                         Prologue

Prologue
Long ago in the town of Ponyville, or the village hidden in the sun, peace was at an all time high. It was a time where children would play everyday and the ninja of the village could relax and enjoy their training and quality time. It was a fortunes time indeed. However, like all good things, it ended when Manehatten, the village hidden in the bay, staged a war on Baltimare, the village hidden in the green.
This escalated further and further. And before we knew it, Ponyville had been targeted by the Bay ninja of Manehatten. Manehatten had accused Ponyville of helping Baltimare by lending them supplies and weapons. The sun ninja worked hard to drive them out, and by the end of the attack, 8 of Ponyville's ninja had died. They had died protecting their village. And by 3 years pass, after a bloody war that never seemed to end, the war came to a close with Baltimare emerging the victor of the fight. A treaty was then agreed to that day and all was right, for the moment anyway. And one month passed by until the next tragic occurrence came to be, one that would shape the future of a little boy by the name of Jetetsu Takahashi.
His parents were always so kind and loving toward him. They always wanted him to be the very best he could be each and every day, and he did just that. Though the time came when a demon would attack Ponyville! The demon's name was Ranga, the ninth demon of chains. He was one of the Nine Demons of Equestria, and the strongest of the nine!
The demon would wage a full fledged war on Ponyville. Ponyville was not expecting the sudden appear of such a fiend. It had caught them off guard and as a result, it almost succeeded in destroying Ponyville! However, Jetetsu's parents gave their lives to perform a sealing jutsu on the demon Ranga, and with their combined strength they sealed Ranga in little Jetetsu's body for a long time to come.
Jetetsu was 3 when the demon was sealed within him. Ponies thought for sure he would go berserk. They treated him lowly, with disrespect as a living pony. He was often depressed because of this, he even wanted to take his own life at some points in time. The fact that he lost his mother and father only added to the sadness, the only thing that made him keep going was that he always told himself that he would become the best! All for his parents sake!
He also found that harboring this demon inside him gave him access to his own style of jutsu! When he was 7 in the academy for ninja, Jetetsu learned he could use the chain style! He thought it was awesome, and that maybe this demon isn't all a bad thing if it never gets out of hand. Though he knew it was dangerous thinking, he thought it anyways! That's just how he was, always a risk taker. Though during this time, Jetetsu was still being branded an outcast and was still treated like a monster. He was about to give in to the darkness, he was going to let the evil take over. Then one of Ponyville's greatest jounin made his mark on Jetetsu's life. One special earth pony saved Jetetsu from the dark. His name was Senjee, and he was the only one who treated him kindly.
Senjee spent time with Jetetsu over the years, in his ninja academy days, to teach him the importance of safety when using his Jinchuriki jutsu. He also taught him the ways of the fire style! He was always learning so fast as well. By the time he was 9 he was able to perform the fireball jutsu, and the phoenix flame jutsu!
He also took up using the Kusanagi, which was a type of sword. He had started learning to use it when he turned 10. It had a 40 inch blade and an 8 inch handle. The whole sheath was black, except for the handle which was red. He received it from Senjee, who was one of Ponyville's best jounin, and also an earth pony just like Jetetsu. He gave him the sword to celebrate Jetetsu's birthday.
He continued on and on, training and beginning to master the fire style jutsus as well as the chain style. He also practiced religiously with the sword every day and night. Nothing could beat his iron will and determination to make his village proud of him. His dream was to become the best ninja in all of Equestria! But for a goal so high to reach, even Jetetsu knew he had to start small. He knew that first, he would have to be handpicked by the princesses to join the Celestial Task Force, or the C.T.F.
The C.T.F. is comprised of the best ninjas Princess Celestia and Princess Luna can find. You have to be at least jounin level to join, and you have to be good enough to be recognized and chosen by the princesses themselves! No easy feat, Jetetsu knew. Still, he believes he can enter, and rise through the ranks! Eventually he wants to become so skilled that he'll be able to challenge the princesses in battle and defeat them, and to be known as the greatest that there ever was! He vowed this to everyone every day that went by. Most called him stupid for believing he could actually do it, especially one pegasus by the name of Rioku Fushima.
Rioku was a student at the academy along with Jetetsu. He was always better than Jetetsu; he was faster, smarter, and even stronger. This always pushed Jetetsu to be better than him no matter what, he had to if he wanted to become a master. Though no matter what new skill or jutsu Jetetsu had learned, Rioku always had something to top it. Naturally, this formed a rivalry between the two.
Soon thereafter, they had reached the age of thirteen. The boys were going to graduate from the academy! After training and waiting for what seemed like forever, they were finally going to graduate. They went to the ceremony to receive their headbands, which bore the symbol of the sun.
Now they were to be assigned to three man squads. Jetetsu was determined to become the best ninja in all of Equestria! And nothing would stand in his way!

               Chapter 1: A New Marefriend?

Chapter 1: A New Marefriend?
Jetetsu was sitting down at one of the tables. The classroom was at a moderate noise level as ponies were speaking back and forth in their inside voices. It was different from when they were younger, when all they would do was yell in class. They had matured to an extant, and so had Jetetsu. He was just reminiscing on the days when he learned new jutsu, talked to his friends, and bested the occasional student in a spar.
Jetetsu was seated next to a mare named Asuna, who was seated next to Rioku. Asuna was apparently in love with Rioku, though Rioku didn't acknowledge it at all. Jetetsu didn't care that a mare liked Rioku and not him. She wasn't even worth falling for in his opinion, though she was scary when she got mad.
The instructor walked into the classroom and told everyone to find their seats and stay quiet. He gave the traditional work hard speech and do your best pep talk. After that he finally went ahead and started assigning everypony to three man squads, and also stated the sensei they were to train and work under. He assigned ponies to them according to the skills and abilities they had brought to the table, as well as how well they would work with the others in their squad, ultimately keeping the team balanced. He had just assigned the third squad, and he announced that the fourth squad would be consisted of Jetetsu, Asuna, and Rioku. There sensei was Senjee, the earth pony.
Jetetsu was pretty excited that Rioku would be in his group. Now he will always have his rival to spar with! Asuna was also excited to be in the same group as Rioku, but Jetetsu was pretty sure it was for reasons different than his own. After the instructor called out the final squad, he explained to everyone that tomorrow they would be meeting their sensei at the determined locations. He then wished everyone a prosperous future and dismissed the class.
Jetetsu stayed behind for a while to think. He was pondering on the fact that he got Senjee as a sensei. He loved the fact that he would be taking orders from a friend of his, though Senjee was one of the best jounin Ponyville had. He thought to himself the possibilities of all the things he could learn from him!
"Sweet! This is going to be a great year for me." He said to himself.
Jetetsu finally left the classroom and stepped outside to go about his day. Perhaps he would visit the shrine to write down yet another jutsu.
It was nighttime when he decided to head home. When he was heading towards the edge of town, since he lived near the forest, he noticed a mare was laying down on a bench. He was worried, and immediately headed over to wake her and see what was the matter. She was a pegasus who had a slender physique. She was dressed in a shirt and skirt combo with an open jacket. Jetetsu noticed she had quite a big bust. He shook his head.
"No! Bad Jetetsu!" he thought.
He couldn't be thinking about that at a time like this! He shook her body.
"Hey! Wake up! What are doing sleeping out here? You could get kidnapped." He shook her some more. She wouldn't wake up however.
Jetetsu had no choice but to carry her to his house for the night. He wasn't just going to leave her there for bad things to happen to her. That just wasn't the kind of person he was. He picked her up damsel in distress style and carried her to his house. Her head was against his chest, and she would occasionally fidget and almost make him drop her, which he really didn't want to do right now. Before long, Jetetsu could see his house beyond the field in which he owned.
He trekked across the field and arrived at his front door. Though before he could open the door, he had lost his footing and stepped back only to trip and fall on his back. Even though he was glad he cushioned the mares' fall, he was unhappy on what cushioned his, which was the ground. The mare then proceeded to wake up. Jetetsu noticed and tried to get her off of him, but that only made her wake up faster. She looked into his blue eyes, and her face went from a calm and sleepy face to a pure red one. She immediately yelped and pushed off from him and sat up in front of him.
Jetetsu sat up and said, "Whoa! It's alright! I found you unconscious on a bench. I carried you here but, I kinda fell just now." He laughed at his own stupidity.
