pinkie Pie shouted as she ran and swung one of her nunchucks at Applejack's face. Applejack dodged it only for Pinkie Pie to continue swinging at her. "Come on, how do you expect to defeat me if you can't keep up?" Just then Applejack used the back of her fist on Pinkie's stomach.
"Like that?" Applejack asked looking back at Pinkie as she just defeated her.
"Good one, Applejack."
Rainbow Dash and Twilight were now going to fight. Twilight readied her staff but Rainbow Dash didn't raise her weapons at all. "Alright Twi lower your staff and you won't get hurt." Dash said hoping to convince Twilight.
Twilight however, wasn't convinced nor was she amused by what Rainbow said to her. "Yeah right!" Twilight said to her. "That's what you said the last time before you did hurt me."
Rainbow looked a bit shocked to hear Twilight say that. Usually she would fall for something, since this was Rainbow Dash she was talking too and she knew that Twilight wouldn't want to fight her. "Yeah well I would have kept my word."
Twilight twirled her staff in front of Rainbow for a little bit but then stopped. "Nice try." Twilight swung at her from the left and right, but Rainbow dodged them both. Twilight twirled her staff again and tried to strike at Rainbow's head only for her to grab the staff from Twilight's hands. Twilight was shocked by this and said, "I should have dropped the staff right?"
Rainbow Dash twirled Twilight's staff a bit and then she broke it by smashing it against her left knee. "Should've dropped the staff." Rainbow then used the two halves of the staff to hit Twilight multiple times.
Twilight couldn't take much more of and decided to quit. "I give, I give! Uncle!" She shouted making Rainbow stop. Which now made Pinkie Pie and Twilight lose the match.
Now Applejack and Rainbow Dash were the last to face each other. "Ready?" Applejack asked.
"Ready as I'll ever be."
Applejack brought out her two katana swords and Rainbow Dash brought out her two sai. They both ran toward each other and began the fight. One by one they both slashed their weapons, but not one of them are hitting the other. Applejack was then about to strike but Rainbow used one of her sai to redirect Applejack's arm and fling her across the room, allowing her to claim victory.

All four of them turned and they saw their Sensei walk in the room to congratulate them on their training. Their Sensei wore a red kimoto with a symbol of a silhouetted sun and was holding a green crystallized staff. Just like her students she was also a half human half pony mutant with pony hooves, ears, and tail with human hands and a human body. She had Light fuchsiaish gray skin and her hair and tail had the shades of Light cerulean, Light turquoise, Very light cobalt blue, and Pale heliotrope.
All four of them got on their knees in a straight and waited for their Sensei's response. "You have all done well my students."
"And I won!" Rainbow Dash said.
"This is only a training exercise, Rainbow Dash this is not about winning or losing." Celestia addressed Rainbow Dash.
"Hai Sensei!" Rainbow Dash said to Celestia. "But I still won and they all lost." Celestia was not amused by that and went behind Rainbow Dash and pulled on her ear. Rainbow didn't expect that or how painful it was and quickly corrected herself. "But the important thing is, is that we all did our best. Go team!" Rainbow said getting Celestia to let go and chuckle.
Later on at night everyone sat at their dining table eating hay and daisies. "Anyone for seconds?" Pinkie asked to all of them.
"No thanks." Applejack said. "Think we've have about our fill on hay and daisies.
Pinkie smirked at them and said, "Well I hope you saved enough-" She then grabbed a muffin tin tray full of cupcakes. "-room for cupcakes." This got their attention in all the good ways.
They were practically drooling over how good they look, which seems fair since Pinkie was the one that made them. "Cupcakes!" Rainbow Dash said excitedly until she took a closer at them. "And they're made out of hay and daisies."
Twilight was a bit astounded by that. "How did you make cupcakes out of hay and daises?"
"I don't know." Pinkie said. "It just sort of happened when I was making them." Twilight didn't know what to say but decided to leave it at that.
Applejack was a bit confused about one thing though. "Uh Pinkie, what's the frosting made out of?"
Pinkie was a bit embarrassed by this and grabbed the cupcakes and pulled them away. "You don't want to know." Pinkie then thought she could help them forget about that by shouting, "HAPPY MUTATION DAY!" Thankfully it worked.
"HAPPY MUTATION DAY!" Everyone but Celestia shouted.
Celestia smiled at what they said. "Ah yes it has been 15 years since that first day hasn't it?" Celestia explained. "I still remember that day."
Pinkie cheered at what Celestia said. "Can you tell us the story?"
"Pinkie Pie you already know the story." Celestia said with a smile.
"Oh come oooonnn please tell it again!" Before Pinkie could continue whining Rainbow Dash placed her hand over Pinkie's mouth.
"Please Sensei!" Rainbow Dash pleaded. "It will get her to shut up if you tell the story."
Celestia rolled her eyes and gave in. "Alright then!" Rainbow Dash removed her hand from Pinkie's mouth and Pinkie calmed down and listened in.
15 years ago I was minding my own business walking through the streets of Canterlot until I came by a pet shop. When I looked inside I saw the precious and the most rarest sight ever in the middle of the shop. There I saw four baby ponies.
"That's us!" Pinkie Pie interrupted.
"That's right." Celestia said. "Don't interrupt!"
I'm not sure what it was about them but when I saw those ponies I didn't feel so lonely, so I adopted all four of them. You wouldn't believe how much money it cost. While I was making my way down the street I accidentally bumped into a strange looking man in a suit. However, once I looked back at that strange man I noticed that there was something off about him and I decided to follow him down the alley. When I looked back at him I saw the strange man again only this time he was with someone that looked exactly like him.
I was about to leave but that was until two more copies of that guy appeared behind and said, "You are trespassing in this place where you are trespassing and now you must be destroyed in this place where you are trespassing." Just then I noticed that all four of them surrounded me.
In an act of self defense I put the ponies behind me and attacked them. Little did I know that they were skilled in fighting, but I wouldn't allow them put harm on the ponies and myself. That was until I knocked one of them back and he dropped a canister of a suspicious looking goo and spilled all over me and the ponies. The four of them ran off while the goo did something to me and the ponies.
The ponies then grew taller and formed human bodies, faces, and hands, while the same thing happened to me.
Celestia held up the same canister from her story and the same one that changed all of them into the half pony half human mutants. "And that is how we became the most unlikeliest of families."
Pinkie grabbed the canister and hugged it. "Dad." She said with a bright smile.
With the story out of the way Applejack thought now was the time to ask her the one thing that has been on her mind all day. "So Sensei?" Celestia then looked at Applejack. "Now that we're 15 and since we're pretty adroit fighters would it be alright if we...I don't know...go out in the city?" Her asking that made all four of them look at Celestia hoping that she would answer them.
"Yes-" All four of them cheered at that. "and no." All four of them stooped and looked at her wondering why she said that. "It is best for you all to see the city and gain new experiences but you lack enough wisdom and therefore could lead to danger."
'So that's a no then?"
"Yes...and no."
"Huh!" They all said in unison
"It's true you don't have the wisdom but wisdom comes from experience and experience comes from making mistakes."
Twilight still didn't fully understand what Celestia was getting at. "So we can go then?"
"No!"
"And yes?"
"No!"
Applejack stood up and looked at Celestia. "Come on Sensei, how do you expect us to gain experience if we're stuck here forever?"
That got Celestia thinking. She knew that Applejack was right about that, but still wasn't sure. However, when she looked back at the four of them they were all on their knees and begged with pleading eyes. Celestia was then convinced. "You may go!" After that they all cheered again.
Later on without Twilight and Pinkie, Applejack and Rainbow Dash were in the living room. Rainbow Dash was reading a book from her favorite book series 'Daring Do' while Applejack was watching her favorite show, 'Space Heroes', mimicking all the characters poses and dialog exactly.
Rainbow Dash looked up and Applejack and wasn't amused. "You know that show isn't even that good."
"Says you." Applejack said not looking away from the TV. "One day I want to be just like him."
"If by that you mean being a dork than you're well on your way." Rainbow Dash said looking back at her book and making Applejack's eyes roll.
Before anything else went on Twilight and Pinkie came in. "Come on girls!" Pinkie said getting their attention. "Let's get going!"
They all grabbed their signature weapons and some ninja stars. They were all ready to head outside and into the city of Canterlot, however, they had to speak to Celestia first. They stood in a straight line and awaited her words. "Remember you all must stick together and must maintain awareness."
"Hai Sensei!" They all said in unison.
"Stay in the shadows!"
"Hai Sensei!"
"Don't talk to strangers!"
"Hai Sensei!" They started to get a bit annoyed.
"Everyone is a stranger!"
"Hai Sensei!" They all headed to the exit.
"Make sure you go before you leave, the restrooms up their a filthy, especially those from a gas station."
"SENSEI!"
Celestia looked down and sighed as they were all headed out. "Good luck my daughters."
Before they went outside Applejack looked around to see if anyone was there, thankfully no one was there. Once the coast was clear they all headed out and now they were outside for the very first time in 15 years. The sight before them was amazing, just like the stuff they see on the news and regular TV shows. Buildings, lights, dark sky, stars, a whole bunch off stuff you see at night.
