Fight of the Gods

The sounds of battle echoed through the everfree as gold and white unicorns fought white and gray pegasi  and thesterals. The ponies ruthlessly rammed into each other their bodies crumbling to the ground in a lifeless, maimed fashion. The soldiers stabbed, punched, shot spells but no actions even came close to the horribly beautiful killing of the two sisters. With a swipe of her head Luna cleanly decapitated a whole dozen of the enemies. Celestia shot golden beams of blinding white hot sun rays on the unicorn soldiers burning them to a disturbing crippling crisp. The two were unstoppable and full of wrath with enough power to destroy mountains coursing through their royal veins. The faces remained professionally emotionless, frightening the unicorns and sending some running. The sisters did not mind that a few we're escaping and might come back, that was good. If they didn't come back their lives wouldn't be ended but if they came back they might surrender. That was highly unlikely in both cases though. Crimson blood laced Luna's face and she somewhat shuddered under her armor. What an inhumane way to take care of this war, slaughter. But if the fools wanted to kill them, at least some. Celestia killed five unicorn soldiers and closed her eyes. "Oh you stupid little army stallions, I am truly sorry." Then she carried on letting a battle cry tear through her throat.

Celestia sighed taking of her bloodied armor. "Wave one has retreated, I am glad for that." Luna nodded solemnly. " sister did thou feel like a monster out there?" Celestia stopped dead in the middle of taking of the rest of her armor. "Yes sister, I did." She spoke after a while. Suddenly Luna pulled her sister into a hug burying her muzzle in Celestia's chest. Celestia returned the embrace and both sat there for a long time the only comfort was the show of care.
