Chapter One: The Beginning (Human Side)
The long march had worn them all down. They were not used to such things. There spirits were already beginning to fade, and they were not even in the accursed kingdom. It was party of four men. All in their prime. Yet, they looked like death had warmed over them. None of them looked happy about their current status. The man in front leading the party looked especially wore out.
“Shouldn’t we be waiting on those ponies Austin?” The man behind him asked.
“Well actually I got word they went ahead of us.” He replied.
“Do we really have to work with ponies? I mean what have they done for us or our kingdom.” The man in the very back of the line replied.
“Really Chandler? This curse is affecting everyone. Ponies, Humans and even beasts of the wilds. You know that. We need to help each other in these dark times.” He answered
“Ooo ya tell that to the enemies of our kingdom. I bet they already half way to the cure right about now, and we are wasting our time trying to help Ponies.” He said in annoyed tone of voice.
Austin just shook his head walking through the thick brush of the forest. It was almost unbearable. He was cutting, and swing with his greatsword to clear the tall grass. He was starting to wonder if that old woman in red had lied about this gateway.
“What do you think about all of this John?” Austin asked as he carved his way through the brush.
“I don’t really care. I just want to get this over with. I still cannot believe we were the ones who got cursed with Dark sign.” He said in worried tone.
Austin remain silent for the time being. He had no comforting words to give to any of them. He was only one with combat training. The rest of them were just normal people. They had families and friends.
“Thing are starting to get fuzzy for me…” Josh said finally speaking again. This words broke the silent. No one replied to comment. No one in the group wanted to think about it. The curse was melting everything away.
That was part of the Dark sign. It took away everything about yourself until there was nothing else. It effected everything not only human. Plants, animals and anything else that was alive. That is why they were sent here. This party of four was sent to find a cure but, that was only partly true.
They also sent away so they would not spend the curse to anyone else. Other kingdoms were doing the same. They sent their cursed to the very source. A gateway to a forgotten kingdom in a forgotten time. The rumors say that the dark sign oozes from the darkness of the pit, and all who bare the sign are drawn to this pit.
After finally make it through the thick brush. Austin spotted it. They line up against the edge. It massive hole in the earth. They looked deep within it. All they could see was a thick black fog. Austin just stood there for a moment looking at his men.
“Alright who going first?” Austin asked.
“Not it!” Chandler shouted.
“Not it.” John shouted as well.
“Not- Ooo come on….Dammit.” Josh said aloud looking into the pit. He rubbed his short orange locks nervously. He pulled down the leather googles on forehead, and clapped his hands together. He walked back a bit. He got into a full sprint, and went he got to very edge. He leap into the air. He hovered over the black smoke for a moment before getting suck in.
The rest of the group just watched. Hoping not to hear a heavy thud in few seconds. After a good minute. Austin let out a heavy sigh.
“All ashore, who coming ashore!” Austin shouted as he himself leap into the unknown darkness.
“Whelp I guess I lived a full life.” John said taking a step off the edgy.
“I swear if I make it home I am dethroning someone.” Chandler stated as he just fell into the pit.
Darkness consumed the surround the party. To them it felt like the fall was going to last forever. There no light, no sound, not even whimper.
Austin found himself laying on the ground, his body felt like someone had been beating on it. He pushed himself up from the ground. It felt wet. Again he was surround by darkness but, this time he could hear the groans of his men
“Alright sound off if you are alive.” Austin asked the darkness surround his vison.
A union of groans echoed outward back at him.
“Anyone got light?” John voice called out.
“Chandler, light a torch.” Austin sounded off.
“Ooo yes let me pull it out of my magically bag of wonder.” He replied sharply.
“I could do without the sarcasm.” Austin said
“And I could do without an Incompetent leader. But, I don’t think either of us are going to get what we want.” He replied
“I think I found something to light.” Josh jumped in. He felt around his bag. Pulling his flint and steel. He lit the torch. The open fire drew the rest of the party in like moths.
