It awoke upon a stone slab, limb and neck constrained to it. In the dimly lit room, which only light source shined from behind a pane of tinted glass, there was nothing but the walls of concrete surrounding the creature. As the creature looked around, it noticed the vertical cut in the concrete wall in front of him and a horizontal cut in each wall next to it that implied the walls were not connected. The creature attempted to find some kind of escape; looking around, it could find nothing but the small specks of dirt littering the floor. It wouldn't have mattered anyhow, even if the creature found some kind of instrument that could unbind it, it could barely move its limbs from their held position.
A figure appeared behind the glass, creating a silhouette forming in the center of the bright light. Twilight Sparkle's voice came transferring through an intercom broke the silence that was maddening the creature. "Subject, in my sincerest apologies it saddens me that my fellow associates and I must conduct these solemn experiments. To be clear, we are conducting these experiments solely for curiosity and is in no way personal, even if it may seem so. You will be put through six tests; sadly I cannot specify them for it may tamper with the results. We hope that when these evaluations are concluded you will not find us accountable for committing what you may call 'immoral' acts. Better yet, you should feel ecstatic that you have helped us progress in our studies. Thank you, and good luck." click The figure disappeared.
The left wall opened where the cut in the wall was made and the bottom half lowered like a drawbridge. Inside that wall was an even darker room the animal was in, so dark that all it could see was a sense of movement from inside of it. From inside a small, purple glow emerged from the darkness, illuminating Twilight's face, and grew brighter and brighter. In one second the rooms were bathed in this light, blinding and stunning the creature until immediate darkness washed over. When the creature regained its wits, it started to feel a sharp pain throughout its body. It looked down to find its own blood vessels entangling its body, strangling its now hollow skin. The creature wailed in agony as every pump of blood constricted it tighter and tighter as it drowned in its own blood. A moment before its last breath, the same flash that caused this horror instantaneously brought the creature back to its former self. Its chest rose trying to gasp in the dusty, rotten air.
It finally came to after a few hours of shock. It awoke in the same position and same place it had found itself before the atrocity, Twilight's unicorn silhouette came back to the window. “Subject, thank you for cooperating for the first test, we hope that you . In a few moments you will be moved to the second test. This is the last time you will be hearing from me. And again, good luck.”
The platform the animal was splayed across made a sharp jolt, and a skinny track rose from under it leading forward to the front wall. The platform shook again until it started to move along the track. It shook and creaked as the two parts between the split in the wall separated and revealed a new room identical to the previous. The creature's eyes widened when the intercom crackled. It saw a new figure behind the glass. "Good day, Subject-Darling. I see you have endured the last test very well, we hope you will hold up just as well for this test, which will begin in a moment." The intercom crackled again and the female's voice disappeared along with her silhouette.
After a moment of silence the creature was panicking and shooting its head left and right to at least see what was coming. Before it could react, two shackles shot down from the ceiling to wrap around its limbs and slowly retracted back to the ceiling. The previous bindings released it as it was pulled higher and higher. With a metallic clank, the shackles stopped and left it dangling. Both of the side walls opened and three skinny, cannon-like objects stuck out on each side. Rapid explosions deafened the creature and choked it in smoke. With every bang the creature whelped while small, sharp pieces of metal penetrated its body. The barrage finally stopped and the smoke cleared when the figure squeezed through one of the cannons and entered the testing room; Rarity appeared from the darkness. "Oh, it looks absolutely marvelous!" She exclaimed, glancing at the needles hanging from the bloody threads that still vacated its body. "Finally, I have some red material!" She pulled out the thread and some of the few needles stuck in its body slowly and carefully. The creature moaned and groaned with every yank. She left the room with a blood-dripping wicker basket filled with thread and some of the excess tissue that happened to get in the way. She returned to the intercom. "The second examination is now complete." It was released from the shackles, that were still hanging it from the ceiling, and dropped straight on the stone table and rebound at the moment its body touched it; its body too numb to feel the impact. "Thank you for your cooperation, please prepare for the next test. This is the last you will be hearing from me, Dear." The stone shook and it was carried off to the next test.
It snapped awake by the sound of the intercom. The figure's restless behavior and excited, shrill voice made it obvious that it was none other than Rainbow Dash. "Hey! This test is gonna be great! Hope you like it!" The ceiling opened to reveal a long, wide tunnel. The tunnel went on for as far as the creature could see. Soon after, the floor opened as well to show the same. The stone slab retracted into itself so all that the only thing that wasn't dangling off of it was the creature's torso and head. There was a gust of air that blew past the creature and at one instant the figure behind the glass was gone. Through the tunnel, the creature could barely make out an object moving closer. As it progressed it gained speed. It moved faster and faster until it heard a bang. The object shot past and collided with one of the creature's limbs. The bones shattered and small portions were ripped from its body. The object repeated this until every limb was obliterated. The creature did not see the damage being caused. All it could process was what happened before and after the object shot past. The creature could hear sounds of happiness emanating from deep within the tunnel after every sonic boom died out. The limbs that weren't already separated from its body dangled by the skin, A minute or two after the object stopped, the floor and the ceiling closed and the intercom cracked and Rainbow Dash's voice returned. "I know that we're not supposed to talk to you personally, but that was fun. On to the next test!"
