This isn't just any regular pegasus though, she's the fastest flier in Equestria! She's also a future Wonderbolt and a weather pony. Well, that's what she wants everyone to think. In reality, she's something many people despise because of the war many years ago, but we don't have to worry about that now. Rainbow Dash was flying around her cloud house in her blue sleeved, white T-shirt with her cutie mark in the center and her navy blue jeans when her mind started to drift. One day, I should go back to Pegasopolis. Maybe I'll get to see my sister or my mom, and we won't ever have to leave each other again. It's all dad's stupid fault. I never asked for this power nor did I ask him to give me the ability to transform into a- "Um...Rainbow Dash?" Her thought process was cut off by Fluttershy calling her name. Fluttershy was also a pegasus. Like Dash, she wore a yellow sleeved, white shirt with her cutie mark on the front and light green jeans. "Huh? Oh! Sorry, Flutters. What's up?" "Twilight said she needed us at the library as soon as possible." "Oh okay. Let's go then!" Rainbow Dash grabbed Fluttershy's arm and flew into the direction of Golden Oaks Library. ~10 seconds later~ "We're here!" Rainbow Dash screamed. "Yeah...So, why did you want us to come, Twilight?" Fluttershy asked. "I'll explain to everyone. Take a seat." Twilight said, motioning towards a sofa. Dash and Fluttershy proceeded to sit down next to the rest of the Mane 6, with the exception of Twilight who was standing in front of all of them. "Princess Celestia has sent me a very important note. Apparently, some of her guards had found out that the Three Tribes didn't disappear as we had all expected it to. This has led to many questions, so she has decided to send us to investigate how the Three Tribes had survived. The settlements are pretty far away, so Princess Celestia had settled on the idea of teleporting us there. Any questions?" "Ah have one. What're the names of those Three Tribes?" Applejack asked. "Earth, Unicornia, and Pegasopolis. Just like in the Hearths Warming Eve tale." Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy tensed up, but luckily no one noticed. "Twilight, dear, how do you know that this is true? Not to question royalty, but maybe Princess Celestia's guards never knew for sure if it was the Three Tribes and everyone's just assuming that it's them." Rarity did have a point, Dash. What if it's a false alarm? "Even if that happened, it's still strange for ponies to not live in Equestria, so we'll still investigate." Don't worry about it, Flutters. We can handle anything as long as we don't screw up and give away our secret. "Do you think they'll be our friend? Wait...of course they will! Nevermind!" exclaimed Pinkie Pie. "...Okay. Any other questions?" Everyone shook their heads. "Okay good. We have an hour to pack before the next train to Canterlot leaves. Meet back here in 45 minutes. Got it?" Everyone gave her one strong nod. ~At Rainbow Dash's Cloud Mansion~ "Ohmygoshohmygoshohmy-" Dash covered Fluttershy's mouth with her hand. "Fluttershy! Don't worry. We can fix this. Just don't give any hints or we might be in trouble. Got it?" After she nodded, Rainbow Dash took her hand off Fluttershy's face. "Maybe we can try splitting up the group by pony race, just in case. We can just say that it would be faster," Fluttershy suggested. "Good idea. Hopefully they'll buy it." Dash agreed. Hopefully they won't find out. ~40 minutes later at the train station~ "Is everyone sure that they have everything?" "For the twentieth time, Twilight, YES WE ARE ALL SURE!" Applejack said. "Yeah! I even made sure to pack an extra party cannon in case of an emergency!" Pinkie Pie excitedly said whilst hopping around. "Okay, okay. Just making sure." Twilight said. They all turned their attention towards the train, which was screeching as it slowed to a stop. You ready, Flutters? Yep. The Mane 6 hopped on the train to Canterlot, unaware of the mysteries that lie ahead. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 ~At Canterlot~ SCREEEEEEEEECH! The Mane 6 stepped off of the train and went on the path that led to the castle. "Okay, when we get to the settlements, we should split up, They might still hate each other so we'll have to find out what the problem is between them and fix it. Okay?" Twilight said. Wow. We must just have amazing luck. Fluttershy telepathically told Dash. I know. Let's keep it that way. After walking for about 10 minutes, the Mane 6 reached the castle. "Good morning, Princess Twilight. What brings you and your friends to the royal castle, if I may ask?" A royal guard said as he bowed to Twilight. "Good morning, sir. We just came here to talk about some things with Princess Celestia." "Okay then, princess. Have a good day," the guard said as he stepped out of their way. The Mane 6 walked down the hall to Princess Celestia's room. Suddenly, a cool breeze passed by. "Woah. Did anyone feel that? Maybe they left the windows open or something." Applejack stated. Little did Twilight, Applejack, Pinkie, and Rarity know, that was more than a simple breeze. Rainbow Dash... I know. If he does anything to blow our cover, just try getting out of the situation. I don't want you to die. When they finally reached the throne room, Celestia warmly greeted them. "Good morning, girls. How was the trip?" Twilight answered before anyone else. "It was good. So, do you have anymore information on the tribes?" Celestia shook her head. "Sorry, but what I wrote to you is all my knowledge of the topic." "It's okay! We can figure everything out for you! Right girls!" Pinkie Pie screamed while hopping around. "Um...right. Anyway, Ah think we should get on with our mission." Applejack said. "Right. Girls, line up in front of that wall. I'm going to teleport you individually." "Oh! One more thing." "Yes, Twilight?" "We decided to split up by race since we don't know if the tribes are at war or not." "Ok. I'll teleport you in pairs then." Celestia started with the earth ponies. Applejack and Pinkie Pie dissppeared in only 5 seconds. Next were the unicorns. Finally, she started teleporting Dash and Fluttershy. "Good luck, girls." ~In Pegasopolis~ There was a bright light illuminating an alleyway in what seemed like an abandoned town. When the light dimmed down, there were two figures standing in place of the light source. "Ok, Flutters. You ready?" "Mhm." "Let's see what's changed in the last six years." As they looked around, they saw that nothing changed. There were the same old run down shops, the same old criminals, and the same old abusive people. Yep, just like six years ago when they were ten. As they walked further into the horrible town, they stopped at a small light blue house. "I hope their okay..." Rainbow Dash said. "C'mon then. Let's see if they're there." "Alright." They walked up to the house and pushed open the door. They heard the squeak of the door and footsteps. "Hello?" Rainbow called out. "Rainbow Dash?!" Rainbow Dash looked into a bedroom and saw a red, orange, and yellow maned twenty year old-looking girl with eyes like her own. "Iridecent?" Rainbow asked. Iridecent and Rainbow Dash rushed towards each other and hugged. "I-It's good t-to s-see you, D-Des." Rainbow choked on her own words and on the lump in her throat. "I-It's great to s-see you too, Dash." Fluttershy was crying in the background because of the touching scene in front of her. After a few moments, they broke the hug and no one talked. Finally, Rainbow Dash broke the silence. "Where's mom?" "...Well...Dad happened. He found us. I was going to move, but then I decided to stay so that I didn't endanger anyone. We all have done enough of that as kids." "I think you made the right choice," Fluttershy said, trying to lighten up the mood. "Do you know where he went?" Dash asked. "Yesterday when I saw him he flew towards the other kingdoms. I think one was called Equestria." "Figures. We'll deal with that later. Now, let's just do what we used to." Dash suggested, looking at both of them with a mischievous grin. "Sure." Fluttershy and Iridescent agreed. ~10 hours later (10:00 PM) Rainbow Dash, Iridescent, and Fluttershy were laying on one large cloud in the outskirts of Pegasopolis, looking at the starry night sky. After about five minutes, all of them fell asleep. Suddenly, two dark figures teleported in front of the slumbering pegasi. "Our daughters should know better not to let their guard down." "Yeah, let's teach them a lesson." The first figure walked towards Iridescent. He pressed down on her mouth and picked her up. She tried to squirm free, but he was too powerful. The second figure whispered to her. "No daughters of mine will let their guard down. I still need you both alive...Hmm...Actually, I only need one of you alive." The figure, who is apparently Iridescent's father, created a sword with his power. Little did he know of the two girls behind him, but his partner did.  