"This place is beautiful!" Pinkie said as they were walking out of the alley.
They looked all over the place. There were houses, stores, there was a sweet shop called Sugarcube Corner, about a lot of things. Twilight was amazed by the amount of technology they have in this city, much to Rainbow Dash's annoyance. Pinkie Pie was too excited to see everything that just kept staring at the lights of a building that belonged to what the store said, 'Zecora'.
During all of this however, when they were walking through the street they were encountered by a guy in a motor scooter. Rainbow Dash only helped him get scared and ride away. They all had to hide and hope that, that guy doesn't remember this anytime soon. Pinkie however, looked at a box that he dropped and decided to take it.
On the rooftops they were looking at the box that the guy they saw drop. Pinkie looked at the words on it and read out load, "Pizza!" This only made their curiosity grow.
"Careful girl!" Applejack warned all three of them. "We don't know what this is." Rainbow Dash then used one of her sai to open the box and then they saw a circular form of dough stopped with tomato sauce, cheese, and pepperoni.
Twilight looked closely at it and only came to this conclusion. "It looks like food."
"It's not like any food I've seen." Rainbow Dash said.
Pinkie Pie reached for a slice. "I'll try it." She said as she grabbed one. She held it out to her face, slowly opened her mouth, and took a small bite. Little did she know was that one small bite was enough to blow her mind. Now knowing how good this is she stuffed the rest of it in her mouth, chewed it all up, and smiled as she swallowed the whole thing, burping in the process. She looked at the others and didn't want them to have the rest of it. "Uh...yuck, that was disgusting." She lied. "None of you would want any of this so I'll just take what's left." Too bad her plan didn't work.
All of them each grabbed at least two slices of pizza and chowed down on it, enjoying the delicious taste of the hot and gooey, cheesy goodness. "I never thought I would taste anything better than hay and daisies, but this is amazing!" Rainbow Dash said as she ate her last slice.
Now that they were all done Applejack spoke up. "Alright girls it's getting late we better head back."
Before they left Twilight looked off to the side on the street and saw something that amazed her. "Wait girls look!" They all looked at what she was looking, but actually it was who she was looking. Walking down the street was a woman about in her 40's with light yellow skin, sapphire hair, with a green shirt with a dark blue skirt that reached to her knees was walking. But amazed Twilight was who she was walking with. She saw a boy about her age with the same colored skin and hair as the woman he was walking with. He wears a white shirt with a decal of a lightning bolt in front of a blue shield, a black jacket with red and white stripes over the shirt, and blue jeans. Twilight was star struck and her heart was beating rapidly at the sight of the boy. "He's the most handsome guy I've ever seen."
"Isn't he the only guy you've ever seen?" Rainbow Dash asked Twilight breaking her out of her trance.
Twilight looked away from them and blushed. "My point still stands."
"Wait girls!" Applejack said silencing them. "Look at that." She pointed at a van that was headed in the direction of the two humans.
The van stopped right in front of the two and out came a teenage girl with light turquoise skin and amber colored hair with a golden streak, she was wearing slacks and a gold shirt with a decal of a lightning bolt with three stars on it. Three more came out of the van and these were what shocked all four of them the most. These guys were the same guys that their Sensei described in her story. What shocked them most was that they had weird looking guns and pointed them at the woman and boy.
The both of them were scared by this. "What going on here?" The woman said. "What is the meaning of this?" Before anything else could be said two of the strange men grabbed them both.
On the rooftops they were shocked by what they saw. "We've gotta save them." Twilight said.
"Hold on!" Applejack said to them. "Celestia's instructions were very clear. We're supposed to stay away from people...and bathrooms." However, what Applejack said wasn't enough to stop them from trying to stop those guys. After angrily sighing she decided to join them.
The woman and boy were struggling to get out of their grasp to no avail. "Let us go!" The boy said while struggling. They threw the woman in the van and was about to the throw the boy in, but the ponies then came in their way.
Their main targets were the strange identical men in suits. However, as they were attacking them they seem to be getting in each others way. When Rainbow Dash was about to attack one Twilight used her staff to launch herself at him only to lose control and flung herself towards Rainbow Dash knocking them both back. Applejack was doing her best to get them but seems a bit out of focus to make a single hit while trying to avoid the blasts from the weird looking guns they have. The boy was watching the entire thing and when Twilight came by to help him he screamed at the sight of the pony mutant which made her scream. However, she tried her best to keep calm only to be hit by Pinkie's nunchucks which then got them both knocked down by one of them. He then grabs the boy and they drive off with both humans.
Twilight watches as the were taken away. "We've gotta save them." Twilight said as she was headed in the vans direction with Rainbow Dash and Applejack following her.
Pinkie was about to follow them when one the strange men confronted her. "Just you and me tough guy." She then swings her nunchucks at the strange man only for each strike to be useless. "You think you're tough, huh!? You think you're tough enough to stand up to my HOT NUNCHUCK FURY?!" She shouted as she was about to swing at his head only for him to grab her nunchucks out of her hand. "Well then...AHAHA!"
Not knowing what else to do, she thought it would be best to run. While running the strange man was following close behind her. She went into an alley where she was now cornered by the strange man again. She then swings blindly at the man with her nunchucks that she made the blade come out and form a kusarigama. "TAKE THIS!?" She then managed to hit him.
When she looked she was shocked by what she just did to the strange man. Only the thing was that it wasn't a man at all, it was robot with a human disguise. Before Pinkie could react the robot powered down and when that happened a brain like creature came out of it's chest and attacked Pinkie. It latched itself on Pinkie's face making her scream and try to take it off. After a few attempts she finally managed to remove the creature and then it left.
Pinkie tried to run after it but then she nearly bumped into Twilight, Rainbow, and Applejack. Thankfully they heard her scream. "Girls you're not going to believe this." Pinkie began to explain. "That man we just saw he..h-he...had a BRAIN!"
She was right, they didn't believe her. "We all have brains Pinkie." Applejack said.
"Not all of us." Twilight said with a hint of sarcasm.
"In our chests?!"
"No, Pinkie. Not in our chests."
Pinkie wasn't liking that they weren't even going to listen to her. "YOU'RE NOT LISTENING TO ME!" Just then Applejack slapped Pinkie in the face. "Did you just slap me?"
"I was calming you down."
"WHY WOULD THAT CALM ME DOWN?!" Pinkie looked back at the alley and hoped that the robot body was still there. "Come on I'll show you." They all headed back to the alley where Pinkie was but didn't see a robot anywhere. It was completely deserted as if nothing was there at all. Seeing that there was nothing there the three of them left. "I'm telling you the truth!" Pinkie said as she was following them.
They went back home in shame as they await their punishment by their Sensei. They were all on their knees in a straight line while Celestia was pacing back and forth. "This is by far the most foolish thing all four of you have done." She scolded them. "Not only did you all fail to work together as a team but you also managed to let them get away with two innocent bystanders."
Applejack couldn't take much of this. "Sensei we would have stopped them and saved those humans if someone listened to me in the first place." She said looking at Rainbow Dash.
"Well I would have had those guy taken care of if someone didn't get in my way." Rainbow said looking at Twilight.
"I would have saved those two humans if someone didn't me in the head with her nunchucks." Twilight said looking at Pinkie Pie.
"Well none of this would have happened if-" She looked beside her only to see nobody else there. "None of this would have happened if someone didn't trust us to go out there in the first place." After she said she covered her mouth and the others gasped.
"No Pinkie Pie, you are right." Celestia said making all of them confused. "I shouldn't have let you gone out there so early. All four of you were inexperienced and I should have trusted my instincts." She turns away from them and starts to head to her chambers. "We shall continue training and maybe in a year we will try again."
Twilight didn't like where Celestia was going with this one bit and spoke up. "Are you kidding me Sensei!" Saying that made Celestia stop and stare back at her. "Those innocent people don't have a year, we need to save them now." Celestia was about to say something when Twilight spoke up again. "You weren't there master you didn't see what we saw. The look on that boy's face, he didn't know what to do, he was counting on me-" Twilight then looked at the others and saw that they were staring at her. "-counting on us to same both of them. Please master, we can't let them be trapped any longer."
Celestia considered Twilight words and look at a picture she had back when she was a human. In the picture she was there with her husband, Sombra, and their daughter. As she was looking at this picture a whole bunch of memories came flooding in. Memories of her past life and how it all ended. Knowing that Twilight was right about this she had no other choice. "Alright! You must go back and save those two from these strangers."
"And from the robots with creepy brain things in their chests." Pinkie Pie said.
"Let it go already." Rainbow Dash said.
Applejack looked at the other and then back at Celestia. "With all due respect master we were not fully focused out there."
"Yes indeed!" Celestia said. "In order to save them all four of must work together as a unit. And in order for that one of you must lead the others."
Applejack was the first to ask. "Can I be the leader?"
