Chapters Flashback: Twilight Sparkle
-- Flashback: Twilight Sparkle --
I remember looking at my parents. This memory felt like it was a long time ago. It almost felt like years ago when I was a little filly.
It feels like this is a memory I should remember more than others. This was the start of the End of my World.
I was at a concert waiting for a band called the Eternal Starlight's to appear onstage. They were composed of three ponies who looked beautiful and had fluorescent, almost see-through-like wings and wore choker necklaces that had a red jewel.
I will always remember them as the destroyers of my family in this memory.
Adagio Dazzle is the leader of the group. Always standing in the middle of the two ponies. She rubs her hooves together with excitement, her smile as wicked as a witch. Her orange hair bouncing all over the place. Its so poofy with her orange and yellow highlights, that you can't help but notice how weird she was acting at the last concert.
She had a sly grin on her face, and kept rubbing her hooves together like she was planning something.
Their necklaces with a blood red jewel glowed unnaturally.
Aria Blaze usually keeps quiet, but will take any chance she can get to put an insult in or two. She was a backup singer doing the harmonizing while Adagio sang.
Sonata Dusk, to put it lightly, was an adorable idiot. She always seemed happy or blurted out random things that didn't seem relevant until the night of their last concert. Sonata didn't seem like a threat at all. I thought she was actually dumb and she pulled it off well until after the concert.
Her dumbness was just a facade to make them seem nice and peaceful. In reality Sonata is very smart.
Now if I can remember this clearly the concert was outside Ponyville City Hall. I still remember the building looked smaller on the outside, but bigger on the inside.
Behind the stage you could barely hear the conversation behind the curtains. Their conversation was distorted and I could only hear bits and pieces: " Sonata... its going to happen tonight! We must get ready... Aria... prepare... We can do this.." was all I heard.
Ponies were having their own little conversations all around the room, so it was hard to hear the entire conversation.
I could feel the excitement in the air. We were all getting pumped up for the concert. My Mom, Dad, and Brother were there. We came down to Ponyville to celebrate an amazing achievement I accomplished a few days earlier.
My brother congratulated me with a hug, " I'm so proud of you Twilight! My special little sister, you get to live inside Princess Celestia's castle as on of her special prodigies!"
" I'm amazed that it happened!" I said in my small voice.
"Since you have been asked personally to stay at the castle with Princess Celestia, I'm not going to get to see you that much. So promise me you'll see me this weekend?" he asked kindly.
"Of course! Your my Big Brother Best Friend Forever!" I hugged him for a long while.
He rubbed my head softly and I laughed. He seemed so loving and caring towards me.
It feels like we talked about something before this, I can't clearly remember what it is, but what I do remember are bits and pieces to a puzzle that can't be completed. At least not yet.
I could hear everyone's excitement. Millions of ponies were sitting everywhere around us. There were small seats sitting in rows of rows that were already completely filled, with thousands of more ponies to come. There was shouts of happiness and shouts for the "Eternal Starlight's to get their flanks on stage and sing already!" was exactly what they said. A lot of them were very impatient.
Some of them probably were waiting months and months to be able to get a concert in the small town of Ponyville
That's was the last time the Eternal Starling's had one of their concerts.
They hit big spots like Las Pegusus, Fillydelphia, Appleoosa, Canterlot, almost every big city you could think of and now they came to Ponyville: their last stop on the big benefit tour.
The concert stage was huge for Ponyville standards. It was as long as two small houses put together, but for Canterlot standards it was pretty small.
The stage was the color of darkness, with small speakers hanging from the edges of the stage, and bigger speakers sitting at the edge of the left and right side.
Suddenly the concert lights dimmed, then started following The Three Ponies on stage. They walked slowly up to the front of the stage. They had no microphones seen anywhere on the stage.
Music started playing from the speakers. A few seconds later they started harmonizing. And then Adagio started singing,
"Welcome to the show."
Were here to let you know,
Our time is now,
Your time is running out."
The music seemed dark, I was scared, but no one looked at me to see if I was alright. They paid more attention to a band than to me. Something didn't seem right.
" Feel the wave of sound," Their hooves lifted into the air and red sound waves came from their necklaces. They directed the sound waves towards the crowd. " As it crashes down." The sound waves went through my body, but I didn't feel any different.
