Chapters Princess Twilight Sparkle
It all started on a peaceful summer day in the Sparkle household. In the purple room on the second floor, three teenage girls were having a nice conversation. The first girl was a country farm girl named Applejack. An honest-to-goodness, down-to-earth kind of girl. Never telling a lie and always speaking the truth. The second teenage girl was a timid, gentle female known as Fluttershy. She was delicate and demure never hurting anyone. But when it came to her friends, she would bravely defend them if they were in trouble. Finally, the last girl was Twilight Sparkle. Twilight was the " nerd" of the group. She was one of the smartest students in her school. Always wanting to make new friends, and help out people in times of trouble. These three girls had been best friends for a long time. Little did they know, that today, they're lives would change drastically.
"Boy, howdy, I don't know 'bout y'all, but I am bored. This summer has been nothing but slow," Applejack said with a sigh.
"Well, I've been having a nice time taking care of the pets I sit for. Though, that's pretty much all I've been doing this summer," Fluttershy responded.
"Well, this is just one of those summers. Canterlot isn't a very interesting city. Nothing bad usually happens here not counting minor robberies and things like that," Twilight mentioned.
Canterlot was the capital of their country Humania. Despite that, nothing majorly big ever really occurred.
"I just hope that one of these days, something, shall we say, different will happen. I'm not a fan of boring days myself," Twilight grunted.
"Well, I just hope that if something does happen, it won't be scary. I don't like scary," Fluttershy said hiding behind her luscious pink hair.
"Oh, don't worry, Fluttershy. I'm pretty sure nothing scary is going to happen. Especially in a city like this," The lavender female said comfortingly.
"Exactly, sugarcube. Canterlot's not a place to attract scary things," Applejack put in, placing a hand over the shy girl's shoulder.
"Now, why don't we talk about something that's happier like...oh! I know! Let's talk about, uh, girls?" Twilight noticed the two were no longer focused on her, but rather something behind her. She slowly turned around and, low and behold, her closet door was glowing casting a dim but visible light.
There was a long silence. Applejack eventually broke it. "Uh, Twi? Are ma eyes decievin' me or is your closet glowing?"
"It's not!" Fluttershy squealed covering her face with her hands. "I see it, too!
Twilight looked to both of her friends and realized neither one of them were willing to check it out. She took a deep breath and walked forward.
"Be careful, Twilight!" warned Fluttershy, now cowering behind Applejack.
Twilight cautiously approached the closet door hoping nothing would jump out at her. She began pondering worst case scenarios. It could be aliens planning on invading earth. It could be a radioactive specimen. It could be a nuclear bomb almost at it's exploding point. All she could do was expect for the worst and hope for the best. She put a shaky hand on the doorknob. With another deep breath, she slowly opened the door.
The light faded revealing a golden box with intricate designs carved into it.
"That's strange," Twilight muttered as she picked it up,"How did this beautiful box wind up in my closet? I certainly didn't put it there."
"I'd be more concerned about what's in it, if I was you." Applejack said peeking over Twilight's shoulder.
"Well, I guess we'd better find out." Twilight lifted the lid of the box. What was in it was not what she was expecting. Inside the box lay a stunning golden crown with a magenta star-shaped sapphire engraved in the middle.
"Wow!" exclaimed Fluttershy,"That's a really pretty crown."
"Indeed it is, " Twilight agreed,"But how'd it get here? Did someone give it to me without me knowing? That might explain why I've never seen it before. But then that leaves the question of who'd want to get rid of something as beautiful as this in the first place?"
"Well, as Granny Smith always says ' Never look a gift horse in the mouth'. I say you should try it on," encouraged Applejack.
"Well, I guess it wouldn't hurt. I will try to figure out where this came from though." Twilight placed the crown on her head. Once she put it on, a magenta aura surrounded her and levitated her into the air.
Applejack and Fluttershy yelped simultaneously, "Twilight!" Their shouts were in vain because Twilight couldn't hear them.
While in the air, she began to change. Her ears became that of a pony's, her hair grew and if you looked at her front the front, it would look like a tail. Wings sprouted onto her back, while a unicorn horn grew and stuck out on her forehead. She instantly felt a new kind of energy course through her body. With one final burst of magenta, her transformation was complete.
Applejack and Fluttershy both stood with widened eyes and loose jaws. Twilight came back down and marveled at her transformation.