The girl was still red and looking down. She was obviously embarrassed by the situation she was thrown in just now, so it was Jetetsu's job to make her comfortable.
"So what's your name?" Jetetsu asked with a caring tone. Which seemed to work since she replied back.
"M-my name is Haruhi Minata." She almost sounded like she had no choice but to answer.
"So.... You were out of it on a bench. I passed by and thought I'd carry you to my house so nothing bad would happen to you. I hope your alright. Are you?"
"Oh! um.... Y-yes. I am fine, thank you." As Jetetsu stood so did she.
"Did you want to step inside for a moment? I have pie, if you'd like. We can talk about what happened, I am concerned you know." He went to open the door to go in.
"Oh! Your concerned?! W-well, I, um, no one's ever been concerned about me and..." She trailed off.
"Well I certainly am, you could've totally been snatched up out there! Well, that is by someone who wouldn't care like I did." He held out his hand to offer her in.
"Oh, well I guess I could stay for a while." She smiled and blushed a little. She then stepped inside his house which was a lone cottage in a field next to the Everfree Forest. It was spacious enough for the two of them. Jetetsu then went to the kitchen and pulled out some pumpkin pie. He sliced two pieces for the both of them. She thanked him.
"Thank you for being so nice to me out of nowhere." She ate a little piece of the pie.
"No problem friend! I mean I wasn't just going to leave you there! What kind of person would I be then?"
She then started to blush from the comment on her being his friend. And Jetetsu noticed her face was red as blood.
"Hey, Haruhi? You alright? Your face is really red. Here, let me feel it." He then reached over and placed his palm on her forehead. Upon doing this, Haruhi's hazel eyes enlarged. And she eventually fainted again.
"Oh my Celestia! Do you just faint wherever you please? I think it's a way for you to get a free carry to someone's house!" He then laughed. He picked her up once more and carried her upstairs to the his room. He didn't have another bedroom. He placed her on his bed and covered her up. He then turned out the lights and proceeded downstairs to sleep on the couch.
"What can I say? I'm a big softie when it comes to mares! So what!" He said to himself as he laughed. He then lie on the couch and turned the lights off.

               Chapter 2: Can't Touch This!

Chapter 2: Can't Touch This!
When Jetetsu awoke from his slumber, his neck cracked and stung. Symbolizing that it had such a great sleep. Okay, so maybe it wasn't the best sleep in all the world, but he couldn't have the mare sleep on the couch! He then caught notice of a beautiful aroma wafting through the air. It smelled of perfume. Jetetsu wasn't really the pony who cared for perfume but, it was amazing! Jetetsu sat up straight and rubbed his eyes. He then noticed that in front of him was a plate full of cookies!
"Awesome! I love chocolate chip!" He took several and shoved them down his mouth. He started to choke, but he was alright after a few seconds.
"You shouldn't scarf down like that you know. I mean, uh... y-you might choke." Jetetsu turned to see Haruhi sitting in the chair beside the couch he was in. She was the source of the amazing smell! She was just sitting, looking at him with content. That look of happiness made Jetetsu smile as well.
"So your still here, huh? I thought for sure you would leave me in the morning due to the fact I dropped you last night." He ate another cookie with devastating force, making Haruhi laugh.
"No. I couldn't just leave without repaying you. Oh! Unless you, uh, wanted me to leave." She frowned and drooped her head down low. Jetetsu thought it was pretty cute.
"Oh no! Please! Stay as long as you need! I insist!" He then was about to get up to get a glass of water. Before he could however, Haruhi gave him the glass in an instant! Jetetsu was surprised by this.
"Oh! Uh, thank you Haruhi. I appreciate it." He drank the water down to nothing in one gulp. He remembered that he never asked her about what happened last night to her. Better do that now.
"So why were you on the bench passed out last night? Is that just comfortable for you?"
She giggled but got serious again, "I don't really want to say right now." She was diverting herself from answering the question.
"Why not?" Jetetsu was confused on why she didn't want to tell him.
She stuttered and said, "oh! Look Jetetsu! Your going to be late for your meeting with your sensei!"
"What?!" Jetetsu looked at the clock, "Oh Celestia! Your right! I have to get going right now! Sorry Haruhi! We'll talk later alright?!"
Jetetsu shot towards his room and got dressed really fast. He gathered his gear together at an even faster speed than that. Then he said his goodbyes and bolted out the door and across the field towards the meeting place. Leaving Haruhi alone with the house.
He decided to walk towards the group when he arrived at the specified location. This was to make it seem like he was cool and calm. The meeting place was actually in front of the Sugarcube Corner sweet store. At first he only saw Rioku by his lonesome, but then he saw Asuna walk out from the store with two cupcakes. She, of course, had bought them for Rioku and herself. Rioku, however, denied the offer.
Jetetsu chuckled to himself after seeing this. He was now standing with the group after his 'cool and calm' walk came to an end. Asuna looked over to him.
"You know your pretty late, right?"
"On the contrary Asuna, I'm 10 seconds early." Jetetsu gave her a snicker. She replied with a face that said, oh your so funny, very sarcastically. And sure enough, ten seconds passed, and Senjee appeared before them in a mist. When he emerged from the mist, he started explaining the basics.
"Hello genin! My name is Senjee Shikamoro! But you may call me Sensei Senjee or just Sensei, is that clear!?"
Everyone replied with a yes sir. He then continued.
"As of today, you all are going to be put through a team challenge. This will determine whether or not you all are qualified to move on in the ninja world as genin!"
He then looked towards Jetetsu, "I understand you, Jetetsu Takahashi, own a very large field where your house resides, am I correct?"
"Yes sir, 10 acres wide and 10 acres long. I inherited it from my father." He then pointed out towards the west side of Ponyville. "Just right by the Everfree Forest." He then lowered his hand.
"Perfect! Then that is where our training will be performed from here on out, got it everypony!"
Everypony gave another yes sensei and followed him towards Jetetsu's land.
When they arrived, Senjee told them to line up so he could see what they brought to the table in terms of gear. When he was finished, he concluded that Jetetsu was really the only one who wielded a weapon besides a kunai.
"Alright then! I will now tell you the details of the test I am going to be putting you through. It will test the skills and abilities of the individual person, as well as challenge the whole group on whether or not they can act as a team! Now then, the test you will be put through is this!"
He pointed to himself and said, "If one of you can place both hands on me, you pass the test. However, if you cannot do it by the time the sun goes down completely, you all fail and you all get sent back to the academy!"
Asuna gasped at this, while Rioku only smiled. Jetetsu however, knew this was going to be difficult. For he had seen Senjee fight before, and it would prove more than a challenge to lay even one hand on him, let alone two! Senjee gave the word for them to begin. Rioku immediately went in close to hit him with some taijutsu. His efforts were for nothing as he couldn't even land a single hit! He kept on.
Jetetsu used this time to rush over to Asuna and try to devise a plan to get both hands on him.
"Asuna! Were not going to get anywhere with this if we keep trying to just charge him and hope for the best. I need Rioku over here for this! Use your clone jutsu to make copies of us three, alright?"
Surprisingly enough, Asuna followed what he said. She made three lookalikes for the team. Jetetsu then threw a smoke bomb where Rioku and Senjee were still fighting. Jetetsu then grabbed Rioku by the collar and took him back into hiding with him and Asuna. Jetetsu then told Asuna to send the clones near Senjee and make it look like they're huddling up. That will distract him for long enough.
She did just that, and by the time the smoke had cleared, the clones were all huddled up in Senjee's view.
"Making a plan, I see! Go right ahead! I wont bother you! After all, it's your time not mine!" He laughed.
"Great. It worked. Now he should be distracted long enough for me to explain my plan to you all." He looked towards Rioku.
"Rioku? I need you to charge him with everything you've got, alright?" Jetetsu pointed to a spot on the ground a few meters behind where Senjee was standing.
He continued, "I need you to drive him back as much as you can until he is standing above that spot. Is this clear to you?"
Rioku really didn't feel like taking orders from Jetetsu, but he knew it was necessary for him to become an official genin.
"Fine", he said with a reluctant tone in his voice. Jetetsu ignored the tone and nodded. He then turned to Asuna.
"When Rioku starts to charge him, I want you to sneak around by the marked spot without being seen and use a transformation jutsu to turn into a rock. When he gets him on that spot, I am going to use Ranga's jutsu to grab and hold him down. When I do that, I want you to change back and rush in to finish it off by placing both your hands on him, understand?"
