The price for happiness

I was so excited today! My parents and sister were costing from Sacramento. I live in San Diego so the trip was going to be pretty long. I had to get my apartment cleaned from top to bottom! It was a fairly decent size apartment so I started with the bathroom , better he the worst out of the way.

I was so excited to see them, I recently moved out so leaving home was pretty hard. I had such. A good connection with my family that made it even worse. My little sister Anna was a huge support to me growing up through both my up and downs. I thought while humming and cleaning my apartment to the best of my abilities.

In the middle of cleaning I heard the phone ring. It was from.....the police!?!?!?!? What could they possibly want with someone who's always too busy playing video games and watching anime to go outside and break the law? It was woman,  she asked me if I was related to John, Susan, and Anna Mcfly, I responded with a very hesitant "yes?" She then informed me that had died in a car crash an hour earlier.

I felt as if my heart  was going to burst out of my chest. I nearly screamed into the phone "WHAT!?!??!!!?!?" She tried to calm down but their was nothing she could possibly say that was going to calm me down at a time like this. I crawled up into a ball on my kitchen floor, I felt like I was going to die, everything I held dear to my heart in this world...was dead.

                                                                                3 weeks later

I found living life more of a chore after that day . I knew I was I the verge of being fired from my job for either taking too many days off or not even outing any effort in. I had had enough of all this BS! I finally decided that I was going to end and there was nothing anyone in this world could say that could possibly change my mind.

I quit my job and politely flipped my boss off before I left like a gentleman. I then proceeded to the local hardware store and picked myself a up decent size rope. I got home and connected it to my roof essentially building my demise. I got up on my coffee table and had one final thought of hesitation. I then hopped and let go of everything I still held dear in this world, my apartment and my non existent friends....I lived a good life.

I woke up dazed and wondering where the heck I was. I looked around and all I could see was darkness and more darkness. Before I could think I heard a voice behind me "you're confused aren't you?" I quickly spun around and was greeted my a dark cloaked figure "did you really think you could kill yourself and get a free ticket into paradise? No, you are going to work for it just like everyone else." Still astonished I responded with " what are you talking about!?"

" I am going I give you one last chance at life, in A new world, an interesting world. Hopefully here you will be able to get a new view of things, and all you will need to do is one very simple task." I was no longer surprised but furious " what could I possibly have to do to be able to see my family and be happy! What!" He simply snapped his finger and responded with 5 words "kill the elements of harmony."

When I finally woke from what felt like an eternity, I looked around at my surroundings and all saw were.....apple trees? Thinking back at what death had said, I was pretty sure that he said a new interesting world, but this actually looks pretty ordinary. Well this wasn't the time to be taking in the scenery, I had to remember the main reason I was sent here In the first place, he said to kill the elements, but who were these elements and how was I going to go about killing people  that I have never even before In my life?

It was time for me to get moving, first things first, I had to find civilization. I walked forward hoping that eventually, I would find at least someone that could lead me In the right direction. I walked for about an hour when I started to feel helpless, when I saw some sort of farm in the distance. I suddenly had new reassurance in myself and began to walk faster till I was nearly up to the fence. before getting there I saw something come out of the house, it was like some orange cartoon horse.

I found this sight very very strange. but even though how strange it seemed, I pressed on, after walking a few steps closer to the house i think the horse spotted me, cause when she (im guessing) saw me, she spoke English!? "What in tarnation is that thing!?" all while pointing at me with her hoof. I was completely in shock that I couldn't even speak but with what I could muster up I finally said "what the hell are you!?"

She seemed just as dumbfounded as I did "you got 10 seconds to tell me what the buck you are before you get a face full of hoof!" I felt like I had no choice but to comply with her threat "I am a human." she looked even more confused than she did before "a what? I may not be the smartest pony but I know there ain't no such thing as a hu-man."

She then started to bolt straight towards me for no apparent reason! I ran as fast as I could towards the barn, all while feeling her breathing down my neck making the hairs stand up. She then began to quickly close the distance between the two of us, I had to think fast or else I was going to be mashed apples in  a matter of minutes. as soon as I got to the barn I completely panicked and closed to barn door behind me with all my might, before the door closed I heard a loud crash. Wondering where my attacker had gone, I quickly opened the barn door to find that she had been hit with the full force of the door, I had knocked her out. what a wonderful greeting on my first day in  a new world! thanks death!