“Where are we?” John asked
“I have no idea but, first thing first let look for a way out of this cave.” He said as josh handed him the torch
Again he took the lead. The rest of the men followed behind. At first they all thought they were lost within the endless cave. They saw no life or light. Just darkness. They kept moving forward. There was no turning back at this point. Austin saw it first a light beaming behind a rock.
“John help me move this.” He said as He handed the torch to chandler. Then him and John got too left of the large boulder. They push it. It was heavy rock it took all of there might to get it out of the way. After that was done. The light flash into the cave blinding them all. As their eye adjusted, Austin walked out.
The sounds of crushing waves echoed in his ears. As he looked down seeing nothing but, sheer rock for miles. He took in the new surroundings. They were not in their world anymore. This place felt so difference. The air was heavier, and there presence that Austin could not shake from his mind.
The rest of the party came out. They had the same look on their face. They knew this was beginning horrors. John tapped against Austin shoulder. It snapped it out of his trace as he looked over to where John was pointing.
“It is a village.” John said.
The village was a little far away. It was hard to make out all the details. But, it looked old and broken by time itself. The village itself was nothing more than old stone houses. The only noticeable feature it held was a black obelisk in the center of town.
“Mmm maybe we can find a place to rest there.” Austin said with just hint of optimism
“Or filled with our worse enemies from other kingdoms.” Chandler stated, crushing sentiment.
“Well it is either that or we jump off the cliff. I am going with the village.” Austin said carefully walking forward against the cliff road.
They followed him down the path to village. There were only six building in the area. It looked very much abandon. They didn’t see anyone or anything for that matter. Until something came out of the shadows of one of the building.
It was stallion, in black hood. It covered most of his body, and face. He had red skin and bright blue eyes. He approached the travelers calmly. Austin eye him up as the rest of the group watched carefully. They were nervous. The rumors of this curse land had them all scared.
“Ooo look fresh meat been a while since I seen anyone come through here. Then again that just means more business for me.” The hooded stallion said aloud. Austin took charge meeting the stallion.
“My good sir, we mean you harm. We actually looking for a group. Have you seen a group of mares come through here recently?” Austin asked him.
“Hmm….. I have not seen mares pass through here in months.” He stated calmly.
Austin looked a little confused by his statement. He looked back at men. Chandler had the “of course they have not” look on his face. The others were not paying much mind to talk. They were just taking in the rest of the village.
“Alright has anyone passed through here recently?” He asked.
“Well there was this strange pair that came through about week ago. It was a stallion and a wolf. I think the wolf was actually a part of the church. Beside them you guys are the only ones who have come here.” He said calmly.
“Do you know where we can get some new weapons and armor? We got plenty of gold.” John asked.
The stallion looked confused as he just stared at the men for a moment. “Wow….you guys are new. Around here your gold is worthless. You see undead like you guys, have the power to absorb souls. Those souls are currency in this kingdom or what is left anyway.
The more souls you have the stronger you become. It also how you keep yourself from going all brain dead on us. You also need Effigies.” He said
“Ooo well that great we lugged this gold all the way down here for nothing.” Chandler said shaking his head.
“Please tell you at least know what an effigy is.” He said calmly.
Austin reached behind him pulling something out of his back pocket. It was a wooden figure of some kind with a black hole through the shoulder. He present it to the stallion. “You talking about this thing?” He asked
“Yup that would be it. But, you guys are going to need lot more. Went you dead which you will. You have to use one of those to become human again or you will become hollow. Now I like you guys so I going to help you out. Plus if you guys bite it I am back to square one with no customers.
You guys need souls. Go to forest. It used to be old training ground for soldiers. It got easy pickings for soul farming. Just some weak undead soldiers. Plus it will give you guys some skills in combat which…I see you need badly.” He said calmly
“Where is this forest?” Chandler asked
“There main path a little passed the village. You cannot miss it. The road will fork make sure you go to left. Also little warning don’t go to deep into the forest if you large structure getting closer to you….run, quickly. Also rest at the bonfire.” He said turning around to walk back into the building.