"Why should you be the leader?" Rainbow Dash asked. "I kicked all of your butts. I should be the leader!"
"Now hold on." Twilight said. "I'm smarter than all of you, so the leader should be me."
"No I should be the leader." Pinkie said making all of them stare at her. "I don't have a reason I just think that it should be me."
Celestia walked toward her chamber doors and opened them. "The choice of leader is a very important decision. I will meditate on this." She closed the doors and just a few seconds later she opened them again. "It's Applejack." She then closed the door again.
Applejack looked over at Rainbow Dash and saw that she was a bit frustrated by this. "Jealous?" Applejack asked Rainbow making her angrily sigh.
Back in Canterlot on the rooftops the ponies were observing a building that had the same logo as the one on the van that captured those two people. "You sure this is the place?" Twilight asked Applejack.
"Of course." Applejack said pointing at the sign. "That sign is the same one as the one on the van that took those two away. Now we just need to wait for someone to come out."
Pinkie looked at the building. "Well I don't see anyone." Saying that made Applejack sigh.
"We see that there's no one there Pinkie!" Applejack said looking at Pinkie with an annoyed expression. "We just need to be patient." She said making them all calm down and wait. However, the wait was a bit longer than they thought so they decided to waste some time practicing with their weapons and playing games that quickly get boring.
"I'm thinking of something...blue!" Pinkie began a game that she was playing with Twilight for about 30 minutes. "Colorful. Bluuuee."
Twilight rolled her eyes and sighed. "Is it Rainbow Dash again?" She asked with a bored expression.
"Man, you're good at this!" Pinkie cheered.
About the second hour came by and still no one came out of the building or went in. Rainbow Dash has had about enough of this. "Give it up already!" She said to Applejack. "The chick is not gonna show."
Applejack however, didn't care about the waiting. "We have to be patient."
"No! You have to come up with a better plan, because us sitting here with our thumbs up our noses-"
"I don't think they fit..." Pinkie interrupted trying to see if her thumb were to fit in her nose.
"-Is pointless!" Rainbow Dash continued still looking at Applejack.
Applejack looked back at the building and saw that a van was pulling up. Not just any van, but the same van they saw earlier. Seeing this made Applejack smirk and turn to Rainbow Dash saying, "Are you sure about that Dash?"
"She just showed up, didn't she?" Applejack nodded making Rainbow Dash look at the van that just came. "I should have complained two hours ago." She mutters.
The same girl that was with those strange men from earlier just climbed out of the van and grabbed some crates. Applejack stood up and addressed her team. "Ladies, I have a bold and daring plan. There's no time for hesitation. My orders must be carried out without question..." Applejack looked and saw that Rainbow Dash, Twilight, and Pinkie were already headed down there. "Girls?" After sighing she just gave in. "Girls, wait up!" Now she jumped off the rooftop and followed the others.
While she was loading up the last crate the ponies jumped her. They all readied their weapons and Rainbow was the first to speak to her. "Okay we can do this the easy way or, my vote, the hard way."
Twilight the stepped in. "Yeah, look at it logically. There are four of us and one of you. What are you gonna do?" Just as she said that the girl then surprised them by pulling out one of those weird laser guns that those strange men had.
Rainbow Dash turned to Twilight. "You HAD to ask!"
She then fired the laser gun and them taking them by surprise. While this was happening she got back in the van, started it, and drove off. "Quick after her." Applejack said getting them all to go after the van. They thought it was best to take the rooftops so that way they won't lose the van, thankfully they were making great track. She thought she lost the ponies but when she looked in the mirror she saw them on the rooftops, so she rolled down the window and fired the laser gun at them again. Trying to make sure that they don't get hit they also slow down a bit and now the van was nearly lost. With time running out Applejack pulled out one of her ninja stars. "Not gonna let you get away." She said as she throws it.
Applejack made a successful throw as the ninja star popped one of the van's tires, making it crash and flip over. Knowing that this was the only lead they had to rescue those humans they went to the van and search for something useful.
Wondering if the one that drove the van was OK after that they hid behind a building. Applejack made some hand jesters to tell the others what to do. Unfortunately none of them knew what she was talking about.
Rainbow Dash was the one that broke the silence. "I. Don't. Know. What. That. Means." She said while making fake hand jesters.
Applejack was annoyed by what she did and just said it. "Go around back."
"Why didn't she just say so?" Pinkie asked.
While searching Rainbow Dash opened the back of the van and a canister fell out and rolled near Pinkie. When they all looked at it they were all shocked by what came out of the van. The canister that came out of the van had the same goo that turned them all into mutants. Pinkie knew this just immediately.
"Dad?"

Rise of the Ponies part 2
Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Twilight, and Pinkie Pie stood in front of the canister staring in awe over it. Twilight picked it up. "So that's the-" Applejack began but Twilight finished for her.
"Mutagen that turned us into what we are now."
"Let's drink some of this." Pinkie said to all of them.
Rainbow Dash didn't understand why Pinkie said that. "What?" She got up in front of Pinkie. "Why would we do something as crazy as that?"
Pinkie rolled her eyes. "Because if a mutant gets mutated then you get a SUPER MUTANT!"
Twilight also started to not get her saying this and thought that, that plan was crazy. "Or you might get a pile of goo on the sidewalk."
"Either way it is an improvement." Rainbow Dash added sarcastically.
Applejack wanted to get to the point of this right about now. "Girls don't you see what this means." They all looked at her. "Whoever kidnapped those humans are the same people that have something to do with what happened to us 15 years ago."
"But wait." Twilight said. "How is that even possible?"
"With alien robots anything is possible." Pinkie said hoping to convince them that she was right about those guys.
Twilight however, still wasn't convinced. "Will you stop that already there are no such thing as alien robots."
"Oh yeah." Pinkie walked up to the girl that was in the van. "If there aren't any alien robots then how come I can pull her face off?" Pinkie then tried to pull the girls face off but nothing was happening. "Man this is glued on tight."
"Pinkie stop that's a regular human." Applejack said.
Pinkie looked at her again and thought that Applejack might be right and let her go. "Alright she's good, but the others were aliens in robot bodies."
"ENOUGH!" Rainbow Dash shouted while grabbing the mutagen from Twilight and walked over to the girl. "Start talking. Who are you and what's going on?"
She looked at Rainbow Dash and said, "The names Lightning Dust and I have nothing to say to you hideous freaks."
Rainbow just grabbed Lightning Dust and pulled her up to her face. "Oh really. Well that's because you don't know us." Rainbow threw her to Twilight and Pinkie and they grabbed hold of both her arms. "You see we were just regular girls until-" She unscrewed the canister and opened. "-we got hit by a little of this."
"Whoa now what are you doing?"
"Play a little game I like to call 'Mutation Ru-let'." She said holding the mutagen up to Lightning Dust. "Now you might hot like me or you might look disgusting and deformed. Like Pinkie here."
"Hey!"
Rainbow started to look more threatening. "So." She started to tip the mutagen a little bit making it come out very slowly. "You want to take the chance."
She poured it slowly to Lightning Dust's face making her shiver with fright upon seeing this. After a few more seconds of this she couldn't take anymore of this. "OK!" Rainbow then stopped the pouring. "They called themselves the Kraang. They've been gathering all the scientists they could find."
"Well that worked out." Applejack said to Rainbow Dash.
"Well of course it did." Rainbow assured her. "Would you want to look like Pinkie?"
"I'm right here." Pinkie said looking a bit sad.
Applejack walked up to Lightning Dust. "Why are they gathering scientists?"
"How should I know?" She then looked and Rainbow Dash still holding the mutagen. "All I know is that they are taking them out of Canterlot but I don't know where?"
"This is amazing." Twilight said. "That's boy's mom is a scientist and I'm a scientist. I think he's going to love me." She said with hope in her eyes.
"I don't think your his type." Lightning said to Twilight.
"Well where are they now?" Applejack asked.
Later on the rooftops the ponies were there with Lightning Dust being watched by Pinkie Pie. She did some ninja moves to try and intimidate her. Applejack was holding a telescope and looked at the building that Lightning said the Kraang were at. "There's got to be at least 20 of these guys."
"Yeah." Twilight said. "And those are the ones that we can see."
However, Rainbow Dash was excited about this bit of news and brought out her sai. "Alright an all you can beat buffet." However, she was stopped by Applejack.
"We can't just run in there." She then looked back at the building. "We need a plan."
"Why?"
"Think rainbow head." Twilight said. "There are innocent lives in there and they might be in danger if we crew this up."
"Then we won't screw it up."
"Boy I could sure go for some more of that pizza right about now." Pinkie said while being near them. They all looked at her. "What I can't be the only one that's hungry right?"
Applejack was the first to talk to her. "Where's Lightning Dust?" Hearing her ask that made Pinkie realize what she did. They all looked and saw that she escaped. They sw her running off and Applejack quickly said, "Quick get her."
They all went after her. Traveled down the fire escape, and jumped the rest of the way down. They then quickly lost track of where she went and they split up in two team: Applejack and Rainbow Dash and Twilight and Pinkie. Twilight and Pinkie run to a wall. "Maybe she went over the wall." Twilight then gave Pinkie a boost to try and get her.