"Check me out!" exclaimed the newly formed Twilight,"I've got wings! And a horn! Which I'm assuming, judging by its appearance, is a unicorn horn. And according to what I've read about unicorns, I should be able to perform magic. Funny, I never believed unicorns were real. Maybe they are. But in any case, let's test out my new appendages, shall we?" She tried to feel the new muscles which came from the wings. As soon as she felt them, she tried to move them. After a few attempts, she was finally able to flap them. "Well, now I can move them. Let's try flying." Twilight jumped into the air and tried to fly. And of course, she falls onto her face.
"Oh my! Twilight, are you okay?" Fluttershy asked concerned.
Twilight raised her head and shook it clearing it out. "Ugh, yah, I'm fine. Trust me, I've done worse."
"It might take you awhile to learn how to control them, " said Applejack, "So, I suggest stayin' off 'em until you're sure you can fly."
"Yah, I think I'll do that. Now, I may not be able to fly, but let's see if I can perform magic." Twilight looked around trying to find something she could test it out on. She eventually decided to use a book. "I'm going to see if I can levitate this book." She concentrated on the object, and what she wanted to do to the object. After a few minutes, the book was floating in mid-air engulfed in a magenta aura.
"I did it!" Twilight exclaimed triumphantly,"I guess I'm better at magic then I am at flying. Which kind of makes sense considering magic requires focus and concentration which I'm good at."
"Um, Twilight? I don't mean to interrupt, but, um, are you going to tell anyone about this?" Fluttershy questioned.
Twilight was about say yes when a thought came across her mind. If she told anyone about this, they might treat her differently. She certainly felt sad she couldn't tell her family, especially Shining Armor. Shining Armor was her older brother who was Captain of the Canterlot Police Force. He was her best friend, and she would always share with him everything that happened to her. Except for this, of course.
Twilight sighed heavily, "If I tell people, they might treat me differently. Some good, some bad. I don't want to take any risks."
"What about the other girls? If we know, they should know," Applejack pointed out. She was referring to Twilight's other best friends Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, and Rarity. Together, the six girls were a team that could never be separated. It pained Twilight's heart all the more that she couldn't tell them either.
"If my family can't know, they can't know either. It wouldn't be fair. You two only know because you were here when it happened. You must Pinkie Promise that you will not tell anyone, okay?"
"Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye," The two girls recited while doing the motions.
"Thanks, girls. I know it'll be difficult to keep this a secret, but it would be even more difficult if people knew," Twilight said with a sad expression.
"Don't worry about it, hon. You're secret is safe with us. Right, Fluttershy?"
"Right."
Twilight nodded gratefully to her friends. She took off her crown and instantly became normal. She placed her crown into her safe in order to keep it hidden. Twilight then walked over to her two friends putting her arms around the both of them.
"My life sure got interesting." She said chuckling.
"Twilight? What will you use your new powers for?" asked Fluttershy,
Twilight thought for a moment but then relplied, "I...don't actually know. Hopefully I'll know soon."
Princess Twilight Sparkle
Ever since Twilight had found the mysterious crown, she had been pondering about what she wanted to use her new powers for. She didn't want to tell anyone because she didn't know how certain people would react. Her friends Applejack and Fluttershy had given her some ideas, but she turned down all of them. Except for one. Applejack had suggested for Twilight to become a superhero. After all, she could fly and she had special powers. Twilight took the idea into consideration. She then began to take her crown with her wherever she went, keeping it hidden, of course. Sadly, this city wasn't a criminal invested city. However, one night, that all changed.
"Twilight!" called Shining Armor, Twilight's older brother.
"Yes, Shiny?" She answered back from upstairs.
"Come down for a sec."
Footsteps were heard descending the staircase. "You were saying?"
"Mom wants to take us to Fine Dining tonight. I've got a, heh, big announcement to make." Twilight didn't notice, but her brother was blushing lightly.
"Neat! We haven't had family bonding time for awhile. With you leading the CPF, and Mom and Dad working, it's been quite lonely here in the house." Shining Armor noticed his sister's smile turn into a frown as she said that. He walked up to her and put his arms around her. "I know, Twily. I've missed hanging out with the family, too. You guys are the most important people in the world to me. Sadly, Canterlot needs protection, even if nothing big ever happens. But, I'll see if I can get some days off. Sound good?"
"Sounds good. Thanks, BBBFF! You're the best."
"So are you. Now, I need to head out. Mom will be home in a little while. Love you, sis." He gave her head a quick rub and headed out the door.