“Why?” John asked
“I guess I have to explain that as well. Went you die, your body will always reform at the last bonfire you rested at.” He said disappearing into the black of the stone house.
“What is your name?” Austin asked.
“Come back alive with souls, and I will tell you.” He shouted from the darkness
The group fell silent. It was a lot to take in all at once. They knew what they had to do. This would be there first combat against the hollowed. None of them were looking forward to it.
They all sat around the bonfire. It was an old looking sword that was stabbed into the ground. It was sound by ashes and flames. The flames warmed their souls. It was strange for the first time since they had been cursed. They actually felt a little warm inside. They rested their bodies. They all used to be friends. Yet no words were said between them at this very moment. They all having a moment of reflection.
They were trying to remember. They memories of their old life were starting to melt away. This place was draining them slowly they felt it the moment they entered. It was something dark that poison the land, and they would be the one to face it.

The Beginning: Pony Side
Chapter Two: The Beginning (Pony Side)
Twilight lead the charge like always. The rest followed behind. They were much more optimistic than the human group. However, even they felt it went they entered the accursed kingdom. A darkness that not even they had face. Still they try to keep their spirit up.
“I really hope he ok.” Applejack said aloud, hanging her head worried.
“I am sure he is fine dear. Big Mac can take care of himself. Even without us around.” The mare in front of her pointed out looking back at Applejack.
“I know that Rarity it just. Gosh darn it. That brother of mine is as stubborn as mule.” Applejack replied letting heavy sigh.
The mare in the back was shaking, pushing herself into Applejack watching their surroundings. Applejack looked back at her raising an eye brow. “Umm partner can I help you?” She asked the mare.
“Oooo nnnoo I am fine thank you.” The mare said shaking even more looking at Applejack.
The pink mare in front of Rarity smiled at the mare in the back. As she bounces as she walked. “Ooo come Fluttershy. It just dark, creepy forest.” She said happily
“Pinkie! You are not helping” Twilight shouted
The mare flying above them all in front of Rarity, rolled her eye as she flew down to eye level looking at the timid pony.
“What are you so scared of this time Fluttershy? We have the Elements of Harmony with us. We face way tough things then some stupid human curse. I bet we find the cure before those dumb humans even show up.” She said crossing her hooves over her chest as she floated in mid-air.
Twilight at the front of the pack turned looking at the floating pony with a heavy sigh. “Rainbow Dash! The humans are going to help us. On top of that. This curse came from them so they know the most about it.” The Alicorn stated to the floating Pegasus.
Rainbow Dash blew a bit floating over to the Twilight. “Ya you say that now. But, did you forget what their leader said to Celestia. He called her an over sizes horse with horn. He even made a joke about riding her into battle!!!! If you had not stopped me I would have knocked his block off!” She said loudly in a bit of annoyed tone of voice.
“Ooo come on Rainbow! We get to make human friends! I am so excited.” Pinkie Pie said in excited tone as she bounced up and down a bit
Twilight let out sigh. “This is why we need to work together. Maybe if Ponies and humans work together for once. We can come to some small understanding with each other. As a Princess of Equestria, I want peace. I want to help the humans.” She said turning around walking forward into the forest. As Rainbow Dash just shook her head following her
“Twilight dear, do we really need to go through this icky forest? I am getting dirty everywhere.” Rarity said stepping around some of the brush.
“I’m….with Rarity…..this place is scary.” Fluttershy said tumbling behind Applejack.
Pinkie Pie was simply bouncing as she walked. Out of all of them. She seemed the most calm and together. She was excited about the adventure. Because it meant making new friends
“What is so bad about dirt Rarity?” Applejack asked.
“…I meant no offensive dear. It just this kind of work is not….my cup of tea.” She replied in very cautious tone of voice.
“Ooo is walking too much for you, princess.” Applejack huffed back.
Rarity stopped turning around to her with a bit of scowl on her face. She stomped her hoof a bit at her. As Applejack stopped in front of her. Making Fluttershy bump into her.
