"So, what do we do with it?" Rainbow Dash asked, refering to the bipeadal cat that had appeared in the air. we had brought it to the Ponyvile hospital to rest, after all, it had said that, well, what ever it has done took alot out of him.
"RAINBOW!" Fluttershy exclaimed at Rainbow's comment, clearly angry. "HE has feelings and can think just like us, and should be treated with the recpect that deserves."
"Woah, sorry, I didn't mean it!" She replied. "It's not like it can hear us anyway..." She added under her bearth
"What did you say?" Fluttershy growled, glaring at Rainbow.
"Uh, nothing,"
"That's what I thought." Stated Fluttershy.
"Now, 'ah hate to interrupt, but there's still the matter of what ta' do with him," Applejack interjected, motioning clearly to the creature.
"It's not what you should do with me," The creature said, startling us. "But whether you listen to me or not."
"How long were you awake?" I asked him, wondering how much he heard.
"Oh, long enough. I appriciate the concern, kind one, but I do believe "it" is more appropriate than you think." Fluttershy blushed at this, embarrassed by his words.
"Don't worry, a few centuries ago, if any of you were in my place, I would have done the exact same things with my brothers," He stated, clearly sensing our embarrassment. This did nothing to make me feel better, although I did appreciate another scientific mind. I was about to ask what he was, when he began talking.
"Now, you are probably confused about what I am doing here, so I thought I might as well explain."
???
"In another reality, there was a man, who all his life, thought differently than his kind. He was an inventor and innovator of immeasurable skill, and the last thing he created, was a mind-to-video hologram transmitter, which created a hologram of whatever the user was thinking about. He was about to demonstrate it to some representatives from different companies by using it himself, but when he activated it, his mind exploded. By connecting himself to the computer, he connected his mind to everything on the internet, an expansive data system that holds almost all the stories, knowledge, and ideas in that world, and although no-one knew it, several others. Now, normally this would not happen, but as I said, his mind was complex, and his instinctual craving for knowledge bypassed the fail-safes. Using the wireless control systems, he hacked into the internet, and all the horrors within it. With this overload of information, every mental part of him poured into the transmitter, creating the most terrifying, disturbing, and enthralling light show ever from the resulting energy discharge. During this, his machine and him began glowing, he began to fade, while the image of a portal began to form. Once he vanished and the portal was complete, me and my brothers emerged.
"Now, not all of us were good. We were ways he have imagined himself over the years, and only the strongest of us, the ones who he thought of most often, emerged. He had some odd day-dreams. Immediately, we separated into groups. The heroes and the villains. A few that were meant to be heroes became villains, their personalities were more villainous once they were outside of the boy's head. Now, each side had at least one being who knew a form of a time traveler known as the doctor, and immediately they all called upon his TARDIS to escape, but all that time energy fluctuation caused a rip in space-time to form, giving us some dimensional powers, allowing us to "hop" through universal walls.
"The villains split up, some of the heroes are more lone wolfs as well. Any way, I am the one that the boy saw himself as in his head. I was the embodiment of his soul. I am what is left, of ̛Ḿ̧̕͜á̸̧͜͝x̶҉̴͟ ́͢͞T̴̡̢͞h̶̢͘ơ̸͡m҉͠p̷̨̛s͝o̸̸͘n̕҉́."
Twilight
We were awestruck. This is just a mental construct? But it has actual physical form! It's as real as I am! His story has to be a lie. I thought to my self, skeptical of his story of how him and his friends came around.
"Um, not to be rude, or anything, but, um, well, are you sure? I mean, it's just that you coming out of someone's head along with what ever shot Applejack doesn't sound very likely. Maybe your just confused, um..." Fluttershy, true to her nature, tentatively asking the creature, while realizing we didn't know his name.
"My name is F̷͏e̶̷̴̢͟l̕͞i̷̸͜͠d̵̸̶͢͟a҉̴̕͢e̷͢,̸̧̛͠ ̶̡͟͜L̶̨ó̵͝r̨̢d͜͞ ̸̀͘͠o͘͘͜͠f̢̧͢҉ ̸̷̡̛͡C͘a̷̧͞t҉̵̵͠s, but I think it would be easier if you call me Felidae. And as to your concerns, I understand, but it is not any less true. And it is how I can warn you about the danger. He is not after Applejack, or any of the elements," he warned us. I then realized what our forms would get him access to.
"The princess!" I exclaimed, realizing how dangerous this has become.
"No," Felidae replied, confusing us all greatly.
"Not Celestia, Luna, nor Cadence are his target," he began to explain, clearly enjoying our confusion on the matter.
"He is after..." Did he just mutter "Pause for dramatic effect"? "The most powerful entity on Equestria!" he explained dramatically. This confused us greatly.
"But, you just said it wasn't Celestia, and Discord's magic is to chaotic for a mortal being control! The only way Tirek was able to take his magic, was that he didn't take the magic, just the raw energy!" I exclaimed, confused as to what in Equestria he was a talking about. But before I could press further, he began to laugh hysterically.
"HA HE HE HE AHHH AH HA HA HE HE HE, aaaaahhhhh. It's hilarious how little you know about your abilities, Twilight. You are the most powerful magical entity, or object, in Equestria, even more so than the princesses, discord, and even the tree of harmony combined!" He announced, clearly still suppressing his laughter. We didn't notice this, as we were too busy staring at him, shocked out of coherent thought.
"Uhhhhh, are you OK?" Our state of dumfoundedness as it was, when he realized that we were unresponsive he pulled a device out of somewhere. He brought the object to his mouth, and began to speak into it.
"Guys, I think I broke them,"
Author's Note
Prepare for some MAJOR exposition. It isn't my best work, but it's necessary for future chapters.