Asuna nodded and replied, "Alright, Jetetsu!"
"Then does everyone know what they're doing?"
Both of them nodded.
"Alright. Then let's get started!"
Just then the clones dispersed. Senjee wasn't surprised, he thought they were huddled up for a suspiciously long time anyway. Then, out of the blue, Rioku appears and starts to fight him head on to get him to fall back as he was told. Jetetsu was waiting for the right moment to leap in and start the jutsu, but Senjee had to be on the spot exactly! He looked over and saw the rock Asuna had transformed into.
"Good, at least that part's done with. Now Rioku just has to push him back far enough!" He thought to himself.
Rioku then formed a hand sign and shouted, "earth style! Rockwall cannon!" Then from the ground boulders shot up and were headed directly for Senjee! Senjee however was not going to be bested by Rioku that easily.
He also formed a hand sign and shouted the words, "water style! Water wall!" Then out of nowhere, a huge wall of water appeared and formed a spherical wall around him! Jetetsu was amazed.
"He can make water where there is none? That takes major skill." He noticed that he was only about a meter and a half away from the spot! "Almost!" he thought! "Just a little more Rioku!"
Rioku continued to fight and fight, until the moment finally came! He only needed to make one more step back! Jetetsu prayed to Celestia that this would work! Because he was seriously out of options for a back-up plan for this one! Rioku continued with his assault. Rioku then performed one more jutsu to push him back that extra step.
"Fire style! Lava rupture!" Then from in front of Rioku, on the ground, the earth started to crack and slither it's way to beneath Senjee. When it was there it stopped, and from it came a spew of lava! Rioku made it to where only so much came out since he only needed him to step back once. And as he planned, Senjee took a step backwards to avoid the fiery liquid!
Rioku yelled out, "Now Jetetsu!"
"I'm already on it Rioku!"
Senjee looked behind him to see Jetetsu forming a complex hand sign! Then he noticed that he was standing above a marking! The marking began to glow a bloody red, and when Jetetsu completed his hand sign, he gave a yell!
"You've been played Senjee! This is it!
"What! You all planned this together!?" Senjee was surprised at the immediate teamwork they had shown. For it usually took the teams he had until sunset to finally act together as one! This team did it, and it wasn't even passed morning yet!
Jetetsu continued, "ninja art! Chains of binding!" Then out from the ground, around Jetetsu, appeared red chains that had a collar lock on the end of them. Jetetsu motioned both of his arms towards Senjee and made a fist! The chains traveled to Senjee and were successful in reaching him! They locked on and held onto Senjee's arms, haunches, hoofs, wrists, and even his neck! Jetetsu then pulled his arms downward, this made the chains pull him downward. He was now on the ground, helpless!
Jetetsu shouted, "Asuna! Finish it up already!"
"Got it!"
Asuna then appeared back as a human and started a sprint towards Senjee! She was about to make a dive in order to touch him with both her hands. Just as she did, however, a smoke screen of purple smoke emerged!
Jetetsu remained calm, "Asuna! No matter what you do, keep your hands where they are alright!?"
There was no answer.
"Asuna!? Are you there?! Are you conscious!?"
Still no answer had echoed from within the smoke. Jetetsu was beginning to worry that Senjee had gotten her somehow. He knew he was trying to make him think like he had escaped, thus allowing Jetetsu to call his jutsu off. Jetetsu was not going to fall for that though! He knew for a fact he still had him chained down!
The smoke was beginning to clear up, and Jetetsu saw a sight so surprising he couldn't believe his own eyes! It wasn't that Senjee escaped, because as he thought, he didn't. It was something he was still trying to compute in his head on how it happened and on how Senjee was able to do it chained up!
Beside Senjee, Asuna lay knocked out cold, and she had only a single hand on the earth pony!

                Chapter 3: One Special Kid

Chapter 3: One Special Kid
Jetetsu was staring in disbelief at the scene that was placed before his eyes. He couldn't believe that Sensei Senjee was able to knock out Asuna while he was chained down! The only way he thought he could've done it was if he grabbed a knock out gas bomb, and set it off by dropping it. All while holding his breath. But Jetetsu never saw him grab it from his bag! He must've done it without him noticing, impressive!
"Rioku! Hurry up and touch him with your hands now!"
Rioku wasn't able to do so. He had wasted too much chakra on Senjee that he fainted from over exhaustion after he signaled Jetetsu to begin his jutsu! Jetetsu was at a very difficult situation right now, he had Senjee in the palm of his hands! He only needed one of his comrades to place both his hands on him!
"What do I do?! Genjutsu? No, that'll never work! You don't know any genjutsu! Well I could do it myself, but then I'd have to let the jutsu subside! Dammit! What the hell am I supposed to do!?" He thought.
Senjee exclaimed, "So what are you gonna do Jetetsu?! Your in such a critical situation right now, I don't think you'll be able to pull this one off!" Senjee then laughed.
Jetetsu hated to admit it, but he was right. He couldn't do anything at the moment without letting go of his jutsu!
"Damn this earth pony to oblivion!" He thought.
Suddenly, he was attacked by another pony from behind! Jetetsu easily avoided the attack but let go of the jutsu out of instinct! He looked to see that the culprit was.... Senjee!?
"What in the name of Celestia!?" Jetetsu saw another copy of Senjee standing at a distance. He knew what Senjee had done.
"That's a shadow clone, isn't it Senjee?"
Senjee stood up straight and smiled saying, "You guessed it Jetetsu, points for you." He then dispersed his clone.
"So you had a clone watching over me this whole time huh?"
"I wanted to see what you were going to do, it WAS a pretty bad spot you were put in." Senjee then took a stance.
Jetetsu also took a battle posture; he took his right hand and made a grip on the Kusanagi blade's handle on his back. He took hold of the defined 8 inch, blood red handle, and pulled out a 40 inch sword blade that looked as if it could slice right through a mountain of steel! He let his arm relax and let the blade fall and point to the ground as he held it next to him. Jetetsu's brow was dripping with a hint of sweat that glistened in the sunlight. It was past noon, Jetetsu still had all day to pass this Celestia forsaken test!
Senjee had a serious look on his face, "So he actually decides to use it, finally. It's about time, now I can see how far he's gotten with it." Senjee thought.
Senjee spoke up, "Your still lugging around that 48 inch stick huh?"
Jetetsu retorted wittily, "and who was it that gave me this 'stick', huh Senjee?"
"Touché Jetetsu"
"I hope your ready to taste defeat Sensei! Because my blade tolerates nothing below victory!"
"Careful what you say Jetetsu, you might just have to swallow those very words."
"That wont happen! And if it does, then I guess I'll have to chew slowly!"
Jetetsu charged towards Senjee with the blade trailing behind him! He swung his sword, aiming for Senjee's head, only to come into contact with his kunai! Senjee was holding back his sword with his kunai. Jetetsu was using all his might to push back Senjee. Senjee then finally fell backwards and back-flipped out of the way. Just in time to avoid Jetetsu's second swing! Senjee now had a ripped jacket.
"Look at that, you've gone and tore through my jacket. I liked that jacket." He took off the remaining pieces of the jacket and threw them aside.
"Seems like my blade didn't." Jetetsu reached into his supply bag and pulled out a smoke bomb, which he then threw to the ground.
A huge smokescreen appeared! It was hardly possible to see three feet in front of you! However, even with all the smoke, the two ninja just kept clashing back and forth! Sounds of metal clanking against each other every three seconds. The smokescreen then started to disappear after what seemed like an eternity for it to do so. When the cover dispersed, the two ninja were revealed to each other.
Breathing heavily was Jetetsu Takahashi, who was getting worn out by the fight. Senjee on the other hand, was as calm as the sea breeze itself! He was perfectly fine, even after all that Jetetsu gave him!
Jetetsu flustered, "What!? How is he still able to keep posture? He's not even breathing hard! How am I going to defeat him if I cant even manage to make him the least bit tired!? Shit!"
Jetetsu's head was painted with streaks of blood running down his forehead. He must've head butted him at least twice in the smoke! Yet Jetetsu was the only one feeling the effects, and he's the one that gave the head butt!
Jetetsu then smiled, "Well Senjee. It seems I am no match for you. I am not surprised in the least, you ARE among the finest ninja the village hidden in the sun has to offer. It wouldn't make sense if I, a mere child, defeated someone like you out of nowhere, would it now?"
