“PARTY TIMEWHOOOOAAA!!!”
A loud splash sounded from outside the patio doors as Lightning Streak stumbled and fell into the pool.
“Hey! Can somepony go out there and fish Streak out in case he’s too drunk to do it himself?!” Fleetfoot yelled from inside her house as Surprise and Misty Fly glided over to help the drunkard out of the water.
“You’re gonna regret hosting…” Soarin chuckled as he trotted up behind Fleetfoot.
“I regret NOTHING!” Fleetfoot proudly patted a hoof against her chest.
It was the night after a successful Wonderbolt show and, as usual, the whole team decided to celebrate… hard. Fleetfoot had offered her house for this night’s party and less than half an hour had gone by before the place was a mess. She didn’t care though. It was time to party!
“Hey!” Wave Chill yelped as Soarin suddenly put him in a headlock from behind the couch. As soon as Soarin let go, Wave was up and tried to jump over the back of the couch after him, but stumbled and fell face first.
Spitfire winced as she watched Wave faceplant and slowly fall flat to the floor.
“Wow… smooth…” she commented as she and Fleetfoot crouched down to make sure he was alright. The two glanced up at each other after examining Wave. They both locked eyes for a moment, Fleetfoot grinning and leaning in, but Spitfire quickly pulled back upon seeing Soarin approach from over Fleetfoot’s shoulder.
“Aw damn… I didn't do it I swear!” he shrugged. Spitfire quickly regained her composure and smirked.
“Couch one, Wave Zero,” she joked as Wave groaned and pushed himself up. Fleetfoot helped Wave stand up and diverted him towards the kitchen.
“C’mon you dolt, night’s still young, go drink some more,” she chuckled and pushed him along. She glanced back at Spitfire, catching the yellow mare staring at her, and winked. Spitfire rolled her eyes, but smiled in response.
The night continued… endlessly rambunctious, but it was a good time. A good time for all involved. However, it could have been better for two certain mares...
Party string hung from the cloud ceiling, the odd bottle of liqueur on the floor with the balloons, some destroyed, thrown around the room. The home of the Wonderbolt Fleetfoot had defiantly been in for one heck of a night. Spitfire stood at the entrance to the doorway, her eyes scanning the party she'd just been involved in. Suddenly, she felt the soft hooves of a certain pony wrap around her as a voice spoke.
"One heck of a party, am a right?" Fleetfoot asked boastfully.
Usually the two would refrain from contact like this, they had for the entirety of the party. Now though, it was just the two of them, besides Soarin who was currently snoring, passed out on the couch nearby.
"It was great," Spitfire happily replied, turning around to see the violet eyes of Fleetfoot. The two matched each others grins as she closed in, gently brushing her lips against Fleetfoot's soft cheek in a small nuzzle. The mare giggled at the ticklish feeling before replying in a similar fashion by nuzzling the mare's muzzle in return. The two were quickly disrupted by the loud snorting of Soarin’s snout as he tried to get comfortable on the sofa, the mares couldn’t help but roll their eyes at the stallion’s goofiness.
“So,” Fleetfoot began, caressing her mares chest with a hoof, “Wanna take this somewhere more quiet?” she asked. Spitfire nodded contently.
“My heads killing me with that snoring anyhow,” she whined.
The two wonderbolts trotted side by side through the hall, their hooves treading across the mountains of wrappers and party paraphernalia that littered the floor.
“I’m gonna be in for a long haul of cleaning tomorrow,” Fleetfoot joked as they alighted the staircase.
“Well that’s what you get for throwing a party for our one-hundredth successful tour,” Spitfire answered with another playful grin. Fleetfoot flashed her a sly smile too as she trotted forward into a darkened room in the upper level of the home.
When Spitfire’s eyes adjusted to the darker surroundings she noticed they’d wandered into Fleetfoot’s bedroom with the humongous cloud bed centered within it.
“Do you really need all that?” Spitfire asked to her marefriend as she watched Fleetfoot make her way to the particularly large item she was staring at.
“Hey, if you're a wonderbolt you gotta live life and besides, I did buy this bed with the intention of having a special someone in it with me,” she replied hopping up onto the lush surface, flashing Spitfire with that same sly grin. The wonderbolt captain felt the blush return to her cheeks again, but thanked Celestia her marefriend wouldn’t be able to see it in the current lighting.