Pinkie then crashed into many then while falling down to the other side but couldn't see Lightning Dust anywhere. "I don't think she went this way." Pinkie said while in pain.
Applejack and Rainbow Dash ran into an alley but still couldn't see her that was until the heard a can move. Applejack looked at Rainbow Dash and motioned to her that she might not know that they were there. Thinking quickly she thought that they should act like they can't find her.
"Oh no how could we let her get away?"
"Whoa now you're the leader so you let her get away."
"You're not helping."
"Not trying to help."
Applejack sighed and said, "Fine you want me to lead then I'll do it." She then got back to acting. "Let's just go back to the lair we got get some equipment and drive Lightning Dust's van to the building. They will think it's her and they'll let us all in."
"And then we bust some heads?"
"And then we bust some heads!"
"I love it when things turn out like this." They then left leaving Lightning Dust there to hear everything they said.
Back at the lair Twilight was busy making them some equipment to go and save those humans from the Kraang. Meanwhile Rainbow Dash was in the kitchen talking. "I know you're worried about me and I'm not going to lie to you. We've never gone into a fight like this one in fact it's our first fight ever and I don't know how things will be like while we're fighting. But don't worry I promise I'll make it back. I love you." Turned out that she was talking to her pet 'Tank'.
"Aww!" Rainbow Dash looked behind and saw Pinkie. "Are you talking to you're pet turtle?"
"Tortoise" Rainbow corrected. She then felt embarrassed. "Shut up!"
"That's adorable."
"I'm going to rip that tail off of you." Rainbow said now chasing after Pinkie.
She still kept on chasing her while Applejack was making the plan to stop the Kraang. "I think this plan is going to work."
"No plan ever works out when making contact with the enemy." Celestia said from behind Applejack. "It's how you react to the unexpected which will determine if you and your sisters succeed in the end."
Applejack however, didn't know about this entire thing. "Sensei am I really ready for this?"
"Applejack I made you leader for a reason."
"What is that reason?"
"That is for you to find out on your own."
"But what if I fail in the end."
Celestia looked at her with assuring eyes. "Sometimes failure is something that any leader will have to face Applejack. After all that is what I had to face back in my home in Japan in my final battle with my enemy, Nightmare Moon." She then started to tell a story. "Years ago Luna, which was what Nightmare Moon was called back then, had once been my friend. But the love between a man caused her jealously to turn into anger. She just couldn't take it and tried to destroy me. Even though I survived my entire world crumbled around me. The battle took the life of my beloved Sombra and I lost my baby daughter Lula." She then ended her story.
"But that's what I'm say." Applejack said. "What if I lose everything?"
"I lost many things that day." Celestia said. "My family and my home." She then looked at Applejack. "However, I have gained thins along the way like the four of you."
This did help Applejack a little. "Don't worry Sensei we'll get through this." That was when Pinkie ran off screaming while Rainbow Dash was still chasing her causing Applejack to groan.
Back at the building keeping the humans and the Kraang the boy kept on banging at the door trying to get the Kraang to get them out. "You can't keep us locked in here. We have our rights."
His mother then talked to him. "I don't think that they care about that Flash."
"Well we can't just sit here and do nothing. We have to get out of here."
"How?"
Flash thought about it and came up with something. "Owww...ohhh the pain." This caught the attention of one of them. "It hurts so bad." The Kraang the opened the cell door and was about to be attacked by Flash's mother only for it to see her before she did anything. Flash however, grabbed onto it and tried to throw it down being unsuccessful until it threw him back in the cell and closed the door. "Well I guess we can just sit here then."
Outside the building Lightning Dust and the Kraang were on guard waiting for the ponies to come. "They'll be here any moment now." Lightning Dust said to them.
"Kraang are those that are coming to this place coming to this place?"
"I lack that knowledge Kraang, I will inquire of Kraang about that knowledge. Do you have the knowledge if those who are coming to this are near the place Kraang?"
"THEIR PONIES?!" Lightning Dust shouted at them. "CALL THEM PONIES?! ARE THE PONIES HERE?!"
One of them pointed out to the street. "There are lights of a vehicle which contain those that which you wish us to call the ponies coming to this place which you wish us to call here."
"Wait are you talking about?" Lightning Dust asked until she looked at the vehicle that the Kraang pointed out.
The van that Lightning Dust use to have was speeding down their path and the Kraang started blasting it. No matter how many times it got blasted it still wouldn't slow down until all of them on the ground jumped out of the way. The van then crashed into the building being destroyed in the process. Lightning Dust landed in a bunch of weeds and when she looked back at the explosion some mutagen was thrown on to her, spilling on her. Lightning then felt something weird and painful going on with as the affect of the mutagen made her sprout parts of a weed all over her body as she was screaming in pain.
The Kraang looked in the vehicle and saw that it was deserted. There wasn't anyone in there. "The ones coming to this place are not in the vehicle bringing them to this place."
"Then in what place are the ones called the ponies?"
While they weren't looked the ponies were climbing the wall with some equipment that Twilight made for them. Pinkie looked at the van. "Wow good that van showed up to distract them." This made Twilight face palm herself with her wall climbing gear making her feel pain.
"That was the plan." Applejack told Pinkie. "We knew Lightning Dust was listening to us back in the alley so we made her think that we were in the van."
Pinkie was confused by this. "But we weren't in the van."
Applejack just shrugged that off. "Just keep climbing." With that they climbing until the reached the top.
When they reached a hatch they opened it and saw that two of the Kraang were underneath them so Applejack and Rainbow Dash jumped them. They kept on punching them non stop until they were down and the rest of them entered the base so they could keep going.
While moving about the base Twilight kept staring in awe over the technology. "This is unbelievable. They're using a metal alloy that even I don't know."
"Wow!" Rainbow said sarcastically. "A metal alloy you don't know now that boggles the mind."
"You want to talk technology with me then bring it."
'I don't and-"
"Girls what part of being in an enemy lair do you not understand." Applejack said making them both focus on the mission again.
They turned a corner they saw something unbelievable, except for Pinkie. They saw about seven robots that had a pinkish purple light on them along with an alien brain like this in their chests. Some of them even have a blue casing all over their bodies. And they were all carrying blasters. Looks like Pinkie was right.
Twilight was the first to speak. "Whoa! Alien robots!"
Pinkie looked with a bit of frustration. "Alien robots huh, where have I heard that before. Oh yeah I'VE BEEN SAYING THAT FOR HOURS!" Pinkie's shouting caught the attention of the Kraang as they started blasting them.
They all ran toward them and Applejack and Rainbow kicked one of each. Pinkie leaped off of one of them making it back up and then she started whacking it with her nunchucks and kicked it. Twilight whacked one with her staff twice and used her staff to grab its neck and back flipped it. Rainbow took one to the ground and stabbed it with one of her sai and did the same with another one. Only two left. Applejack jumped off the wall on one of them and slashed it in half. While the last one was blasting her she used her swords to deflect the blasts and one of them hit it in the eye. She then jumped and slashed it in the chest finishing it off.
They all got together as the last one was powering down. After it powered down the alien in it's chest came and shrieked at them. Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and Twilight screamed but Pinkie hit it on the head with her nunchucks causing it to be dazed.
Pinkie grabbed it and looked at the others. "See it's alien brain thing. I told you. I told you! But did you listen? NO! Because you all think I'm just a bone head." Just then the alien came back to its senses and bit Pinkie. She screamed in pain and shook it off which while being thrown off hit a button that alerted the other Kraang.
"PINKIE?!" They all shouted in unison.
"Alright that was my mistake. But I was still right about the brain thing you gotta give me that."
Applejack looked and saw that the Kraang were headed their way. "Let's move."
"Where?" Asked Rainbow.
Twilight looked up and noticed something. "I think those are power conduits."
"Oh are they?" Rainbow asked sarcastically. "Thanks for sharing."
"Don't you get it?" Twilight said to Rainbow. "The conduits are converging in that direction so what ever is happening there is important." She said as she left in that direction. Applejack looked at Rainbow with a smug look and pointed at the direction Twilight was going.
Pinkie got right behind her and said, "You just got spanked." She then started laughing and pointed at Rainbow which made her finger get squished by her. "MERCY!" Pinkie screamed alloying Rainbow to let go and they all left.
The four of them ran to the direction Twilight pointed out and while running Twilight found them. "Here they are." She saw both the people the Kraang captured. She looked at the lock and was immediately scared since she didn't know how to pick it and to make matters worse more of the Kraang showed up and started shooting.
"We'll hold them off and you pick the lock." Applejack said to Twilight as she grabbed her swords and swung at two of them.
Twilight looked back at the prisoners. "Don't worry I'll get you both out of here."
Flash was both relieved and confused. "Alright then weird horse thing."
"Actually I'm a pony. I'm Twilight Sparkle."
"Flash Sentry."
"Wow that's a really great na-" Twilight was interrupted by Applejack being bumped into her.
