I'm a Ponyby TheGreatEaterChaptersChapter 1Chapter 2Chapter 3Till Next Nihtmare Night.Chapter 1Spike sat alone in the Friendship Castle. A room all of his own, and looking around he noticed something that until recently he had no proof of. The proof that he had no real friends. Sure when everypony was sucked into the comic, they made a huge monologue of how he wasn’t comedic relief, that they were his friends, that he actually mattered. But unlike Twilight who had tons of photos of her and the girls. He had no momentos, no pictures, nothing of them when they eventually died of old age. Even after that event, they never made the very rare, token effort to be part of their lives that wasn’t for them needing him to do some type of work for them. A token effort that over 5 almost 6 years he could count on one hand. Once when he framed Owlicious and Twilight went to get him, that one meteor shower, when he ran off to the dragon migration, the comic book fiasco, and when he almost made a disaster of the Equestrian Games. The rest of the times, they only wanted him around when they needed something. He was pretty sure there was a friendship lesson against that somewhere but he couldn't seem to care to remember which of Twilight's thousands of reports she mentioned it in. After all his work, all of his time, there was one thing for certain. His friends didn’t see him as a friend or as a pony. In truth, he always saw himself as a pony, but he lacked the body of one. Sure Twilight could do a spell to transform him, but those spells were temporary. That, and the traumatic experience of being transformed into a living basket ball had given him a phobia of all transformation magic. As well as a fear that, knowing Twilight, it could go horribly wrong. But he was tired of being treated as a pet, or a non-pony. He didn’t mind being considered girly for a dragon, since he was raised by mares with no male role model in his life. That suited him fine. What do I do? If I go to them, they’ll pour on the honey words, but I have it staring right in front of me that they don’t really care. Worst of all, those girls are the center of my world, but soon they’ll die and become worm food. What can I do to make sure they always stay with me? I’ll guess I’ll just sleep on it. ♥♥♥♥♥ With a burst of insight it came to him during a dream. He dreamt that Rarity and him were sitting in one of Applejack's barn while Rarity was making him a suit made from thread that was the color of all of his friends. In it she said that pictures fade, but a nice suit could last a lifetime. Of course it was weird when Luna arrived. Seeing that he was feeling down, asked him what was wrong, and after telling her she gave him the best advice he could ever hope for. One supplied in the dream before hoof. Get his friends together, and talk to them. Let them know how much they meant to him and it would bring them closer together. Of course Luna’s advice and Spike’s eureka moment couldn’t have been further apart. And it was a moment that Luna would never forgive herself for after the fall out of what was to come. But how was she too know that giving the generic advice of listening to ones dreams could turn out so wrong? But that is neither here nor there. For as Spike awoken, he knew what he needed to do. He needed to make a suit of his friends. A timeless treasure that would not only last through the ages and bring them closer than ever before, but most importantly would ensure that he could be a pony just like his honorary mother was. Or even all the ponies that made him see the pony looking back in the mirror every time he posed his sexy, body in front of the mirror. At least he considered it a sexy body. Especially with the additions he was adding, soon he’d be an alicorn just like his mom. Then she’d finally acknowledge him as family. ♥♥♥♥♥ It was just as the sun was above the rise when he sat across Granny Smith and Big Mac across the table at Sweet Apple Acres. Apple Jack having woken up earlier to go buck the east fields before taking off for a rodeo at Mexicolt for the National Rodeo Championships. Of course Spike had plans for her before she left, but it all came down to this important meeting. “So now Sugarcube,” Granny Smith’s rickety voice said, “You want ta buy one of our barns?” “Yes Granny Smith,” Spike said with an anticipatory grin. “What for?” Granny asked giving him a discerning eye. “Well honestly,” Spike started, he didn’t need to fake the tears coming down his face, “After our home was destroyed, and most of everything being unsalvageable. That new place feels like an imposter. And I guess I just need someplace safe to call my own until I’m ready to go back to …” He waved a claw listlessly in the direction of the castle. Taking a breathe he added, “Also because I like it over here. I know I got carried away with my dragon code, but even when I’m ready to go back, I think having myself a little slice of Ellysium would be