Sweetie belle had been noticing more and more how beautiful the orange Pegasus was. The only thing she was worried about was losing one of her best friends. She and Scoot-a-loo had been friends ever since diamond tiara and silver spoon had started making fun of her and scoots stood up for her. She got up, made her breakfast, and then told Rarity that she was going out and would be back before dark. As she was walking about, she silently hoped she wouldn’t run in to scoot-a-loo, but as soon as she thought that, she saw an orange blur go flying past her. “Oh crud that’s her” she thought. “h-hey scoot-a-loo, what’s up” sweetie belle said. “Oh nothing much just being awesome as usual” Said scoot-a-loo. “Hey scoot-a-loo, can I talk to you in the cutie mark crusaders clubhouse in private?” “Sure sweetie belle, anything for my best friend”. They walked to the cmc clubhouse and once they were in side, sweetie belle said; “okay scoot-a-loo, I’m about to tell you something and it would mean a lot to me if you would just sit and listen, ok?” “Sure sweetie belle” “Ok. Scoot-a-loo, when I first met you that day that diamond tiara was making fun of me I knew we would be great friends. What I didn’t know was that one day I would develop feelings for you beyond being just friends. It all started a week ago when I saw you and suddenly realized how beautiful you really were. Ever since then I haven’t been able to not think about you. All I can think about is your gorgeous purple mane and your beautiful orange coat. I love you scoot-a-loo, and I hope you will still be my friend even though you know I have the biggest crush on you.” Scoot-a-loo didn’t know what to say. "Sweetie belle, I-I think I love you too" Scoot-a-loo said. "YOU DO!!???" sweetie belle said. "Well I think so I mean I’ve been noticing how beautiful you have been lately". "Scoot-a-loo, are we mare friends now?" "Yeah, I think we are. But I'm happy that we are, because I really like you" The two hugged when they heard 7 “awes” coming from down below. “Please don’t let that be them” scoot-a-loo says. “I didn’t know that you had all that bottled up in you, darling, it was simply wonderful” said Rarity. “Yeah and I didn’t think you had that in you squirt” said Rainbow Dash, who then gave scoot-a-loo a nuggie. “Oh! I know what’s going to be in my next letter to the princess!!!” said Twilight Sparkle. “Ah do say this is a mighty big surprise, but it’s a good one” said Applejack. “That was really sweet, if you don’t mind me saying” said Fluttershy. “Yeah!!! That was like super-duper awesome! I have to go plan your “now we’re mare friends” party!” and with that, Pinkie Pie was off like a rocket. “Hey guys, I have a new idea about what we can do to earn our cutie marks!” said Applebloom. “Applebloom, as much as I want to try your awesome new idea, I kind of want to hang out with sweetie belle, is that okay?” said Scoot-a-loo. “Ah’m totally fine with that. I mean if I just got a special some-pony, I’d want to hang out with them too.” Replied Applebloom. “Hey Rarity can me and Scoot-a-loo hang out at the carousel boutique for a little bit?” asked Sweetie belle. “Of course darling” replied Rarity. As Sweetie belle and Scoot-a-loo made their way the carousel boutique, Scoot-a-loo got an idea and nuzzled Sweetie belle, causing sweetie belle to blush. When they got to the carousel boutique, Scoot-a-loo opened the door, and then walked in behind Sweetie belle. “So Scoot-a-loo, what did you want to do” Asked sweetie belle. “Well I wanted to hang out with my new mare friend” They turned on the new T.V that Rarity got, and turned on the new mare wives of New Pony. Scoot-a-loo yawned and subtly wrapped her wing around sweetie belle, pulling her closer to her. Sweetie Belle nuzzled Scoot-a-loo, and soon fell asleep. Scoot-a-loo smiled and waited for Rarity to get Back, so she could help get Sweetie belle into her bed. It was almost sundown when Rarity returned and found the two new mare friends cuddling on the couch and realized one of them was fast asleep. “Hi scoot-a-loo how was your day with my dear little sister?” asked Rarity. “It was fun, I was just waiting for you to help me get Sweetie belle into bed because she looked so peaceful sleeping and I didn’t want to wake her up.” Replied scoot-a-loo. With the help of Rarity’s magic, they got Sweetie belle up to her bed and they walked downstairs “Thanks for letting me come over and hang out with Sweetie belle, Rarity” Said Scoot-a-loo. “Oh it was no problem darling. Well I really must get to bed, but thank you for comforting my little Sweetie belle.” Replied Rarity. “Well, goodnight rarity” Said scoot-a-loo. Scoot-a-loo walked outside and started making her way home. So much had happened to her today. She told sweetie belle how she felt and got a mare friend. Nothing could beat this day. It was another day in ponyville, the Pegasus had cleared the sky and it was beautiful. Scoot-a-loo met Applebloom and Sweetie Belle at the school and sat through yet another day of teaching. “So Applebloom, what was your idea for our next crusaders mission?” asked scoot-a-loo. “Well since you guys got together I was thinking we could try to get out cutie marks in love, kind of like princess cadence.” Replied Applebloom. “Good idea Applebloom, but how are we supposed to do that?” asked Sweetie Belle. “Well you guys could go on a few dates and be romantic and stuff. Maybe one of your talents could be being a great mare friend.” Replied Applebloom.
