The stainless steel dagger sunk deep into the stallions neck, spurting blood with every twist of the blade. His scream was muffled by his own blood as he tried to alert anyone fortunate enough to be nearby, but to no avail. In the dark captains quarters, nopony could hear the low, creepy chuckle of an earth pony mare, twisting the dagger in her targets throat with her hooves, muttering an insult each twist and turn.

She had one last thing to say before seeming to evaporate into the pitch black darkness beyond the quarters, "And that's-" she scowled back to the corpse of the recent captain of the galleon, still docked at the shore. "-For my brother." She spit into one of the stallion captains lifeless eyes, and left without a trace of her recent murder.

The mare, in her black robe, covered in blood, a smooth charcoal coat and red tipped black mane and tail, moved towards a wooden plank, a makeshift walkway from the small galleon to the cobblestone dock. Her rare, ruby red eyes, scanned the dock for any ponies that would make her trek home a longer journey. She spotted a small apple stand, along with rats scurrying to devour the apple cores that still littered the ground the of the recent mornings' endeavours. The mare pulled her black hood more so over her head as she ducked down and slowly crept across the plank to the cobblestone dock on the other side.

She ran along the dock, keeping low to the ground as not to be seen. Once she reached the sidewalk, she kept close to the walls of the many tall buildings lining the road.

She took out her secondary dagger, as the first still lay in the neck of her recent pray, and leaped into the air. She stabbed the dagger into a sign of the 'Dragons Breath Tavern and spun up on a Y axis, and ripping the blade from the sign, she flung onto the wooden post connecting the sign to the building. Grabbing onto various protrusions sticking out of the five story structure, climbing up until she rolled onto the roof.

It began to lightly drizzle from the dark clouds covering the sky. She jumped off the opposite end of the build, squinting her eyes as the wind rushed past her face. She hit the ground with a 'thud' on her two back hooves and leaned forward into a roll. Before she could finish the roll, she hit a lone stallion on the street.

"Oh- FUCK!" She screamed, jumping up and backing away from the stallion.

"W- hey!" The stallion screamed, and turned around towards the robed mare and his eyes widened, noticing the blood on her cloak and face. "Hey, wait! You're hurt!"

The mare grabbed the top of a door frame and began to pull herself up to the roof, when the stallion ran after her and grabbed her hood in his magic and yelled, "Wait!"

"Ach!" Broken Blade screamed, and fell back, her head hitting the ground, forcing her into an unwelcome slumber.

With a groan, Broken Blade awoke from her slumber. With the sudden burst of pain in her head, she squeaked, and snuggled deeper into the soft bed she found herself in.

Hearing a low chuckle from behind her, her eyes shot wide open, and she frantically searched the room. Her eyes landed upon the stallion she saw last night, and her ruby red eyes narrowed.

"Oh, didn't mean to scare you." He chuckled again, "When I tried to get you, ya' seemed hurt. That didn't seem to be your blood though.."

There was a pregnant pause as Broken Blade reached for her cloak, dagger visibly concealed in in it at the end of the bed she was in. When she felt her hoof slide against he hilt of her favorite blade. A dagger made of a strong enchanted obsidian. She smiled manically as the stallions eyes went wide. She pounced onto the stallion and circled behind him. Holding the dagger in her hoof, she held it close to his throat, slightly cutting the skin under his light blue coat.

She groaned as another stallion from behind her pointed a spear at her back, she felt like an idiot. Broken Blade swung her dagger around and hit the spear up, and ducked under. Sliding behind the spear wielding unicorn and stabbing him in the neck, she pushed him out of the way and slammed the other unicorn into the corpse of the stallion that had threatened her.

"You have no idea how much my head hurts right now!" The mare screamed, now aware of the white bandages surrounding the top portion of her head.

Before he could answer, she readied the knife next to his neck, and hesitated as the stallion flinched. Why had she hesitated, she never did that.

"Argh" She screamed as she dug the blade into the stallions eye and twisted. Blood and clear-white liquid mixed and dripped down his face, a face that a look of terror was still present on. "Never again" she muttered as she removed the knife from the stallions eye, grabbed her cloak and slid away out of a window positioned next to a bedside table, eager to leave this town and any trace of ever being  here. Killing was the worst possible crime in most places after all. These ponies are so weak.

Broken Blade lay in the bowls of a ship that had set sail a her hours earlier. She was going to a city called 'Las Pegasus'. It was one of the largest cities out there. She held the dagger her brother had given her. She used to hate needing to kill ponies, but after his death she had changed. His death angered her to no end, but after killing the captain that had him killed... she hated thinking about emotions, so she pushed it to the back of her mind, and fell asleep.
