The land, filled with a beautiful orchard of apple trees, had been the number one apple farm in all of Equestria. But in the house, things were not always happy. Inside, they were four ponies who were crying about something terrible. The red pony stallion, was the oldest of the three children, with a horse collar around his neck. The orange mare had a brown hat on her head and she and her brother had freckles on their cheeks. The yellow filly, was the youngest in the family, and she had a pink bow on her head. The elderly green mare, sitting on a rocking chair, had a light orange bandanna on her neck, covered with little red polka dots. "Granny, I wish Mama and Daddy are here", Applejack said as she turned to her grandmother. "I do too dear", Granny said, as she gently rocked back and forth. "Everypony we got to find them", Big Macintosh said with courage. "But how will we find them? They're dead", Apple Bloom said, with anger on her face. "Your sister's right, nopony had ever found them for seventeen years." "Granny, did you just say you've given up hope?" Applejack spoke with surprise. "Yes dear, I have." "Granny, you taught us to think about the positive possibilities Mama and Daddy might be alive." "Applejack's right Granny just because they've been missing it doesn't mean that they're dead", Big Mac said with a smile. "You know what Granny? Applejack and Big Mac are right, maybe they will return someday." Granny manged to pull herself off the rocking chair, and walk to the window where the night sky can be seen in the most perfect view. "You're all right dearies, maybe they will return. Time for bed." The Apple family went upstairs to they're bedrooms, turned off all the lights and fell fast asleep. The next morning, the four ponies woke up bright and early, to do some apple bucking. They couldn't help but notice, that somepony was humming in the kitchen. There, cooking some apple muffins in the oven, was a golden pony mare, with a green mane and tail, an apple and two sticks of cinnamon as a cutie mark and red and orange eyes like Apple Bloom and Granny. And sitting at the table, reading a newspaper, was a dark red pony with a dark brown mane and tail, a jug of cider as a cutie mark and with green eyes like Applejack and Big Mac. "Isn't good to be home Apple Cider?" said the mare. "It sure is Apple Spice" Apple Cider said. Applejack, Big Mac, Apple Bloom and Granny's eyes  were weld up with tears of joy at the ponies who are finally home. "Mama, Daddy, I knew you'd come back", Applejack said, as she raced up to hug her mother and father. "We missed you so much son. I never thought I'd see you again." "We just got lost in the Everfree forest for so long, and I thought we'd never find our way out Mama." At last, the Apple family was once again, happy, and just in time for Apple Buck Season. The entire family were out in the orchards bucking apples. But then, Apple Bloom, couldn't help but notice, that there was a dark blue alicorn flying in the sky. Her blue star like mane and tail shimmered in the sunlight. "Having a wonderful dream Apple Bloom?" asked the princess of the night, as she flew down to the spot where the little filly was. "This is a dream?" asked Apple Bloom, as she realized the pony who was talking to her. "It's more then just a dream Apple Bloom, this is a vision of your future." "But how can you be so sure Luna?" "I am the princess of the night thus it is my duty to give visions to those who suffer a heart ace." Apple Bloom backed away from Luna saying, "No, this isn't a dream, Mama and Daddy are here." "Do you doubt little filly?" Luna inquired, as she opened her wings. The sun, began to draw closer, and closer to the farm, as Luna began to fly. The sun, created a fire that destroyed all the apple trees around the farm, even the zap apple trees. Apple Bloom woke up and made a scream, until realizing, she was back, safe, in her room. "It really was a dream", Apple Bloom sighed, as she noticed it was over. Applejack raced to her little sister's room saying, "What's wrong Sugar cube?" "Nothing, I had a dream." "About what Squirt?" "About Mama and Daddy, they're coming home." "I'm sure they will little sis, I'm sure they will." The moon began to lower, as Princess Celestia, raised the sun in the early morning. Applejack and Big Mac woke up bright and early, like an Apple always does, so did Apple Bloom and Granny Smith. When the little filly turned a corner, into the kitchen from the living room, she realized that her dream did come true. There were Apple Cider and Apple Spice in the kitchen making apple muffins and sitting at the table reading the newspaper, just like in the dream. "Mama, Daddy, you're alive!" Apple Bloom said, as she raced to them, hugging them both in her embrace. "Why little Apple Bloom, what's gotten into you?" asked Big Mac, with a surprised look on his face. "Now son, your sister is just a little excited that we came back is all", said Apple Cider, as he stroked Apple Bloom's mane. The Apple family had the real reunion that they always wanted. Apple Bloom swore that she heard Princess Luna from behind her saying, "I hope this will be a happy ending for all of you."
