Ryder wakes up and finds that he's in an unfamiliar place that resembles a school. He looked around a little bit. He was an yellow-orange earth pony with an orange mane with a red heart with a yellow star infront of it as his cutie mark.

"Where am I? What happened? I Can't remember a thing", said the earth pony

"You up yet?", said a voice

Ryder turned around and saw a yellow unicorn mare about the same age with a magenta mane with a green bow with an arrow with a star as the arrow head as her cutie mark. She was also holding a sniper.

"Who are...", asked Ryder

"Welcome... to the Not Dead Yet Battlefront!", said the mare throwing him a gun

"HEY"

"I know this is sudden, but could you join up with us?"

"Huh? Join up?"

"Well, since you are here, that means you must be dead, right?"

"What? I...I'm sorry, I... I don't know what's going on, but..."

"This is the afterlife, you'll get obliterated if you don't fight"

"Obliterated? By who?"

"I guess by Her. Faust, I mean"

"What do you want me to join exactly?"

"Not Dead Yet Battlefront! Our name kinda changes a lot. It started as Underworld Battlefront, But Underworld Battlefront sounds like we've accepted that we're dead, you know? So we changed that name. We've been changing name ever since. Right now, it's Not Dead Yet Battlefront. Before it, it was I Feel Dead Battlefront. Well, ponies pissed off about that one, that name lasted about a day."

"Uh, is that... a real gun?"

"Everypony who comes here says that. Look, you're gonna need to become a lot more flexible. Accept things as they are."

"Accept things? Then, what should I do?"

"You should fight."

The mare pointed to the basketball court. Over there, was a cream unicorn mare with a white mane with a halo as her cutie mark.

"That's Not Dead Yet Battlefront's enemy: Angel", said the mare "Hmm, kinda wanna change that name now. You got one?"

"This chick's crazy!! She's really gonna shoot her? I think she is.", thought Ryder "Listen, how about I go down there?"

"What?! Why?! Why the hell go down there? That just doesn't make any sense! What the hell made you just say that? Are you an idiot or what? Go die! That's something we say here all the time since no one dies here. Whatcha think, funny?"

"Well...not so much. How would I know? I think I'll have better luck talking with someone around here who's not some kind of high school sniper with an M-16 or whatever it is."

"I'm on your side. If you like, I won't aim at her directly. How's that? A little trust here, okay?"

"Hmm...", thought Ryder

"Hey, Castor", called a voice

Suddenly, a light blue earth pony with a dark blue mane with a baseball as his cutie mark ran up to them.

"So, how goes the recruit of the newbie there? We'll get him no matter what it takes to join our cause, then we will show…", said the stallion

"I'm going down there", said Ryder

"WHAT THE HELL?!", yelled Castor

"Why?", asked the blue stallion

"This doesn't make sense. Those two are nuts.", thought Ryder

Ryder walked to the basketball court and went up to Angel.

"Excuse me", said Ryder "Hey, what's going on? Listen, there're crazy ponies up there trying to take a shot at you. They think you are some kind of angel.

"Hm? But I'm not any kind of angel", replied Angel

"Of course not"

"I'm the student body president"

"I'm an idiot. I can't believe I fell for that, dammit! Why did I listen to her? I don't even know who I am. I should go to the hospital."

"There aren't any hospitals."

"Huh? Why not?"

"Because no one gets sick."

"Why not?"

"Because everyone is dead."

"Oh, I get it! You're in on this too. Is that it? What the hell is wrong with you ponies? And my memory...You jerks are responsible for my amnesia, too?"

"Amnesia is quite common here. Ponies who were hurt in any kind of accident before coming here often hurt their head"

"Then prove it, smart ass! Prove that I can't die since I'm already de..."

"Horn sonic"

Angel's horn started glowing, and she stabbed Ryder in the heart. Then everything went black