“I know you losing your brother in the portal has you on edge dear. But, that doesn’t mean you have the right to take it out on the rest of us.” Rarity stated to her calmly.
“All I am saying is that my brother is running around here in this dangerous place. All by himself and you are complaining about a bit of dirty?” She said huffing at the fancy pony.
Twilight turned stopped the party as she turned around looking at the two friend who were arguing. “Come on guys. Please don’t fight. We have to work together in this place. I am sure you all felt it. This place….it is evil. It trying to get into our heads. You cannot let it get to you.” Twilight said trying to get in between them.
They kept arguing. Twilight was right. The poison of the new world around them was starting to affect their minds. However, it was not the only danger within the forest. None of them notice. The rustling in the brush. As it stood up from the ground.
A corpse of rotten vile flesh. Dress in an old soldier’s armor. It was holding a rust dagger. It evens were nothing more than dark holes in its skull. It did not even make sound. As the dagger rose into the air. As it swung down. Rainbow Dash notice it out of the corner of her eye.
“TWILIGHT!!!” She screamed.
Twilight peeked behind her, as her horn glowed a bright transparent purple. A magic barrier formed in front of the dagger. As the undead soldier swung like madman. In fury of blade strikes against the barrier. Sparks flew from the metal.
Twilight quickly stepped backward as terror filled every ponies face. “What is that thing!?!” Rainbow Dash called out. The undead soldier slowly stumble forward partly having control of it body. It let out few moans as it nashed its teeth together.
“Umm Partners we got company.” Applejack said backing up the line.
“Ooo GOODNESS! THEY ARE EVERYWHERE.” Pinkie Pie shouted holding her hooves to her face.
They came from the shadows of the forest, like moths to a flame. The yelling and arguing drew them in. Undead soldiers came from each side of the party. They crept closer the group close themselves in tight circle. The air became thick with the smell of rotten flesh. It washed over the group quickly. Rarity covered her nose as her eyes watered a bit from the smell.
“RUN!” Twilight called out. She race passed a ground of the undead bashing through them. The others followed her. Twilight was shocked by what she saw. The forest was overrun with the creature. She dodged trees only looking behind her once to make sure the others were following her.
Applejack was right behind her. Rarity was behind applejack. Pinkie was racing behind Rarity. Rainbow Dash was having trouble flying the trees were tall and thick. If she tried go over them she could loses the party. She was having trouble dodging all branches. The one in the very back of the line was Fluttershy her emotions were getting the best of her. She was so afraid. She did not pay attention to what she was running into. She trip over root in the ground.
She tried to get up, but shadow loomed over her. She was trembling as she looked behind her. A tall undead solider was over her already. He rose his long sword into the air. She screamed for help as she covered her head with her hooves. Rainbow Dash heard the cry for help. She round a tree swift. As she blasted forward gaining as much speed as she could in the short time.
She rammed her front hooves into the undead chest, blasting the creature into the ground. It bounced on the ground as it slammed into tree. Bone cracks as black like oozes came from its body.
Fluttershy looked up at floating savior. She had deep tear in her eyes. “No time for the water works. We got to get out of here.” She stated picking her up off the ground. Rainbow dash stay behind her keeping her focus on running.
Twilight was looking around the forest for any kind of safe haven from the undead horde. She was panting deeply. They were all tired from the long walk to the portal. They need to rest. That is went she felt something wet upon her nose. A raindrop had splashed against it. She looked up as the rain started to pour down. It started off light then, turned into harsh rain.
She kept looking around just standing there. The other started to catch up with her. She was panicking looking for a rest for them. She spotted something in the distance. A small cave of some kind. She turned to them ones behind her.
“This way!” She called out.
She ran through the mud that was freshly formed from the rain. She was the first one into the cave. She turned quickly looking at all of them. As they entered one by one. Pinkie was still calm as ever as she bounce happily into the cave. Fluttershy was pushed into the cave by Rainbow.