"The lock Twilight!" She said looking at Twilight then back at the enemy.
"Oh right." Twilight said as she got to work on the lock.
She removed the panel and started to mess with the wires. Pinkie jumped in the air while swinging her nunchucks at three of them knocking down more as they fell backward. Flash started to get impatient with this. "Not to rush you but can you please hurry up."
"You think it's easy trying to pick a lock that has a certain technology that none of us are aware of?" Twilight asked him.
"Point taken."
After knocking another to the ground Rainbow Dash looked back at Twilight and saw that she still didn't pick it yet. "just let me handle it." Rainbow said as she pushed Twilight out of the way and used one of her sai to stab the lock repeatedly. While this was happening three Kraang robots entered their dungeon room on the other side. Rainbow then opened the door only to see that they have been taken away again. They all looked back and saw that some were still shooting at them and ran in the direction the Kraang took them.
They reached an exit only to have one of them follow them nearly there. Rainbow then slammed the door on it while it tried to reach for them. Since that was happening Rainbow elbowed and kicked it until it's arm fell and she used the arm to block the door. "That she hold them for now." She looked back at the others and saw that they were looking at her weirdly. "What?"
Applejack was the one to speak. "You are seriously twisted."
"Thanks."
They heard someone yell and looked up to see Flash and his mom nearly boarding a helicopter. They rushed to get them back but was then stopped by two vines with thorns that just showed up. They looked up and saw a giant weed like thing with a heart near it's neck area and had claws that when they open reveal a tentacle like thing inside.
"Uh-oh!" Was all Pinkie could say as the creature in front of them was looking at them.
The weed like creature shrieked and looked back at them and talked. "You did this me." It said threateningly. "Now you're going to pay."
Applejack knew then and there who this was. "It's Lightning Dust." She said shocking all of them. "She mutated into a...giant weed." She then saw that she was trying to move.
"You would think that she would turn into something lightning related." Pinkie said. "Or maybe something dust related."
"Yeah." Rainbow said to Pinkie. "If you were an idiot."
"But her name is Lightning Dust."
"So."
"You don't understand science."
Just then a part of Lightning Dust ripped apart and formed to legs. "I'll crush you ponies."
Twilight thought of something to say. "Would it help if we say that it was an accident?" Lightning Dust responded by threatening them with her new claws. "So I'll take that as a no." She then swung at them and then jumped to avoid the strike.
Applejack jumped up and swung her sword at one of her tentacles spreading a weird purple goo out from it. "Ahh!" Pinkie screamed as she tried to get away from the purple goo. "Don't let it touch me. Don't let it touch me." Just then some of it splattered on her leg. "Ahh it touched it." Just when that happened the tentacle that Applejack cut of regenerated making her better.
They were astounded by what happened but the looked at the helicopter and saw that they were now being boarded along with the Kraang. Applejack looked over at Twilight an said, "Twilight help them." Twilight then ran toward Applejack who was going to give her a leg up. Applejack then launched Twilight up at the rooftop and she landed on it.
While she was up there the others were still fighting. Pinkie cut of a few of her tentacles but then got hit by one them which Applejack then cut. She then cut another one and was hit by a different one. Rainbow ran up from behind and used the wall climbing gear that Twilight made to scrap Lightning's legs. Lightning swung at her but Rainbow grabbed hold of her and pulled her down so she could stomp on her head and jump and do a back flip on her. She then ran but only for Lightning to use tentacle to grab her and throw toward the others.
Pinkie was the first to speak. "Dust Weed is too powerful." The others were confused by what she just called her.
"Dust Weed?" Rainbow asked.
"Well her name was Lightning Dust and now she's a weed so I thought that-"
"We get it."
"Right now we need to hold it off until Twilight comes back." Applejack said. Just then the door that Rainbow blocked was then knocked open more of the Kranng came out. "While at the same time not getting shot at by one those robots."
"With brains." Pinkie added with irritation.
"Let it go already Pinkie." Rainbow said.
Twilight then made to the Helicopter Pad and saw that it was now leaving with them on it. She then grabbed her staff, ran toward the helicopter, and used her staff as a pole vault which launched her in the air and grabbed the helicopter before it got away. This did not go unnoticed by one of the Kraang as Twilight was struggling to hold her grip on the railing.
Back at the fight Rainbow was taking on Lightning Dust, who is now called Dust Weed, while Applejack and Pinkie were dealing with the Kraang. While fighting them Applejack and Pinkie jumped out of the way of two of them while they were shooting making them shoot Dust Weed instead, which made her mad and swing at them all.
"Have you even thought of what we should do AJ?" Rainbow asked.
"I'm working on it." Just then Dust Weed grabbed Applejack. Though while in the air Applejack saw the power conduits that Twilight pointed out and then she thought of what to do. "That's it girl the power conduits."
"I thought we were done talking about that." Rainbow said.
Applejack then looked and the power conduits and saw that they were plugged into a generator. "Dash, Pinkie!" She then did some hand jesters that to her luck they knew so that way she would say it out load. Applejack then swung her sword and the tentacle that grabbed her so she was now free.
Back on the helicopter Twilight was still there holding her grip. Just then one of the robots looked down at her. "Oh good for a second I thought this would be an easy victory." Just then said robot was now blasting at her making her rearrange her grip so she raised up so her hooves could meet with the Kraang droids head with a ninja star she had and then using her hooves grabbed and through it out of the copter.
While falling the robot started firing and the copter making it wobble in flight and Flash flew out and grab the railing that Twilight was on. Just then he accidentally let go and started falling. Twilight then let go and caught Flash while jumping toward the rooftop making them land safely.
"You alight?" Twilight asked Flash.
Flash was alright but then he looked up and saw the helicopter leave with his mother. "Mom!"
Dust Weed started to swing and tried to grab Rainbow and Pinkie with no luck. They looked behind and saw four Kraang and antagonized them making them fire their weapons. They responded by jumping out of the way allowing Dust Weed to get shot at and back up toward the generator which Applejack jumped onto.
Twilight and Flash soon joined them and Twilight saw what they were doing. "What do they think they are doing? They're leading her to the power generator." Then she saw Applejack pull out two ninja stars. "That's so crazy. Or brilliant. Or, or both."
Applejack then threw her ninja stars at Dust Weed's back making her turn around and look at her. "Come on get me 'Stink Weed'." She said as the started to antagonize her. Dust Weed attacked but she jumped on her and out of the way. Now she started to antagonize the Kraang making them shoot. She jumped out of the way and the blasts that came from their weapons shot the generator. The generator was then damaged which shocked Dust Weed and then explode which caught her in the process. Soon bit of Dust Weed were everywhere and the ponies and Flash soon left.
Six of the Kraang still remained as they watched what happened. "Kraang, the ones in this place are not in this place where they were."
"The ones are called 'ponies' Kraang. They are dangerous to what we are doing in this place and other places."
"Yes I have knowledge of that. The ponies must be eliminated from all places." The alien inside it then started to smile evilly.
What was left of Dust Weed laid there on the place where the generator exploded. At first it seemed to be lifeless but it's heart starting pumping again. Dust Weed was still alive.
Over at another building Flash and the ponies were taking a breather on one of the fire escapes. "Are you going to be OK Flash?" Twilight asked.
"I'll be fine." He responded. "My aunt and uncle said I could stay as long as I want to." He then sighed and looked up. "But I'll be a lot better when the freaks that kidnapped my mom are defeated."
"Can't the law enforcement help out?" Applejack asked.
"Funny you should ask. When you say something like mom was taken by aliens in robot bodies they might now actually believe what you say."
"I know how you feel." Pinkie said interpreting what she went through.
"Don't worry Flash." Twilight assured him. "I promise you that we won't stop until we find you're mother."
"We won't?" Rainbow asked Twilight.
Applejack elbowed Rainbow after she asked that. "No we won't."
"Thanks but I should ask you for something that isn't your burden." Flash said looking down.
"You're wrong Flash." Twilight said holding his hand with hers. "It is our burden and we'll help no matter what." Flash then smiled at that and Twilight then saw that she was holding hands with and backed away while blushing. Just then the others were jumping on the next rooftop out of here. Before Twilight left both her and Flash waved goodbye. With all that done she left with the others.
Back in the lair Applejack was with Celestia. "I'm impressed Applejack." Celestia said. "You proved to be more of an effective leader even during dire circumstances."
"Thanks Sensei and now I think I know why you made me the leader."
"Oh really? Why do you think that?"
"Because you saw inside a true warrior that can forge my sisters into the heroes that were destined to become."
Celestia thought of what she said and answered. "No."
Applejack was now confused. "No? Then why did you make the leader if not for that purpose?"
"Because you asked." Applejack was getting more confused by every word that Celestia told her. "Like a true leader you need to know that there are no right or wrong choices."
"So you could have picked any of us to be the leader."
"Yes."
Applejack's eyes shot wide by her next thought. "Even Pinkie!"
"No that would have been wrong." Hearing Celestia say that made Applejack relieved.
