The Truth

"Truth or dare, Pinkie?" Twilight asked the party thrower. They were only at the start of their game, and things were boring...for Rainbow, at least.

"Well, Dath!" Pinkie replied. The lavender unicorn scrunched up her face in confusion, then curved her mouth into an 'o' shape.

"Wha-- Oh! Uh, okay... For truth, do you you have any deep secrets that only you know? Or, at least, so far. And for dare, I dare youuu.....To read this!" Her horn was encased in a transparent glow, which also had a tinge of purple. A book was levitated, its cover having the words '101 Ways to Throw A Party! By Twizzler Firework" inscribed on it. It was then snatched out of its magic grip which surprised Twilight, as normal ponies couldn't just snatch away an object held by magic. Then again, Pinkie wasn't normal.... The latter's eyes darted all over the pages, and it was a wonder how she could even read it properly.

"Twilight Sparkle." The unicorn sat up straight immediately, not used to her usually hyper and jovial friend sounding so serious. Meanwhile, the pink pony had a stoic look on her face, having a pointed gaze towards Twilight. "Do you actually think I don't know how to throw a party? I am Ponyville's best party thrower, and if you actually doubt my abilities for even a millisecond... I will be sooooo angry!" she exclaimed not-so-angrily.