Rainbow was panting a bit. As she lay on the cold ground of the cave. The monster for some reason didn’t follow them into the cave. A sigh of relief went all around as each pony looked exhausted from the sprint. Applejack looked around the cave spotting something.
A small bonfire was in the middle of the cave. It had broken sword sticking out of it. It was strange alluring to her.
“Hey, y’all need to see this.” She stated.
Rarity ran to the fire sitting down next to it. Drying her hair. She warmed herself in the heat of the strange fire. Fluttershy was crying against the cave wall as she curling into ball letting the head warm her.
“What were those things?” Rainbow Dash asked Twilight as she sat down near the flame.
As she sat down she felt her magic, and physical stamina renewed by the flame. She wondered what this flame was. She could feel the magic coming off of it. It made her wonder. She shook her head trying to focus on Rainbow dash question.
“I don’t know. I know Celestia said that there was a powerful evil force here. She thinks it is what is causing the curse.” She stated to her.
“Twilight I think this is a bit over our heads. We need to go back. We need guards and maybe even your brother.” Rarity said ringing her mane out.
“I don’t think there is a way out. On top of that. We have no idea where we came in. We just jumped into that portal and ended up here. The portal could be anywhere.” She replied
“Are you telling me there is no way home!” Applejack piped in.
“No no. I think there may be a way to get home. It is just…it fuzzy. Something blocking my magic.” She replied.
“Darling you should have gotten spike to come with us. He could have sent word back to the other princess for us.” Rarity said.
“No. I don’t want him here. It is dangerous. If got hurt somehow I would never forgive myself.” She said with a sigh. “Maybe if we get lucky. Celestia will send another party after us if we are gone too long.” She said trying to sound more optimistic then she actually felt about what going on.
She got up from the fire. She then started to dig into her satchel pulling out a small orange gemstone. She then put it into her mouth and start scratching it against the cold stone earth. Applejack walked over a bit puzzled by her actions.
“What are you doing?” She asked.
She finished up what she was doing. “I am leaving behind a message for the humans. If they find this place they know what we are doing.” She said.
“What are we doing?” Rainbow Dash asked.
“Well I figured that since it is raining, and those things are walking around the forest. We could keep going deep into this cave. It seem to go even further down. Maybe it will lead to somewhere safe. If we can pull ourselves together. I know we can beat this thing.” She said confidently
They all nodded. But, they all a bit scared. This was only the beginning of their troubles what lay ahead for them was something much worse.
They all were worried grim face held them all. All but, one. Pinkie pie. “Come on guys. Smile what the worse that could happen.” She said happily.

Chapter 3: The Forest.
Arrows and steel flashed through the air. As heads and limbs were flying through the air. They were slowly getting better at it. This whole warrior thing. The leader of the group was the reason for this all the improvements. He was a former royal guard after all. He had the best training. He was slowly teaching them how to fight back against these monsters.
Even if these brain dead things didn't put up much of fight it was still good practice for everyone. Austin cleaver his sword straight through an undead skull, kicking its body to remove his claymore from its skull. He quickly turned around to watch the rest of them.
John was more defensive about fighting the creatures. He stuck to his wooden shield and sword. He let the monster attack first before he countered. He was the one that showed the most promise out of the three. The other two were difference in terms of fighting the horde.
Chandler used short bow he always stayed at distance from the actual fight. He was currently in tree picking off the incoming creatures. He was pretty good shooting he only missed a few times. He was mostly just letting John and Austin do most of the fighting.
As for the final member of the party. Josh was playing the silent kill game. He had twin daggers in his hands. He was taking out the few beings that Chandler missed or could not reach with his bow. He had amazing skills at sneaking around. Austin thought personally that it came from his time as thief.
The souls were flooding into them now. It was a strange feeling to have another being soul absorb into your body. Yet they all felt it, a sense of power was jolting into bones. Every time they absorb a soul it felt like shot of adrenaline. This made them feel both empowering yet, it scared them a bit. Out of the four this freight Austin the most. He truthfully thought this place was trying to turn them all into something….Inhuman.