"HEY GIRLS GET IN HERE! WE MADE THE NEWS!"
On the news reported by the well known reporter 'Trenderhoof' they saw that they did make the news. "A report of, get this, ninjas, in Canterlot. After a disturbance in the city the police recovered this." He showed a picture of one of their ninja stars. "For your channel 179 news this Trenderhoof saying 'Hai ya!"
Pinkie was more then excited about this. "Don't you see girls. We're going to be famous."
Celestia then came up to them. "All of you must be more careful." She told them all. "A ninjas most powerful weapon is the shadows. So all of you must be careful about being seen next time."
Rainbow shrugged it off. "Relax Sensei ever since this channel was named 'Discovery Family' people have been watching less and less of it. So what's the worst that could happen.
Tokyo, Japan
In one of the buildings one person was watching the news back in Canterlot and when she was the image of the ninja star she immediately recognized it. "So she's in Canterlot training a new army. At last I can finish what I started so long ago." She looked at one of her servants. "Prepare my jet." She then grabbed her special one of a kind helmet that ran across her eyes but didn't cover her nose and mouth. "Time for our family reunion to begin my dear sister."

Pony Temper
On one roof of a building all four of the ponies are there watching out through the city of Canterlot. Twilight is using a telescope to look even further and try to find more of the Kraang. "Anything?" Applejack asked Twilight.
"Nothing yet." Twilight assured her.
All while this was going on Rainbow Dash was sitting around just waiting with Pinkie Pie near her now poking her head to pass the time, much to Rainbow's annoyance. She poked her two times and on the third try Rainbow grabbed Pinkie's finger and squeezed it causing her to scream. "Girls!" Applejack said to both Rainbow and Pinkie. "While we are up here we need to be silent."
"Sorry AJ." Pinkie said to her. "I'll scream quieter." She then poked Rainbow another time and Rainbow squeezed her finger again and threw her across the roof.
Rainbow grabbed a hold of her and spoke right next to her. "Say it!"
"Dash be quiet." Applejack reminded.
"Not until Pinkie says it."
Pinkie rolled her eyes and sighed. "Rainbow Dash is all wise and powerful."
Rainbow then grabbed her by the head. "And!"
"And she's better than me in every possible way."
She let go and punched her down. "And!"
"I'm a lonely worm not fit to live on the same planet as she is because she's amazing and I'm a dirt clod."
She then liked her finger and placed it near her head. "AND!"
"In the history of the universe there has never been-"
"OK enough." Applejack told them.
Rainbow got off of Pinkie and walked up to Applejack. "Forget it AJ we've been up here all night. The Kraang aren't coming."
"Will you just have a little patience Dash?" Applejack said.
"Don't worry I know they are coming." Twilight said to Rainbow Dash. "I have reliable Intel."
"Intel?" Rainbow asked sarcastically with a smirk. "You mean Flash told you." She said pointing at Twilight.
Twilight looked unamused by what she said and Pinkie moved right behind her. "You mean your booooyfriend." Twilight then started to get angry.
"He's not my boyfriend Pinkie." She said getting in Pinkie's face. "He's a boy who happens to be our friend who's mom got kidnapped by those alien freaks that are going to break into the lab next to us and we're going to stop them."
Rainbow Dash still wasn't convince by this. "Or maybe you're wrong and we're wasting our time up here instead."
"What's going on up here?"
All four of them looked to the side and saw that a human saw them. It was a middle aged man with dark grey suit with violet pants and dark greyish blue violet hair. He looked at all four of them and was a little surprised. "What is this 'Dress-up'?"
Applejack was the first to talk. "No sir we were jus-"
All his attention was then focused on his broken satellite dish. "Which one of you smelly donkeys was the one that broke my satellite dish." He said angered at them.
"DONKEYS!" Rainbow shouted back at him. "Look who's talking." She reached for her sai but was pulled back by Applejack.
"Forget it Dash." She then let go of her. "We're leaving."
Just as they were about to leave the man went back to mocking them. "That's right. Go away and listen to your mommy." That was enough to send Rainbow over the edge yet again.
She grabbed both of her sai and pointed at him. "You better watch it buddy."
"Oh no I didn't know you were carrying salad tongs with you."
"Salad tongs." She then started running toward him while the other three grabbed hold of her. "I'm not going to take this from a sad low life with a stupid hair cut like yourself."
While all this was going on five members of the Kraang came by and started loading a van up with Mutagen. Just as they were about to leave the overheard Rainbow Dash's shouts. "Who are you calling a low life?" The Kraang looked up to see that the ponies were there while the man kept on yelling. "You want a piece of me?"
"When I'm done a piece of you is going to be all that's left." Just as fire started to form in Rainbow's eyes a laser blast was fired making her jump out of the way.
The looked and saw four of the Kraang with them all wearing human suits. "Kraang droids!" Applejack as the reached for their weapons. "Thanks for being quiet Dash." They readied their weapons and the Kraang did the same.
The Kraang fired laser blasts and the ponies started to dodge them. All while this was happening the man took shelter being the door he came through and saw what was happening. "My gosh. They're some kind of-" He reached for his phone and started recording the entire fight. "kung-fu mules."
Rainbow Dash dodged left and right, smacked the gun out of one of them, grabbed it's head and used her knee to to hit it three times until she threw it on the ground. Applejack did a quick flip and kicked another one. Pinkie started jumping to dodge the blasts and used her nunchucks to smack the third one in the face and to the ground. Twilight twirled around the blasts and used her staff to hit the last one making them all leave the scene.
"Keep going 'kung-fu mules." They all looked and saw the man with a phone in his hand. "This is pure gold."
"We aren't mules you blind moron." Rainbow Dash said to him.
"And that wasn't Kung-fu." Twilight said to him. "It's an ancient Japanese battle art."
"Girls he's got us on video." Applejack said reminding them what just happened.
Rainbow Dash looked more angry and what she said. "Well he doesn't have a video for much longer." She ran to him but he closed the door quick making her smash her in the door.
Twilight heard sirens and knew what was coming. "Fire trucks are coming we got thirty seconds."
"Let's get out of here." Applejack said making them leave the rooftop.
"Wait we need to find that guy and break his phone." Rainbow Dash said to Applejack. "And also his face." She saw that the three of them already left and sighed angrily while leaving herself.
Back in their hideout all four of them were now in the presence of Celestia waiting to be told off for what happened. "Not only did Rainbow Dash ruin the mission by alerting the Kraang but all four of you also got caught on video." She said mostly to Rainbow Dash.
Rainbow Dash looked up. "Sensei you should have been there. He was the meanest, most nastiest person in the world."
"Except for you." Pinkie said making Rainbow slap her in the back of the head.
"You should have heard the insults he was throwing at us. They were so.......insulting."
Celestia didn't pay much mind to what Rainbow Dash had said. "Oh I didn't realize he said mean things. Of course you had no choice but to JEOPARDIZE YOUR MISSION."
"Burn!" Pinkie said looking all smug near Rainbow Dash.
"You are ninjas, you work in the shadows not being seen by anyone. This will be difficult if there is proof of your existence in High-Definition."
Rainbow looked up at her again. Look we know where this guy is so we just have to find him and shake him until the tape pops out."
"There is no tape." Twilight said. "Cell phones use flash memory a-" She stopped once she saw Rainbow getting angry again.
"Rainbow Dash you should know that anger is self destructive." Celestia said to her.
"I always thought it was 'others' destructive."
"Rainbow Dash stand up." Celestia said getting Rainbow Dash to stand up.
Pinkie looked up at her. "Somebody's in trouble."
Later on Applejack, Twilight, and Pinkie were holding bow and suction arrows with Rainbow Dash in the center and Celesta in the back. "Now I want you to evade all of the arrows." Celestia said.
"Not going to be a problem."
"Hajime!" All three of them fired their arrows at Rainbow Dash one by one and she managed to dodge them all. When the last one was fired Rainbow Dash saw it and dodged making Celestia grab it as it was about to pass by her. "Yame! Again only this time Applejack, Twilight Sparkle, and Pinkie Pie insult Rainbow Dash."
Hearing that made them a bit uneasy. "Wait you want us to insult her?" Twilight spoke out.
"Yes!"
"And she can't fight back?"
"Nope."
"I'm starting to feel good about this plan."
"Hajime!"
All three of them moved around Rainbow Dash in a circle. "You move like bloated buffalo."
She fired an arrow and Rainbow did a split and pin dodging it. "I do not."
"And you are always whining...'poor me, no one understands me'."
Applejack fired her arrow. "You don't understa-" Rainbow then got hit by the arrow Applejack shot in the back.
"And...oh, and you don't keep your back straight when doing any of our training exercises." Twilight shot another arrow in her back. "And you're ugly." Another arrow.
"And gassy."
"STOP IT!"
"What's the matter Dash...you look so tough but in the inside you are a scared little baby."
"Who needs her bottle."
"And her diaper changed."
"What the matter Dash are you going to cry now?"
"I. AM. NOT. GOING. TO. CRY." Just then she was all covered in arrows with one arrow on her face ending it.