Senjee replied, "No it wouldn't. So you give up then?"
"Oh Senjee, if you knew me at all, you would know that one thing's for sure." Jetetsu then wiped his head clean of the blood.
Jetetsu then looked up with a new look on his face! Determination in his eyes!
He then shouted, "It's that I never give up! I'll go down fighting if I have too!"
Jetetsu then threw his sword into the air and formed a hand sign as it spun in the air.
"Fire style! Hellsword Downpour!" Jetetsu shouted.
The sword that was spinning in the air then stopped with the blade pointed downwards and started to multiply! The blade of all the swords then combusted into a blue flame! Soon there were at least 100 swords in the sky covered with blue fire! And they're all pointed at one pony, Senjee.
However, Senjee recognized the jutsu and immediately turned serious.
"Jetetsu! That jutsu is part of the sacred scroll of Ponyville! How in Celestia's forsaken name were you able to get into the shrine to read it!!"
"Oh I've going in there for a while now Senjee! I always manage to read it at night, when I have more cover to my advantage." He chuckled. "I write the jutsus down in a notebook and practice them in secret when I get home. And this is only one of the jutsus I was able to learn from my notebook! I mean, they're all so hard to do!" He then laughed.
"How could you just sneak into the shrine and write down Ponyville's most powerful and most sacred jutsu?! If an enemy got their hands on your notebook, you'd be held accountable for it!"
"With a pencil and paper. And besides Senjee, after I learn the jutsus I shred the papers, no need to worry! In order to be the best, I have to know a lot of powerful jutsu! Now witness my holy downpour!"
The fireswords then started to chase after Senjee. At first it was little by little due to Jetetsu's motioning. Then he motioned for all the swords to begin a complete assault charge onto Senjee! Senjee had only taken out about 15 swords the first time! Now he has to deal with a strong 85 more! He used all his speed to dodge the incoming missile barrage of swords! Every sword he evaded, he had another waiting for him as he dodged! The amount of effort and speed Senjee was using to evade the multiple attacks showed just how much skill he had in his arsenal. Senjee, however, was finally sliced by one of the swords! He fell back into hiding after dropping a smoke bomb. Jetetsu cancelled the jutsu.
Jetetsu knew where he was, it was pretty obvious since he could see the blood stains. Jetetsu then picked up his sword from the ground and ran to the bush he was hiding in. He sliced right through it! Only he didn't find Senjee there!
"What the-!!"
The ground collapsed under Jetetsu's hooves! He was caught off guard! He managed to make it out of the debris that fell on top of him. However, when he stood, mud started to grab at his hooves and turn into concrete! Jetetsu was immobilized from the hooves, he couldn't move! Senjee then appeared from above the crater and lectured Jetetsu.
"What a shame! I know your not the brightest crayon in the box, but you always fall for easy stuff like this when you THINK your winning. You should know better Jetetsu!"
Jetetsu tried to use a hand sign, but the mud then grabbed and trapped his hands in concrete! Jetetsu tried to break free, but it was for nothing! He was angry at his situation, even though Senjee was right. Even though he did fall for this stupid trap on his own impulse!
Senjee then looked at the sun.
"Well, well, it seems as if your team has only a few more hours left to go. It's getting dark out Jetetsu. You had better have a plan to touch me if you ever want to be a ninja."
Jetetsu couldn't move! The concrete wasn't going to give up at all! He couldn't perform a hand sign, his sword was lying on the ground next to him, and his friends were still out of it! What is he going to do?
Jetetsu then looked up at Senjee and smiled.
"Senjee?"
"Yes, Jetetsu." Senjee looked back at him.
"Your one special earth pony, you know that?"
"I do indeed." Senjee said.
Senjee then felt a surge of chakra! He jumped off to the side, just in time to avoid a stream of fire that rushed in behind him!
Senjee turned, "So your finally awake now, sleep well?"
A figure was standing in the shadow of a tree.
"Stop letting Jetetsu have all the fun, Senjee. It's embarrassing how much fight he gives you, yet your guard never lets up." He emerged from the shadows.
It was Rioku! The boy with the attitude had come to take over for Jetetsu!
"If it's all the same to you, I'm going to end this now!"
Rioku made a hand sign, "Fire style! Fireball jutsu!"

Chapter 4: A Failure Stands Tall
"Fire style! Fireball jutsu!"
The fireball he had created was huge! Even for a boy like him! Senjee wasn't going to have enough room to evade the jutsu, so he had to counter it with his own jutsu!
"Water style! Water wall!"
Water from the river that was nearby began to swirl around Senjee! The fireball came into contact! A mist expelled from the water due to evaporation, and everything was covered with a thick mist. When it cleared, Senjee was standing, unharmed by the jutsu! His water wall blocked the move completely! Rioku stared down Senjee and, after a few moments, smiled.
Senjee saw this and asked, "What's so funny?"
"Nothing, it's just that I cant believe how persistent he is." He threw a kunai at Senjee!
Senjee easily blocked the kunai but, from behind him came Jetetsu leaping from the air! He had his blade drawn and at the ready! He slashed at Senjee from above! Senjee avoided the cut, and made distance between all three of them.
"So you managed to escape my hold, did you?"
Jetetsu replied, "Yeah, Rioku over there helped me out by sending that fire stream to pass you and melt the concrete! Now let's get busy!"
Jetetsu used every sword skill and technique at his disposal! However, no matter what he still couldn't land a single blow on Senjee! Every swing was either countered or evaded! Jetetsu went for his haunches, but Senjee jumped over the sword! Jetetsu missed but brought the blade back around for his head with a spin! Senjee ducked below to avoid the blow. Jetetsu jumped back to make room.
"All yours Rioku!"
"Whatever!"
Rioku charged in with his kunai at the ready. He took a slice at Senjee's neck, but Senjee blocked the kunai with his own! He then spun around to trip Rioku! Rioku jumped up and spread his wings to fly. He ascended to a safe distance before calling out to Senjee.
"Too bad your just a regular earth pony! Flight gives me the upper hand here Sensei!"
"In most ways it would, however in this way it does not." Senjee replied.
Rioku was then hit with a shuriken in the base of his left wing! He shook off the shuriken but still wasn't able to use his left wing! The unbalanced pegasus then preceded to fall to the earth. He managed to land on his hooves, but the fall still caused him to wince in pain.
"What? Why couldn't I use my left wing?"
He took a longer look at the point where the shuriken hit him on his wing. He then saw why he couldn't use it!
"Of course! He used poison!"
A purple liquid was oozing out of his wound, which wasn't very big. He saw that the liquid filled the wound to the rim with Senjee's special partial paralysis poison. The poison trickled down his back and around to the front of his leg. Luckily for him that Senjee used his partial paralysis poison and not his full. Otherwise, Rioku would've been out of the fight for good.
"You got cocky there and let your guard down. You need to work on your bragging, seriously." Senjee lectured.
Rioku was good on his hooves, he charged. He threw 5 shuriken that all but failed to hit Senjee. He then pulled out two kunai and double wielded them for faster movement and more hit chances. He worked up several sweats trying to slice the earth pony. All was for naught however, Senjee just wouldn't back down.
Jetetsu was hiding in a tree, watching the fight go on while he was safely concealed behind the leaves. He was working out a way he could get Senjee to keep still, again. He was growing real tired of this fight, he was sure that Rioku was as well. He didn't have to think about Asuna being tired, because she was out of it! Jetetsu could still see her body on the ground where Senjee had been, laying there lifeless with no sign of motion to come. Jetetsu was fine on his supply of chakra, but he was pretty sure that Rioku's chakra, even with the rest he had gotten, was going to be depleted soon for sure, again. Jetetsu was seriously thinking about getting a drink at his house, it WAS right there. Just a mile from where he was, he thought he could make it if he just went fast enough.
"Fuck it." Senjee jumped from the tree and ran off to his house.
He was sure that he wasn't seen. He arrived at his house's front door within at least 5 minutes. He had hoped Rioku was still putting on a good show for Senjee, at least good enough to keep him roused up until he got back. He opened the door and walked in. He went straight to the kitchen refrigerator and pulled out from within a pitcher of apple juice. He got a cup, filled it to the rim, and drank it down. He repeated this another 3 times before he decided it was time to go.