nice.” Granny scooted out of her chair and strolled shakily to Spike wrapping him in a hug, “Well there young’in I think we might be able ta get you a barn and we might even be able to work out a deal so it ain’t much of a loss of bits too yer piggy bank.” Spike returned the hug, “Thanks Granny Smith. Between the stipend I got for getting the title, 'Savior of the Crystal Empire' and my raise in allowance. I think I have enough bits to buy one of the older barns near the entrance,” he said as he tossed a rather substantial bag of bits and gems onto the counter. He was loathe to lose such a cut of his horde, but he reminded himself ponies didn’t have hordes. So it was a sacrifice he had to make, that and Rarity taught him there was no too big a sacrifice one could make for one’s friends. Now he just needed to get Applejack to visit before she left and the first part of his plan would be finished. All he needed to do was find a way. And find a way he would, his friends were counting on it. Author's Note This fic had no editors or pre-readers. Any comments or critiques are appreciated. And as of now I don't know if I want to add sex to this or not. I will have this fic finished by Halloween or earlier. Chapter 2Spike had Applejack tied to a table in the cellar. One of the things he was most happiest to have learned under Applejack as her dragon servant was how to tie proper knots. Something Applejack didn’t seem to appreciate when she came up struggling in her bindings. The oaken table thankfully had been nailed shut for when it was previously in use so that no valuable cider or other goodies would fall off easily. It also kept friends from running off before he could explain why they needed to be preserved this way. Spike was busy moving down a few tables from the waggon he procured, Twilight was sad what Spike said he needed a break to compose himself and get over his losses. But she said that he could take as long as he needed, and if he ever wanted to talk she’d be there for him. In Spike’s eyes, she really was the best mom ever. And soon she wouldn’t have those nightmares of losing everypony, something that made his own fears of that day coming even worse. At least until Luna helped him see what he must do. He would’ve loved to do Rarity first, since he loved her dearly. But Applejack was leaving and if she died out on the road, he would never have saved her by making her last forever. At least in a sense. A part of him knew that Apple Bloom would be sad when Applejack disappeared, but who knew, after his friends were immortalized. He might move onto their families next. So that way they’d never be lonely again. ♥♥♥♥♥ After Spike had set up his little sewing room in the cellar, he looked at Applejack with a grin. As he saw the hurt and betrayal in her eyes he gave a little chuckle, “Don’t look like that AJ. I’m giving you the greatest gift of all. Immortality. After I make a suit out of all of my friends I never have to worry about losing you girls, you’ll always be with me and each other. How great is that?” Applejack looked at him as if peering into his very soul. And after seeing deep inside her he could see the fight leave her body. Removing her gag he said, “Sorry about that I just didn’t want you hurting your throat screaming. But don’t worry, it’ll all be over soon. Then you, the girls, even Twilight can be happy forever.” “Ya plan on killin’ Twi too?” Applejack asked, her voice quivering, although Spike couldn’t grasp why she’d be sad with the good thing he was doing for all of them. “Of course not, she’s an Alicorn. They don’t die, but I know she’s had nightmares about losing you girls. Honestly I used to be afraid of that day too, but not anymore. It’ll be better, you’ll see.” “Sugarcube, Spike, ya don’t have ta do this. I don’t know why ya think ya have ta do this but it ain’t right. Ponies die Spike, ponies drift apart, heck even sometimes they just lose their way. But ya got ta let it happen. It’s a part’a life,” Applejack said looking at him. Rivulets of tears running down her face. “Sorry AJ. I can’t do that. You girls don’t get it, I have nothing to remember you buy. No pictures, very few memories of me and you girls. When you die, that’d be it, heck, Tirek’s attack proved that even pictures can get destroyed. But not this, I’m going to ensure that you girl’s stay together forever.” ♥♥♥♥♥ AJ wanted to scream. She wanted to curse his soul to Tartarus for the unfairness of it all. But she just didn’t have it in her. He was right, she had a few vague memories of him other than the disaster’s he made a path for them to blunder into. Worst of all, looking at that sweet little dragon, and the same stubborn drive that her sister and her friends had when crusading. She knew that nothing was going to deviate him from his plans. She always thought if she was in trouble like this. Well not exactly like this, but something similar. She’d fight. That she’d scream and bite and holler