Meanwhile, on the outskirts of town, a swirling vortex appeared. Out of the vortex an army of humans came forth. The odd thing about them was that these humans had holes throughout their body. They also had these bug like wings on their back and a curved black horn protruding from their foreheads. These humans were known as CHANGELINGS. Chrysalis, the leader of these Changelings, looked out into the city of Canterlot with an evil expression on her face.
"If I can't conquer Equestria, I'll conquer this world instead. And there will be no Celestia, no Cadence, and no Twilight Sparkle to stop me."
About an hour later, Twilight was ready to leave. She grabbed her purse, her phone, and her crown.
"I'd better take this just in case. You never know if something might happen." Twilight muttered to herself. Knowing she had everything she needed, she went downstairs to see if it was time to leave.
Twilight found her mom reading a book on the recliner. Twilight Velvet was a middle-aged woman in her early fifties. She was a mystery novelist and a mother that loved her children dearly. She was married to Nightlight, a professor at Canterlot University. Twilight was proud to be apart of this family. Everyone in her family played an important role in their society.
"Oh, hi, honey! I didn't you hear you come in. Do you need something? Oh! You should be getting ready. Your father will be picking us up in thirty minutes." Velvet told her daughter.
"Oh, good. That's what I was going to ask. I am ready. Hey, where's Shining?" Twilight noticed that her brother was not there.
"Your brother will be meeting us at the restaurant. He's picking up Cadence." Twilight's mother informed her.
"Cadence is going to be there?! Yeah, I love Cadence!" She exclaimed. Mi Amore Cadenza or Cadence was Twilight's babysitter when she was younger and Shining Armor's girlfriend. They had been dating for about a year or so. Cadence and Twilight had always been the best of friends, and they still were.
Thirty minutes later, Twilight and her parents were seated in the car and were on their way to Fine Dining. They had to take a different way because two policemen were blocking off the road. No one noticed it, but if you took a good look at the two officers, you'd see that their eyes were glowing a faint green. Regardless, the Sparkle family took the detour and arrived ten minutes later. They saw Shining Armor and Cadence sitting on a bench outside waiting for them. Once the car was parked, Twilight rushed out the car.
"Cadence!"
"Twilight!" The two girls met up with a big hug and began their little handshake.
Sunshine, sunshine,
Ladybugs awake.
Clap your hands
And do a little shake.
Everyone laughed at their childish way of greeting.
"Cadence, dear, how are you doing? I have not seen you in a few weeks. I hope you've been taking care of my son," Velvet teased. Cadence and Shining looked away from each other slightly embarrassed.
"I've been doing fine, Ms. Velvet. Shining and I are doing wonderful. Aren't we, Shiny? Uh, Shiny?" Shining was not paying attention to his girlfriend anymore. His eyes and attention were fixated on huge explosions of green light coming from different spots in the city. Car alarms were going off; people were screaming. You didn't need to be a genius to realize that something was wrong.
"I need to go investigate," Shining Armor took out his phone. "Sharp Edge, Cunning, get over to Fine Dining. STAT! I need some help," Shining and Nightlight ran off to see what all the commotion was. The girls stayed behind. Twilight and Cadence were standing by until they heard Velvet scream. Behind them, was a Changeling, ready to pounce like a lion chasing a bird. The three girls backed away slowly. Twilight immediately reasoned that they were the ones attacking the city. She also came up with an idea. Maybe not her smartest, but it was better than nothing. Twilight ran in the opposite direction, Velvet and Cadence following closely behind her. Twilight ran into a nearby alley and allowed her mother and Cadence to run ahead of her. She could see the destruction these things had caused. Cars were turned over, explosions were heard everywhere, and these creatures were causing it. Twilight would not let this go by uncorrected. She took out her crown.
"Now's the time to see if I can be a hero. The whole city sort of depends on it." She placed the crown on her head and transformed.
High above the city, Queen Chrysalis gazed upon the town with malicious pleasure. "That's it my Changelings. Drain the love out of these pathetic beings. This time there won't be anything to stop us. We'll rid this entire country of its love. Nothing in this world will be able to stand in our way. Nothing!" The evil queen let out a vicious laugh. Twilight heard this and assumed she was the leader. She flew up. "You know, it's really foolish to monologue your evil scheme without checking if anyone's listening."
Chrysalis froze. She recognized that voice. A voice that could cheer up a depressed friend and instill fear into her enemies. Twilight Sparkle. But, how could she be here? Had she discovered the queen's plans? Did she come here to stop them? Chrysalis did not have the patience to wait for those answers.