He put the pitcher back and headed for the front door. When he reached the door he heard somepony call out to him from behind.
"J-Jetetsu? Is that you? I thought you were still training!"
"Oh! Haruhi, is that you? I almost forgot about you! I am, I just came back for a drink, no problem. What are you doing?"
He was about to turn around. However, Haruhi tried to stop him from doing so.
"No! Please! Don't look Jetetsu! P-please don't!"
Too late, Jetetsu turned. He looked to see that Haruhi was....naked?!! Haruhi turned a bright red all over her face. She was going numb from the humiliation she was catching, and her haunches started to wobble. Jetetsu spoke up before she could however.
"Uh, Haruhi? Why are you naked in MY house?"
Jetetsu was still looking of course, it was hard for him not to! Her breasts were just too perfect to look away from. Of course this increased the amount of shame that Haruhi felt.
She replied, "I am so sorry Jetetsu! I was doing laundry and had nothing to wear and since you were out training I thought I could...y-you know." She finally decided to take cover behind a wall, breaking Jetetsu's gaze and saving him from an eternal stare.
"Oh! Of course it was laundry! HAHA! Well okay then! I better get back to my training! See you later Haruhi!"
He bolted out the door and ran as fast as he could back to the training ground. He had already wasted too much time! He hoped Rioku was hanging in there!
Rioku was not hanging in there. In fact it was kind of, no, COMPLETELY the opposite! Rioku had managed to put a few burns and rubble on Senjee at least, credit for that. However, he was on the verge of fainting again! He was actually going to use another jutsu. So Jetetsu decided to stay back and see what he was going to do.
Rioku formed a sign, "Earth style! Rockwall cannon!"
Boulders began breaking off from the ground and shot themselves toward Senjee! Senjee was able to dodge all of them easily, he even broke the last boulder with a punch! Jetetsu could see that Rioku needed help, badly! He jumped right in to join the fight! Rioku almost forgot he was even apart of the team.
"Where the hell have you been huh?! I've been calling you for help!"
He cringed at these words. He doesn't like admitting he needs any help. Jetetsu made up a little fib.
"I-uh-was actually ignoring you on purpose! You see, I was forming a strategy while I was in hiding and couldn't risk my cover being blown." He smiled, obviously trying to pretend he had nothing to hide.
"Well what is it?!"
"Wait, what?" Jetetsu didn't actually have any plan!
"I asked what it was you loser! Surely you have a plan if you jumped in to help me right?!"
Senjee charged the both of them at once. This made it difficult for Jetetsu to talk to Rioku without getting hit by Senjee's punches in this close combat situation.
"What! Of course I"-Senjee swung his fist at him-"Whoa!"-He dodged just barely!-"Yes I have a plan!"
Jetetsu jumped back to make room. Luckily for him, he had ONE more option that came to mind. However, if it didn't work, it would leave him too exhausted to fight any longer! It was a chance he had to take, for his sake of becoming the best! He clapped his hands together and began his jutsu!
"Chain style! Ranga's wa-"
"Hold it Jetetsu! Stop!"
Jetetsu halted his jutsu and pulled his hands apart. Senjee interrupted him and was about to say something.
"The sun has gone down, and all of you fail!"
Jetetsu's eyes widened, he let out a small gasp and said, "W-what? But how?"
Rioku was furious. He paced back and forth huffing and puffing his way around the field, cursing life under his breath. Jetetsu couldn't believe that after all he had learned, all he had done, it was for nothing!
Senjee continued, "But..." He started.
Jetetsu looked up at him and said, "But what!"
"You all are qualified to be genin in my book. From here on out you are all official genin!"
Jetetsu was joyous that he was finally a genin! He jumped up into the air and gave the sky a fist bump for glory! From here on out, he was a true ninja!
"Hold up", Rioku started, "I thought we failed the test. How come your still making us genin?"
"Rioku, it was never about passing the skills test. It was all for the teamwork grade. You all worked so hard together that I really didn't have a choice but to make you all genin!"
He then looked at Jetetsu with evil eyes, "However Jetetsu, if you ever leave training to get a glass of juice ever again, it's back to the academy for you! Understood!"
"Uh! Y-yes sensei!"
It seems that Senjee knew all along! Well, he should have known better than to undermine Senjee's intelligence like that. Rioku started nagging Jetetsu about what in the hell Senjee was talking about. Jetetsu just shooed him off and said he would explain later.
Asuna then finally woke up. "Huh? What happened? Did we win?"
Jetetsu used the moment to get a scare out of her!
"Asuna no! It was horrible! We failed Asuna, we all failed and now we have to start the academy all over again! No!!"
Asuna then shot up straight and started to form tears in her eyes.
"What! N-no! We couldn't have failed! Why did we have to fail!?"
"He's only screwing with you, Asuna. Stop worrying, we passed no problem." Rioku interrupted.
"Oh thank Celestia!"
She then looked at Jetetsu with pure demonic eyes and said, "Jetetsu! I'm going to kill you!"
"Oh crap!"
Jetetsu ran and Asuna went after him! He ran all around Ponyville trying to hide and run away from the scary woman, thus closing the day for training for the new genin of the ninja world!
Now what in the hell was he going to say to Haruhi when he got home!?

Jetetsu got home looking like a beaten sack of potatoes. Asuna wrung him like a towel! He walked inside hoping to just plop down on the sofa and go to sleep. He walked inside with his eyes closed, treaded drearily over to the couch and fell. He landed on the couch, yippy! However, however the couch felt, well, different than what he was used to. He moved his hand up in front of him to feel. He felt something soft and firm, and also very warm and tender. He felt around it and figured out it had a spherical shape. So his instincts told him to squeeze.
"Mmmm...."
Jetetsu opened his eyes to see that Haruhi, that mare he picked up, was at the mercy of his hand on her breast!
"Oh. My. Celestia." Jetetsu said with awe.
He was surprised to see that she was still asleep after all that, and on top of that, she moaned for him!
"Wow that's hot", he thought.
He shook his head to cleanse himself of such perverse matters.
"Holy shit! Jetetsu thought. "If I don't get off now she'll wake up and probably kill me!" He had to get off of her quick!
Jetetsu positioned his hands beside her to push himself up. Instead he managed to slip! So he and Haruhi tumbled over the couch and onto the ground! She landed on him, but he landed on the floor.
"Ah! Why does this always happen to me! Son of a bi-"
She started speaking, obviously still half asleep, "huh? What is it?"
"Bi-bi-bitter buttered banshees! That's what I said!"
Good save there, he really didn't want to sound angry in front of a guest. Haruhi then finally sat up and wiped away the drowsiness in her crystal blue eyes. She looked down and saw that she was sitting right on top of Jetetsu! She started to panic.
"Oh goodness!! I am so sorry Jetetsu! It wont happen again! I'm such a nuisance to this household I know! There's no need to be nice anymore Jetetsu! I will leave at once!"
She proceeded to stand up and leave. Before she could however, Jetetsu grabbed her arm and brought her back down.
"Wait! Please!"
"Huh?"
She looked back at him with eyes as blue as the clear, freshwater ocean itself. Jetetsu never thought about it, but she looked absolutely beautiful with those eyes, and all her features for that matter! Her black hair, complemented by her ocean blue eyes, weirdly enough. Her physique, always brought out by everything she wore. Her personality, which was always shown by the way she acted.
"Hold up!! Am I, well, am I... Do I actually like this mare?! That can't be so! We're only five chapters in! Still, I can't help this feeling I'm getting just by looking at her! What do I do! Do I tell her? Should I let it slide?! Should I wait to tell her? Damn, this is one thing they don't teach you in the academy! Guess I have to wing it!" Jetetsu thought.
Haruhi started blushing at the fact that Jetetsu was holding her arm, she went completely red.
"W-what is it Jetetsu? What do you want?" she said with the cutest and softest voice ever as she pulled her bangs back with her free hand.
"I um, I wanted to, um..." She looked back him.
Jetetsu couldn't find any words. How could he when she looked at him like that. Those eyes had him under a spell, one he could not break. About five minutes passed when he finally managed to gather up the words he needed. He spoke.
"Don't worry about it, you can stay, alright?"
"Well, if you insist..." She got up and sat on the couch.
"I do. Your my friend, and I cant just very well have you leave like that with no place to go." He sat next to her.