“Ya know this is pretty easy. If this all we have to do to cure the curse then this will be easy.” Chandler said confidently
“I doubt it will be that easy. Beside we still got to find those ponies before anything else.” Austin replied back.
“I think we should just find cure and get out of here. Let those ponies find their own way home we don't owe them anything.” He said bluntly.
“Are we really having this argument again?” He asked turning towards the man in tree.
“Yes. They just animals. This is like the jungle anyway so if they get eaten or killed then it just how it is.” He said calmly hopping down from his sniper nest.
“Are you hearing yourself? We have an agreement with their leader. What happens if we should up with cure but, they are missing? Do you want to cause war?” He asked.
“Maybe that wouldn't be such bad thing. We could easily overtake them. Our fighting force is twice their sizes. It would solve so many problems. We have more space, more fields to grow food in and a lot of rare gems. We could be better off. You know how the kingdom is now. It has even gotten rough for the nobles. There are too many of us, and not enough space in kingdom. All we have to do to fix all that is put some horses in place on the food chain.” He stated plainly.
“Again I ask are you hearing yourself. They are sentient creatures. You are talking about either killing all of them or enslaving them. John talk some sense into this fool.” He said looking over at John. Who just looked away and said nothing. Austin looked a little shock. “Are you agreeing with this madman?” He asked.
“Look I just want to get home to my family and my normal life. I think we need to look out for ourselves and no one else.” He said.
Austin just shook his head and looked over at Josh who was away from the group looking into the forest. “Josh I know you are normally pretty quiet but, you gotta at least agree with me on this one.” He said calmly.
Josh said nothing just held out his hand signaling them to be quiet for a moment. Everyone stopped what they were doing and just looked around. Josh was an amazing tracker. On their journey to this place he was the one who normally got the food from hunting. He just seemed to be In tuned with whatever surroundings he was in.
“Have any of you notice they stopped coming after us. Even with all noise we are making.” He said to group.
They started to look around a bit seeing it for themselves. This whole time well they were talking not one undead had attacked them. It was indeed odd. There was now tense in air. Something was wrong, very wrong.
“Is something out there Josh?” Austin asked readying his blade.
“Hard to say. Throughout the battle I felt like something been circling us just beyond my senses. If something is out there it waiting for right moment to strike. Keep your guard up.” He said in more serious tone of voice.
They all had their weapons ready. A cold sweat wash over them. Austin could hear his own heart beating out of his chest as the forest grew silent for moment. He slowed his breathing to calm himself down. That is when rammed through tree to west charging straight at the group. Luckily the men were quick on their feet. They round out of the way of the charging beast.
They got a good look at the monster. It was beast made of pure metal. It was covered in blood. This metal monstrous was in shape of bull only it was three times as big, and it had the power to break through the massive trees of the forest. It let out a deadly wale as he quickly turned around readied itself for another charge.
“Move!” Austin yelled as the men regroup and booked it deeper into the forest. The metal beast was chasing them. It rammed through the undead that blocked it path, splatting them all over the forest grass. Josh as always was leading the pack in terms of speed. Then it was Austin and two slower ones were John and Chandler who were barely able to keep up.
They didn’t have same physical conditioning as other two had. The creature had no such problem. In fact it was speeding up as they ran. Austin was looking back watching the creature. He turn back to Josh. “Josh we need an exit NOW!” He said.
Josh nodded as he dashed forward ahead of the party. He looked all around for a safe haven. He saw it. A small cave carved into the side of the mountain beside the forest. “OVER HERE.” He said waving them down as they all jumped into mouth of the cave with massive bull right behind them ramming the entrance. It was too big to get through the mouth of the cave but, it shook the whole cave when it rammed it. The beast pulled back from mouth of the cave shaking its head a bit.
“What in the name of Lord Gwyn was that?” Chandler said panting as he lean against the cave wall.
“I don’t know.” Austin said calmly.