"Twilight Sparkle, you little brat. You were the downfall to my perfect plan! Equestria could've been mine had it not been for your pesky meddling!" Chrysalis hissed.
"Wait! How do you know who I am? What's Equestria?" Twilight asked, confused.
"Oh, don't give me that nonsense. Trying to play innocent won't do you a thing of good!" The Changeling queen spoke harshly.
Twilight realized what was going on. These weren't ordinary villains. There was only one explanation for it. "You're from another world, aren't you? The magic you possess is not of this world. " Twilight said with a little quiver in her voice.
"I am. You must be this world's Twilight. That doesn't explain why you have wings and a horn, though. However, since you are most likely inexperienced with magic, it'll give me great joy knowing I defeated Princess Twilight Sparkle. Pony or not." Chrysalis shot a fiery beam at Twilight which caught her by surprise. She barely dodged it.
"Changelings! Forget those simpletons. Attack her!" She ordered pointing in Twilight's direction. A swarm of Changelings flew up and began surrounding the young teenager. She yelped looking for a way out until she remembered she had wings. As the Changelings were about to close in on her, she swiftly flew under them and made them bump heads with each other, knocking some of them out of the air.
"Whew! Never thought I'd be doing--Uh oh!" Another swarm was fast approaching her. Twilight teleported out of their way before they reached her and effectively shot them with a beam from her own horn. Another group taken care of. Queen Chrysalis was fuming. "YOU IDIOTS! She should be NO match for you! You are absolutely pathetic! I guess it's up to me. The rest of you, resume the invasion. I'll take care of her." The remaining Changelings did as they were told.
"It's you and me, Sparkle. Scared?"
"Never. I'm ready to defend my home. And I'm not going to stand idly by while it gets decimated. Bring it on!"
The fight began. Chrysalis shot four consecutive beams at Twilight. She sliced them in half with her magic. Twilight teleported behind Chrysalis and shot an attack from behind which Chrysalis easily deflected. The battle continued like this for fifteen minutes straight.
The two opponents had barely broken a sweat. Chrysalis and Twilight shot beams at each other simultaneously causing their beams to collide. Chrysalis's beam was advancing closer to Twilight. The Changeling queen's face broke into an evil grin as she noticed Twilight struggle.
"Face it, Twilight! You've lost. I've won. You'll never beat me." That is what it looked like. Twilight's head was beginning to pound from the magical strain. She couldn't keep it up much longer. Twilight opened one eye. She saw people watching the battle. If they were sitting in chairs, they'd be on the edge of them. There were people counting on her. She wouldn't give up easily. Twilight felt some newfound strength run through her body. Twilight's beam began gaining on Chrysalis's beam.
"NO! NO! NOT AGAIN!" Chrysalis screamed.
"Correction: I've won, and you've lost!" Twilight exclaimed triumphantly. A burst of magical energy emanated from Twilight which flung the Queen and her Changelings out of Canterlot and into some unknown place. The citizens of Canterlot were cheering loudly for their new hero. They had no idea who she was. The crown had placed a perception on Twilight. People saw Twilight and would remember what she did, but they would forget what she looked like if they tried to remember.
Twilight arrived home, exhausted. That battle had taken a lot out of her. Her family was relieved to see her as she had disappeared without a trace.
"Twilight, honey! Where were you? When you ran ahead, Cadence and I lost you. What happened? Are you hurt?" Her mother bombarded her with questions.
"I was...helping some of the people in the streets escape those Changelings. I did a lot of running and dodging," Twilight lied. She could not tell her family that she had just defeated the entire Changeling army and their Queen.
"Well, run up to bed, missy. I bet you'll be just fine in the morning. Maybe you can figure out just what those things were," Her dad recommended. Twilight was more than willing to oblige. She quickly bade everyone good night, got ready for bed, and climbed into it immediately allowing sleep to take her. She didn't know what the future had in store, but she did know that she would be ready for it.
Princess Twilight Sparkle
News of Tuesday night spread fast. Everyone was talking about the mysterious girl who had stopped the Changelings from destroying Canterlot. The media had given every bit of information they could about the girl, but her name remained a mystery. People who witnessed the battle couldn't remember what she looked like. They had an idea, but they couldn't quite picture her appearance. Until the heroine identified herself, she would remain unnamed.