Pinkie sighed in relief. "I wish this moment could last forever."
"You know what." Rainbow Dash threw her sai on the ground. "Forget this, this is stupid."
"Aww it didn't."
Rainbow walked up to Celestia. "This is what I'm talking about." Celestia said to Rainbow Dash. "Patience and Humility and you can't be a true ninja unless you master both." Pinkie started laughing at Rainbow making her angry at her. "UNDERSTOOD!" Celestia said getting Rainbow's attention.
"Hai Sensei."
"Now you must get the tape back using patience not force." Rainbow shrugged at that looking down.
Back in the city the man with the video came out of his building while talking on the phone about the video he recorded. "I'm telling that these things are mules and they know Kung-Fu." He said through the phone line. "You can't just tell me that that's not wroth anything." Just then the ponies jumped him into a circle. "I'll call you back." He then ended his call. "Lay one hoof on me mules and I'm calling the cops."
Rainbow was the first to speak although she was struggling to say it nicely. "We are not going to hurt you." This got his attention. "I know we got off on the wrong...hoof last time. Some things were said and...we would like it if you gave us the video back." The man still wasn't convinced that was until Applejack pushed on Rainbow's shoulder. "Please!"
"What are you going to give me for it." This got Rainbow confused. "Well I figured I got you over a barrel and you're going to have to make it worth my while."
"Oh I'll make it worth you're while. I WON'T TAKE YOUR FACE AND SMASH IT THROUGH TH-"
"Alright Rainbow Dash I can handle this." Applejack interrupted Rainbow before she did anything bad. "So what will it take to get the video?"
The man thought about it. "Ummm...a cool mill should take care of it."
"Yeah a cool mill of what exactly?"
"A million dollars."
"We don't have a million dollars."
"We do have some Canadian quarters I fished out of a sewer outlet." Pinkie said hoping that would get him to give the video.
To bad it didn't work. "Look mules if you aren't going to pay for this video then I'll just have to hang on to it until someone else does."
"THAT'S IT." Rainbow then grabbed the man shoved him to the ground. "Give us the phone and I promise that you will live to the sun rise once again." Unknown to them they attracted the attention of more of the Kraang.
Applejack looked and saw that they were in a van coming their way. "Girls the Kraang!" They were speeding down toward them and Applejack looked over at Rainbow Dash. Dash!" Rainbow looked away from the man and saw the Kraang was coming.
The car carrying some of them sped up and Applejack pushed both Rainbow and the man out of the way letting them get away. They looked and saw another one coming. "Let's not let this one get away."
Rainbow looked around and found a trash can that she grabbed and threw at the in oncoming truck. The truck then crashed into a garage stopping them from going any further. "Well that was easy." Rainbow said with a smirk. Just then three of the Kraang came out of the back of the truck and started shooting their blasters yet surprisingly they are only hitting the garage behind them. "Ooookay." Rainbow said before they started to dodge the attacks.
They started toward the Kranng while still dodging the blasts. Rainbow jumped toward a garage door and jumped back swinging her leg at two of them them. She grabbed one of her said and one of them in the hand them grabbed the blaster from it and through it to the ground startling the man. He tried to move out of the way but was stopped from some of the blasts.
Twilight used her staff to hit one in the hand and knocked it to the ground. Pinkie was swinging her nunchucks back and forth until she made contact with one of the Kraang's head.
Just then the man was knocked back by one of the Kraang that flew back toward him into the truck his phone slid to the end of the truck. Rainbow and Applejack fought side by side with two of them knocking them both back and just then Rainbow saw the man grab his phone inside the truck. "Oh no you don't." She said leaving the fight.
One of the Kraang tried to hit Applejack with it's blaster but she blocked with both of her swords. "Dash what are you doing?" She knocked the Kraang droid away from her. "Get back her." She said as she started swinging her blade at the droid only to kicked to the ground by another. The one that kicked kept on kicking her and all she could see was Rainbow Dash still headed for the truck. "Dash!"
The man tried to get out of the truck only to be confronted by Rainbow Dash. "We've got some unfinished business." The man back himself to the end of the truck. "Give me the phone right now." She said as she raised her fist. The both heard something and turned around to see three of the Kraang enter the back of the truck along with them.
The truck then started to move and leave the scene. "Dash's in the van." Applejack said making the three ponies chase after it.
Rainbow started using her fists at them though they were dodging her attacks she is still making contact. She hit one two time knocking it back, hit another one behind her and used one of her sai to stab the blaster of the on her right, shocking it in the process and making the right side of the face of it's human costume vaporize and showing it's robot face. She knocked on the ground and threw another right next to the other one. She then continued to hit it until one of them grabbed hold of her and dragged her to the door of the truck.
She then bit it on it's arm though not doing any damage it let go of her allowing her to hit it's face knocking it down. She then reached for the man to come with her. "Come on lets get out of here."
"Forget it." The man told her. "You mules won't bey my phone then maybe these guys will."
"Listen you idiot we are not mules." Rainbow said getting into his face."
"Dash." Rainbow looked behind and saw that Applejack, Twilight, and Pinkie were chasing after them. "Get out of there." Twilight said as she held her staff."
Even though Dash wanted to leave she still couldn't leave the man behind. She grabbed him by the arm saying, "Let's get going." Only before she could drag him out the Kraang droid with half of his face missing grabbed her and threw her out of the truck and into the other ponies.
The man looked out and saw they weren't following them. "Goodbye mules." He then looked at the Kraang. "Thanks for the help guys and have a got a deal for you." He couldn't help but notice something odd about them. "So are you all triplets or what?" Just them the three Kraang droids walked toward him.
Back on the street the ponies just got up and saw that the van was gone. Rainbow looked up and saw that Applejack was looking at her. "Nice going Dash."
"What did I do?"
"What did you you?" Applejack repeated. "You left us in the middle of the fight to go yell at someone. We could have stopped them but now the tape-"
Twilight interrupted. "Actually it's a fla-"
"Not now." Applejack told Twilight. "Are in the hands of the Kraang." Twilight looked down and saw an oil trail that came from the van. "Now we don't know where-"
"Girls look." Twilight pointed at the oil trail. "The truck is leaking."
That make Applejack a bit relieved. "Great now we follow them to their hideout."
"And then we'll get to bash some bots." Rainbow said making them all look at her. "What?"
"We are going to smash some bots." Applejack said. "You are going home."
"What?" Rainbow looked over at Twilight and Pinkie. "Girls you aren't going to let her say this right?"
Twilight looked away slightly. "Well you weren't very much help." Rainbow was stunned by this.
Applejack continued. "I'm sorry Dash but until you learn to control your temper you aren't coming with us."
Pinkie looked back a bit sad. "Sorry sis." And with that they left Rainbow Dash making her throw both her sai at the street in anger.
Back in the lair Rainbow Dash was in the kitchen with her pet tortoise, Tank, who was chewing on a leaf. "I don't understand it. Why do I have to stay here while they fight. It's not my fault I have a temper and if anything my anger makes me a better fighter." She looked over at Tank. "You understand me right?" She moved to Tank a little bit. "Chew on your leaf if you understand." Tank then chewed on its leaf again. "Yeah I thought so."
"I understand you too Rainbow Dash." Rainbow was startled at first but then saw Celestia come in.
"Seriously you should knock first or something."
"Rainbow Dash allow me to tell you a story."
"Sensei I'm  not in the mood for one of your stories."
Celestia thought about and looked at Tank. "Tank chew on your leaf if you're in the mood for a story." Tank chewed its leaf again. "Very well. When I was a young women I fell in love with man."
"Whoa is it that time already." Rainbow said before she started to get up.
"Sit!" Celestia said making her sit back down.
"His name was Sombra and I wasn't the only one that loved him. There was another woman competing for his attention. Luna!"
"Nightmare Moon!" Rainbow Dash remembered.
"One day she insulted me in front of him and called me many names. At first I wondered why my own sister would such horrible things to me but she kept on doing it and she wouldn't stop, she refused to stop until I stop being with Sombra. I knew I couldn't let those insults go unpunished. Pretty soon our rivalry turned into hatred and I never saw my sister the same way ever again. That was until Nightmare Moon tried to finish me and because of that I lost my true love, Sombra."
"But Nightmare Moon insulted you and you no choice." Rainbow assured her.
"No choice?" Celestia looked over at Rainbow Dash. "I could have not listened to her words and let her words wash over me like 'a river over stone'. Instead I let my anger get the best of me and she used my anger as a weapon." Celestia placed a hand on Rainbow's left shoulder. "That was I made, but what choice you make." With that Celestia left to let Rainbow Dash wonder what to do.
Back in the city Applejack, Twilight, and Pinkie continued to search for the van the Kraang were in. The looked around and corner and saw the oil trailing to one building showing that they made it. "We're here." Twilight said.
Pinkie however, still looked sad. "Are we really doing this without Dash?"
"Don't worry Pinkie we'll handle it." Applejack assured her.
