//-------------------------------------------------------// My Sweet Agony -by TheSakrament666- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// My Sweet Agony //-------------------------------------------------------// My Sweet Agony Rarity was busy again. It was a mixed weather day, and Sweetie was coming home from school. Rarity had the rest of the day for herself, and was relaxing with a cup of tea. Raspberry zinger, her favorite, never ceased to bring her taste buds to life. she sighed, looking out the window. Hearing the birds chirp, and watching the creatures and fillies run amok, brought a smile to her face. She remembered when she was young, and had more time for such things. Those were simpler times, where she didn't have to worry about dress orders. She was almost always busy, and couldn't find much time for herself or Sweetie Belle. She tried to find ways to remedy this fact, but to no extent did that fact help. Work was always rearing it's head at her, reminding her that her talent came with a price. She sighed at this, knowing she may never find time for her sister, who loved and adored her so. Sweetie may get into quite a bit of mischief, but she always apologized and helped afterward. Many a day was spent like this, sitting at the window, sipping her tea. Looking out at the rest of Ponyville. The town had seen it's fair share of catastrophes, but they always managed to get things back to normal. Especially after Tirek, things had been especially difficult. Rarity shuddered at the memory of him. He had been their toughest enemy ever, being able to absorb the energy of any race. Even the princesses couldn't defeat him separately, they had to combine all of their powers. She wondered how things would have been had they failed. Most likely horrendous and twisted. Rarity then wondered what Sweetie Belle had been doing, at that time. Hopefully she hadn't noticed anything, although not to notice would be extremely questionable. At that moment, the bell to her shop rang. Sweetie Belle came through the door, and dropped her things at the door. She proceeded to the kitchen. "Hello, Sweetie, did you have a good day. Sweetie popped her head around the corner, a sad expression adorning her face. Rarity was worried, this wasn't like Sweetie Belle to be sad. Rarity instantly became alert. "Is something wrong? You didn't have a bad day at school, did you?" Sweetie realized her facial expression, and put on a smile. "N-no, sis. Why would you think that?" Rarity looked at her, obviously not fooled. She sighed, and said, "Come now, darling, you can tell me, if that is what you desire. I know, why don't you sing for me? I know you love singing, and your voice is lovely. Please?" She looked at Sweetie Belle with her doggy eyes, and knew that something was definitely off. Her sister normally jumped at the chance to sing. But Sweetie just stood there, looking at her. Rarity wondered if she had something in her mane. Sweetie just sighed, frowning again. "I don't know, today was really stressful. I don't think I would sing really good..." "You, not sing good? Unfathomable. Your voice is sweeter than strawberries. If you don't want to, that's fine, but I would enjoy it ever so much." Sweetie Belle just stared at her sister, wondering why she said this. Sweetie Belle thought for a bit, then walked to the middle of the floor. Rarity smiled, shifting on the couch. Sweetie Belle drank some water, then began. All my life, it was fine, every day, I would say, when are you coming home, you came to me, and smiled, you fooled me, all the while Oh, but I fell for it, You had me tricked. You only wanted, one, thing, It felt like a brick. I cried, and asked you please, but you had me on, my knees. My pain did not deter you, so my words meant nothing to you. You hurt me, and made my sad, you ruined everything I had. Then you tore me apart, straight in my heart, to pieces Rarity was becoming slightly perturbed, but she continued to listen. Oh why, did you do this? I sought out the sweet abyss. My sweet agony, made you smile, tearing me up all the while. This city's, looking down. But nopony knows how to frown. Except me, oh, except me. Sweetie Belle collapsed on the floor, crying. Rarity ran to her, and picked her up, trying to console the filly. "Ssssh, what's wrong? It's okay, I'm here, nothing can hurt you, darling. Please, tell me what's wrong. I only want to help." Sweetie looked up at her. "A colt I m-met on the way b-back here, one day. I-it's been happening for a w-while now. He said he could get my s-singing career going, a-and I fell for it. I-I just wanted to become a good singer... and he..." Rarity's eyes grew big, knowing what had happened. Rage and sadness burned in the mare's eyes. "What did this colt look like? And where have you been each time?" Sweetie couldn't stop crying. "W-we always go t-to the abandoned music s-store. But it's no use, h-he went away today. He said he was going back h-home, wherever that I-is." Sweetie Belle continued to cry, and Rarity wondered what he looked like. "Sweetie, what was his coat color?" "I don't know, he always wore a cloak. I've just kept this hidden for s-so long, I just want to forget. Please..." She completely broke down this time. There was no way Rarity was going to snap her out of this one. So they lay there, crying together. Rarity because she hurt for her sister, and because she couldn't do anything about it, and Sweetie because she just wanted it all to end. They fell asleep like that, drifting off into the night. Author's Note I've wanted to do this one for ages. Never knew how I would. Then I was playing XBOX and it hit me. (I was playing Silent Hill and Ninety Nine Nights... I don't know either.)So yeah, here is some depressing Sweetie Belle stuff.
