David was a bit of an odd pony. His name, for starters, was odd. He was quiet, kept to himself except for a few choice friends. But the strangest thing about him was just how average he was at everything else. He wasn't athletic, incredibly intelligent, or good at the performing arts. He was just average.

And his lack of a cutie mark was a testament to that, a scar throughout his life.

As time went on, David experienced love, loss, and everything in between up until his final breath, one of a long line that shook the world.

Chapter 2 Part 2: (Still working on it)

(Due to the way I posted this, I will post Chapter 2 into two parts, one to indicate more easily when the story is updated and also to keep it from being one huge chunk for an easier read)

This story started out as a bet from my friend who said he'd give me $10 to write a pony story. Since then, I figured, "Might as well do a good job!" and put some effort into it. Whether or not I did/will do a good job, I can't say at this point, but it's been interesting so far.

This is still a work in progress, so any and all critique is welcome. Chapter 1 still has some issues that I might tune up, and Chapter 2 currently is about 1/4 to 1/3 done. Regardless of the chapter being "finished" or not, I still wanted people to read up on what I have so far, if only to motivate myself to continue writing knowing that somepony is reading it, whether good or bad. I will finish this one way or another, both for the $10 and to prove to myself that I can finish the projects that I start.