“What are you waiting for then Fire?” Fleet asked while patting her hooves against the soft mattress. Spitfire realised the mare in question was waiting for her. She could tell Fleet wanted something since the mare was using the nickname only she would allow her to say.
Spitfire wandered around to the edge of the cloud mass and flapped her wings as she moved in a swift motion to land gently on top of the arctic blue mare below her. Their eyes locked once more, but as Spitfire began to lean in again Fleefoot spoke once more.
“Could I ask somethin?” Fleet said as the two laid down against one another.
“What’s on your mind?” Spitfire replied as she nuzzled her mares ear.
“When are we gonna tell the group?” Fleetfoot asked bluntly.
“You mean… about us?” Spitfire replied hesitantly. Fleetfoot could feel the mare on top of her tense slightly at the question, she proceeded to nuzzle the mare’s fluffy chest as she nodded.
Spitfire’s mind began to run with many different thoughts at once. They’d had conversations like these before in the past. All of them just ending with the agreement they’d talk about it later in time, but Spitfire also knew that the last discussion was a long time ago. The pair had been together for almost a year now, they’d already come out to each others parents, an experience Spitfire found quite entertaining with hers, but they both seemed to go well. However, this wasn’t the parents she knew would accept her no matter what, this was her friends that could go either way about it.
“You know, if you need more time,” Fleetfoot started, her voice slightly muffled as she let her head rest on Spitfire’s chest as she awaited an answer.
“No, I think… I think it’s time we at least discussed it properly,” Spitfire replied as she brought a hoof to Fleetfoot's windswept mane as she gently ran it through the strands of her hair. She watched as a smile formed on Fleetfoot’s lips, her violet eyes showing a little more love in them than they did previously.
Fleet shifted a little underneath the mare before speaking, “So uh… where do you wanna start then? I mean, I know it’s kinda a big deal but-”
“That’s just it,” Spitfire interrupted, “it is a big deal, what if someone disagrees with us? You know our team prides itself on teamwork, we put our lives on the line every day because we know our team will do the same for us!"
Spitfire felt a hoof place itself firmly on her chest, she looked to see Fleetfoot giving her a curious look, "Spitfire, they're our friends, even if they aren't they're still going to save a pony in danger, it's what Wonderbolts are meant for."
If it was one thing Spitfire loved about Fleetfoot, while she was cocky, she was also blunt and it was that which seemed to always calm her paranoid fear. The Captain let out a heavy sigh as her mind continued to sway with the heavy thought, "I know Fleet, but I'm still worried, what about our public image? You and I are on posters in every city in Equestria!"
"Shhh," Fleetfoot breathed as she leaned up to nuzzle the mares cheek, "We aren't gonna go round with a megaphone across the whole country, we're just gonna tell our friends. The public don't need to know right now."
"But what if-"
Fleetfoot suddenly flipped the over. Spitfire yelped as she found herself on her back, wing spread, and staring up into Fleetfoot’s eyes before she came in for the kill. Their lips connected, softly caressing as Fleetfoot slowed down to cushion the impact of her approach. Spitfire's eyes widened as Fleetfoot’s lips met hers, tears whipping from her eyelashes as they fluttered and slowly fell back down as the pleasurable feeling of Fleet’s lips upon hers slowly took over her body.
Spitfire’s arms instantly found their way around Fleet’s neck and the kiss intensified. Fleetfoot reached her hooves around the back of Fire’s head, both of them pushing the other towards them, forcing their lips to press as hard as possible against one another. Fleetfoot ran her tongue over Spitfire’s bottom lip as she eased up slightly before shifting her head and taking on Fire’s lips again. Fleet slowly ran her hoof down the right side of Fire’s neck, brushing it lightly as she moaned softly. Spitfire’s neck was always a very sensitive spot, and the feeling of Fleetfoot’s hoof brushing against it was teasing her.
Fleetfoot pulled back again, a small trail of saliva connected between their mouths briefly before she slid her nose across Spitfire’s cheek and down towards her neck. She teased her further by tracing a circle around her cheek and shoulders with her nose, licking the same space, but remaining just outside her sweet spot. Fire bit her lower lip and moaned in anticipation, ready to protest and force Fleet to just do it. The instant before she spoke up, Fleetfoot moved in and planted a very strong kiss to her neck.