My family, however, didn't turn out the same. They became mesmerized by the music and didn't turn their head at me.
" You can't turn away, we'll make you want to stay!" I waved my hoof in front of them and they stood still, paying attention to the Eternal Starlight's.
" We will be adored, tell us that you want us!" " We want you Eternal Starlight's!" The crowd droned like minions.
"Tell us that you want us!
We won't be ignored!
Its time for our reward!
Now you need us, come and heed us!
Nothing can stop us now!"
They loved the Eternal Starlight's. They couldn't live without them. They would fight to get them. They were all running up to the front of the stage to worship them and love them.
"What we have in store,"
I ran.
"All we need and more,"
I ran as fast as could away from the concert. I ran for my life away from the ponies who decided to takeover Equestria.
The music started to fade into the background. "We will break on through."
I could hear my heartbeat beating as fast as it could and the sound of my feet clopping away out of the streets of Ponyville.
"Now its time to finish you!"
I don't remember stopping, until I hear an explosion. And what I saw I couldn't believe would ever happen.
My heart sunk into darkness and depression. I. Lost. All. Hope.
And I knew my world could never be changed back again.
That's the last time I ever saw my parents and my brother looking normal. When they had their own sense of thought and had emotion.
They didn't run after me, they wanted to worship the ponies that took their own free will away from them. I was all alone.

-- Sonata Dusk --
In the east quarter of Celestia's Castle, Sonata Dusk looked outside from above, gazing at the minions below. She smiled, sweetly and wondered what she would do today. Would she watch for loose ponies? Or would she slack off and take a nap during this time?
Adagio would be angry if I did that, she thought to herself, but I could use a day off! She complained in her head.
But Sonata knew better, she knew Adagio would jump off the deep end if she saw what Sonata was doing, so she sat in the high tower waiting for signs and looking for resistant ponies.
She sighed and began looking in the streets of Canterlot.
-- Aria Blaze --
Aria was sitting on the west side tower of the castle. Watching for some low life ponies to somehow peek through the houses or show themselves.
Aria knew there was a small possibility for this to happen. She hated watching stupid ponies all day, when she could do something more productive. Making more energy for herself was more productive than this.
Aria was annoyed at everything from Adagio to the minions, she was mad at everyone. She was not a happy camper like Sonata; who could find the light to the darkness and solve any problem in any situation.
A problem solver is just what Aria wanted to be. That would be useful to her advantage. An advantage for the Dazzling's!
Aria was better at coming up with cool names. Dazzling's just seemed to click with them. It fit better than the Eternal Starlight's, but even that clicked with them. It seemed dark and mysterious, like them!
Aria wished she could just live peacefully without having to deal with stupid ponies all day long.
She wondered if Sonata was doing any better with the watch, would she find any ponies lurking behind the walls? Probably not. The chance is unlikely. But a Siren can hope can't she?
-- Sonata Dusk --
Sonata watched the ponies outside with joy. She liked seeing how they worked or did their jobs in Canterlot. Some ponies were washing the windows and tidying up the streets of Canterlot.
As she watched them I noticed a pony looking worriedly to his left and right. Sonata studied him and took in every detail of what he looked like.
He was a regular adult pony, but he looked like a walking corpse, his body was small and frail, he looked so weak, he has to be a resistant.
A resistant was never at the concert, because of sheer luck. That was the day they took over the world. It was so fun to get to feel that much power come a huge crowd of ponies. Sonata yearned to feel that moment again.
Sonata picked up a walkie-talkie and buzzed in Aria, "Aria, can you read me?" she asked through waves of static.
"Yes, Sonata, what is it?"
"I've found someone."
"You actually found someone?"
"Yes! Look over by the old yellow building!"
"Do you see it?"
"See what?"
"The pony peering through an alleyway!"
"Oh, I see him."
"We've got to go catch him."
"Oh, Adagio will like that we found someone after all."
"Meet you down at the front of the Castle?"
"Sure." And she signed off.
Sonata ran down the hallways as quick as she could and ran to the entrance of the castle, her hooves making skidmarks across the ground. Aria was quickly behind her as they stopped at the center of the entrance.
"We've gotta act natural, we've got to sneak our way around him and grab him before he screams for help, or signal more resistant's. He could have some buddies helping him survive."
