In Whitetail Woods, a certain pegasus is getting ready to leave her house to go on a morning flight. This isn't just any regular pegasus though, she's the fastest flier in Equestria! She's also a future Wonderbolt and a weather pony. Well, that's what she wants everyone to think. In reality, she's something many people despise because of the war many years ago, but we don't have to worry about that now.

Rainbow Dash was flying around her cloud house in her blue sleeved, white T-shirt with her cutie mark in the center and her navy blue jeans when her mind started to drift.

One day, I should go back to Pegasopolis. Maybe I'll get to see my sister or my mom, and we won't ever have to leave each other again. It's all dad's stupid fault. I never asked for this power nor did I ask him to give me the ability to transform into a-

"Um...Rainbow Dash?"

Her thought process was cut off by Fluttershy calling her name. Fluttershy was also a pegasus. Like Dash, she wore a yellow sleeved, white shirt with her cutie mark on the front and light green jeans.

"Huh? Oh! Sorry, Flutters. What's up?"

"Twilight said she needed us at the library as soon as possible."

"Oh okay. Let's go then!" Rainbow Dash grabbed Fluttershy's arm and flew into the direction of Golden Oaks Library.

~10 seconds later~

"We're here!" Rainbow Dash screamed.

"Yeah...So, why did you want us to come, Twilight?" Fluttershy asked.

"I'll explain to everyone. Take a seat." Twilight said, motioning towards a sofa. Dash and Fluttershy proceeded to sit down next to the rest of the Mane 6, with the exception of Twilight who was standing in front of all of them.

"Princess Celestia has sent me a very important note. Apparently, some of her guards had found out that the Three Tribes didn't disappear as we had all expected it to. This has led to many questions, so she has decided to send us to investigate how the Three Tribes had survived. The settlements are pretty far away, so Princess Celestia had settled on the idea of teleporting us there. Any questions?"

"Ah have one. What're the names of those Three Tribes?" Applejack asked.

"Earth, Unicornia, and Pegasopolis. Just like in the Hearths Warming Eve tale."

Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy tensed up, but luckily no one noticed.

"Twilight, dear, how do you know that this is true? Not to question royalty, but maybe Princess Celestia's guards never knew for sure if it was the Three Tribes and everyone's just assuming that it's them."

Rarity did have a point, Dash. What if it's a false alarm?

"Even if that happened, it's still strange for ponies to not live in Equestria, so we'll still investigate."

Don't worry about it, Flutters. We can handle anything as long as we don't screw up and give away our secret.

"Do you think they'll be our friend? Wait...of course they will! Nevermind!" exclaimed Pinkie Pie.

"...Okay. Any other questions?"

Everyone shook their heads.

"Okay good. We have an hour to pack before the next train to Canterlot leaves. Meet back here in 45 minutes. Got it?"

Everyone gave her one strong nod.

~At Rainbow Dash's Cloud Mansion~

"Ohmygoshohmygoshohmy-"

Dash covered Fluttershy's mouth with her hand.

"Fluttershy! Don't worry. We can fix this. Just don't give any hints or we might be in trouble. Got it?"

After she nodded, Rainbow Dash took her hand off Fluttershy's face.

"Maybe we can try splitting up the group by pony race, just in case. We can just say that it would be faster," Fluttershy suggested.

"Good idea. Hopefully they'll buy it." Dash agreed.

Hopefully they won't find out.

~40 minutes later at the train station~

"Is everyone sure that they have everything?"

"For the twentieth time, Twilight, YES WE ARE ALL SURE!" Applejack said.

"Yeah! I even made sure to pack an extra party cannon in case of an emergency!" Pinkie Pie excitedly said whilst hopping around.

"Okay, okay. Just making sure." Twilight said.

They all turned their attention towards the train, which was screeching as it slowed to a stop.

Yep.

The Mane 6 hopped on the train to Canterlot, unaware of the mysteries that lie ahead.
