Chilly Breeze
Well hey there. My name is Chilly Breeze and i'm gonna be telling y'all the story of my life. But first off, i've gotta tell you about me and this dark world the ponies call the Equestrian Wasteland. So, first, i'm gonna be telling you everything you need to know about me.
As ah told you, my name is Chilly Breeze. i'm a pegasus. There's not too many pegasi left in Equestria, seeing as they're either being killed off by dragon attacks, the government or manglers. Yeah. You heard me. Killed. It sucks. Anyway, back to me, yeah i'm a pegasus an' ah spend my days trying to figure out what my cutiemark is. Yeah, i'm 18 years old and i don't have my cutiemark yet! It just never came to me what it could possibly be. Anyway, I have a white coat, black mane and tail and black eyes. I'm actually quite lucky, considering all the other pegasi are either black or grey. Theyre all this color, because the war done something to the atmosphere and it makes all the pegasi coats really dull. So yeah, dull colors, its really depressing.. And the constant greyness of the clouds sucks too. But the colts and fillies are usually happy, which is good. I didnt come from a good home. My dad always hit me and my mom was constantly nagging at me to do all this work. I have one older brother and one smaller brother. Theyre names are wind shot and storm shoot. They have these awesome names and im just stuck here with freaking chilly breeze. Why!? Chilly breeze? Come on mom! Just. UGH. Anyways, better quit my rambling or this is gonna get really boring. My whole family is grey, apart from wind shot, who is jet black. My parents are so proud of them for getting into the royal guard, but im just here with no cutiemark and no job and they hate me for it. Always kicking me out and hitting me, it sucks. For some reason i always wear the same brown coat, cowboy hat and scarf. No one really likes them, but i do. I guess thats enough about me, now onto the abomination of a world we live in.
Okay, so in the past 500 years, Equestria has changed. A lot. Although i have no idea whats down below the cloud curtain, cause were not actually aloud down there, up here is different to what it used to be. I live in Cloudsdale, you know, the 'grand central of the pegasi realm'? Yeah. ? I've seen pictures of what it used to look like. It was beautiful. no really. it was. It's been completely rebuilt now, its definitely 20% less cooler. Where have i heard that before? hmm. Never mind. Yeah, its against the law to go below the cloud curtain. If you try, the guard will shoot you down. They will kill you. No one has tried in the last 70 years, because of what happened to Shlash Sentry. The poor guy got shot down into oblivion. He was a nice dude too apparently. Everypony loved him, but before he left he apparently said he knew 'the truth'. I have no idea what thats supposed to mean, soooo. Yeah, we all have rations of food. It' always either sky hay or sky oats. Its not very nice eating them twice everyday. Oh yeah thats another thing! The rainbow factory was smashed down 400 years ago. No rainbows. Ive read about them, but ive never seen one.  nor has anypony who is living right now. So yeah. Rations, no color, no rainbows, no ground, no fun, royal guard. Im sick of living here.