Twilight Sparkle was enjoying an afternoon lunch with her friends a Sugarcube Corner Café. They were all talking about the events that had transpired on Tuesday night. Twilight looked at Applejack and Fluttershy and could tell they knew.
"Did you guys see those things?! They were creepy. Not that I was scared or anything, but seriously where did they come from?" Rainbow asked.
"I don't know if anyone knows. I hope that those things won't come back. They caused such havoc out there." Rarity commented.
"What I'd like to know is who that girl was. You know, the girl that beat up those weird bug things. No one can remember what she looks like. Why would she not want anyone to know what she looked like?" Pinkie wondered.
"I don't know. Maybe she's just trying to conceal herself," Twilight replied, "She might also not want to attract too much attention to herself. I'm not saying that's the reason. It's just a possibility."
"Yah, she's probably just shy. Like me." Fluttershy said.
"I'm sure there's a good reason why Tw--I mean that superhero girl doesn't want people to know her. It's probably a personal reason. Let's talk about something else." Applejack suggested.
"You guys go ahead. I'm going to get a milkshake." Twilight walked up to the counter where she saw a familiar face. "Oh, hi, Flash!"
"Oh, hey, Twilight! How are you doing?" He asked. Flash Sentry was part of the Rockers at CHS. Twilight liked Flash as a friend and may have had a little crush on him.
"I'm doing fine. Funny bumping into you again." She replied twisting her hair in her hand.
"Heh, yah. Well, can't help it if our paths like each other so much that have to keep crossing. Not that I mind, of course." Flash joked which caused Twilight to blush.
"Heh, yah. So, did you hear about what happened Tuesday?" Twilight asked.
"How could I have not heard? It's the big story on CNN. Can you believe that people who witnessed the battle can't even remember what she looked like?"
"I know. She probably had some sort of perception on her. It alters your appearance and makes people pay little attention to you." Twilight explained.
"I guess that's possible. But, why wouldn't she tell anyone her name? I would think she would want some recognition."
"She obviously has a reason. Let's hope we won't have to worry about threats like those Changelings." Twilight said.
"How do you know they're called Changelings? Did you make that name up?"
"That's what those creatures called themselves. You won't believe what kind of power they have. They're not even from this world. Chrysalis mentioned something about a place called Equestria. I've never heard of it, but from what she told me, she tried to take it over and failed."
"Who's Chrysalis? How do you know all this?" Flash was becoming suspicious.
"Oh, I, uh, hey, my shake's here. I got to head back to my friends. TTYL!" Twilight rushed over to her friends.
"What took you so long, Twilight? You were up there for a long time." Pinkie noticed.
"I ran into Flash. We just talked a little bit. That's all." Twilight stated quickly. She had to remember to keep her powers a secret.
"Um, Twilight? Can Fluttershy and I talk to you? In private." Applejack asked. Twilight understood.
"Sure, we can talk in the bathroom. We'll be right back, girls." The other girls looked at each other unsure. Twilight, Applejack, and Fluttershy headed to bathroom quickly.
"They're hiding something from us! I just know it!" Pinkie exclaimed.
"I believe you are right, darling. Those three act like they know something that we don't," Rarity replied, "Rainbow, where are you going?" She noticed that Rainbow Dash was sneaking towards the bathroom.
"To find out what they're hiding. Duh!" Rainbow put an ear to the door. Their voices were muffled, but she could still tell what they were saying.
"Twilight, that was you that night? Wasn't it?" Rainbow heard Applejack say.
"Yes, I'm the one that stopped the Changelings. I was also he one to defeat Chrysalis, the Changelings' leader. Apparently, the crown put a perception on me. Whenever people try to remember what I look like, their brain can't focus on the image. " Twilight's voice explained.
"Wait, that was Twilight?!" Rainbow whispered in disbelief.
"Then how come we're unaffected?" Fluttershy asked.
"Probably because you guys have already seen me, the crown allowed you to remember my appearance. Then again, I don't know much about magic, so it's just a hunch."
Rainbow brought the other two girls to listen as well. "Listen."
"What were those things?" AJ asked.
"They're called Changelings. I don't know what they are really, but here's what's really creepy. They aren't even from this world. The Changeling Queen mentioned a place called Equestria. I've never heard of it. That means I have to get information about it," Twilight replied.
"So, those things were a-aliens?" Fluttershy whispered.
"That's what it looks like. Other worldly beings are known as aliens. And since they are from another world, they would be considered extraterrestrial."