till her throat bled. But having a pony that she thought of as a good acquaintance, seeing how crappy of a friend she was and the little brother to her best friend. She just had no will to fight, who knows I might meet my ma and pa after this. I wish I could get through to that little guy before he does something he’ll regret for the rest of his life. Spike walked over with a syringe full of something she couldn’t identify and plunged it into her body, “You know working for Twilight has taught me a lot about alchemy, medicinal herbs, and chemistry. This little cocktail will make what comes next painless, and who knows you might enjoy it once it kicks in.” Colt was he right, as the toxin cocktail entered her brain she started to feel as if she was floating outside of her body. She looked down as Spike took his sharp claws and skinned her body. She knew that this was wrong, but putting the words to her mouth from her addled brain was proving difficult. She saw him cut off the bindings as he he got her back and forearm peeled like an orange. With great difficulty she mummbled, “Make sure ya, yoooo, I wonder if I’ll be a ghost after I bleed ta death?” She slurred. “I bet you’d make a pretty ghost,” Spike said he severed her hoof, “Now I need to replace your blood with Liquid silicone to preserve what I don’t need of your body. That way future generations can know of the great Applejack.” “No! I meant ta say … please do Fluttershy next? I-I’mma feelin’ a wee bit woozy,” Applejack said the poison keeping her from going into shock at the sight of her dismembered leg squirting blood, “She deserv” She never finished her sentence. The blood loss had taken it’s toll and Spike had already injected a silicone drip to make her body a perfect ponyquin. Rarity was saying how it’d be perfect if Applejack and Rainbow Dash could stand still like those things, so she could make beautiful designs. Now Spike had her still forever. And she’d never leave, “I guess you’re right Applejack. Fluttershy’s to nice to make her wait till last. I’ll make sure that I get a hold of her soon. Night, night AJ. We have a busy day tomorrow.” Chapter 3Spike petted what was soon to be one of the sleeves of his suit. Sticking his hand in it and grabbing the bony nub that used to connect the arm to the hoof, he gave it an experimental wiggle. As he saw ‘his hoof’ wiggle around he gave a laugh of child like glee. Looking at Applejack he was glad that he listened on Twilight’s hour long lecture of magical polymers and the plastination process of preserving bodies. Years ago when she gave the lecture in preparation of her test from Celestia. Spike thought it was almost cool, but all in all something he would never need to know. But now that Applejack was a few hours away from being preserved forever, he was glad that a part of it stuck with him. Especially since he had four other ponies to preserve alongside her. After all Rarity always told him it wasn’t nice to keep a mare waiting. “Hey Applejack, after you get all plastified, I hope you don’t mind if we snuggle? It’s been awhile since I slept with anypony, and Twilight says that she’s too old to snuggle with me anymore. You don’t mind do you?” Spike asks. Grabbing her hardening jaw he wiggles it, and tries throwing his voice in an horrible facsimile of Applejack’s voice, “Nah! Spike, I’d love ta snuggle with best dragon.” “Oh thanks AJ! I knew you were cool. Soon all of our friends will be here and we can have a sleepover! Wouldn’t that be awesome or what?” “Sure as two … uh, apples in a skillet,” ‘AJ’ replied. Spike hugged Applejack, “That makes no sense, but as long as you’re happy. Then I’m happy.” ♥♥♥♥♥ The sun rose the next day and Spike woke up to a sea of orange. Scooting back he saw the socketless gaze of Applejack with her mouth hanging open. Spike went back for the snuggling hug, and sighed, “So two things I need to learn AJ. First how to make your coat feel more real, and secondly I should get gems for your eyes. “I’m sorry that plastination destroys eyeballs, and pops the coat off the body. But gems are better than eyeballs, you’ll love them. As for the coat. I’m going to look it up. I’m sure I’ll find away some how. First things first, breakfast, then Fluttershy. I can’t wait to get you two together. Both her and Rainbow Dash would’ve been fine marefriends for you. Well tootles!” Spike said before leaving Applejack in the bed. Her eyeballess head facing where Spike was resting moments ago. ♥♥♥♥♥ Spike was glad that being a dragon meant that he could not only send and receive letters but books as well from the Princesses. As long as it wasn’t living or plastic, and it was able to be burnt by fire. He was able to use the dragon fire spells that Celestia had taught him. It was many things that made him feel grateful that Twilight hatched him. But knowing how to keep his friends coats on right was going to be a blessing when Celestia sent him the books he requested. As