The partner threw Iridescent down and knocked her out. He then kicked Fluttershy towards Rainbow Dash, knocking them both off of the cloud. They flew back up just in time for Rainbow and Iridescent's dad to punch Rainbow square in the face, making her nose leave a trail of blood as Rainbow fell unconscious. Fluttershy flew to save Rainbow, but the other figure grabbed her wings and twisted them. A sickening crack and a terrified and pained scream filled the night sky. "If you weren't my only daughter, you'd be dead. Consider yourself lucky." He threw the now unconscious Fluttershy down while Dash and Des's dad threw Iridescent of the cloud. ~At sunrise~ Rainbow woke up with a horrible headache. She opened her eyes and immediately regretted it. She saw Fluttershy and Iridescent both lying in their own pool of blood next to the ocean. Dash looked down at herself and saw that she made her own little puddle of blood. Suddenly, thoughts from last night rushed into her mind. "Oh no. What if they find Twilight, Pinkie, Rarity, or Applejack? Notgoodnotgoodnotgoodnotgood!" Rainbow panicked. She crawled over to her sister and shook her. "Des...C'mon Des wake up. Come ON!" Iridescent started to wake up. "Des? Des, can you hear me?" "D...Dash? Ugh, my head. What hap-" a look of realization came across her face, then a look of terror. "Dash, go wake Fluttershy up and meet me back at the house." Iridescent flew off. Dash crawled over to Fluttershy and shook her. After a few moments, she finally woke up. "R-Rainbow Dash?" "You'll remember soon, just come on." Rainbow helped Fluttershy up and flew carefully to the house. When they opened the door, Iridescent called them to her room. "We need to leave as soon as possible. Any suggestions?" "Um...maybe we can introduce you to our friends and we can all go back to Equestria." Fluttershy suggested. "Hmm...I've got nothing so I think we should go with Fluttershy's plan." Rainbow Dash agreed. "Okay, but we might put them in danger. Are you SURE you want to do that?" "I guess we have no other choice since our friends would look for us if we left to go anywhere else." Rainbow Dash said. "Okay, then. Where are your friends?" Iridescent asked. "The other villages. It's not to far of a flight if we start out fast." "Dash, you know that we shouldn't use our demon abilities. It can influence our transformations." Iridescent said. "Then I guess we're going to have to travel for hours without rest to get to one of the villages by night." "...Okay fine, but just this once." Iridescent said, defeated by Dash. They all flew out of the house and traveled to the other villages at the speed of sound. ~The Unicorn Village~ "When do you think Dash and Shy will find us, sugar cube?" said Applejack. "I don't know, maybe they ran into some trouble. The Unicorn Village elders did say that the Pegasus Village elders were the only village elders that wouldn't make peace with them." Twilight said. "Hey! Is that them there?!" Pinkie said, pointing to three dots in the sky. "Possibly, but there are three dots, so who are they with?" The three dots approached so rapidly that all they saw were rainbows and a pink streak when the pegasi landed. "I WON! WHAT? NO YOU DIDN'T! I DID! STOP COPYING ME!" Dash and Des were screaming at the same time. After a few moments, they burst out laughing. "What...just happened?" Rarity asked. Rainbow stood up after rolling on the floor laughing and helped Iridescent up. "We were racing, that's what." "Dash, Shy, care to explain who your friend is?" Applejack said. "Guys, this is my sister, Iridescent, and I found her visiting Pegasopolis for some research in Cloudsdale." "Then we hung out for the day and came here." Fluttershy added. "Well then, nice to meet you, Iridescent." Twilight said. Pinkie bumped Twilight out of the way to shake Iridescent's hand. "NicetomeetyouMyfriendscallmePinkieorPinkiePieandsinceyou'renowofficiallymyfriendyoucancallmethosenames,too!Also,weshouldthrowyouaparty!" Iridescent just stood there with her mouth hung open. "Don't worry, dear, you'll get used to it." Rarity said, breaking the awkward silence. "Okay..." "Well anyway, let's get back to Canterlot to report to Princess Celestia," Twilight said. "Sure," everyone said. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4 Everyone just stood there looking at Rainbow, Fluttershy, and Iridescent. Celestia broke the long silence. "If this is some kind of joke-" "No. I know it's hard to believe, but you will die if you go out there." said Dash. "I think your lying." said Twilight. "Why?" said Fluttershy. "Because there's no way you could know all of this! You and Dash are only sixteen and Iridescent's twenty-something! You haven't lived as long as Celestia! Th-There's no possible way that you're right!" "Twilight-" Fluttershy started. "Actually, she's right. There isn't any logical way for you to be right, so you all have to drop your act and be serious." Celestia agreed. "No, you don't underst-" said Rainbow Dash. "I said to drop the act." "Listen to us! We're trying to save you!" Iridescent screamed. "Drop it. Now." It seemed like Celestia was showing a type of aggressiveness that was new to everyone. "You know what? I'm done." said Rainbow Dash. "Excuse me?" said Celestia. "I'm tired of your shit! You act all high and mighty while we do all the work! Now that we're telling you what to do you're getting all jealous because you always want to be the fucking boss all the time!" The Element of Loyalty shook in the box that contained all the elements. "This is where you drew the line! If you can't listen to anything anyone else says, then you should just die! Go and fight him! SEE IF I CARE!" As Rainbow flew out of the room with Iridescent and Fluttershy following her, the Element of Loyalty turned black and cracked. Everyone stood there looking at the element with their mouths hung wide open. "What did we just do?" asked Twilight. "She's jealous. That's all. It happens to a lot of people." said Celestia. "But what about the elements?" asked Pinkie Pie. "I don't know." Rainbow Dash stormed into her cloud house. "FUCK EVERYTHING!" She plopped onto her bed and shouted in her pillow. "Do you think she'll be okay?" Fluttershy asked. Iridescent listened through the door of Dash's room. "I don't know. She's really mad. It also doesn't help that she hasn't turned into a demon, so her demon side might come out." "Maybe we should go back to the others and make sure they don't do anything bad," Fluttershy suggested. "You go ahead and do that. I'll stay here and watch Dash." "Okay." "Are you sure that this is a good idea?" asked Rarity. "Yeah. What if they're right and we all will die? What if it'll hurt Dashie's feelings?" asked Pinkie Pie. "It'll work." said Celestia in a voice that made everyone afraid to speak again. "Does everyone remember the plan?" Pinkie, Rarity, and Applejack all shook their head. "Ugh. First, Twilight and I will hold him still with our magic. Then, Applejack will tie him up with her rope. Lastly, Pinkie and Rarity will hold him still while I turn him into stone." "Do you have a death wish?" "Who said that?" Twilight frantically asked. "Me." The rainbow maned man teleported in front of the group. "NOW TWILIGHT!" Celestia said as she tried to take hold of him. They concentrated as hard as they could, but they couldn't wrap him up in their magic. "Come...on..." Twilight said. After a few more seconds of trying, Twilight and Celestia became to exhausted to use their magic. "Who...are...you?" Celestia asked as Applejack and Rarity helped her up. "My name's Diavol. I know it's a stupid name, but deal with it." "So...you're the demon that wants to destroy the city?" asked Twilight. "Correction: I'm the devil that wants to destroy the world." "Wait...Rainbow Dash said something about you and her being family. Is that true?" asked Applejack. "Yep. I'm her dad. Also, you know too much, so die." He rushed at them as he made a black sword appear with a new type of magic. Before he could swing at Applejack, a different sword appeared, blocking his. This sword was pink with a green outline of someone's cutie mark engraved into the blade. "F-Fluttershy?" said Applejack. "I thought you'd do something like this." Fluttershy said as Diavol backed up. "B-But...how?" asked Celestia. "How many times do you have to hear it before you understand? I'm