Equestrian Warriors

Princess Luna started walking down a long spiral staircase. "So, the Monster of Ponyville was real after all. But I want to know why it saved a foal? How could such a strange monster be so kind?" She had finally reached the bottom of the staircase.

"Princess Luna." Two Royal Guards say and bow down in unison. The white-coated Stallion started talking. "The beast is in the first cell, but there is something you should know about him."

Luna raised an eyebrow. "Him?" She asked in a confused tone.

The same guard rubbed the back of his head with one of his hooves. "Yes, he's one of those beasts that have a gender. And the other thing is that he can talk, but isn't very willing right now."

"It, I mean he speaks?" Luna asked, still in a confused tone.

"That is correct Princess." The other guard said.

"Well then, I shall go speak to him." As she said that to the guards, she slowly walked towards the cell holding the "monster". She used her magic to unlock the door and walked into the cell. Inside the cell was a dusty purple creature with electric chains on his arms that were connected to the wall he was leaning on. "So, you are the monster of Ponyville?"

Gumdramon slowly lifted his head and opened his eyes. A sudden grin showed on his face. "Well, well, well. Princess Luna I presume?"

Luna's face was now one of total shock. "How do you know my name?" She asked, looking at him with anger in her eyes.

"I had nothing to do here, but read. Nice to finally meet you, your highness." Gumdramon tried to bow, but was stopped by the chains. "Sorry I can't really do a royal greeting with these chains." He said with a shrug.

"Silence beast, I want to know what you were doing in that little town."

"Well, I couldn't really come to Canterlot or else I would've been in the same situation I'm in right now. Also I have some friends that I just made, but looks like i might be doing five to ten." He said in a very annoyed way.

"Five to ten?" Luna asked with a tilted head.

"Well never mind that. Now if you would be so kind to let me out before a real monster comes to Canterlot..."

"What are you talking about?"

Gumdramon looked over at his bag on the floor behind her. "Everything will be explained if you would just grab the book with the red symbol on it in that book."

Luna looked over at the bag on the floor and walked towards it. She used her magic and pulled out the bag with the red symbol on it. "What does this symbol mean?"

"Oh, nothing much, Just the living embodiment of everything bad that's ever happened or someone's ever done in their life." He said, rolling his eyes.

She looked at the book again and slowly opened it. She looked at a couple of pages with a brief history, the anatomy, and facts about the creatures called Shadows. "I-is this all true?" She asked, stuttering a little bit.

Gumdramon just simply nodded to answer her question. "And if you don't let me go, your kingdom might fall."

"I-I'm sorry, but I cannot let you go. Until I can figure out if your good or not, You'll be staying in this cell for a while." She said.

"If that is your wish, then so be it." He said trying to bow once again.

As Princess Luna walked out the cell door, she left the door unlocked. As she continued to walked up the stairs she grew a small grin on her face. "He's so charming."

"...But why not! He's our friend!" Twilight shouted.

"I'm so sorry Twilight, but this makes all of the citizens feel safer. So, until the citizens of Ponyville will calm down, he must stay in the dungeon." Princess Celestia said, putting her hoof on one of Twilight's shoulders.

Suddenly there was a huge quake that just came out of no where. "What was that?" Rainbow Dash asked.

A large dark figure started crawling down the side of the castle. A huge, earth shattering roar could be heard through out all of Canterlot. Everyone ran towards the clear window to the side that the creature crawled down.

Twilight was shocked. "Is that.. A SHADOW!"

The creature was a black, twenty feet tall monster with a tentacle for a leg and two long arms with only two fingers each. There were several red sharp spikes coming out of it's back and two long tentacle like antennas coming out of it's head. It had no eyes, but the Shadow Symbol was on it's forehead. (Which means that is it's eye)

Several Royal Guards trotted towards it and blasted it with their magic rays. The Shadow didn't even move, except for when it grabbed one of the guards and pulled him towards his mouth. Suddenly a black mist with red light inside of it seeped out of the guard's body and into the mouth of the Shadow. The shadow threw the guard onto the ground and grew a few more spikes on it's back.

"It's getting bigger." Rainbow said with fear in her voice. She then shook it off and flew towards the others. "Come one girls, let's show this thing a world of pain."

Once the others got it together, they all nodded and ran towards the exit. "Good luck." Princess Celestia said.

Gumdramon was still laying down on the floor, when sudden flashes of the girls getting hurt by the large Shadow. The first one was Rainbow Dash getting hit with a backhand. The second one was Pinkie and Rarity flying away and from one of the arms punching the ground. The last thing Gumdramon could hear was Fluttershy's scream, and then his eyes suddenly opened. He ran towards the cells door and the electric chains broke as he stretched his arms in front of him, finally separating the chains from the cuffs.

He ran out of the cell door and jumping over the guards and taking a few pieces of their armor. As he ran towards the battle he ran into something and fell to the ground, dropping the helmets, shoes, and chest plate. "Uh... watch where your... Gumdramon?" A familiar voice said.

As Gumdramon got back up he saw that it was none other than Spike. "Spike, just the dragon I needed. You need to help me with something."

Spike jumped back up and grew a huge smile. "Anything, how can I help."

Gumdramon raised his right arm and it turned into a little blocky, pixelated version of itself and turned back to normal once the D-Drive popped out of the sky and into his hand. Gumdramon spun the wheel on top of the D-Drive, and it suddenly stopped on a white one with rainbow pixels on it. "Digital Monster Simulation activated." A female voice said from the D-Drive.

Gumdramon pointed the D-Drive at Spike and a glowing white ball started coming from the screen. "Get ready Spike." Gumdramon said. Spike was blasted and covered in the white light for a few seconds and then the light flew into his chest, disappearing inside of him.

"What was that?" Spiked asked.

"Congratulations Spike..." Gumdramon leaned down and put one of his hands on his shoulder. "Your part Digimon now."

Spike's expression quickly changed from shock to happiness. "Does this mean that we can fuse?" Spike questioned.

"That's the plan." Gumdramon said raising the hand with the D-Drive into the air and they both were engulf in a white light.