"I just... Your so kind to me Jetetsu, and I've never met you before. Why help a s-stranger like me?"
"Because that's not the stallion I am!"
Haruhi looked at him. He said that last part with such compassion! Jetetsu looked back at her and gave her a thumbs up. He then continued.
"You can stay here for as long as you like! I mean it!"
"Oh! O-okay then, Jetetsu." She smiled.
Just then, Jetetsu's door burst open. In came running Yuri Nakashino, a member of the Nakashino clan who specializes in genjutsu mastery. Naturally, this makes him far smarter than Jetetsu, and it really annoys Jetetsu when Yuri mentions it in an argument. But, he was still a friend, weirdly enough.
"Jetetsu! The Hokage wants to see us right away! Hurry up or you'll make him mad!"
Jetetsu nodded his head, "Alright Yuri, I'll be there in no time!"
Yuri then looked over to Haruhi and gave Jetetsu a grin.
"So Jetetsu, who's the pretty lady you have here with you, huh?"
Jetetsu didn't notice the teasing tone he had in his voice.
"Oh yeah! This is Haruhi Minata. Haurhi, this is Yuri Nakashino of the Nakashino clan. He specializes in genjutsu." Yuri then moved over and sat by Haruhi.
"Yeah, but we're also the go-to family if you want a problem solved!"
Haruhi tilted her head, "What? What do you mean by that?"
Jetetsu butted in, "It means his family are made up of super geniuses! His family are usually the ones leading missions or coming up with plans for the village; he always brags about it." Jetetsu sounded pretty annoyed.
"Anyway, we should get going now, Jetetsu. You know the Hokage will give us a huge lecture if we don't arrive on time!"
"Alright then, let's go! Haruhi, I'll talk to you later alright? Goodbye!"
Yuri and Jetetsu bolted out of the door and headed towards the town square.
"Oh... Bye." Haruhi had the house... Again.
Yuri knocked on the door of the Hokage's room.
"Come in" a voice replied.
Yuri and Jetetsu entered the room to find Big Macintosh sitting behind his desk, a serious look on his face. Jetetsu saw that Senjee was at her side, same look on his face.
Hokage spoke, "team 4, consisting of Rioku Fushima, Asuna Aoi, and Jetetsu Takahashi. I hear you have all passed Senjee's test; I congratulate you all on becoming official genin." Jetetsu laughed.
"Yeah! I totally DID pass! That means I'm closer to being the greatest ninja in all Equestria!"
"Oh please, Jetetsu" Rioku scoffed, "you still believe in that stupid dream of yours? Everypony knows it wont happen, and that you'll never be able to beat the princesses in battle." Jetetsu gave Rioku a glare, Rioku did the same.
"Quit your bickering children, we're all mature now aren't we?"
The Hokage then picked up a sheet lying on his desk and began once more.
"Since you all have only just become genin, I would want nothing more than for all of you to put in more training together on your own time. I would usually set you aside for a week to train at most. However, missions have been piling up and we need to take care of them immediately. Are you ready to hear the mission details?"
Jetetsu replied, "Oh yeah! You bet I am! I wanna get started as soon as we can Hokage!"
"You really shouldn't go making deals like that without OUR consent, Jetetsu!"
Asuna hit him in the shoulder, making Jetetsu fall to the ground; he was trying to ease the pain by decreasing gravity, genius.
"Get up Jetetsu, she only tapped you." The Hokage gave Jetetsu a look of concern, "are you positive he passed, Senjee?"
"Yeah, he did alright. He doesn't look like much right now, but in battle he can hold his own for some time." Senjee laughed.
Jetetsu stood and gave the Hokage a stare, "You don't think I'm strong?! I'll show you! Come on Macintosh, you and me right here right now!"
The Hokage smiled and said, "No thank you, maybe another time." Jetetsu sighed.
"Damn. Your lucky I'm in a good mood Macintosh." Jetetsu stepped back with the rest.
Big Mac continued, "yeah sure. Now then, since we're all finally calmed down, I will explain the mission details to you." Big Mac turned to look out the window.
"It is a D-rank mission. You all are going to be completing chores for the village, got it?"
Asuna and Rioku had no problems, but Jetetsu didn't want to be spending the ENTIRE day doing freaking chores!
"Why the whole day though? I wouldn't mind if it was partially the day but, I don't to waste my time doing chores. I wouldn't have even become a ninja if I knew that the road to glory was filled with nothing but chores." Jetetsu sighed.
"You need to learn how to effectively work well with others, or you'll die in the field, but..."
Big Mac stood and made a fist with his right hand and held it towards Jetetsu, "I could always knock the sense into you if you don't want to do it the easy way. What say you, Jetetsu?"
Jetetsu, being scared out of his wits, straightened up immediately.
He gulped, "Uh, of course not Macintosh, I was only joking! Nothing like a good old D-rank mission to get those bonds going!"
Jetetsu laughed forcedly. Big Mac just ignored it and sat back down.
"Then head out, all of you. Senjee will tell you what to do. Listen to him, got it?"
"Yes sir!" Everypony replied.
Senjee and the others left, and prepared to tackle the busy day head on.

"Are you serious?! Your joking right? What the hell did you do, Jetetsu?!"
"It wasn't my fault, Asuna! That cat was practically asking for it!"
"You tried to burn it with fire style! What, did you expect to fry the thing for dinner?!
"For dinner!? What, did you want it for dinner? Cause I'm sure it tastes great with some seasoning and sauce." Jetetsu laughed.
"Oh shut up, Jetetsu! Your a real pain sometimes, you know?"
Jetetsu was on the ground at the mercy of Asuna's rage. It was the last of the D-rank missions they had to complete for the day. The job was to catch a runaway cat. And although Jetetsu managed to catch the cat, he dropped it when the cat scratched at his face. Jetetsu got angry and chased the cat. He used his chain jutsu to seize the cat, but apparently, according to Jetetsu, the cat 'made a face' at him. He, of course, got mad and released the jutsu to use his fireball jutsu on the cat. What made Asuna even angrier was the fact that he did it right as she was going to grab the cat!
"Because of you, my beautiful hair could've been injured!" Asuna was furious, like, no words bro.
"You treat it as if it's alive and could speak to you. Talk about crazy mares." Jetetsu chuckled.
Asuna punched him in the face and sent him flying across the forest they were in. His flight was stopped by a huge tree, he hit the tree with his back.
"Ahh.. Celestia help me. What the hell, Asuna?"
"Don't ever call me crazy, Jetetsu! There, there, it's okay. He didn't mean it, your not burnt so it's gonna be alright now, okay?"
"By the gods..." Jetetsu was right, she was crazy. She was literally talking to her hair.
"Wait, what's this?"
Jetetsu felt something underneath him. He stood up and turned to see that the cat was lying on the spot he landed on. He was motionless, but alive. Almost like he was traumatized by something.
"Ha! Take that stupid cat! I meant for Asuna to punch me over here so I could land on you! Yep, all part of my plan." Jetetsu grinned.
"Then I guess you already have a plan on how your going to tell the mare looking for this cat what happened to it, right?"
Jetetsu looked over his shoulder to see Rioku and Senjee. Senjee was right, how was he going to explain this to Primrose?
Jetetsu took the cat and headed for Primrose, leaving the others behind.
Rioku yelled, "Wait, idiot! You cant explain it, your too simple-minded!"
"Now hold on, Rioku." Senjee placed a hand on his students shoulder. "I'm curious to see just how this will end. I say we watch him for now and see what he does. What do you all say?"
Asuna agreed, "Sure, why not? He deserves whatever he's got coming for him anyway. Right, Rioku?"
"Sure, fine, whatever, I'll watch with you Senjee. But this had better be worth my time." He started for the town.
Jetetsu reached his destination. He was at the doorstep of Primrose's house. He knocked on the door and waited. The door opened after a few moments and from within appeared Primrose.
"Hello? Who is it?"
"It's me, Jetetsu. I'm the one who promised to get your cat back, remember?"
Primrose noticed he was carrying her cat.
"Ah! Oh Jewel! I missed you little buddy, come here!"
The cat didn't move. It was still motionless from before.
"What's wrong with him. What happened to him? Why wont he come?"
"Yeah, about that. He kinda got hurt a bit when he was running around. He's fine, but he is going to need to rest for a while, okay?"
"Okay fine."- She took the cat- "But what exactly happened to him?"
