//-------------------------------------------------------// Fluttershy's Experience -by Destroyershy96- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// A new change //-------------------------------------------------------// A new change Fluttershy was doing her regular chores, such as feeding the animals, helping the sick, etc… There was a knock at the door and to her surprise it was Trixe. “Oh hi Trixe.” She said as she went back to doing what she doing. “The great and powerful Trixe came over here to ask you a favor.” Trixe said as she entered the house. Fluttershy was curious by this “favor” “And what might that be?” She said, stopping to look at Trixe. “Oh, it’s simple , all you need to do is close your eyes and relax.” Trixe said. Fluttershy questioned this and was about to ask why, but she trusted Trixie and did what she  asked. Trixe began to cast a spell.  The unicorn’s horn was swapped for the Pegasus wings and vice versa. “Done.” Trixe said with ease. At first, Fluttershy didn’t notice anything. Trixe however, did notice and examined her new wings. Fluttershy was not looking at Trixie, so when she turned and tried to fly, only then she realized her wings were gone. “What happened to my wings?!” Fluttershy squealed fearfully. Trixe smiled “I switched our abilities, you are a unicorn and I am a pegasus.” Fluttershy then noticed the horn. She stumbled backwards in fear, eyes big. “Don’t worry, the effects don’t last forever. There are supposed to be side effects but so far I don’t see any…yet.” Trixe said slightly confused. As she realized Fluttershy didn’t know any magic, Trixe suggested, “Let’s go to Twilight’s and see if we fix this...” Fluttershy nodded and followed Trixie as she yet again realized that she can’t fly so she had to walk there. Trixe tried to fly however she had some trouble. This did not extend to the point of not being able to fly. On their way there, Fluttershy asked Trixe, “So why did you use me… if you don’t mind me asking?” Trixe stopped for a moment, then turned around and said, “Well, the truth is I have always wanted to trying flying at least once and seeing as I have the chance, I decided to ask.” Fluttershy smiled “Well, I’m more of an Earth pony than pegasus.” They continued to walk and talk companionably. A few minutes later they arrived at Twilight’s house “Let the great and powerful Trixe handle this” Trixe demanded. Fluttershy nodded and Trixe knocked on the door.  A few minutes went by with no response. Trixe began to grow impatient and pushed the door open herself walking inside. Fluttershy was about to reprimand her when Twilight showed up behind her. “Hey”. Fluttershy was caught by surprise and jumped on the branch of the house. “Sorry, I was out for a bit. You need my help with something?” Twilight asked. Trixe came back outside “We are here because we swapped our abilities but….” Trixe’s voice trailed off then she continued. “But the great and powerful Trixe needs to know of any side effects.” Twilight then realized what Trixe  was talking about and realized she didn’t have her horn, but Fluttershy did. She thought for a moment. “Ok, come inside and I will test for any side effects.” Twilight got Fluttershy down and the three went inside.  As they entered Twilight’s house, Trixe spotted something interesting.  She saw the emblem from the duel from before but before she could even really look further into it Twilight called her. “Hey! I need you here!” Trixe followed and saw a  complex machine. “Alright. I just finished Fluttershy’s test and so far there’s no effect that’s showing anything bad.” Trixe opened her mouth to question this but decided to ignore it and listen. “Alright then. Please sit down on the machine so we can get started.” Again, Trixe didn’t feel right about this so she backed up. Twilight was confused. She was acting odd. “Hey Trixe, are you ok?” Twilight asked. Trixe said nothing. Fluttershy shrank back slightly. Trixe spoke finally. “What if I don’t want to give up my wings?” Trixe asked. Twilight was shocked. Why would Trixie say something like that? “Those aren’t your wings, they are Fluttershy’s. Besides, I also still have to run a test to see if there are any side effects.” Trixe flew out suddenly, grabbing the emblem. Twilight jumped up and was about to go after her but realized something. Fluttershy was still there, but something was off she couldn’t quite put her hoof on it. She had no time to think. “Stay here- I’m going after Trixe.” Fluttershy only nodded and Twilight galloped away. “What’s wrong with me?  