"Your prepared, aren't you?"
"Yep, like always!" she cheered.
"Adagio, loves that about you, and I guess its always good to be prepared."
"Should we disguise ourselves?"
"Absolutely, we need to be able to be seamlessly noticed by the pony, walk right by him, grab him and bring him to Adagio so that we can feed on his negativity."
"Aw! That uses some of the stored energy from my necklace, you know I don't like feeling weak afterwards!"
"That's a minor complaint, besides we'll get more energy when we sucked his energy, so let's disguise ourselves as mindless and walk!"
Their necklaces glowed a bright red and suddenly their forms started to change, Sonata's hair became shorter with a nice blonde haircut with bangs that went to the right side. Her skin color was grey, with bubbles as a cutiemark. Her race was now Pegasus. She opened her eyes and noticed she had a hard time looking straight forward.
Aria was now a brown pony with short brown hair and wore a tie, with a timekeeper cutiemark, "Why am I always the guy?" Her voice now had a British accent. She was an earth pony. Both their eyes, however, supported the evil green color that mindless had.
"I hate that our necklaces always give us random ponies to change into. But the longer we stay in this form the more energy we use up trying to keep us alive, so we have to be quick about this." No one could take her voice seriously, when she sounded like a little kid who needed their nose cleaned.
"Got it, let's walk."
"W-w-wait! We have to walk lifelessly! Like them!"
"Okay, Sonata! Let's go! "
They walked slowly outside the castle. (Seriously they were as slow as turtles.) (Maybe even slower than molasses.) (If that was possible.) Aria didn't want to break her cover and admit this was the most boring thing ever, but in some way she had to admit it was a stealthy idea, but patience was not her virtue.
Patience is a virtue, but its a boring virtue! Just stick through it Aria, she thought to herself, while her composure was still lifeless.
When this is over, I'll be glad to be done with this for a while.
Moving along the crowd of ponies, they saw him, the resistant, the one that got away. They looked normal and walked right by him and turned left on the next street behind him. They ran as quietly as they could and found themselves in the same alley as the runaway. He went back into the yellow building and closed the door.
They started walking a faster pace and then found themselves at the back entrance of the house. They walked inside the house, slowly closing the door behind them. Sonata quickly looked around the room for any signs that the pony saw them, he wasn't anywhere near them.
"Aria, let's go look around and see if we can find him," she said in a quiet whisper.
"okay."
Aria followed her with her back slouched and relaxed, they went straight across the room into the kitchen and popped their heads through, looking for him.
"He's not in here. Let's look in another room."
"Ugh, fine," Aria rolled her eyes, she hated the repetition of looking for ponies.
They moved from room to room searching for the pony, then they headed upstairs, near the entrance they went through and made their way upwards. The staircase steep and had pictures of ponies looking so happy. That was a memory they would never get back again.
A lot of these pictures had a group of four ponies smiling happily somewhere far from Canterlot. It showed them playing somewhere on the beach, having fun.
Sonata, gazed at the pictures for a moment, "It feels wrong." She said solemnly.
"What feels wrong?"
"Taking over the world!" Sonata snapped.
"Why does it make you feel bad?"
"Look at this happy family and tell me why did we have make their life miserable by making them mindless?!" She broke into tears.
"Because of Adagio."
"She wanted them to pay for what they've done to us, but now that its here and now I wish everything could go back to normal."
"You want to go back to being poked and prodded like a science experiment?" Aria questioned her, pointing her hoof at her.
"No, but"-
"I didn't think so, the only way were going to survive is to fight back. That's why we did this take over the world business. We want to be respected and treated normally like a regular pony."
"I know, but"-
"Sonata, either your with us or against us, which side are you going to choose?"
Sonata looked down at the floor, "I choose you guys." she sniffled.
"That's what I thought."
"Now cry up those tears and stop showing weakness. We've got to hurry now, he's probably heard us already."
They looked around the rooms upstairs, they found him within a closet in the second room they looked in, he was shivering from fright. They opened the closet and he nearly ran for his life, "Don't you dare catch me, I don't want to come with you!"
They ran for him, he was running for his life, he ran outside, but he made a mistake of falling on his back knees when he hit the gravel of the pavement, he braced for impact, and hit his chin hard on the concrete floor, but quickly got back up and groaned in pain, but kept running as blood dripped from his chin.