"I don't know it feels like something is missing." Just them Applejack slapped Pinkie in the back of her head making her rub it in pain. "Thanks." She said with a smile.
"Happy to help now let's go." Applejack said making them head to the building.
They climbed up on top of the building and used the fire escape to help them find a way inside. Soon they made inside where they saw a bunch of boxes and spiders. While navigating through the many boxes in the building Twilight then slapped Pinkie.
"Ow you don't have to keep doing that."
"There was spider on you."
"Yeah well there's a spider on you too."
"No there isn't I wou-" Just then Pinkie jumped on her and slapped the front of her head continuously until Applejack came and reminded them to be quiet. Before they continued Pinkie turned back around and made sure that Twilight wouldn't do it again.
They looked on ahead and saw the Kraang along with the man with the video of them was tied up in a chair, with a giant clear container of mutagen right behind them. "The image that is the image on the phone is pleasing to the eye of Kraang."
"This is true, Kraang is looking what is known in earth terms as handsome."
"Well you guys drive a hard bargain so how about this." The man said to the Kraang as they kept looking at the video. "I'll drop it down to five hundred thousand and you can keep the phone." The Kraang droid holding the phone turned away from him. "How about four hundred thousand?"
"This is our fight with the creatures called the ponies."
"The usefulness of this would be useful with the more watching of this."
"Also this is being a good image of Kraang." The one with the phone said as it watches one Kraang droid fire two blasters on the video.
"We should be showing the image of Kraang to Kraang." Unknown to them the man was being dragged away from them.
The man looked back wondering what was happening and saw Applejack, Twilight, and Pinkie pulling him away from the Kraang. "Don't worry we're going to get you out of here." Applejack whispered.
"What about my phone?" Applejack then shushed at him. "Don't you shush me I'm not leaving without my phone." When he said that he got the attention of the Kraang.
"Stop the ones that needs to be stopped." Two of the Kraang then readied their blasters.
Twilight then looked at Applejack. "Remind me why we have to rescue this guy."
The two droids started blasting them as the readied their weapons. Applejack ran toward one of them and shoved into it. The other one was blasting Pinkie but kept on missing only to be knocked down from Twilight's staff. Another was about to run into twilight when it jumped, Pinkie jumped toward it and kicked it.
The man was looking toward the ground and saw his phone. He started moving his feet toward it only Applejack to accidentally kick toward the tank full of mutagen, but he didn't care. He kept on scooting back, but then a blast from one of the Kraang knocked to the ground. He reached and finally grabbed his phone that also had a spider on it. However, once he reached for it one of the blasts hit a tube full of mutagen, spilling it out and onto him making him scream as the mutagen touched him.
The ponies and Kraang all stopped to hear the scream. "Kraang." One Kraang droid said to another. "Go to the place where the thing makes the noise it and tell us what thing makes that noise in that place."
The droid then moved toward the place they heard the only to be knocked away from there and to the ground. The Kraang looked at the droid and saw the alien thing inside to come out and run scared.
"I don't like the sound of that." Pinkie said. Then a giant creature came out and landed toward them. The creature was big and round with four spider legs on it's head. It had small arms and legs, six eyes, and two big sharp teeth and was black with red strips everywhere. "I don't like the look of it either."
Just then it talked indicating that it was the man with the phone. "What did you do me?" He asked angrily. "I'm hideous."
"Don't worry girls." Applejack said to Twilight and Pinkie. "The four of us can handle him."
"This might be a bad time to tell you this but you sent one of us home." Twilight said to Applejack.
"And right now I wish it was me." Pinkie said to both of them.
"This is your fault." The man (now mutated into a spider) shouted at them. "I'm going to rip your heads off."
"Alright girls." Applejack said as they readied their weapons. "Get ready to unleash the might power of justice."
Twilight sighed in annoyance. "Seriously just yell 'Get him'."
"Get h-" Before she could finish she was knocked into some boxes.
He looked at them and Twilight was ready to charge only for him to use his spider arms to block and push her back. Then Pinkie came and kept swinging her nunchucks only for him to do the same thing. Applejack then ran toward him from behind only for him to turn around and block the attack, making her jump out of the way and back to the others.
"Is that all you got?" Pinkie shouted at him. He then shout something out of his mouth and toward the ponies. The thing he shout the melted the medal floor showing that it was an acid like substance. Pinkie looked back and him and said, "The answer I was looking for was yes."
He then six more, three from behind them and three in front of them. They started to run and he ran after them using his spider arms to launch himself in front of them. He then continued to fire for acid toward them making them run away. Twilight then hit him in the back and tried to hit him again for him to block again and shoot acid. Applejack then ran in front to attack again and again he blocked and dodging now trying to bite her. Pinkie then threw a medal oil drum in his mouth and threw another one and hit him in the face.
He spit the other one out and made his way toward them. He ran toward them making them run away, using his arms as pincers and his mouth to try and bite them. The three of them stopped running and looked down to see that they were standing on a part of the floor was melting in a circle making them all fall down to the next floor.
The three of them got up with a bit of difficulty. "We're no match for Spider Bytez." Pinkie said to them.
"Spider Bytez?" Applejack asked.
"Well he's a spider and he bites so figured tha-"
"We get it."
He (now known as Spider Bytez) jumped to the floor they were in. He used his spider arms to lift himself up and jump in front of them making them scream. They tried to run but he kept on using his spider arms to help him get to them quicker.
"This bug is fast." Applejack said being shocked by this new enemy.
"Actually spiders aren't bugs." Twilight said to Applejack. "They are-" Before she could continue Spider Bytez used one of his spider arms and grabbed her and threw her to one of the boxes.
"Play time's over mules." He shot an acid sludge toward them making them back up. He then started walking toward them only to be stopped by someone talking behind him.
"Wow!" He looked behind and looked up to see Rainbow Dash. "I didn't think this guy could get any uglier." She jumped down and the two of them met face to face.
"Alright I think you've been punished long enough." Applejack said to Rainbow Dash. "Come and join us."
"What do you know." Spider Bytez said to Rainbow Dash. "It's the Kung-Fu mule with the salad tongs." He said sarcastically.
"Hey it's the stupid low life that's about to get his butt kicked." Rainbow said also being sarcastic, but not very.
He shot some acid sludge near her causing her to look away. In a moment of distraction Spider Bytez moved in a circle toward the other three shooting more acid sludges on the ground making them fall to the next floor.
Twilight looked down and saw they were standing on the tank full of mutagen. "How about we don't fall through this floor girls.
Back on the other floor it was Rainbow Dash vs Spider Bytez. "Dance for me mule." He then fired countless acid sludges making Rainbow back up from every shot. "Watch me turn your friends into meat for me to have later." He shot web on the floor and jumped threw the hole he made. Hearing him say that got her angry and chase after him. Using his web to steady herself she landed on top of him and cut the web before he got to the ground making him fall hard on the floor but not crack the glass of the tank. He got up and looked at Rainbow Dash ready to try and make her angry again. "Aww does the mule think she can stop me." Rainbow was trying her best to let him get to her. "What's the matter you wish to go back to helping a farm plow the corn field."
Rainbow too a deep breath and remembered what Celestia said to her. "Like a river over stone." She opened her eyes and charged at him.
He used two of his spider arms to hit her but she dodged them both leaving him open for her to punch and kick. She punched him a couple times and with the amount of strength in her hooves she kicked him. He used all four of his spider arms to attack from far away, but, using her sai, she grabbed one of them and when he fired another acid sludge she moved the spider arm she grabbed making him fire at himself.
He back away in pain and was a little awestruck. "That's some kung-fu mule."
Just then Pinkie, Applejack, and Twilight jumped into the fight right behind Rainbow Dash. "We're not 'Kung-Fu Mules'." She raised one of her sai at him. "We're 'Ninja Ponies'." With that said they all charged at him.
He used all four spider arms again stretching them toward all of them. Applejack blocked one of them and Pinkie used her nunchucks to grab onto one of them and use it as a jipline to move toward him and kick him in the face. He jumped in the air and both Twilight and Rainbow Dash jumped after him and kicked him to the ground. Unknown to him he dropped his phone and Rainbow stepped on it, breaking it.
"No! My phone!" The all moved toward him and he was looking back and forth at all of them. With nothing else to think about to help him in this situation he knew only one thing to do. "All of you are going to regret this." He then climbed up the tanks out the building making them all follow him.
They all reached the roof and saw Spider Bytez jumping from rooftop to rooftop out of there. "I wonder if we could find him a nice lady spider to help him through this." Twilight said.
Applejack turned to look at Rainbow Dash. "Well you did good Dash and I just want to say-"
"You don't have to apologize." Rainbow said.
"I wasn't going to."
"Well good."
Pinkie then came in. "Not bad Dash, for a bloated buffalo." Applejack and Twilight decided to look the other for they believed she deserved this. Rainbow then grabbed hold her and squeezed her tight. "OK RAINBOW DASH IS ALL WISE AND POWERFUL!"
"And."
"AND SHE'S BETTER THAN ME IN EVERY POSSIBLE WAAAAY!"