The next room was quiet for a long while. The creature could hear distant arguing behind the glass frequently until a figure was rushed in front of it. The intercom crackled with Fluttershy's shaking voice bawling behind it. "I-I am so sorry. Fluttershy continued to whimper and snivel as she prepared the experiment. "P-p-please... f-forgive me!" Both side walls opened, growling echoed from within. "F-feed, my angels." On the right side, a Bengal tiger crawled out, immediately pouncing on the creature. Claws dug into what was left of the bound limbs ready to feast. The tiger sank its teeth into the side of the creature, and ripped out a mouthful of flesh. The tiger lifted its head back slowly to chew down the meat, but was stopped. From the left, a black bear charged from the darkness and rammed the tiger head on, throwing it off of the stone slab onto the ground. The tiger recovered and began to retaliate. The tiger leaped for the bears throat, but the bear countered with a swinging paw, knocking the tiger back. The tiger paced to and fro, trying to find an opening. When the tiger was ready, it leaped on the table to get a better advantage. The bear circled the table, which the tiger followed suit, leaving impressions and cuts in the victim's body as the tiger spun its body around. The tiger leaped again, causing the two animals to roll around as they clawed and bit one another. The scuffle lasted for a few minutes. They could all hear muffled wails and banging on the glass, but it was easy to ignore when their lives were on the line. When it ended, the tiger rose and made a fierce growl. It limped its way over to the victory meal and pulled itself up onto the dinner table. It slowly bent down and opened its mouth from which it drew its scattered breaths. Inches away from tongue touches skin, it stopped; its pupils dilated, heart thumping out of its chest came to a halt, its body landed on the meal before rolling off the table. The creature would have sighed with relief if not for its wounds. There was no dialogue to progress the creature to the next test, only the sight of the Fluttershy's face pressed against the glass, beads of tears trickling down it.
The door opened to a blinding light and beautiful sounds. Its eyes widened to the glistening beauty that stood before it. The creature could barely believe its own eyes when it saw it was outside again. Green grass, beautiful trees with ripe apples budding out of the limbs, small animals, birds chirping, and the sweet air moving through the victim's blood-filled lungs. The stone slab rolled past the wilderness for what seemed like hours for the creature. Until the stone released it, stopped with a screeching halt and threw the animal forward. Falling flat on its face, the creature was relieved for it to be finally over. It buried its nose in the grass as it thought of the divine, merciful being that pitied the beast; it knew she cared for all, even the most despicable. It knew that it would eventually die from its wounds, but in that moment it was content with death. So as it laid there, no limbs to pick itself up, it laid there waiting for death with a smile. But an intercom cracked, behind it was the southern drawl of Applejack's voice. "Thank ya for completin' test five. Please be patient for the next test." Its head shot up, wide eyed. The leaves falling from the trees evaporated, the soft earth and damp grass morphed into the cold stone that ensnared it, and the air returned to its original, musky state. The creature was once again in the stone cubicle of a torture chamber. "Beautiful, wasn't it? Well, prepare for ya next test." The creature didn't move a muscle during the transition of scenery. Its heart didn't even skip a beat when the intercom turned on. The creature was exhausted of hope, exhausted of fear, exhausted of pain. It willingly laid as a portion of stone under it rose and created another table. This was the last test, this is where it knew it was going to be free.
The creature sat in relaxation while the final intercom crackled. "How's it going!? This is the sixth and final test. Now, I don't really know what I'm supposed to do; all they told me to do was have as much fun as possible - I love fun - and then give you a shot. I feel bad for you, I hate shots. Okay, so, I have these things that shoot fire if you want that, has anyone else done that yet? I think I'm gonna do that!" The beast chuckled, not only because of her frenetic behavior but the thought that she could actually hurt it. It was impossible for this test to make this poor animal suffer any more than. It already has. The animal wai- "Ohh! I also have this rea-" Shhh!... Ahem. The animal waited for the onslaught of torture and when it came the creature was overcome with so much joy its own burning flesh was just a gateway of freedom to the animal. As it ended, small embers still scorched its skin while the torturer walked out to give it the "shot". The great party animal, Pinkie Pie, stood in front of it with a long needle ."Ooh, these things make me squeamish! I'm going to look away while I do it." In one jab the creature could feel whatever the deviants thought was necessary to put in its body coursing through its veins. The table rose, and receded into the back wall, leaving the creature hanging by its own flaccid limbs. The creature supposed the shot was some kind of slow-acting poison, or a type of adrenaline to keep it alive for a little longer for more testing. The creature felt no change in any way for a few moments, it thought that whatever they injected it with would have an immediate effect.