They finally got up to him, running as fast as they could and grabbed him, "NO! I DON'T WANT TO GO!" He screamed, but everyone went on with their regular business as usual.
"I'll let Adagio know about this and we'll be over there shortly."

-- Our Group Meetup: Before The Flashback: Twilight Sparkle --
As the morning sun begins to rise I have only one thing on my mind: breakfast. My tummy rumbles, I'm starving. I haven't had a decently good meal in a long time. All the food I have has already expired passed its expiration date.
This is not my house, I am unfamiliar with the concept of owning my own place. I just move from random house to random house in search of food and a comfortable place to stay. This is only temporary.
I lay on my back against a nice warm and comfy bed, I wish I could just lay here all day and read a book, but I have work to do. The world can't be saved if there's no one left to save it.
Light shines in from the right side of me where a big window resides, Fluttershy sleeps next to me silently breathing in soft breaths, her soft pink hair, touches my back and I turn myself to the right side and give her some more room. Fluttershy moves closer to me in her sleep and cuddles against me, and coos in her sleep, she smiles, and I feel her warm embrace, and for once its is calm and peaceful, no sound is heard throughout the entire house.
Rainbow Dash, with her rainbow colored mane and tail, has her own little bed on the far right of me. She snores at a medium volume. Rainbow Dash hogs the entire bed.
I just lay here enjoying the peacefulness of the morning. The softness of the light blue covers against me, and the satin feel of a comfortable pillow is just how I like it.
Sleeping upstairs is nice, Fluttershy is a nice sleeping buddy to have around, especially in cute moments like this when our little dreamer is smiling adorably and doing cute things in her sleep.
I yawn silently and close my eyes. Fluttershy grips me tighter and nuzzles up against me, I wonder what kind of dream she is having.
"Oh, my..." Her soft voice speaks, Fluttershy's awake and she's probably noticing what she's done. She jumps off the bed immediately, "I'm sorry Twilight."
"It's alright, what's wrong?"
"Nothing," she blushed when she looked at me.
What was so wrong about her snuggling up against me? Is there certain laws a pony should abide by?
"Whoa! What's going on here you two lovebirds?" Rainbow asked, looking at us with a sly grin.
"Were not in love!" Fluttershy yelled, looking embarrassed.
"Don't think I didn't see what you did there Fluttershy. I saw you with your hooves all over Twilight, you wanted her and you know it."
Fluttershy hid her face within her hair, her cheeks as red as an apple.
"C'mon don't poke fun at Fluttershy."
"I wasn't. She's all yours Fluttershy." Rainbow Dash saluted her and walked outside our door and headed downstairs, the smell of breakfast started to fill the entire house. I haven't smelled anything as wonderful as the smell of a nice meal in years. It smelled like apple pie, but I didn't care what I had for breakfast, I'd take anything.
Apple Pie can only mean one thing: Applejack was making breakfast. She was a great cook with expertise on how to make everything taste like heaven in your mouth, our mouth's watered for Applejack's cooking. We followed Rainbow downstairs to the kitchen where a delicious Pie was sitting on the table. "Good mornin'", she tipped her Stetson hat and greeted us with her southern twang.
"Your up early, Applejack,"
"Like always, you know me I'm an early riser." Applejack has always woken up early with a smile on her face, she was a regular morning pony.
I changed the subject, "Was any mindless spotted last night?"
"Nope, luckily I had Pinkie Pie to help me keep watch, we took shifts to make sure you guys were safe." Pinkie Pie is good at staying awake the whole night. With Pinkie's kind of energy Applejack could stay up months without ever needing sleep, Pinkie was just that hyper. With her high pitched voice and random sense of humor Pinkie Pie was fun to be around and definitely brought laughs to our little group of six.
We are so different from each other I wonder how were able to contain this chaos and work together. Applejack, is honest and hard working, Fluttershy is shy but kind, Rarity generous, but only on special situations, Rainbow Dash is bold, daring and loyal, Pinkie Pie brings laughter and is chaotic, and I'm good at using magic and love reading books.
Today, Rarity is sleeping in, longer than usual, but she always says, 'I need my beauty sleep!' and puts back on her sleeping mask, which darkens the room even more. She is a drama queen. She comes from a family who used to live around the fancy part of Equestria.
