Chapter 1: One Person, One Pony

The city was a large and temporal place that was an unsafe haven for those who traveled by themselves. Even small animals weren't safe from the threat that the city streets provided, which was unfortunate for a small creature that had just arrived to the city not too long ago. For that matter, a creature who had just arrived to the PLANET not too long ago.

The small creature was a young pony no bigger than the size of a small farm animal. She was orange furred with a short tail and mane that shared the color of purple. She had small but noticeable wings that protruded slightly above where the top of her fore hooves were. The young creature also had a name, and it was Scootaloo.

With a shake and a stir, Scootaloo awoke from her sleep ; dazed and confused about what had happened, and more importantly, where she was. "Ow my head." she said "Hey Sweetie, what's the big idea zapping me like........" she stopped once she realized that her young unicorn friend was nowhere to be found. "Sweetie? Apple Bloom? Come on guys this isn't funny." Scoot said, starting to get scared. She took a look at her environment again and saw that she was no longer in her home town of Ponyville.

She remembered her and her friends walking around town after a long day at school. The had made their way to Sugar Cube Corner when Sweetie started to say how much better she had gotten at using magic and that she wanted to show them by trying to use a teleport spell to get inside the store. Apple Bloom had said to count her out of the idea since magic always gave her a headache, and proceeded to walk inside on her own. Scootaloo of course offered to help out her friend and told her to try it out on her. The last thing she remembered before falling asleep was a bright light.

"Oh this is bad, something must've gone terribly wrong with her spell." the young Pegasus said as she frantically ran in place looking back and forth for her friends. Just then, she heard what sounded like someone talking, she ran towards the sound of the individuals voice but crouched down in a nearby bush. She was shocked to see that the individual talking wasn't a pony, but was some sort of a strange creature that walked on two legs instead of four. The creature also had no fur covering it's body, but did wear clothing. It also had a mane, but didn't have a tail, horn, or even wings. What was stranger still was the fact that the creature was talking into a small device that Scootaloo couldn't figure out the purpose of.

She stayed in the bush as the creature walked by and felt relieved that she hadn't been spotted. She walked back to where she was when she woke up and sat down. "I got to stay calm and figure out what to do. Ooooo what would Rainbow Dash do?" she asked herself thinking of her older sister figure, and wishing how she was here to help her. "Obviously she would fly up and see if she could find a way out of this. Curse these stubby wings." The situation started to seem hopeless to her, and what's worse is that she considered asking one of the creatures to help her. The idea was pushed out once she realized that she didn't know whether or not they were friendly. After a while, she decided to hide in the bush from earlier and wait for her friends to come and find her. She just hoped she wouldn't be found by one of the creatures before her friends found her.

Alexander Rodgers (Alex to anyone who knew him) was a young man of 20 who had a fair life. He still lived with his parents, but was working his way to moving out with the job he had at a local supermarket. His parents were out of town for a month, which started to become a regular thing ever since his nineteenth birthday. Today he was sitting around the house, bored out of his mind. Even playing Assassin's Creed Black Flag wasn't helping quell the boredom he felt.

"Man I need to get some fresh air." he said. "The only problem is that its rare to find that in the city." he stated, trying to make himself laugh. "I guess i go walk around a bit at the park down the street. Anything to get out the house for a bit." With that he grabbed his black flannel jacket and headed down the street to the park.

'Man I guess I wouldn't be as bored if I had someone special to spend some time with. I really need to get a girlfriend.' he thought to himself as he walked along the park's paved pathway. He was brought out of his depressing eternal conflict when he heard something rustle in the bushes he walked past. He jerked his head to look at them and could make out the signs of something being in them, something orange. 'What creature in the park is orange?' he asked himself, as he crept closer to get a closer look. He pulled back the leaves of the bush quietly only to barely avoid gasping loudly at what he was looking at.

He saw something that resembled a small pony, no bigger than his torso. What was weird to him was the way her fur and mane were colored; as orange and purple were not a usual color scheme to horses. Weirder still was when he noticed a pair of wings on her back, and from the looks of it, they were real. Without thinking twice about it he reached out towards the small creature and tried to grab it.

"What exactly are you?" he asked.
