Corruption's Dissonance
A threat thought eleminated in the vast expanse of space returns from near death, once again intent on spreading corruption...
With the destruction of the planet Phaaze, Samus Aran's arduous fight against Phazon has ended. However, in the vast regions of space, this victory is just a twinkling of a star, spreading the light of hope through the darkness.
When Phaaze was destroyed, all phazon tied to the planet was completely obliterated, leaving no trace of the highly radioactive substance within anyone or anything.
All but one source…
Before the Galactic Federation launched their attack on the planet of corruption, it had released one final "seed" into space. When the planet self-destructed, the Leviathan went dark, drifting endlessly in space with no direction or purpose.
The Dark Hunter, destroyed once again by her hated enemy, has found her last lifeline. Opting to start again, she turned the Leviathan to crash into the nearest planet.
The star-borne plague has set it's sights on Equestria. After all; creatures with no technology couldn't possibly harness its own phazon against it, right?
The time of harmony is over. Corruption will be all that remains…
This story won't have Samus Aran in it, instead featuring her phazonic doppelganger. I have yet to see a story that had Dark Samus in it and I've been tossing this idea around in my head for a while.
Note that this will take place after the episode Princess Twilight Sparkle.