I look out the window and see our abandoned town of Ponyville. Its lifeless and dull. Sometimes I wish someone would come and make this day somewhat more exciting than usual. I can't spend the rest of my life staying inside here waiting to get captured by the Siren's.
I need to train for the moment when I can fight back against them and know I'll win. I need to get stronger with my magical abilities. I feel like everypony could benefit from training. Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash could train to fly faster to avoid capture.
Rarity and I could learn to use higher ranked spells. And Applejack and Pinkie Pie could exercise to help build up their strength.
This would be a good plan and work in our favor. I'll ask them about it later and see if they'd like that plan. But right now I want to enjoy a nice apple pie made by Applejack.
Rarity walked downstairs and was wide awake. Her hair was perfectly curled and brushed. Her teeth were perfectly white, everything was kept to perfection, "Good morning, darlings!" she greeted us with her regal accent still supporting her Canterlot manner.
"Your hair looks lovely," Fluttershy complimented.
"You missed out on a delicious apple pie."
"I did?! why didn't anyone wake me?"
Rainbow Dash snickered, "We did, you just wanted some more 'beauty rest' Dahling!" She mimicked Rarity's accent.
"Not funny," Rarity looked stern, with a straight face.
Pinkie burst out laughing, "That was great Rainbow Dash! I haven't seen you try to do that!"
They hoof-bumped each other, and continued eating the last pieces of their pie.
"Applejack, we need to get out of here," Rarity said suddenly. Her voice filled with fear.
She gestured her hoof for us to look outside. In the distance there was a small group of ponies and theyes were moving closer to Ponyville.
They were at a good enough distance where we would be able to sneak into another building without being seen.
"Let's go to my old barn cellar, we should be safer there."
Applejack showed us to the back entrance of the house and we started running outside behind the poniless buildings towards Applejack's old farm.
The ponies were walking along the roads, their expressions lifeless, with their fully green eyes. They were minions of the Siren's.
They worked for Sonata, Aria and Adagio, doing their dirty work, while they sit around the castle feeding off of their negative energy that they willingly give up, by fighting against one another.
It's so sad to see that these ponies once used to be a neighbor or best friends from a long time ago. In fact a while ago Fluttershy saw her mother walking the streets. For days she cried, because she saw how terrible her Mom looked. Her mother's hair was a rats nest, she looked like she hasn't slept in years, but that's probably true.
I've never seen a mindless sleep, they've always looked tired, and had bags under their eyes. They always walked so slowly, almost zombie-like.
Soon, we were at Applejack's farm. An old sign hung above the entrance it says: Sweet Apple Acres, in red lettering on arched wood.
Applejack lead us to her cellar located to the side of her red barn house.
We passed acres and acres of dead apple trees.
She opened the cellar doors and gestured us inside. She was the last one to close the door.
The cellar was completely, black darkness with only a sliver of light from the cellar doors to give us light, but it was roomy.
"Do you have a light or something to shed some light to this dark room?" Rarity asked.
"Here, let me light my horn," I said, and the room brightened with a purple glow from my magic.
"That's better, thank you Twilight."
We would be staying here for a while until we were for sure the mindless were gone, "What can we do to make this silence less boring?"
"We could tell each other stories," Fluttershy suggested.
"How about we tell each other something personal, if your willing to share it? I've always wanted to know more about everyone. I just think you all are so interesting."
We all nodded.
"Fluttershy, how about you go first?"
"Uh.... Okay..." she said, her voice at a light whisper. We got closer to her so we could hear her better.
"I already know what your going to say, Fluttershy."
"You do?"
"Yeah, you showed me this morning," and winked at her, she blushed again.
"What did she show you this mornin'?"
"She has a little crush on Twilight," Rainbow stated, matter-of-factly. "She was snuggling against her, rubbing her face against Twilight's neck. And she was doing this all in her sleep. She must've had one of those dreams."
"Someone's smitten kitten!" Rarity realized. Fluttershy hid behind me covering her face from everyone. "You intrigue me Fluttershy."
"Okay, let's move on Fluttershy is super embarrassed, I don't want her to explode from embarrassment, so let's move on to Rainbow Dash."