Rainbow, Rarity, and Pinkie looked at each other curiously.
"I have to get going. I want to start researching that place Chrysalis mentioned," She began heading towards the exit. The three eavesdropping girls quickly scrambled back to their seats and pretended to be talking about something. Twilight walked up to them.
"I have to leave, girls. Sorry, we took so long. I'll see you later." With that, she left the Café.
They all left soon afterwards. Rarity, Pinkie, and Rainbow were walking together as they talked about what they heard in the bathroom.
"Do you think it's true? Was that really Twilight?" Rainbow asked.
"If she said it, then yes. Why would she say something like that if it wasn't?" Rarity pointed out.
"Well, if it is true, she's been keeping secrets! AJ and Fluttershy have been keeping secrets! Why would they keep that a secret from us?" Pinkie questioned.
"Apparently, they were there when Twilight first transformed," Rainbow told them.
"Well, I guess that makes sense. But, wouldn't it be kind if hard for Twilight to be superhero if no one is able to see her?" Pinkie pointed out.
"It's not that no one can see her. Twilight mentioned that her crown placed a perception on her. Any time people try to remember her, they can't quite picture what she looked like," Rarity explained.
"Well, we can't hide the fact that we know. I say we go to Twilight and tell her," Rainbow said.
"Dashie's right. It will only make us feel guilty if we lie about," The three girls nodded to each other and headed over to Twilight's house.
Twilight was on her laptop searching for information about that world called Equestria. But no matter what websites she went to, whether be Google or Wikipedia, she couldn't find anything, which, of course, only frustrated her.
"Are you serious?! There is nothing about Equestria anywhere on here? Some help this turned out to be," She shut her laptop. "Maybe I'll go to library later today. Hopefully, they'll have some helpful insight." She heard the doorbell ring.
"Twilight! It's your friends!" Velvet called.
"Huh? That's strange. I just saw them earlier. What could they need? Oh, well. I'll find out shortly," Twilight came down the stairs and greeted the three girls.
"Oh! It's just you guys. What are you doing here?" Twilight asked.
They looked at each other, and Rarity stepped forward,"Can we talk?"
Twilight looked at them suspiciously, "About what?"
"Let's just go to your room," the three girls headed to Twilight's room while Twilight lingered behind.
"What are they up to?"
Twilight entered her room a few seconds later. She sat down on her bed and looked each of them in the eye.
"All right, we're here. What do you want?"
Rainbow took a deep breath, "Twilight, we know."
"Know what?"
"I know we shouldn't have, but we overheard your conversation in the bathroom. You were the one who defeated those creatures, aren't you," This made Twilight fall off her bed. She quickly got up.
"You guys were eavesdropping?! Why would you that?" Twilight exclaimed.
"Why wouldn't we? We're all best friends, and friends should never keep secrets!" Pinkie replied loudly. Twilight looked very worried.
"So, y-you're saying you heard everything?"
"Every word, darling. Though, I must admit, if you're planning on becoming a superhero, don't you think people would want to know who you are?" Rarity pointed out.
"People will treat me differently. I don't want to be treated different," Twilight quickly explained.
"Are you talking paparazzi? Twilight, you don't necessarily have to worry about them. I'm sure if you tell them to leave you alone, they will. Canterlot will respect your wishes," Rarity assured her.
"Won't villains try to come here?"
"Nah! Most villains would never attempt to do that. If they know where a superhero lives, they will stay away if they know what's good for them," Rainbow proclaimed. Twilight thought about for a long time. She, eventually, got up and walked over to her safe. She opened it and took out her crown. Rarity and Pinkie's eyes widened. Even Rainbow Dash was impressed.
"I thought about what you said. And I guess you're right. If I truly am going to be Canterlot's heroine, people are going to have to know," Twilight placed the crown on her head, and with a burst of magic she transformed. The three girls stood there with the same expression as Applejack and Fluttershy.
"So here I am. What do you think?" She flapped her wings and hovered in place.
"That...is...AWESOME!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed.
"You look so cool, Twilight! Have you thought of a name for yourself?" Pinkie asked.
" Well, I--"
"I've got it! Since you have a crown, I think you deserve the title of Princess Twilight Sparkle. " Rarity suggested.
Twilight gave it some thought, "Princess Twilight Sparkle, eh? I like it." And so, the superhero career of Princess Twilight Sparkle would officially begin. True, people might treat her different, but she was okay with it. With the help of her friends, she would be able to get through it.
