It's been a few weeks since that movie night. Things have been awkward with vinyl, or you've been awkward around her in any case. She's been handling it surprisingly well, even teasing you for being awkward about it.
It started with not being able to hook up with another girl because you kept thinking about Vinyl, and eventually kept you from taking care of it yourself for the same reason.

But in any case, after Pinkie was told she couldn't hold a party at the Cake's place anymore, they moved it over to Vinyl Scratch's house. The party is going to be a big one, so Vinyl moved all of her DJ equipment into her room. Or, at least, is getting you to do all of the heavy lifting while she fiddles around with some wires and dials.

You're hoping the party is going to be good at least. After all, what're the chances Vinyl's actually going to compensate you for your time?