“Ooo that pony said it was so safe out here. Bastard threw us to lions.” Chandler said still trying to caught his breathe.
“I am….too tired to arguing with you.” Austin said as he looked forward.
John and Josh were limping their way to bonfire that was in center of the cave. He was so happy to see that thing that tears almost came out of his eyes. He made his way over there and just hit the ground with thud as the warmth washed over him.
“Well that could have been worse.” Austin said to party.
“Worse? You think something could be worse than being chased by a metal giant bull trying to turn us into puddles.” John said.
“…Well it didn’t get us so I would call that good day.” Austin replied.
John just shook his head sitting at the fire. Chandler stood up from the wall and looked out into forest trying to spot the bull to see if it had gone. Josh was in the very back of the cave. He waved Austin over. Austin got up and went over to Josh. Josh pointed to ground. On ground was some kind of bright letters that when touched lit up. Austin’s eyes wide as he read the message.
The message read as followed:
“Greeting Humans, I really hope you find this message. I know were supposed to meet at the entrance But, we kind of went ahead into this world and got a bit overwhelmed by the creatures outside. I do hope you are safe. If you find this message please follow us. We went deep into the cave.
-Sighed Twilight Sparkle.”
Austin looked forward into cave. He let frustrated sigh. The cave had been closed off by rocks. It looked like roof have come down blocking the path. That was just great. He hoped those ponies would find their way out somewhere else.
“Look like we are not getting out that way.” He said turning around to the bonfire.
“Is it gone yet Chandler?” Austin asked
“Nope. It is waiting for us to leave. It knows we are in here. It staying right at tree line.” Chandler replied a bit pissed at what was going on.
“Well at least we know the god forsaken thing is smart.” Austin replied.
“Anyone got any ideas?” He asked, everyone remind silent for the most part.
“We could just wait it out. It could get bored and wander off.” John said.
“That thing was stalking us for a while now. Its hunting us. I don't think it going to give up so easily. On top of that. We need food and water. That thing doesn't need such things. If comes down to a waiting game we will died long before it gives up.” Josh stated to group.
“That is just peachy.” Austin replied with sigh. Nothing had been easy since they got here.
Chandler was currently eyeing up creature and looking at treetops. He didn't say anything yet. “Well…I have idea but, it will only allow us to move deeper into forest. “ Chandler said
Austin just looked at him for a bit before nodding. “Well it is better than nothing I guess. What is your plan?” Austin asked.
“See that big branch at the top of the trees a few feet behind our metal friend.” Chandler said.
Austin looked up spotting an old looking branch that looked like it was about to fall off. “Ya I see it.” Austin replied.
“If I hit it just right, I can make fall and hit some branch. Maybe if it makes a big enough noise we can draw it away from us and we can make run for it. But, if do that then that bull will be blocking us from going backwards. So what do we do fearless leader?” He asked in a smug tone of voice.
“Well your plan is the only one that gives us a slight chance of survival. Everyone get ready to run as soon as that thing leaves. We run like we got hellhounds at our feet.” He said nodding. As soon as Josh and John got behind them. Chandler let the arrow fly at branch. It knock it down slamming it into other branches as it hit the ground with large thud. The bull took the bait turning around and running off towards the sound.
They ran dashing deep into the forest area. As they did so they spotted something in distance. A white castle or what looked like castle.
“Isn't that the place the pony told us not to go to?” John pointed out.
“Well he was wrong about the forest being safe maybe he was wrong about the to castle. Beside do you really want to go back and fight that thing?” Chandler asked.
“It’s back.” Josh said from back of party. The bull had been tricked but, now it was back and closing in.
“Dammit! MOVE! DOUBLE TIME!” Austin shouted as he ran faster. He could see a gateway that was open it lead straight to castle doors. He crossed the gateway with the rest of the team and they were just about to rush inside went Josh stopped them.
“It stopped.” He said as everyone else turned around.
It just stood there away from gate. It turned back around and walked back to the forest. “Well I don't think that is good sign.” Austin said.