"Okay, this is something that only Fluttershy knows, but I'll tell you guys anyway," she paused and took in a big breath, "You know a few days before the concert, when there was a huge Sonic Rainboom in the air?"
I don't recall anything, but the rest of them nodded, "That Rainboom made in the sky was made by the one and only Rainbow Dash!" She pointed at herself, and doing a heroic pose in front of us.
"How can that be you?"
"Fluttershy will tell you once she's returned to her quiet, shy self, she was the reason I made the Sonic Rainboom in the first place!"
"Really?"
"Yeah, there were some guys picking on her that day, making fun of her that she couldn't fly, so I stepped in and turned the fight into a little competition to get their minds off of Fluttershy. I raced against those two bullies and won, but before I did I started gaining speed, eventually going so fast I broke the sound barrier and made a sonic Rainboom!"
"And that was the day when I got my awesome cutiemark!" She showed us her cutiemark which had a cloud with red, blue, and yellow coming out of it like a lightning strike.
Rainbow Dash was proud of herself for boasting about her spectacular Sonic Rainboom. However, it showed that she loved the attention. Which makes her feel self-centered. Rainbow Dash is like that sometimes, but she's great at sticking by our side.
"Wow! that's weird! I got my cutiemark on that same day too!"
"Yeah! an' mine too!"
"Me three!!"
Wow, that's really weird."
"Let's tell our cutiemark stories!! I'll go first!" Pinkie said excitedly, "A long time ago, before the Last Concert I used to work on a rock farm with my entire family."
"You? You worked on a rock farm Pinkie? I thought you would've done something way different.
"That's why I'm telling you this story, now shush! As I was saying I used to work on a rock farm with my family, I had my Mom and Dad, Inky, Blinky, and Maud work there along side me. They were my sister and I loved them.
"So one day I decided to surprise them with a little party to help brighten their spirits and when I showed them the party, I saw a Sonic Rainboom and realized my talent was throwing parties and making ponies happy! They really enjoyed the party and hoped I'd do more," she paused, "And that's the story of how Ponyville was made."
"Um, Pinkie you were talkin' about your cutiemark an' how you got it."
"Next time I'll tell you about how I saved the day with pumpkins."
We all face-hooved ourselves for getting us into that one.
"Do you remember how you got you cutiemark, Twilight?" Rarity asked.
"No," I said immediately, "I probably don't have anything special about me anyways."
"That's not true. There's always something that makes a pony unique."
"Well I don't feel that special."
"C'mon, now," she moved closer, sitting right beside me, "Don't get yourself down in the dumps, there will be something that makes you special."
"There will?"
"Yes, when you remember, you'll realize just how special you are."
Suddenly, a knock was heard from the cellar door, and the moaning of ponies.
"There here!" She yelled in a low whisper.
-- Our Group Meeting: Before The Flashback: Twilight Sparkle --
The Aftermath: Adagio Dazzle
-- The Aftermath: Adagio Dazzle --
This is our palace. Our sanctuary. Our home forever.
Celestia's Castle is ours for the taking. I feel so powerful at this very moment I feel like I could take on the world and win... I'm sitting in the throne that used to be Celestia's.
The throne was sitting atop meager little flights of stairs, so when a minion would come to ask me for something, I would tower of them. Cower before me fools!
Realizing this now, but I never thought we would be powerful enough to overthrow Princess Celestia. But on the night of our last concert she showed at the last minute and now she works for us. Well... sort of. And she deserved it! I deserve energy, it's all mine!
She has a lot of resistance on her, she is only half controlled, trying to fight our music song we used on her at the last minute of the concert.
Weak.
Weak!
WEAK!
She's so weak!
It affected her, but she wasn't fully compliant with us, right now she resides within the lower levels of the castle. And I'm just waiting for her to finally be weak enough to make her mindless and another servant for one of us. Slowly, but surely she'll come around and when she does I'll be ready.
Everywhere you look you'd see a minion with glowing green eyes doing the chores around the entire castle. All of the mindless lived near the castle to serve our every whim, and its nice to have plenty of the mindless around to give us negative energy, or fight with others when were low. It feels so wonderful.
Our minion's burst through the door carrying two large thrones for Sonata and Aria. They awaited my orders. "Set those two thrones right beside me," I ordered. I pointed at my left and right side of the throne. They obediently carried the and set them gently onto the left and right of me.