a demon." Fluttershy said before she rushed at Diavol and started fighting. "Dash! For the last time, GET OUT OF BED!" "No!" "DASH!" Iridescent kicked down the door and pulled on Dash's legs, but dash held onto the bed frame. "I DON'T WANT TO HELP THEM! I DON'T WANT TO HELP ANYONE! JUST LEAVE ME ALONE AND LET ME JUST SIT HERE IN MY ROOM!" "DASH, YOU HAVE TO HELP THEM! FLUTTERSHY IS THERE AND IS PROBABLY FIGHTING DAD RIGHT NOW!" "...Fine I'll go, but as soon as I know Fluttershy's safe, I'm coming back here." Dash said as she walked out of the room. "Ugh. You can be so difficult sometimes." Iridescent mumbled. "Oof!" Fluttershy just landed on a boulder and hurt her stomach. "Give up already," Diavol said as Fluttershy struggled to stand. "You should give up and maybe I'll spare you." "No...I'll n-never...give up." Fluttershy gripped her sword harder and flew towards Diavol. He pinned her down on the floor. "Your so called friends didn't believe you when you tried to tell them you were a demon, so why help them?" "How'd you-" "I was in the castle. Surely you felt the gust of wind that one time. I made sure that I was noticeable." A look of realization spread across Fluttershy's face. "Shut up! That doesn't mean anything. They were just confused." "Then why did Celestia call Dash jealous after you all left?" "She's...well...Celestia's not so trust worthy...and she's our enemy, but that doesn't mean that I have to betray my friends!" "So, you can admit that Celestia's your enemy, but you can't admit that Celestia's slaves-" "They aren't slaves!" "Whatever. So you can't admit that they are also your enemies?" "They aren't my enemies!" Fluttershy pushed him off her. She then kicked him back and flew away as fast as she could. "They'll join me soon. It's only a matter of time until I put my plan into action. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3 The train ride to Canterlot was uneventful. However, when the girls reached Canterlot itself, there was utter chaos. "RUN FOR YOUR LIIFE!" "IT'S A DEMON!" "HE'S GOING TO KILL US ALL!" The group rushed to the castle, dodging the barrage of confused and panicked ponies. Rainbow Dash? Is it him? What's going on? I don't know, Flutters. It probably is him. I wish that he would've given us more time. Then again, he did sneak into the castle yesterday... Buildings burnt and smoke filled the sky. It was time. Rainbow Dash. We have to tell them. If we don't, they might make things worse. Please, Dash... Rainbow looked at Iridescent. She knew what question Rainbow wanted her to answer. She nodded. Okay...Fine. The girls kept running towards the castle, still dodging various things. After a few moments, they reached the castle. As they were about to enter the throne room, a loud explosion was heard in the distance, so everyone looked out of the window. "MUHAHAHAHA!" On top of a burning building stood a man who had a rainbow mane and had red and black eyes. (Look at Dash's eyes on the cover photo) He was wearing black jeans with a dark gray worn out shirt. "Shit..." Dash whispered. "What was that, Rainbow Dash?" asked Rarity. "Nothing." They all walked into the throne room as Celestia greeted them. "Hello. my little ponies. Please listen up carefully. An evil being from the past has been awaken. We need to stop him before he destroys everything. I need you to use the elements to fight him immediately. Since I figured that you'd come to the castle after your journey, I brought the elements here." She opened the vault that held the elements. "You do know that the elements won't stop him right?" Iridescent asked Celestia. "And who might you be?" asked Celestia. "I'm Dash's older sister, Iridescent, and I'm just telling you right now that they'll die if they try facing him with only the elements." "Um, excuse me, but you don't know the power of the elements, Iridescent, so you can't just say that they're too weak to defeat him," said Twilight. "She does know the power of the elements, and she's right. They're way too weak to even scratch him." Dash argued. "Also, he'd probably kill us before we could attack. The other enemies just underestimated us, but he doesn't mess around." said Fluttershy. "How do you know this exactly?" asked Applejack. "Because we've met him before." said Fluttershy. "Also," said Dash, "he's Des and my father."