Spitfire gasped, her eyes widening for a moment as she shivered with delight.
"Fleet!" she moaned as Fleetfoot sucked on her neck and followed up with a gentle nuzzle, enjoying the feeling of Fire’s body shivering against hers.
Fleetfoot was loving it too much. The pleasurable moans and sighs from Spitfire were so satisfying to hear. So she decided to give her the full works. Fleetfoot knew what drove Fire wild and she was going to give her every bit of satisfaction she could provide. Fleet began sliding her nose down Fire’s neck, to her shoulder, around her chest, and down to her abdomen. She began rubbing her nose up and down Fire’s well-toned stomach while reaching her hooves towards Fire’s flanks.
Spitfire gasped as she felt the soft touch of Fleet’s nose against her belly. Fleet had attacked another soft spot, but she was not expecting the two pronged attack. The sudden pressure of Fleetfoot’s hooves against her cutie marks sent a wave from the tip of her hooves all the way up to the top of her head, she squeaked with delight as she felt the pleasure cover every inch of her body. Fleetfoot made one more pass around Fire’s stomach with her muzzle softly nuzzling and gently planting kisses before slowly pulling her back toward Fire’s face, making sure her body was pressed firmly against Fire’s as she moved so her lover could feel every inch of her.
Spitfire's warm, quickened breath crashed against Fleetfoot’s face as she moved in front of hers once more. Fire’s eyes parted slowly, looking up into Fleetfoot’s as they gazed down upon her visage and took in the sight of her beauty. The moment was brief. Their lips were together again in an instant, both reaching and grabbing each other's faces, sucking passionately on each other's lips, sharing their drive and desire for the other. Their heads shifted back and forth as their lips moved and slid along. Spitfire forced her tongue against Fleetfoot’s mouth, Fleet reacting with her own. Their lips parted as their tongues tangled, saliva coating the edges of their mouths as they lost the will to keep it clean and the kisses became sloppy.
They moaned and exhaled with delight in the brief moments they parted to come up for air. Never waiting more than a second before attacking each other again.
"Oh, Fleet!" Spitfire let her name slip in between their kisses as she wrapped her arms and legs around Fleet's body and squeezed her tightly as they continued to exchange the sweet nectar of each others mouths.
Fleetfoot's zealous motions eventually caused her to tip and fall off of Fire, the two parted lips and gasped for air, panting as they lay side by side. Spitfire, still on her back, turned her head to stare at Fleet. Fleetfoot remained in her reclined position and looked back at Fire. Fleet smiled as Fire continued to lightly pant, her light breaths laced with a soft sighs of satisfaction. Fleetfoot leaned in and planted a light, soft kiss on Spitfire’s cheek.
"What... was... that for?" Spitfire asked between light pants.
Fleetfoot looked up to the mare with another one of her sly grins, "You whine to much," she replied teasingly.
Spitfire's mind started to think back to the previous conversation, but before she could open her mouth to reply a hoof clasped her lips shut. Fleetfoot leaned back down to the mare, her eyes locked onto Spitfire's. The mare could feel the sincerity of the words which followed from her, "Spitfire, I love you. It doesn't matter what other stallions or mares should think of us because we love each other, but I don't want us to be hiding in parties or sitting apart in the locker rooms anymore. I want to be able to kiss my mare whenever I want in the workplace."
Spitfire felt a smile form on her lips, know Fleetfoot to leave her serious talk with a comical twist. As she felt the hoof leave her muzzle she spoke, "You're right Fleet," she started with a small giggle as the mare teased her neck again.
"I'm always right," Fleetfoot responded with a grin.
Spitfire suddenly felt like their last make out wasn't enough. She turned towards Fleetfoot and quickly reached out, pulling their faces back together as Fleetfoot released a playful giggle.
But suddenly, the door opened.
Both mares turned to see the drunken Soarin, he stared at the mares with the widest eyes he could muster in his current state, a pause of awkward silence came over the now three ponies in the room before Soarin spoke.
“Continue…”
Soarin didn’t get a chance to react at the many things that were chucked at him.

First of all I would like to give credit to Calm Wind for writing the amazing make-out scene and the beginning scene. This pairing has recently become one of my top 3 faves and since there wasn't really any fictions out there... why not start the fire myself?
