Fireteam Harmony

The bright and multicolored form of the Element glided through the inky blackness of space at breakneck speeds. The Darkness had drowned out a lot of the stars, a true testament that showed just how powerful the Darkness really was.

The Element was Fireteam Harmony's experimental magic powered jump ship.

It's oval shaped body was painted a deep violet. It's two front wings are pointed fifteen degrees downwards, at the end of those wings two experimental thrusters worked their magic. The left one was cyan and the right one was butter yellow. They were powered by the Element of Loyalty and the Element of Kindness respectively.

The engines in the thrusters themselves worked by using the endlessly generated magical energy, to turn the finite energy of Light into pure thrust. Unfiltered Light entered in the front, and through a magical reaction Twilight called 'The Ice Breaker Effect', because they worked in the same way an Ice Breaker worked, they solidified Light and made it expand backwards at the opening on the back of them. On their own the thrusters hardly worked but when controlled by the Element of Magic they worked in perfect harmony.

The back wings were swept upwards by a factor of twenty degrees. The left thruster was orange and the right one was white. The left one powered by the Element of Honesty and the right powered by the Element of Generosity.

On the back of the main body one extra big thruster sat, it was colored pink and was powered by the Element of Laughter. That thruster was hardly ever used because it used pure magical energy as fuel. It was highly unstable and quickly overheated. But when activated, it generated so much thrust that the Element would instantly accelerate to light speed. It was never tested above that speed, no one knew what would happen.

It lacked guns, the only thing that halted it's perfectly oval shape was a dome on the top made of glass and plasteel plating. Plasteel plating was the material that the armor Dash and AJ wore was made of.

The second was a single glass window at the front of the ship. The cockpit.

The ship itself was the biggest ship in the fleet of Guardian ships that patrolled the inner solar system.

It housed all six members of Fireteam Harmony, normal Guardian ships only had to house their single owner.

"Everybody hold on tight! We're entering Earth's atmosphere!" Rainbow Dash said over the ship's communication system. Rainbow was the Element's pilot.

The Element shaked heavily as it entered the atmosphere. For a total of thirty seconds.

Then it came across a layer of thick cloud cover.

"Activating weather management systems" Twilight Sparkle said over the coms as the clouds around the Element dispersed. Giving a clear view of the deep blue Atlantic ocean.

"Setting course for the Tower" Rainbow said as she lowered power output. Slowing the ship down from a hundred thousand kilometers an hour to seventy five thousand kilometers an hour.

"Activating optical camouflage" Twilight said as the Element shimmered all colors of the rainbow before it vanished. The only indication that it still existed being the massive shadow it threw on the ocean below.

"We're going home girls!" Applejack said laughing.

"Yeah!" Her five friends answered her.

They've been flying back and forth between Earth, the Moon, Venus and Mars for the past four days. Always keeping an eye out for more Ahamkaras and other Beasts of Darkness.

After another half hour of flying the Element slowed down to forty thousand kilometers an hour.

"We're nearing Old Russia! Not much longer and we'll be there!" Rainbow said.

"Activating Dead Silence systems!" Fluttershy said as the Element stopped producing sound altogether.

Rainbow sighed in content as she put the Element on autopilot. Without saying a word she walked through the ship towards the hangar where Applejack and Twilight would be doing maintenance checks on the various methods of ground transport that the six of them used.

"Any news on the old bike we stole from the Fallen?" She asked as she walked through the automated doors of the hangar.

"No, not really. It's takin' a lot of time just taking this piece a' scrap apart" Applejack answered as she managed to undo the main bolt that held the front wheel in place. Her bright orange coat dirtied with oil and sweat.

"Just admit that you can't figure out how the damn thing works" Rainbow said walking over to Twilight. Who was working on her own sparrow at the moment.

"No way in hell am I gonna let this opportunity go to waste. I've seen proof of these things working in the Archive of the Ishtar Collective. I want me one of these bikes in working condition" Applejack stubbornly replied.

"I could help you you know?" Twilight said as she turned away from her heavily modified Timebreaker sparrow. She had reworked the engine and overcharge booster and painted it a bright yellow and orange, nicknaming it 'Dawnchaser'.

"No thanks. I wanna do this on my own" Applejack said as she took a good look at the engine of the old and rusted harley being held in place by anti-grav magic.

"Riiiiiight" Rainbow said as she walked over to her ground transport. A sparrow reworked into a hover board.

"Too bad magic ain't a real thing in this place huh?" Rainbow said as she detached the board from the stand on her work table.

"It is a thing here Rainbow. Just, the only things in this world that generate magic are our bodies and the Elements of Harmony. Which are to dangerous to take with us in the wild" Twilight corrected her.

"Yeah, yeah. I know. We just generate magic so slowly" Rainbow said as she jumped on her bright red hover board, clicking with her right heel to activate it. It hummed softly as it rose one foot into the air. She smiled as the modified Type-L propulsion engine boosted her forward.

Making an uber-sharp U-turn she boosted back to her starting point. "I'm lucky this thing hasn't once overheated in the four years I've been using it" She said as she stepped off of the board.

Four years ago Fireteam Harmony finished up their training. They had been trained in the ways of The Three. Hunter, Titan and Warlock.

Fluttershy and Rarity had trained to become Hunters.

Rainbow Dash and Applejack had trained to become Titans.

Twilight Sparkle and Pinkie Pie had trained to become Warlocks.

It was the fact that even though they focused on six different fighting styles but still fought together in perfect synergy, that earned them the name: Harmony.