Jetetsu paused, trying to come up with a last minute response.
"Uh, he, well... I... You see, I actually didn't SEE what happened to him, so..."
Primrose smiled, "Oh well I guess. At least he'll be alright. Thank you, Jetetsu!"
Primrose hugged him. Keep in mind that Primrose had big breasts. You might also remember that Jetetsu has a weakness for beautiful mares. Sure, she might be older than him, but she looked good and that was all that mattered.
"Oh Celestia...." Jetetsu fell backwards after she let him go. He was still awake, but he was completely speechless. Pretty soon he just got up, turned around, and walked back to his house. He was sure that his friends would report to the Hokage for him.
"Well, it seems this WAS a waste of my time. Great, well I'm outta here." Rioku vanished from the group.
"At least he didn't lie to her. He actually didn't SEE himself land on him. Clever for avoiding the topic. Well, I guess I should go and report back to the Hokage. The rest of the day is yours, okay Asuna?"
"Yes sensei." She nodded.
"Goodbye then." He also fled.
Asuna left and headed towards where Rioku was heading. Maybe she could finally be alone with him. All the while, Jetetsu was heading back home. He needed a rest right now.
The door to Jetetsu's house opened up. In walked Jetetsu, who finally managed to get ahold of himself.
"Hey, Haruhi? Where are you? I wanna know how you've been these past few days." Jetetsu sat down on the couch.
"I'm coming!" A voice from upstairs called.
Down came Haruhi. She was wearing jeans with a jacket, that was all Jetetsu could see.
"Um, Jetetsu?"
"Yeah Haruhi. What is it?"
"Do you mind if I sat next to you?"
Jetetsu laughed, "What kind of question is that? Of course you can! You can sit by me whenever you like, Haruhi!"
Haruhi turned red and formed a small smile.
"Oh, okay then. Thank you." She sat next to him.
They were quiet for a while, Haruhi was just staring at Jetetsu, adoring him, smiling.
Jetetsu broke the silence, "So Haruhi, it must be really boring when I'm away. What do you do when your alone in the house?"
Haruhi turned red, "Oh! Uh, um, nothing, nothing at all. I mean... Well, I don't do anything bad. I-I-I Just relax and sleep sometimes. And do laundry and other stuff." She looked away.
"Laundry? Oh, so you've got yourself some clothes have you?"
"Well yes, I have, but I also do your laundry as well, Jetetsu." She blushed.
"Wait what!!? You've been doing my laundry?"
"Ahh! Well... Yes, but... I know I shouldn't cause it's yours but..."
"No, No, No. I don't care if it's polite or not. What bothers me is that your doing work in this house. You don't have to do anything like that for me you know. I don't want you doing stuff for me because you think you have to." Jetetsu frowned a little.
"But I... I don't think I need to. I... I want to do it. For you Jetetsu." She looked him in his eyes. She gazed into the hazel, she couldn't stop herself from looking.
Jetetsu put his hand on her shoulder. She broke from her trance.
"Haruhi, why would you want to just do this for me?"
She was silent for a few seconds, then she spoke.
"I want to because... Well, you see, I want to because, I feel like I just want to. You showed me kindness when no one else gave it to me. You willingly let me stay at your house alone, meaning you trust me. You give me so much, yet I return so little in thanks." She placed her hand over his.
"I want to do more for you, but I know for sure you wouldn't feel the same way about it if I told you." She rested her head on his hand.
"Whoa now." Jetetsu lifted his hand.
He continued, "I get that you want to thank me, but you really don't need to. Though, I guess I'm not going to be able to do much to stop you am I?" He laughed. Haruhi laughed with him.
"Thank you so much Jetetsu. You have no idea what it means for me to hear you say that. I just, really like you." Haruhi gasped.
She said it. She said she liked him! It was on accident. What was Jetetsu going to think of her now?
He merely laughed, "Wow, okay Haurhi. Nice way to tease right there. You really almost had me going!" He continued to chuckle.
"Well, I guess it's about time that we go to bed, right Haruhi?"
Haruhi nodded, speechless from what just happened. She then got up and went to change in Jetetsu's bedroom. She then got into his bed and just lied there.
She pondered, "He thought I was teasing him. He thought it was a joke. I guess he can be a little dense, but he's still a really nice stallion. He's actually nice AND handsome, now that I think of him. I might've accidently said it just now but, I like him. I want to be with him. But will he think the same way of me. I'm just a fragile pegasus who doesn't even fly that often. Just a petite mare. Wait! No, of course Jetetsu wouldn't think that! If he did then I would've been out of the house long ago. Maybe he does like me, but just cant believe it yet. Well, whatever the case, I hope I can at least continue on to be his close friend at least. Anyways, I had better get some sleep."
And with that, Haruhi turned out the lights and slept through the night.

Chapter 7: The Legendary Six
Jetetsu sprinted across his field. Never before in his life had he ran so fast. He wanted to reach the town square as quickly as he could. For a very legendary ninja group had arrived in Ponyville just last night, The Elements of Harmony! Jetetsu wanted to see them with his own eyes.
"Wow! The legendary ninjas of Ponyville are here! I wonder what they'll be like. I've heard rumors about them! I never thought they would actually exist! This is my chance to see what a REAL ninja looks like!"
He heard that they were the ones who saved Equestria from eternal darkness. They actually beat Nightmare Moon, the ninja of eternal darkness! He couldn't wait to see them!
Jetetsu continued his dash towards the village. His haunches were beginning to weaken, but that didn't bother him one bit! His pace stayed the same; onward to meet the legendary ninjas!
Jetetsu made it to the Hokage's building and took a look around. Nopony looked awesome enough to him to be a badass ninja. He knew that they were all supposed to be mares, but still, he at least thought they would still look recognizable. He continued his search around Ponyville. He looked high and low for them, or for at least one of them, but found nopony. He even went by the Sugarcube Corner to see if they had stopped to get a bite to eat, but nothing.
He ran all around town, but nothing! This was really starting to try his patience. He ran some more.
"Come on! They have to be around here somewhere. Maybe if I try the libr- Whoa!"
THUMP!
CLANG!
"Holy crap... What the hell was that?"
"Oh my! Excuse me? Are you okay little one?"
Jetetsu looked up to see a mare standing before him. Pretty good looking unicorn. She wore a cloak with a collar covering half her mouth, on the cloak was a mark that looked like a star with sparkles around it. Jetetsu could also tell she was near the middle ages. 30 maybe?
"Yeah, I'm fine, it's nothing. I go through way worse in training." The unicorn offered a hand. Jetetsu accepted it and stood.
"Ah, so your a ninja then? A genin I presume?"
"Yep, you guessed it. Watch out though! Because I'm only going to be a genin for a short while! Soon, I'll be a full-fledged ninja in no time at all!"
"Oh, so you think you can do it that fast, huh?"
"Hell yeah I do! I'm going to train as hard as I can every single day! I'll become stronger and stronger, and someday, I'll be able to beat the Princesses in battle! Then everypony will call me the greatest! Even you!" Jetetsu laughed
"So you think you can become that strong? That's your dream?"
"As I said already, hell yeah! You can make that a promise!"
Jetetsu gave her a thumbs up. She giggled.
"Keep up that determination of yours, and I have no doubts that you'll fulfill your dreams!"
"Thanks! Oh, by the way, my name is Jetetsu. What's your name?"
"My name? Well... You'll find out soon enough, okay? For now, I hear that the Hokage wants to see you, you check up on that." She patted his head and walked away.
"Well, alright then. I guess I can look for those ninjas later. The Hokage is the priority now. Jetetsu raced towards the Hokage's building.
"Jetetsu, come on in. There is somepony I want you to meet." The door opened and in came Jetetsu.
"What is it Macintosh? Who do you want me to meet?"
Jetetsu noticed that the unicorn from earlier was by his side.
"What the! Hey, it's you! Your that unicorn from earlier, aren't you!?"
The Hokage spoke, "So you two have already met, I see. Well, to get straight to the point. Jetetsu, the unicorn here, her name is Twilight Sparkle, and she is the leader of Ponyville's legendary six, also known as the Elements of Harmony." Big Mac gestured towards the cloaked pony.
"Give her all the credit, why don't you. It's not like there's five others who are just as worthy of the Hokage's recognition as she, you know?"