They looked so lifeless and dull. I loved it! They moved the big thrones upwards towards my throne, resting on the balanced surface of stairs. The movers grunted, but didn't complain and slowly moved them right beside me. I gazed at the beautiful bejeweled thrones laid beside me. One was completely covered in blue sapphire stones just for Sonata and the other one was bejeweled of purple jewels just for Aria and for me: crimson red jewels. I don't even realize I want so many jewels!
Red is secretly my favorite color. I don't usually wear red, but I love the symbolism behind it. I love how it can mean a bunch of things. It can mean blood, love. But for me personally? I prefer the original red symbolizing evil and hatred.
As I gazed at the beautiful jeweled thrones that laid before me someone poked me behind my back.
I turned around and saw Sonata and Aria grabbing a pony by its arms and tugging it across the floor against his will, he tried to fight against them. He tried kicking them with his legs, but he should know better. We're more powerful when we're together.
WEAK!!
"Hey Adagio, we found another pony in Canterlot," Aria said, grunting and trying to keep hold of the prisoner.
"He's fighting harder than we expected, but hey! We found him!" Sonata said positively. True Sonata. Very true.
I stepped down and took a good look at the pony. He was deprived of food, by how skinny he looked. I could see his rib bones through his skin. His chin was broken open and bleeding. His knees and elbows were scuffed up. Surely he will do anything to get food. He looks so weak I could kill him.
"Look's like someone's hungry," I taunted. "Minions! I need food!" I yelled into the air, with in a matter of seconds a pony arrived with a yummy, delicious plate of a small daisy sandwich. I took it from the silver plattered dish it was in and waved it in his face.
He gazed at it longingly, licking his tongue and reaching for it with his mouth. I moved it farther away from him and he so desperately desired the small sandwich. "Are you hungry?" I asked sympathetically fake to him. Aria and Sonata snickered at him. He nodded mesmerizedly while I waved it in his face.
I smiled devishly, "What would you do to get food on your plate for the rest of your life?"
"Anything!" he answered immediately.
"Well then, let me sing you a little song before I give you some food," I snickered maniacally. Aria and Sonata and I started vocalizing. Our song echoed throughout the entire castle.
"You didn't know that you felt,
Now that your under our spell.
Blindsided by the beat, clapping your hooves, moving your feet,
You didn't know that you felt,
Now you've fallen under our spell."
Aria and Sonata let the prisoner to go only to find out that he started following the instructions to the song. He started clapping his hooves and stomping his feet. Its working! His eyes started to become an evil shade of green.
"We've got the music, makes you move it, got the song that makes you lose it,
We say jump, you say "How high?"
Put your hands up to the sky.
"We've got the music, makes you move it, got the song that makes you lose it,
We say jump, you say "How high?"He jumped into the air.
Put your hands up to the sky. And then he raised his hooves to the sky.
You didn't know that you felt,
Now that your under our spell,
"Listen to the sound of my voice,
Soon you'll find you don't have a choice,
He swayed back and forth just listening to the song. He loved every single minute of it.
"Captured in the web of my song,
Soon you'll all be singing along,
More minions started appearing through the entrance door. Soon they all started dancing to our song.
"We've got the music, makes you move it, got the song that makes you lose it,
We say jump, you say "How high?"
Put your hands up to the sky.
We've got the music, makes you move it, got the song that makes you lose it,
We say jump, you say "How high?"
Put your hands up to the sky.
All of them were dancing and then they started arguing with each other, giving off negative energy for us to feed off of. The green smoke drifted into our necklaces, giving us power, making us feel stronger. That was the purpose of the song to make them give off negative energy and become one of our permanent minions once more.
You didn't know that you felt,
Now that your under our spell.
You didn't know that you felt,
Now that your under our spell! I gave out a maniacal laugh and felt stronger and more reassured that my minion army will always be mere snacks to us.
I LOVE THE ENERGY SO MUCH!
"I lied about the sandwich," I said out loud, but he didn't care. There was no time for eating, "You have chores to do." I said and shooed him out to go clean anything that had dust on it and he obediently went and looked for something to do with a blank expression on his face.
Today was another wonderful day filled with feeding off the negative energy of others and I loved it!
I am not crazy, all I want is power.
