Friends until the End

It's been 3 years since Sombra was destroyed by the Crystal Heart. Or so we thought. Sombra's horn managed to survive the explosion, even beyond the grave. When his horn landed in the Everfree Forest, Sombra's dark magic started affecting the wild life. Manticores, Cockatrice, even the birds and bunnies were affected and transformed into… a monster. We officially called the monsters "Crystal Beasts". By the time we found out it was too late. The dark magic now called Dark… eh… dark-uh… I forgot so I'm going to call it "Sombratosis" for the time being. Anyway, Sombratosis spread across Equestria and it was at that time we had to barricade ourselves to keep the dark magic disease from spreading to the rest of the world. Luna and I managed to create a force field strong enough to keep the dark magic disease inside but we were exhausted all of our energy and had to rest as the result. We were asleep for 10 years, at least that's what one of the guards said, Luna was already awake, standing on the balcony. "Luna, I see that your awake." Luna turned to me with a look of horror. I went to her to see what she saw and when I did, I shared the same reaction. What we saw was unbelievable, the air smelled of graves, the ground was tough and dry, the buildings were twisted and warped, and worst of all the ponies are disharmonious with each other. One of the guards came in and told us what happened. During our slumber, Sombratosis started to infect ponies in Equestria. Ponyville took it the hardest. Thankfully, not all of the ponies of Ponyville were infected but for the ones who were infected were mutated into Crystal Beasts and were caged like wild animals. In fact, they were acting like wild animals. We were shown a hallway containing ponies infected by Sombatosis. All had dark magic in their eyes and had purple crystals protruding from their hair coats in random locations. Luna and I were filled with terror, seeing the ponies like this, it was horrible. We were guided to the end of the hallway where there was a normal pony in a cage. We were told that it was called an "Elevator." Honestly I would call it "Magical Rising Box." But I digress. We got to the top and we found out that the hallway with infected ponies is underneath a big building shaped like a bowl. They told us it was a "Stadium." Ponies in white coats came in, told Luna and I that they are scientists, "Why are the ponies fighting each other like this?!" Luna bursted with sincerity. the Scientists told us that it was the only way for them to keep the dark magic that is in each infected pony at bay. If the dark magic were to build up in the ponies' bodies, they would explode and the dark magic will go and spread to other ponies. That's how Sombratosis spreads leaving the host dead. It was referred to as "Dark Overload" Even though Luna and I did not want to believe this, we had to. This was the reality of things that were happening. Luna and I went back to Canterlot and entered to the castle. Everything we saw, it was alot to take in. Our job now is to run the stadiums and make sure that now pony gets overloaded with dark magic. But I will find a cure for Sombratosis and I will not rest until I do.