Jetetsu jumped at the sudden voice and turned around. He saw five other mares standing near the doorway, leaning on the walls. Jetetsu was surprised, they weren't in the room when he arrived, and the door never even opened! They must came in through the windows without him seeing, they must have some serious skill.
"Are you all the Elements of Harmony? The legendary ninja group that took on Nightmare Moon?"
The rainbow colored one replied, "Oh yeah, I remember her. She was the first REAL fight we ever had, come to think of it! We destroyed her in an instant! Didn't even last ten seconds." She gave a smug smirk with her eyes closed and her head down, making her look pretty cool.
"All right girls that enough, come, so that Jetetsu can get a good look at you all." The Hokage insisted.
The five mares stepped forward, giving Jetetsu a better look. The other half of the room was dark, after all. When they emerged from the shadows, Jetetsu's eyes automatically went to the rainbow colored one; she stood out the most.
She had on the same cloak as Twilight did, except the symbol on it was different. Instead of a star like Twilight's cloak had, hers was etched with thunderbolt coming out of a cloud.
The rest of the mares were the same. All but the markings on the cloak were the same. After the rainbow one came a mare that was near the shade of orange. Her marking was a bunch of apples.
Next was a cream colored mare, whose marking consisted of three butterflies. She seemed like the nicest. The one after her was a white mare whose marking was a group of diamonds. Lastly came a pink mare whose marking was a pair of balloons.
Jetetsu concluded that the markings were their cutie marks. They all looked so strong as well!
"Jetetsu, these ponies have come back to Ponyville from a long journey they were sent on. I know how badly you want to beat the Princesses in battle, so when they asked me what pony in general that I thought was the strongest of the new genin and why, I replied Jetetsu, mainly because he had the best dream and the strongest will." Big Mac walked up to Jetetsu and placed a hand on his head.
Big Mac continued, "I know you've been through some harsh times, what with your parents sealing Ranga within you, dying because of it, and being treated like a monster throughout your childhood. I know you must've felt miserable. You've endured very tough times, and yet your determination still burns bright to this very day! That is why you, out of all, are considered one of the most talented in my opinion." Big Mac removed his hand.
"Oh wow, thanks Macintosh. That really means a lot to me, I guess." Jetetsu smiled.
"You guess, huh? Well I guess that the Hokage really didn't need to do all that for you if all your going to do is say that much." The rainbow colored one said.
"I'm sorry but, I'm just not good with words. It's all I can say, really." Jetetsu gave a goofy grin.
"Well enough of that, you five have yet to introduce yourselves to him! Who goes first?"
The rainbow one stepped forward, "I will. My name is Rainbow Dash kid. I'm the fastest one in the group; my specialties lie in Wind style as well as Lightning style. So you could say I'm pretty awesome." She moved to the side of the room. Next was the white one, "Why hello to you darling! You are just the cutest thing ever aren't you!? My name is Rarity, and I use Earth style along with Fire style. I mix the two up to create my own style, the Diamond style. Remember that alright?"
Then the orange one, "Hey there fella! Mah name is Applejack, I'm the strongest in the group, and I'm also the most skilled in taijutsu. I just love usin' me some Water and Earth style! Big Mac there is mah brother too! "
Then came the cream colored mare. Her voice seemed more calm and sounded very nice.
"My name is Fluttershy, and I happen to be the medical ninja on the team. If it ever comes down to it, I use Fire style; I hardly know any though..." She trailed off and stepped aside.
Lastly came the pink one, "Hey there I'm Pinkie Pie and I love a lot of things like having fun even when on the battlefield I don't really know what I do for the team I just go and fight whoever's in our way I use A LOT of Water style and Fire style and apparently I mastered the teleportation jutsu according to my friends I love sweets like you have NO IDEA and I love talking to ponies about lots of different things I hope we can be really good friends cause your just SOOOOO cute!!"
Twilight interrupted, "Okay Pinkie! I think that's enough, your going to give the poor colt a headache." Pinkie just smiled and nodded, then stepped off. Jetetsu was on the verge of blushing from being called cute two times today. He collected himself and looked towards Twilight
"My name is Twilight Sparkle, as you may have heard, and I am the leader of the group. I use Lightning style, Water style, and Fire style; with the exception of some particular genjutsu. I'm the only one here who knows three jutsu styles to use. I am usually the one in the back of the group when a fight breaks out, this is so that I may direct the team from a safe distance." Twilight then bowed a little.
"Okay, well, thank you for the intros and other stuff. So why are you all here, and why am I here at that?"
"I brought you here so that you may meet Ponyville's best ninja. I just wanted to let you see what you are going to have to live up to; you have to be as battle versed, wise, reflexed, and most importantly, you have to be as patient as them." Big Mac said.
He continued, "Well, I just wanted you to meet them, that's all. Now you may leave." The Hokage pointed to the door.
"Alright then, thanks." Jetetsu left, closing the door behind him.
"Now as for the rest of you." The Hokage said.
"Yes Lord Hokage?" Twilight replied.
"Is he seriously the one? The one you wanted us to train when next year comes around? He doesn't look too special to me." Rainbow Dash said.
"Don't underestimate him Dash, I actually saw him a little while ago. He told me his dream was to beat the Princesses in battle, to become stronger than all. He looked really serious about it as well. The determination in his eyes, the fire in his heart, it amazes me!"
Rainbow Dash laughed, "Oh Celestia!! That's the most outrageous thing I've ever heard! This colt! I swear he'll kill me! That's just so funny Twilight!" She laughed some more.
"Well, I thought he was a nice kid. I think he could do it as long as he never gave up." Fluttershy chimed.
Pinkie Pie joined, "Well I thought he was REALLY cute! He's gonna be a treat for all the mares when he gets older!" Pinkie giggled.
"I agree darling! He was just the cutest thing EVER!! Though I'm pretty sure that he isn't focused on that right now; Twilight said he wanted to become stronger so..." She didn't finish.
"We're all clear then right? Now you all know what your dealing with, am I right?"
All replied, "Yes Hokage!"
"Good, then scatter!"
The six then disappeared into the village.
Jetetsu was walking around town, passing by the familiar sights. Sugarcube Corner, Golden Oaks Library, the Academy. He was just taking in all the sights. He was also pondering.
"I wonder what they wanted from me. I know the Hokage wouldn't have called me there to just MEET them, right?" He thought about it for a while.
On his way back to the house, he passed by Rioku Fushima. He gave a scowl at him when he passed, Rioku gave a similar face back. He really didn't like the guy, he WAS his rival after all. He kept on walking.
Then on his way back, he ran into somepony who he was REALLY surprised to see out here, he saw Haruhi! Jetetsu ran up to her and gave her a hello.
"Hey! Haruhi! What's up!? What're you doing out here?"
Haruhi turned and saw him. She gave really surprised look that was mixed with fear as well.
"Oh! Jetetsu! I thought you were, um, well aren't you supposed to be...!" She stopped talking when Jetetsu stopped before her.
"So your finally roaming the outside huh?! Good for you! So what have you been up to?"
"Oh! Uh, um... No-nothing much Jetetsu, I was just, uh..." She started to turn red.
"Are you sure your alright? Your red you know. Do you have a fever? Here, let me feel." Jetetsu placed his hand on her forehead. Haruhi embraced his soft touch, she blushed even more.
"Whoa! Haruhi!? Are you alright?"
"Yes, I'm fine, Jetet-" She fainted.
"Great. THIS again." He picked her up and carried her back to the house.
Haruhi awoke in Jetetsu's bed. She got up and looked around, she saw a glass of orange juice on the nightstand. She gladly drank it all.
"Mmmm... Thanks Jetetsu." She said to herself.
She got up and out of bed and went downstairs to the living room. She got down there and saw Jetetsu on the couch, sleeping the night away. She wished he was awake so that she could thank him properly, but she couldn't wake him now of all times; that would be rude. She looked over him, she thought he looked cute when he slept. He didn't snore, he didn't move at all, and his facial expression never changed from that handsome face he had when he was awake.
"You've been so good to me. Yet, all I've ever done was use your house and wash your clothes, I wish I could do more, much more. It's just that, I'm so in love with you right now, and I've only met you! Why is it that every time I see you, I get so flustered and my body just gets this feeling? I'm sure you don't feel the same way however, but hopefully, as time passes, you'll feel the same way soon enough." She gave him a kiss on the forehead.
Without thinking, she got on the couch beside him, and fell asleep with him.