he knocked on the door he heard a squeak, and what almost sounded like a different pony crash into something. A moment later that other pony made a lot more sense, “Hiya Spike!” Pinkie shouted, “Hey Flutters don’t be shy. It’s Spike.” Fluttershy waveringly hovered over Pinkie Pie’s body, one eye looking at him as the rest of her flying body was obscured by a curtain of her mane, “Oh! Hello Spike, is there anything I can do for you?” “Yeah I met Applejack before she did they thing at the place,” Spike said while rolling his clawed hand, pointedly avoiding their gaze until he was about to say what he really wanted them for “and she said that she had something important for you two. Also if you wanted to she’d be happy for you two to join her.” “Why not the rest of her friends? If you don’t mind me asking that is,” Fluttershy asked in a whisper that Spike barely caught. “Well you know how busy Twilight’s going to be with getting moved into the castle, and Rainbow Dash has training to do to keep in shape with the Wonderbolts. On top of the fact that she said that these next few weeks are going to be busy as Captain of the Weather Team. As for Rarity, she has a mountain of orders, she barely has time for me. “But she said that she could use you two for moral support. So what do you say? Come over to my place at Sweet Apple Acre’s to see what surprise she left you two and to get ready to meet up with her?” Spike asked. Pinkie Pie was vibrating in place, “Whatever surprise she left for us is going to be a doozy!” She said in a long, weirdly enunciated way that she usually did when doozies were a coming. ♥♥♥♥♥ Spike looked at the spread eagled, Pinkie Pie. Bound to the table facing Fluttershy, as a steady drip of magical narcotics entered her body placing her into a painless state. Fluttershy still hadn’t woken up from the chloroform she inhaled. Their trust in him really made his day, especially with what he had planned for them. He had Fluttershy propped up in a sitting position A rope positioned just above the wing joints in a figure eight to force them open. He remembered how happy Applejack was when she had her injection, and he knew that he should’ve started with that first. After all he didn’t want them to suffer before he gave them his gift to them, but he remembered Twilight’s repeated warnings of never mix drugs, herbs, or potions together without knowing their interactions or it could hurt somepony. So he waited for Fluttershy to wake up, and as he waited he decided to speak with Pinkie Pie, “So Pinks, what’s up?” “The sky~!” Pinkie sang, “it’s so high above us you know?” “Yeah I know,” Spike said with a smile. “Are we gonna die?” Pinkie asked, looking at him with bleary and unfocused eyes. “Not forever, I’m going to make you immortal, just like I did to Applejack.” “Applejack’s at a Row-Dee-Oh! You silly billy,” Pinkie Pie slurred. “Nope, that’s just what everypony thinks. Just like they think you two went off and joined her for moral support. See,” Spike said as he let loose a flame magically summoning the pony formally known as Applejack. Even though the drug fueled haze the way the skin hung sideways, the lack of eyeballs in the skull that looked at her, the lifelike look mixed with something horribly off. Filled Pinkie with pure terror, unfortunately she was to weak to scream, so instead she did the next best thing. She upchucked her breakfast across the floor, coating her coat, and most of the floor in vomit. And kept trying to vomit more as that unnatural caricature standing before her. The smell awoke Fluttershy upon seeing Applejack’s body and Pinkie Pie’s terror, fainted again. Spike sighed, “Oh well, might as well clean this up and wait for you to come to your senses before you join Applejack.” He said as he went upstairs for a mop and bucket. Author's Note Hey anyone want to give this soup of horrors a trope page? Also I can't wait to see the Rage Review. I'm going to aim for a 100%, if I'm lucky I might as well aim for 110% by the time I'm done with this. I'm not really looking for fame with this story, as much as infamy. It's all I can really ask for, for a horror story made with the purpose of being a horror story. Till Next Nihtmare Night. This fic is on Hiatus till next October since in essence it is a horror fic and I'd feel horrible subjecting Spike to the horrors and abominations I have planned in this fic on any month other than horror month. Expect the version next year to be a total rewrite and overhaul. Including new art. Basically 90% of this is being redone. Mostly thanks to GMD. So until Next Nightmare Night. Have fun and this fic'll be fueling your unease, rage, and nightmares next year. Author's Note Note: I love Spike, and he's one of my favorite characters, but if I find it good to be able to make a favorite character or actor horrifying. Just as much as it's good to cheer them on, or laugh with them. This story is in no way a hate fic on best dragon.