I feel strange. Is it because of this horn?” Fluttershy wondered aloud. Fluttershy looked down, but then all of a sudden she saw images, they were memories. Trixe’s memories. She didn’t understand why but she knew something was wrong, and where to find Trixe. As she left the house she again saw these images of Trixe’s past. Little by little she started to understand the reason for Trixe’s actions. She knew she had to find Trixe- and fast before it was too late. She looked for her all over town and asked everypony if they had seen her. Everypony said no and thought the only place she could be was in the Everfree Forest. She ran there and saw they were right. She found Trixe and Twilight talking. “Trixe why are you acting like this? Didn’t you want my help?” While this was true she knew it was something different but again she saw more flashes of Trixe’s past and all the pain she suffered. She knew all too well she went through the same thing years back while meeting Rainbow Dash. As they were still talking,  it got worse. Trixe almost hit Twilight. But then she  suddenly realized  the red emblem was the same one that had caused her to go berserk in the first place. She thought Twilight had destroyed it. There was no time to think, it was now or never. Fluttershy rushed in and stopped Trixe. “GET OUT OF MY WAY!” Trixe demanded. Fluttershy flinched but wasn’t about to back down if her friends life was at stake. “No!” Twilight was surprised by Fluttershy’s assertiveness. “Are you ok?” Fluttershy asked. “Yeah. Just a little scraped up but nothing I can’t handle.” Twilight answered. “I know why she acting like this which also reminds me didn’t you destroy that stone?” Fluttershy whispered Twilight was again surprised by her question so she said nothing for a few seconds, but then responded with, “Yeah, but I made another one to study it.” Twilight said, a little embarrassed. “Well, that’s not the only reason why.” Fluttershy explained. She told Twilight all about Trixie’s memories. Twilight finally understood. “Ok then. I will leave it up to you. I’ll think of something just buy me some time.” She jumped and hid from Trixe while she was distracted. “Ok.” Fluttershy whispered She went to Trixe who was still blinded by rage. “Trixe, I understand why you’re mad. Believe me.” “WHAT DO YOU KNOW?!” Trixie yelled furiously Again Fluttershy backed up but this time with some motive. She knew if she made one mistake she would lose this fight so she stepped up this time with no hesitation. “I know how much you suffered and I’m here to help. I’ve gone through the same thing before my friends helped me.” She noticed Trixe hesitated but just barely. She knew it to be true, but the question was: if she can get her back. As this happened, Twilight came back, but not in sight of Trixe. “Hey, I think I’ve got an idea but you’re going to have to lead her there.” Twilight whispered. Twilight told her what the plan was. Fluttershy disagreed. “No, I’ve got a better idea. Just stay back for now.” Fluttershy whispered back. Twilight nodded and did as she was told. “Look, I know how it feels to be humiliated, and  to not be able to fly.” Fluttershy said calmly. Trixe was shocked by this. “How you know about the wings?” She demanded. “Because I’ve seen your past from this horn.” Trixe was starting to weaken but at same time she wasn’t giving up some part of her was keeping her from losing. Twilight was surprised by Fluttershy’s response as well, even she couldn’t do that and there was no record of her being able to do that. Then Fluttershy whispered, “Twilight?” She popped out. “Yes?” Twilight asked. Twilight again wondered what she needed. “You still have that spell to give somepony flight? She asked. “Yes I do wh-“ She knew what she was going to do. “Ok,  give me a minute to cast it.” Twilight whispered. She hid again before casting the spell and Trixe was surprised. Fluttershy had her wings back. “HOW IN CELESTIA YOU GET YOUR WINGS BACK?!?” Trixe demanded. Fluttershy said nothing and instead cast a spell to blind Trixe and as that happened Twilight went and got the emerald and destroyed it for good. Trixe was unconscious and Twilight went to get her. Then out of the blue there were back to their original forms. “Wait a minute, what happened to your horn?” Twilight said, surprised. “I guess the spell lost its effect.” Fluttershy said, smiling. Twilight picked up Trixe and they went back to the house. “What a day, don’t you think?” Twilight laughed. Fluttershy was too much in tough to listen. Twilight continued to talk, not realizing Fluttershy wasn’t listening, When they got back, Twilight put Trixe down and let her sleep. A few hours later Trixe woke up. In a daze she realized she was at Twilight’s house, so she went down and talked to her. “Hey, where is Fluttershy? I need to talk to her.” Trixe asked. Twilight pointed her hoof downstairs. Sure enough, Fluttershy was there. “I’m sorry if I caused any trouble.” Fluttershy smiled and said, “It’s ok, it was an interesting experience.” Then Trixe said her goodbyes and left. “Well, how was it to be a unicorn?” Twilight asked. Fluttershy turned. “It was…. Difficult, but not bad…. Well, I will take my leave, I'll see you later.” Fluttershy left with a smile and with a bit more experience with magic. She whispered as she walked “Friendship is magic….”
