When an ancient evil from Equestria's past returns once more to claim Equestria as its own, Twilight and friends, along with Luna and a pony named Emerald Soul, will set on an adventure to find the Guardians, who have gone missing in Equestria's time of need. With darkness rising, and the light fading, can Twilight and her friends save Equestria from The Shadow, or will Equestria be plunged into darkness forever?
