Fluttershy was tending to her cute fuzzy animals when a mysterious red pony walked in he claimed his name was Tony he stammered quietly
“Will you look after my sick ape?”
Fluttershy, being the kind pony that she was agreed willingly and took the caged primate off his back.
He trotted swiftly away, Fluttershy only having time to say “Bye!”
Fluttershy examined the ape. It seemed to be quivering away from her she said softly “Hey little guy, wanna come out an play, I can introduce you to some of the other animals, this is Angel, that’s Elizabeak and lastly that’s Humminway.”
She lifted the latch but, suddenly the ape stormed out of the cage, bearing it’s teeth it jumped a landed on Angel tearing it’s little head from its shoulders. Fluttershy screamed in terror and galloped towards the door, the ape saw her running and leapt on to her back and bite down hard on her neck tearing away the soft flesh, Fluttershy collapsed to the ground.
Nopony had seen Fluttershy In days, but Rarity needed to borrow some bird feed for a sparrow that she found injured, Rarity knocked on the door but there was no answer. The door was unlocked she pushed it open slowly she smelt a foul smell , but that was not the worst part there was a blood smeared everywhere just at that moment a trot came from the kitchen it was Fluttershy, but she looked awful her mane was ripped and stained with blood and around her face was blood and feathers. She bolted towards Rarity. The shocked pony turned and ran towards the orchard then the ape ran with the deranged pony towards Rarity. Rarity ran through the orchard with screams and grunts of her former friend.
She passed Applejack who was picking apples but, did not have time to stay and chat, the ape leapt onto Applejack and started munching at her flesh, Rarity could hear the distant screams of Applejack, she did not have time to worry about her friend because Fluttershy was still chasing her through the orchard, she spotted a barn nearby and galloped towards it. Rarity slammed the giant door shut, Fluttershy was outside screaming and banging on the door.
Rarity lay down and stared sobbing to the sounds of her former friend going crazy outside. Just as she thought she was safe, she looked up to see the ape leapt down from crack in the ceiling Rarity looked round the abandoned barn for a weapon she could not find anything but then she remembered the sharp horn on her head she ran straight towards the infected ape her horn pierced the apes skull and tore into its brain. Rarity stopped realising that the ape had seized to move, she had killed it.
Then she realised that the banging had stopped she opened the barn doors to see Big Mac with and axe over Fluttershy. He dropped the axe and started sobbing and told Rarity that he had found Applejack eating Applebloom. Big Mac said sadly “ I ran an I ran then I saw F S bangin on that door she chased me an I knew she were one a those things so I killed her.”
Rarity told him about Applejack and the ape he didn’t seem angry he just got mad, he said that there is chaos in PonyVille and that there is loads of those things. The two ponies made their way back to the centre of town to see if there was any of their friends alive.
Two hours later they arrived in bad spirits. They crept down the back streets towards the main, street they saw Rainbow dash back to back with Pinkie Pie killing many, many undead ponies they ran to help ,but could do anything for them, Rainbow Dash suddenly leapt into the air grabbing Pinkie Pie with her she flew on over head with Pinkie Pie. Big M and Rarity were left to deal with the hordes of undead ponies they ran swiftly back down the street they came from and shut two big metal gates and the horde could not get thorough.
Rarity had an idea she thought if she used her magic on that old chariot and make it move on its own, she set to work on it, while Big M dealt with the undead who had managed to jump over the gate, The first one came bolting towards him, he swung his axe cutting its head clean off and blood and brains spattered everywhere he continued to hack at its carcass and blood continued to pour everywhere Rarity stopped him alerted him of the approaching undead, Big Mac’s mouth dropped open it was Apple Bloom a smile broadened on his face he shouted “ Applebloom your alive, I thought I had lost you!”
But the pony galloped towards him it was then he realised that she was so not alive he grabbed her in his iron grip and restrained her from moving he said softly I her ear “ I love you...” then he twisted her neck and a loud crack came from her tiny neck she seized to move.
Rarity shouted to the blood covered Big Mac “come on get in the chariot its working!” The chariot rode over the gate where all the undead were, squishing them blood splattered everywhere and Big Mac looked out of the chariot window to see the undead ponies chasing the chariot.
Big Mac asked “Rarity d’ya mind telling me where were heading?”
Rarity replied “Canterlot.”
Rarity managed to get a few hours rest she awoke to the sound of moans of the undead outside the Canterlot walls she looked around but there was no Big Mac she outside she was inside Canterlot there were guards everywhere she saw Big Mac talking to Pinkie Pie and Rainbow dash.
She stepped out to and trotted over to her friends Rainbow Dash smiled warmly and said hello and so did Pinkie Pie. Rarity asked “ So Where is everybody else?”
R D said sadly “It’s just us and Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle and Braeburn.”
Pinkie Pie broke down crying and said “Inkie Pie and Gummy and Mr and Mrs Cake all dead!!”
Rarity ran over to Sweetie Belle and hugged her, she asked her how she got out she said “I was evacuated with Sweetie, do you know where Apple Bloom is?”
Rarity shook her head.
Suddenly the guard shouted we have two zero zero niner Horde
“Holy Crap that’s giant!” bellowed Big Mac
“I don’t understand!” Rarity asked
“That means roughly 2000 earth and 9 Pegusai!”
“Holy mother of Celestia!” Rarity Shouted
The Ponies along with all the guards got into defensive positions the younger ponies got behind the elder ones Big Mac and Braeburn where at the frontline with the guards Rarity, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie guarded the little ones. All the Guards were armed with sharp, shiny steel swords the rest had various farming tools, for example spades, pitchforks and axes. The Main Guard bellowed “ready, ready” Boom the giant doors gave way and thousands of undead bolted in the guards hacked and slashed through the undead, some undead got through and infected the guards one by one the guards started to drop. The alive started to lose numbers but so did the undead, but clearly the alive were outnumbered and started to retreat, through the chaos Braeburn could be seen battling the at least twelve undead then he was beaten a giant work horse and eaten. Big Mac retreated back to Rarity and the others. The Remaining guards were quickly eliminated.
At least one hundred undead remained and the gang was the only alive ponies that remained. Rainbow Dash, Rarity and Pinkie Pie charged forwards towards the undead and ripped through the ranks if the undead, leaving Big Mac to take care of the young ponies. RD squashed and ripped undead till she was overrun by 10 odd undead, The undead gorged there selves on her innards until she was no more.
Pinkie Pie armed with a butcher knife sliced and diced up many ponies, but then she was confronted by the workhorse that had killed Braeburn she was filled with rage she jumped onto it but, she was no match and thrown off against a wall she dropped to the floor, many undead ran to her and devouring her.
Rarity saw what happened ,finished with the undead she was battling and rampaged towards the humongous horse and stabbed it with the pitchfork of which she wielded but slipped on the blood of the many bodies that littered the floor the big horse was about to demolish her when Big Mac grabbed its head and twisted it until it snapped the beast was dead he picked up Rarity and took her over to the youngins and lay her down.
Just as he did he saw out of the corner of his eye the work horse charging towards him he was knocked over by the giant horse and torn apart by it giant teeth it turned towards the passed out Rarity and the two young ponies it charged towards them suddenly the giant doors of the inner keep burst open, Princess Celestia stood there and screamed FUS RO DAH!!!
The Work Horse flew back and spattered against the courtyard wall.
The Courtyard was littered with thousands of bodies and at the steps to the inner keep the 4 remaining survivors stood.
