Living on a prair

I strolled right into the town trying to act as natural as possible. Besides the fact that I was wearing 6 feat of shining gold armor I feel like that went well. I sat down in one of the benches trying not to break it in the process. I looked around and realised that all the ponies were staring at me. I tried not to notice.

“Well this could have gone a lot better,” R.O.C.K.E.T. said sarcastically.

“You think?” I replied rolling my eyes. I started to wonder whether or not I could fix the transmitter, one of the Ponies walked in front of me, it was wearing some sort of armor and had a spear attached to its side, so I assumed it was a solder or guard.

“I’m going to need you to follow me,” It said I got up and walked with him. Eventually we got to this big tree that looked as if something tried to turn it into a house. The guard lifted his hoof up to the door and knocked. A lavender what I assumed to be a unicorn with wings  with a purple mane opened the door.

“Oh I see you must be the thing that fell from the sky.”  The unicorn said

I decided not to say anything.

“Guard you can leave us,” The guard creepily walked away without question, or blinking.

“So… um, my name is Twilight Sparkle, but you can call me Twilight,” I turned on the outside speakers so she could hear me.

“Name’s Coda, U.N.S.C. petty officer second class.” I replied.

“SWEET CELESTIA YOU TALK! THIS IS AMAZING!” Twilight yelled

“Hay Twilight have you seen my new copy of my power ponies comic?” A voice called from upstairs.

“SPIKE TAKE A LETTER SAY I HAVE FOUND A TALKING ALIEN AND I NEED HER IMMEDIATELY!” She yelled again, A lot of foot steps and tripping noises came from upstairs, and a little purple dragon tumbled down the stairs.

“A talking alien, don’t you think that's a little..” He gaped wide eyed at me, and ran back up stairs.

“Without any more interruptions, how did you land here,how did you find here, and where did you come from?” I could tell Twilight was trying not to hyperventilate as she talked.

“I crash landed about an hour ago from a slipspace portal,in a drop pod in the middle of the woods not far from her. I walked into town where the guard led me here.”

“Twilight sparkle why have you summoned me here?” Came a regel voice from the door.

“Princess Celestia.”Twilight squeaked,”Please come in!”She yelled back.

A six foot tall white pony with wings, a horn, and the weirdest mane ever walked into the room.

As she looked at me her jaw slowly dropped and eyes slowly widened.

“W-w-w-w-w-w- waaaaa?”She said speechless.

“pleasure to meet you to.”I said sarcastically.

“My word it talks to!” She replied less speacless.

“Yes, well um, this is Coda, Coda meat Princess Celestia, Princess meat Coda.” I waved my hand in a WAZ-UP motion.

“I was hoping you could help me get home but I realized that your technology is about 3000 years away.” I said.

“We don't need technology we have magic!”Twilight said enthusiastically.

“Magic! Magic isn’t real!” I said desperately trying to hold back a laugh.

Twilight's eyes widened, “but magic is the reason we all exist, without magic how would the sun rise, how would the seasons change.”

“The sun rises because we rotate around it and the seasons change because we orbit it. That's science not magic. At least in our world.”

“Speaking of your world, where are you from” Celestia interrupted.

“Well I  was stationed at on a space station near Oceananus V, I was just about to do a drop pod inspection, as the ship went through a slip space portal. I fell backwards into the pod and slammed the “EJECT” button. As the ship disappeared I shot into space going through my own slipspace portal, sending me here!” I clapped my hands as I ended my heroically short story.

“Question, what's slip space.” Twilight questioned.

“slip space is a dimension where we can travel from one place to the next almost instantly!”

I replied.

"Isn't that magic also?" Questioned twilight.
